"What about marid boils?" Her race wasn't exclusively female, both her parents were water djinns, just like Yaya. Thumbs stroked over his cheeks, and she laughed as he mentioned just how many ghouls he wanted. "Isn't twelve a bit much?" They were going to need a huge house, or a ranch. Fourteen demons were not going to all fit under one small roof, but she didn't have the heart to say no, not in the face of that sweet smile. Then he continuing, though not about children. Marraige, and intentions, and the ghoul gave a very startled blink as he mentioned a ring. It could have been an innocent question, but then again, with a lead up like that it could also have been a proposal. It seemed Junko and Terra were thinking along those same lines, if their wide eyed stares were any indicator. Yaya's head gave a little tilt, glowing blues searching the fae's handsome face as she tried to work out just what he was asking. Then she realized the answer would be the same regardless, and a soft little smile touched full lips. Just the same, she wanted to be sure of what she was answering. "Are ye asking about rings, love? Or are you asking me to marry you?" She gave his hand a reassuring squeeze, stroking over the back of his knuckles.

Picking up the pick, Uru mused that he could use any that he could get. He often had a box of them. However, he found that he ended up losing them somehow, somewhere, and he would never see them again. Being self-taught, he switched from fingers to picks and back, working to find where he was comfortable and what sounds he could get. He kept the pick in hand as he looked up to the boil who was apparently the MC.

Roch, completely oblivious to a marriage proposal in the audience, was being his usual self. Once the song was over, he stepped forward, letting his sharp looking guitar dissipate (since it was his scythe) and looking at the crowd with a grin. "While I'm up here, before I let the band take a break and one of you do some entertaining, I'd like to mention a few things. My name is Roch Scythe, of the Scythe family. I'm getting a band together to play at a pal's place that should be opening soon. I'm looking for a temporary bassist, unless Mikey ran off completely, then I'll be looking for a permanent one. If you've only got the basics, don't worry, I can teach you. If you've got nothing at all, but opposable thumbs and all your fingers, there's a good chance I can teach you then, as well." What a braggart. "So if you're interested, swing by either Casino Royale or the building down the street with the gigantic graffiti of Jack the Pumpkin King on the side. As for me, Roch. Or in the off chance you go to Amity--go to that ghost guy over there--Seiji, raise your hand, okay? He's our drummer." He stepped to the edge. "Now the band is going to take a break so the stage is open for anyone that wants to do their thing," he adds before putting the mic in the stand and jumping off. He had a kid to collect--by now even Junko was probably getting tired of the baby blabber.

Junko would point out Roch was crazy if he really thought Junko was tired of holding a scareling.

Looking for a bassist for a gig? Uru scoffed at the idea. He only taught himself to play the guitar because the piano in his room was unplayable. Haven't been able to find an expert tuner for the darn thing so it was sitting as a decoration. He was a trained pianist, not a bassist. Guitar wasn't too far off, he'd imagine, but he wasn't about to go raising his hand to the offer. Looking around to the rest of the crowd, he distinctly heard a marriage proposal. What sort of party is this? Was this one even sanctioned by the school!?

"...yes?" Came the faerie's simple answer, and he smiled sweetly before tugging out his pouch of shiny things. "Just a moment," He stated as he got on one knee to look through the pouch easier, spreading it out so she could look at them easier. "Oi have a few different choices here, so ye can choose whichever ye like," Marosa said, pushing the bag that was sitting on his knee closer to her so she could look through them. He never let anyone touch his bag, so this was a rare occurrence, his golden eyes staring at her with love and trust. In his bag were so many gems, jewels, among other things that he'd collected over the years. It was impossible to name them all, and Marosa honestly didn't even know where to start - another reason he let his Hadiyya choose for herself. Something she liked, just for her. "If'n ye want tae wait, oi'm alright with that too, love." A glance to the corners of his vision made him grin all the more at the gawkers - he was wholly enjoying causing a scene.

If Terra had had popcorn, she would have been eating it by the handful as she watched the scene with huge silver eyes.

" OhmyJack," Junko whispered, reaching out to grab Seiji's t-shirt and tug at it for his attention. Look! LOOK!

