Teri watched as the collar was now thrown into the water. He couldn't believe it. He was actually freed from that, and he had Merlia to thank. Surely by now he was forever in her debt. He wouldn't mind being her slave, he could already tell she would never treat him anything like her mother would. That was quite a story she had, magic. Well that explained why he saw very few men to begin with, by few, he meant none at all. "Hey..." Reluctantly did he sit closer to her and place his hands on hers, just barely his with thumbs touching her stomach. Her skin was so wonderfully smooth and soft. "You have every right to be scared. But you shouldn't be. You are nothing like her. You're beautiful and kind hearted. You have the makings of an exceptionally wonderful mother. And you're not alone. I'm in your debt now. You saved me, twice. I'd do anything for you, Merlia."

Merlia blushed and even deeper red when Teri got closer to her and placed his hand on hers so that he was partly touching her stomach. When he had mentioned that she was not alone that he would do anything for her she turned towards him only to find that their faces' were only a few inches way from each other. This made Merlia's heart beat quicker. She had never felt like this before. She looked down embarrassed that she was blushing so much.

"Merlia..." Teri looked at her with slight confusion. He felt the same, a racing heartbeat. He wanted to let her go and at the same to hold her forever. He smiled and held her all the more warmer. If she was going to go even redder alongside him then so be it. They would be embarrassed about their feelings together. "You too huh? I've only known you for a moment, but I want to be as close to you as possible. It's so nice and warm, and I've always thought you were beautiful. That first glimpse of you at sea, I saw that every night when I was captured. I can't thank you enough for everything."

"Yeah it is nice." Merlia took Teri's hand and placed it on her swollen abdomen. He was the first person other than the healer who had touched her stomach. "After they took you I could not stop thinking about you and how I was going try everything to free you." She rested her head on his shoulder and placed her hand on his hand. She did not want this movement to end. All things do though because Teri was also still in danger of being taken back. She did not say anything as she closed her eyes enjoying the moment.

Teri looked surprised that she would do that. Did she trust him enough to allow him to connect with her twins like that. He slowly rubbed her belly for a moment, searching her feelings and body language. She really cared so much about him, he could do this for hours should she want him to. "Then, take me with you. Let me stay at your side. I will help you with the babies and anything else you need. Surely you live somewhere that's safe with the other guardians?"

"I live in the water though....." Merlia paused a bit before she continued to speak. "We could get a couples room at the Guardians guild or we could get individual rooms." There was only one problem in regards to her transforming into a human again. There was the fact that she might not be able to transform into human and when she is human she can not control when she transformed back. She figured that if she kept her legs dry that she could stay human but that was just a maybe. She would have do something about when she did transform back into mermaid and then there was when she had to give birth. Those were minor details that could wait until later.

"I like that idea, of a couples room."He suggests, primarily because that was the first option. If it didn't work out, they could always opt for the individual ones anyway. He just hope it all was going to work out for them, he was really beginning to like Merlia more than ever. Goes to show you that you can't judge a book by it's cover, she was adorably sweet. "Should we get going? I don't want to be around when one of the Iron Roses finds my collar that you threw into the ocean."

"Give me a minute let me try to turn into a human." ~I will try really hard to work on my transformation so this will work for us~ Merlia closed her eyes focusing on her on her tail. She imagined that her tail was splitting into and transforming into legs. She continued to focus until beads of sweat began to form on her brow. Soon she began to feel her tail split in two and turned into legs. When she was done she looked at Teri and smiled. She kind of for got that she was half naked when she looked down she blushed. "Um I will be right back." She had stashed her clothing behind a rock. She grabbed them and put them on soon she was back and ready to go. "Ready Teri?" She held out her hand to him and waited.

"Y-Yeah, sure..."He says, amazed to se the magical way she was able to form human legs. He saw the other whale sized mermaids at the Iron Roses do it effortlessly, but even Teri could see that Merlia still had some ways to go. However at the moment he was trying not to watch her leave to undress. Thankfully, she was not long. When Merlia was ready, he nods his head and takes her hand. "That I am."

Merlia smiled when Teri took her hand. She lead the way and about 5 minutes later they were at the Guardian's guild. As soon as they entered they were swarmed by about a dozen pregnant women. "Stop give us room. It's not like you have not seen a man before." She lead the Teri away from the mass of women and went over to a desk and started to talk to a very pregnant succubus. "I know but we have not started to talk about it yet....I understand but can't you make an exception?.....Thank you." She turned to Teri. "It looks like we have a couples room the only problem would be we would have to share a bed because the couples rooms are meant for those who are married. I convinced her to let us have one though." Once more she lead the way up to their new room.

How in the world the succubus was more sensible than the horde of pregnant women of various size were, he didn't know and chose not to question at all. But it seemed no different than at the Iron Roses. He said not a word to them, not that he did not want to, but could not. His timidness had shown at the wrong time. While he was glad they were able to find a couple's room, he didn't understand how that was a bad thing. He would like to get to know Merlia more, sure. But the idea of marrying someone as sweet as her wasn't out of the question. And not to mention, he owed her twice for his life. If that's what she desired, Teri could give marriage a try. "I-I don't mind if we do, actually. Th-That is, if it's okay with you Merlia." He stammered, his cheeks turning red at the thought. She must think he was the weakest kind of man right now.

Merlia was shocked when Teri said that he would be willing to get married her heart skipped a beat. It made her smile. If it meant that she could protect him even further than she would. " I...I would not mind if we tried......" She blushed when she said this. "There is one other thing that I would like to try." She leaned in and kissed Teri but quickly pulled back for fear that he would not like it. It was her first kiss and most likely Teri's as well. She looked down not really wanting to see Teri's reaction to the kiss because it had sent sparks flying in her brain but she was not sure how Teri felt.

"W-Wow..."Merlia did not need to see how he felt. She wanted to try it, to get married? So soon, yet Teri did not want to question any of it. They had not even gotten into their room yet! Regardless, he lift her head ever so lightly by cupping her face. "Why so down, Merlia?"

Anna sighed gently as she sat on the beach, looking out to the crystal blue ocean that surrounded their fair island, a hand rested upon her rounded dome of a tummy. She could feel her little flukes swimming around inside of her, getting ready to be born in just a couple more months. "Mmm, my little soldiers, I'll raise you up to be fine members of the Guardians. We have to protect the peace on this island, and defend it from those dastardly Iron Roses." Her brow furrowed with determination, fixed for several minutes before a loud growl snapped her to reality. Her babies were hungry and she must feast. Getting to her feet, she slowly waddled along the sands back into town to get some food to eat. At least it seemed lively today... ~~~~~~~~~~ A human waitress, burdened by her advanced pregnancy, brought a rather decadent looking sandwich to table 4. "Enjoy your meal miss," she said, bowing as best as she could. By all accounts she should have been home, her due date was any day now. A voice as smooth as silk and as sweet as cane sugar came from the silver haired patron, "Thank you so much dear. Take this as a token of my gratitude," she purred, giving the poor girl a glistening silver piece. She then turned on her loaded reuben sandwich and licked her lips as she brought it to her mouth to feed the litter in her tummy. She was just now showing herself at four months along with seven babies, but Natalie was not one to keep herself cooped up all day. Iron Rose or not, she loved the sunshine, and she loved attention. Eating out was a common occurrence for the nekomata.
