artman_2.0 "Shoot until you feel comfortable with how your gun feels. Come see me when you've got a steady hand and can hit what you intend to. Then we can move on to moving targets." Tony replied, setting a box of spare ammunition beside her. "Remember to take it slow and don't burn through all these bullets too quickly. I can only spare so many." Sasha nodded to Tony. As he left, she took another aim at the scrapping car. "Shoot until I feel comfortable.", she repeated, trying to keep a steady head. "Once I can hit what I'm aiming for, we can move on." Many a times, she shot at the car, trying to practice her aim. She wasn't too good at it yet, but had a slight improvement. But soon, the time came when her pistol ran out of ammunition. She looked to the box Tony had laid down. "Guess I gotta reload now." She knelt down before the box. She grabbed one of the bullets with her fingers. "Wait. How do I do that?" Sasha placed the bullet back in the box, going back to search for Tony. "Hey, I don't know how to reload. You think you can show me?"

(So sorry, I just now got over a nasty cold. Didn't mean to keep you waiting) Tony nodded, showing her the magazines, how to unload and reload them from the gun's chamber, and even how to reload spent magazines with fresh rounds. He wasn't going to let her out in the wastes until she knew how to defend herself.

He wasn't going to let her out in the wastes until she knew how to defend herself. Sasha resumed her shooting of the car. With several places already filled with holes, her only mission now was to shoot somewhere that had yet to be penetrated. By the end of it, it was just a metallic swiss cheese. She looked down to her gun. She still wasn't too good at it yet, but that's what more practice was for. (OOC: Wanna skip the gun training and further the plot? Elsewise, we'll be here for a while.)

*ring, ring, ring* The sounds of an alarm clock ring through an empty house, until the ringing suddenly stops, only to be replaced by the sounds of bed movement and zippers. After about 20 minutes, the sound of water running fills the empty hall ways, and looking in the mirror is a young woman with long blonde hair, a nice slender body, wearing some leather like suit meant for riding a motorcycle, slowly takes a brush brushing her hair fixing herself up as if to leave for a long trip. After putting the brush down, she walk's out of the bathroom and picks up a big gym bag, full of clothes, a katana, a boken, and some other necessities, over her shoulder, and walks through the hallway, passing, two empty but well kept rooms, and some pictures framed and standing on a desk next the front door, and with a soft voice the young lady say "I'm leaving for a bit, I don't know when I will be back. Take care" and with that she opens the door of her house, revealing some the abandoned houses surrounding hers, and some of the damaged streets, signs and, streetlights. Along with her house a couple of the houses were intact but all were abandoned. After locking her door, she walks over to the driveway of her house to the motorcycle parked in it, to remove the rain cloth over it and starts it up after inserting the key. Once she finishes adjusting her bag and her hair so they dont get in her way and unbalance her she gets on her motorcycle and drives off, on the road that has the least amount of damage and drives onward, letting the road lead her in this chaotic world.

((Sure, I'll go ahead and skip it)) Sasha was a very quick study, having gotten proficient with the weapon in less than a week. Tony sighed gently, it would be a shame to see her go, but he couldn't keep her chained down. He wasn't one of those slavers. With a hug and a well-worn backpack of supplies, he sent her on her way, lonely once more save for the company of the automatons that he upkept to... Well, idle really. There wasn't any life around for ages, so the only robots actually doing work were tending the crops he managed to get growing so he wouldn't starve to death once the military rations ran dry.

The sky had turned orange at this time, the darkness of night on the verge of appearing. Sasha wandered a wide path of earth, keeping her head as she searched around. There seemed no danger here, not yet at least. At the back of her mind, she still remembered the many creatures that Tony had warned her about. Perhaps that's why her breathing was so loud right now. Perhaps that's why she clutched her gun the way she did. "Tony said there should be a town up ahead. It's just a few days' journey.", she said as her hand rumbled. Though how long was a day anymore? She couldn't just wait for 60 hours and magically be there. She had to put in the effort to move in that direction. Though everything was beginning to look the same, this road was still an unknown to her. Was the town she was looking for even intact anymore? Was she sure to find one of her sisters there? So many questions. So little time.