The soft, simmering excitement that had crept in a moment before came crashing in in full as Marosa confirmed that he was indeed asking for her hand. It had the djinn watching him with wide eyes as he pulled that treasure pouch off his hip and started looking for it. Chest tight, stomach over run by the flutter of wings. It was a surprise, of course, though certainly not a bad one. Just completely unexpected. He knelt, and she blinked, gaze drifting from golden eyes down to the bag and the glitter of jewels within it. So many shiny trinkets, and he was allowing her to pick one. But she didn't reach for a treasure when she finally moved. Instead she traced the edge of his jaw, cupping his cheeks, and drew him right back up to his feet so she could plant the biggest kiss on his lips. One that lingered, stretching on and on , until they were forced to part for air, and when they did she was laughing, delighted. "Of course I will, love." Another kiss, to the corner of his mouth, his cheek, the curve of his ear as she wrapped her arms around his shoulders and eliminated all manner of space between them. She could pick a ring in a moment, for the moment she just wanted to hold him and be held! Of course by this point Seiji was paying attention, Junko's tug at his shirt drawing his attention, and he was watching the pair with wide eyes and grin. Apparently wedding fever was in the air!

Now once upon a time, Roch would have just slammed his head into the nearest hard object as he saw the dramatic engagement taking place. A part of him wanted to--but Marosa looked happy and Yaya was pretty cool, so he thought quickly. He reached up, and the mic was tossed into his hand. "Alright, I SAID they could take a break, but one thing more--two of my pals just got engaged, so they deserve a song, don't you think? Boils, give me Thinking Out Loud," he called over his shoulder. "When your legs don't work like they used to before And I can't sweep you off of your feet Will your mouth still remember the taste of my love Will your eyes still smile from your cheeks
And darling I will be loving you 'til we're 70 And baby my heart could still fall as hard at 23"Because even if this was a summoning party, Cisco was completely oblivious to the fact--and still playing tag with Junko's hair. So why not? Plus? This would TOTALLY get him interest from the single ghouls in the crowd. Fact.

Marosa quickly gathered up the trinkets so they wouldn't fall to the ground and scatter, returning the favors his Hadiyya was granting him with so much of his own affection. "Hadiyya," He murmured softly as he affixed the pouch back to his hip, "Oi could not imagine anyone else bein' here." He could, he did, but that was a long time ago. They needed each other. With her, Marosa could be himself. He could actually be free. She loved him. He loved her. That was all that mattered. The faerie's eyes lit up as the song started, and he turned and took her hand, twirling her before leading her across the dance floor. His eyes were only on her.

The Djinn ever wanted for the boil was happiness, that light that shone in golden eyes with a smile lit upon his face. The sound of his laughter. That deep, content sigh that would fall from his lips when they lay together and did nothing but simply enjoy being with each other. Roch's voice over the speakers drew her back, though not by much, and she turned glowing eyes up to him as he announced their very impromptu engagement, grinning brightly, before the opening cords of a song in their honor had Marosa leading her away from the stage and onto the dance floor. The grin faded, replaced by something knowing and even a little smug as her boil twirled her, and when their hands came together, backs straight, the look in Caribbean blues was all for him. Of course she'd taught him, whatever the boil may not have already known, she'd polished, expanded. The djinn was a dancer after all, it only made sense. So her movements were precise, graceful, as they began to move across the floor. Long, dark hair sweeping behind her, twirling around her legs, but never once tripping her up. An extension of her body. "We've still got schooling to finish, you know." Her voice was a murmur, the secretive smile remaining. "Though I suppose now we've got some excellent incentive to get to class once in a while, instead of laying in bed all day." ----------- Seiji watched the pair of demons as they moved across the floor. Then, after maybe a minute, he was gently prying Cisco from Junko's arms and offering the scareling to Terra with a smile. "If you wouldn't mind?" Not that he'd give her the option to refuse. His hand was already circling a slender wrist, sliding down to lace his fingers with his fiance's, and he drew her towards him as he backed a few paces away from the stage. "Care to dance?" He grinned, all sharp teeth and knowing eyes, then used his grip on her hand to pull her into a far more casual stance then that of the Marosa or Yaya.

Terra took the baby boil from Seiji with a huge grin, sweeping him into her arms and starting to dance. From the way they both moved, it was obvious this little Aunt/Nephew dance had happened several times before. Roch just kept singing, dancing easily through the crowd. It seemed he'd picked up some new abilities while out on the road--including an arsenal of love songs. He was damn good at them, too!
