salami since mid 2003 i have been making hats and other clothing but when i saw your lil cat hat i reconized it to be my work...i understand we might think alike but the edits you are doing are taking pplz from me...and i made over 349 edits and some of your edits look almost to much alike... i can confirm what i have said with many many pplz who have edits from my... salami and salami co edits thnx for you help trouble or probs... sorry if this message is a few days late i go threw so much fan mail it is hard to mind the inportent letters...thnx this was a copy letter from salami co not salami... salami is an anime site to with roleplay only top gaians no bout...lol jk itis will not be made till 2005^^ from salami co where the cool pplz go... ok people this is starting to get silly!! stressed for laughs i am going to make an edit of the girl in my sig..which is a character i made up >< and ill send it to her with a picture of MYSELF wearing one of my creations in my kitty hat next to my computer screen working on edits...THEN i will show her the different stages i go through making the edit!!! stressed scream I REALLY am tired of people trying to claim my work! scream sorry for the venting. but this is REALLY annoying me. and i shouldnt have to prove myself to stupidity. sweatdrop oh ALSO: that was also after i told her that my hat edits were based off of some girls i saw at Mega Con. wearing those cute hats. and the kitty one i actually own. if she wants ill put that in my shop "hats based off of girls from Mega Con, FL" "Kitty hat purchased from Hot Topic...remeber to get one today!!" what am i? an ad? stressed

don't get angry, she's obviously lacking a brain cell here and there. (could be down to youth or being dropped on their head a few times too many)
basically, don't put in any effort for her, if she has a problem with you doing your own edits when you had no idea mrs "2003" salami existed, that's just her problem, not yours.
Shame she thinks she's original, she obviously doesn't get out enough. blaugh

Actually, I just had a look at Salami's profile and it doesn't look like she's got any link to edits or anything that would show her as an editor. Also, checking her previous posts, she seems like a proper slag-whore n00b.
not to go offending people, or anything.

Shaolin Wow, I'm still amazed at what some people will try... He takes edits that are not at all consistent (art styles), and then he advertises it everywhere to spread this picture Not to mention that he spelled Naruto wrong in his picture! noroto.bmpThat's the part that ticks me off to most, to tell you the truth! stressed Hehe, anyway, I hope he will see my PM and will cease his actions. sorry, but while they look verry similar, especially the scarf waving in the wind & the sword wrappings, this might only be due to the fact that theyre edits of the same character. they maybe copy & pasted from the same reference pic?
after a closer look, i see differences in the sword handle, gloves, boots, & right arm.. so i deduce that kuroi kenkaku did not steal that edit.

yea u bring up great points. i noticed the exact same points on the scarf, wing, & sword wrappings as well. 3nodding
ive taken a closer look at the pics in photoshop & while the points & details on the scarf, sword, & boots look exactly the same, i see some differences. i have to stay with my initial deduction n say that they are two different edits.
im sorry if im giving away anyone's editing secrets, but my guess is that they both copied n pasted pieces (the scarf, wing, boots, & sword) from the same reference picture of cloud to use for their edits' detailing. again, all the similar parts look the same but up close, there are differences in how they resized & rotated the pieces 3nodding also, note that there are differences in the gloves, shoulder armour, & the right arm with sword handle.

 Hello everyone, to clear this up, I'm very sure I didn't steal this edit. This is my own edit referenced from this popular cloud[KH] pic: KH CloudNow, I took a look at the link given by klody, and there's no way I would have stole her edit since she has the word "Sample" written all over it. In addition, there are differences between mine and hers, [thanks Shocktv3 for pointing out] The sword handle, the hair, my scarf is wider and bigger [the red scarf at the mouth is even different for sure], the brown boots are different, my wing is wider, eye color is different, gloves, and the belt is different. In fact, mine is very different from hers, and I've never seen this person online before. And finally, If I did steal an edit [which I will never do], I'd be smart enough not to post it in the AE guild..... Kuroi Kenkaku Edit: If you need more evidence, I have my .psd file ready to upload. And sorry for bumping this thread up...

I believe you, Kuroi Kenkaku. It it quite evident that the editing job is different.
The avatar edits just look very similar because both artists copied from the same reference picture, like shock said. As far as I can tell, almost all of ummwhy's edits are quite obviously just the reference pictures resized to fit onto the Gaia avatar. So anyone else that uses the same method will very likely have similar edits, because there are only so many reference pictures that can be used (not to mention most people use the same search engine, google). 3nodding