Hours have passed, and the sun sets changing the color of the sky to a nice orange, the young woman spend most of her day driving through the ruins of old building and houses, only to stop for a few hours to rest, refuel, and pick up a passenger cart for her bike, to put her stuff in. Now she drives towards a vast open area almost like a highway, believing there might be something at the end of the road or along the way. Along the way, she passed more ruins and some fixed up buildings, only to pass them by and enjoy up on another road ahead*

Sasha had been travelling for a full day now. So far, nothing had come to interfere or interest her in her journey. Though she could have just as easily feel relieved, she was feeling rather disoriented. It was hard to tell if she had made any significant progress anymore. The only clue she had to her whereabouts was the occasional rubble of a past age. If that hadn't been bad enough, she could feel her own malnutrition screaming through her body. The last place she had gotten a single meal from was at Tony's place. Other than that, she hadn't eaten at all. "Perhaps it would've been better to pack some food.", she grumbled to herself. Conveniently for her, she found a place for nourishment just nearby. It appeared to be a food truck. Though it wasn't just any kind. It was more like a mobile restaurant. She had no idea how long it had been here, but it was better than starvation to eat something here. She stepped into the truck in search of food. Sasha quickly found a kitchen built into the truck, and had apparently struck gold. She had attempted to bite a biscuit she found in a box from the freezer, but it was harder than a rock. "I knew it was too good to be true.", she said. Suddenly, she heard a munching sound from another room in the truck. Peeking through a crack in the door, she found a giant rodent on the other side. It was a highly deformed thing, ravenously feasting on rotten food. Sasha stepped away from the door, but the sound of her footsteps seemed to have attracted the rat's attention. The giant rat burst from the door as Sasha ran to gain distance. The creature aggressively squeaked towards its new trespasser. In an act of self-defense, Sasha shot at the rat numerous times in various areas. Despite its immense size and hostility, the giant rat went down quickly from repeated gunshots. Sasha shot it just one more time to make sure it was dead. "Well, I just shot an enormous rat, but where am I going to find food?" She stared awkwardly at the bleeding carcass before her as she realized what to do with it. "I... guess this IS food now. I'll go start a fire, and cook up some dinner." (OOC: I guess until any of our characters meet with each other, we can type about what's going on in their individual paths.)

((OoC: sounds good) As the sun sets over the horizon and the sky begins to turn dark. The young woman speeds up through the road ahead, and turns on her headlights on her bike. Almost an hour or so driving on the road, she spotakes a few piles of debrie and ruins of what looked like sky scrappers and spots what looks like an auto- shop garage, she can pull up into to fix some things out her bike. After a couple of minutes, the young woman drove up towards the garage and discretly parked her bike, turned off the moter, and grabbed her bag, and katana and walked toward the entrance of the building.

The beaten path was really starting to annoy Sasha at this point. She was frustrated by the idea that this road could stretch on any longer. All it served to her was an obstacle, an obstacle to keep her from her destination. And just how long would it be before she finally cleared this obstacle? She stopped for a brief moment to rest. The soles of her feet felt worn from the nonstop travel she had been experiencing. "Just gotta take a lie-down here.", she quietly said to herself. Though as she sat on the ground, she heard a noise. It sounded like footsteps, a whole hallway of footsteps. She looked to the road behind her. In the distance, she could see a small herd of malnourished people like herself. However, their skin was incredibly pale, and they shambled almost mindlessly. Sasha knew just who these were, from another one of Tony's warnings. "Those are the ghoulies, or ghoulers, or whatever they're called." From where they were, they didn't seem to notice her at all. She decided to take this as an opportunity to escape before detection. She ran a tangent from the main road, detouring to a few destroyed buildings. She found a broken stair railing leading to the top of one of the smaller buildings. With not much other to do, she climbed the railing with her hands. She had to hold her bag of rat meat with her mouth, and her gun in her pants. As she reached the rooftop, she hid behind a sign that advertised this building's business. She peeked her head out slightly to watch her adversaries. They just continued to roam. They would eventually abandon this road as well, and go in the opposite direction. It seems that not a single one of them noticed Sasha. "Just how did these things come about?", she asked herself as she observed them.

Tony was up, taking another drag from a cigarette as he read the shambles of a gazette that had been slowly circulating around the wastes. He looked up as he heard the bike approaching. "Awful late to be travelling around, ain't it?" he asked, well aware that he was just fronting himself. With the collapse of society came the collapse of the concept of closing time. If he was up, he would work. "Ain't a motel, but I can look at your bike if you want me to."

As the orange sky of evening fell, Sasha sat down on the road for a bit of relaxation. Sleeping had to be the hardest part of her journey. As a diurnal creature, she needed to sleep at night for survival. However, this left her exposed to all the nocturnal forces that sought to harm her. She had to find a place that would protect her as she attempted to rejuvenate herself. Though until then, she had set up a small campfire for the purposes of preparing dinner. What was on the menu today other than grilled rat? As she roasted the meat on a metal stick, she began to look at Penny. This pistol didn't have unlimited bullets. She realized now that she needed to be cautious about how much she used. "Well, hopefully I won't have much more to shoot at here.", she said to herself. Though she could never be sure.

Startled by the voice, the young woman quickly turns looks around her trying to place where the voice cane from, she then proceeded to reach around with her right hand to her left waist ready to draw her katana. The young woman steps forward into the opening and continues on look around, from left to right then towards the entrance again.
