[ Narration : First District Alley ] The Heartless that Kauze attacked was knocked back by the blunt fan, stunned but still alive. As Snow dodged the attack and made to start escaping, the venerable swarm of Heartless continued to pour out of the shadows. Some continued to attack Kauze en masse, jumping at his face while others took advantage of the distraction to attack his sides. Others chased after Snow, their circular silhouettes rushing along the floors and walls after her. However, being that she was heading into a more populated zone, the Heartless chasing Snow slowed, rising from their shadows and twitching anxiously. They seemed to be nervous to just run into the main street lights--so instead, they turned around, looking at Kauze as he fought off their companions. Their attention turned and decision made, the remaining Heartless closed in on the small fox-boy, now leaping at his back. If he stayed too much longer, they would fully trap him in a circular ambush; the path to Snow--and escape--was closing up, and fast.

[.:.Snowstorm.:.First District Alleyway.:.Traverse Town.:.] Snow looked up at the walls while she was running. The creatures were all around her. There seemed to be no escaping them. She noticed them slowing down as she ran into the first district where there were more people and lights. Then she heard the fox shout. She turned to see one of the creatures go flying from his massive fan. However, more quickly took its place, like a hydra. Snow skidded to a halt. "What are you doing?! Come-YIPE!" A shadowy claw came out of nowhere and grazed her before she could finish her sentence. Blood poured from the wound in a steady stream. The ninetails got angry as she analyzed her wound. The figure quickly joined its allies, closing the other fox in a dark circle. She felt the anger build up inside until she was red hot. It came out in a burst of fire like that of an angry dragon and blasted straight through a chunk of the shadows.

KauzeLocation: Traverse Town: 1st district alleyway Company: Snowstorm HP: 80%>74% MP: 80%>73% Kauze growled at the creatures as they gathered around him; those in the back swarming around as those in the front darted and slashed at him; their hands drawing trickles of blood from the Fennec through sheer numbers, Kauze gripped his fan tighter as his face twisted with pain and rage; he didn't hear the ninetails calling him; and he barely noticed the burst of flames that soon followed her voice and cast his face in light; it was if a demon had appeared in the mortal world, The Fennec raised his fan into the air above his head "This...is the fury of the Sun lord!" electricity crackled around the fan as Kauze swung it down; a bolt of dancing yellow-and-white lightning appeared and headed right for the thickest cluster of the black creatures OOC: Why hello again writer's block... eat my sledgehammer! I wonder if anyone in the plaza will notice this battle? Used Chain Lightning on Heartless

~~~~~Suria~~~~~~
(((Traverse Town First District/By Item shop stairs.)))
“Such different creatures- only Wakanya could speak… not like back home. You can speak with no rituals necessary, how interesting. I don’t need to dig deep to feel your meanings this way.” She smiled at the little squirrel- “ I’m Suria. And Suria is me. “ turning to the man who approached them, trying to calm down the poor chocobo she walked a little closer to the creature who previous had Doresks head clamped in his peak.
“I don’t think you meant to eat his head- but I suggest against that again.” The creature seemed to calm, and then it felt bad for an entirely different reason, and Suria could pick it up as clearly as a ringing in her ears.
“~Missing, someone who should be with me but isn’t...~” she tilts her head, regarding those puppy eyes and translated the top most strongest feelings and semi cohesive thoughts on the beings’ heart. “~where is the hand that feeds me? They would take of me. ~“
She felt a shiver and that broke off her rambling. She placed a hand to her belly as if something was upsetting it.
“..cold…itching…something is coming.” She turned away from all of them this time, eyes widening slowly like she was expecting something less then pleasant. That, or she had gas.
[ Narration : First District Alley ] The sudden burst of fire destroyed the first few Heartless that it crossed, knocking away and momentarily stunning the rest. The chain lightning did similar damage, destroying three or four of the shadow creatures outright before bouncing and damaging a good deal more. Their numbers seemed halved--until more golden eyes began to pop up on the walls around them. The ones currently formed continued their assault, but dared not venture into the Square unless both targets fled there.Curiously, on the ground near where the fire attack had destroyed some of the Heartless, there was a small, glowing orb. The first person who touched it with their hands would find that the orb dissipated instantly, placing in their grasp instead a small, stolen vial of curious green liquid.
[ Narration : First District Square ] As the people in the square conversed, and as Suria oddly reacted to the negative energy in the air, they would have heard the shouts of commotion and the concussive sound of magic, once then twice, from the alleyway that moved between the Item Shop and the Café before sharply turning left away from the Shop and behind the Café. Salvos, in particular, would know that this particular alley lead into a dead end of stacked crates and boxes.
~~~~~Suria~~~~~~
(((Traverse Town First District/By Item shop stairs.)))
Something exploded beyond the roof tops behind the buildings and startled the tribal maiden who veered off to the side, stepping up on her tippy toes- as if that would reveal anything.
"Panic, pain, rage... running running runnning...I'll burn them away with my power-" she mutters, eventually begining to move, walk, towards the source of the sound. Suria suddenly stops and begins to shake her head as if trying to clear it. From her tunic she uncovers her large stone pendulim, holding it tightly against herself like a talismen ward. She calmed a little more, but looked back at the others-
"Trouble. Over there. Many troubles. I want to go help." She seemed reluctant to go alone though, but began to jog in that direction none the less.

[Doresk: Traverse Town: First District]
The half-orc's head spun to look in the directions of magic. The shouting before might have been part of it, but he was a bit distracted by his 'ride' and the chocobo that he was keeping an eye on.
Still...it sounded more like battle magic than anything 'mundane'. And judging by Suria's little ramblings....
The chef started digging through his apron, pulling out a knife in one hand and a fork in the other, and started moving towards the noise after Suria. He didn't want her going alone, after all, not to some place that was dangerous.

{Inira : Traverse Town - First District} BGM - N/A
"Alright, Suria it is." Inira replied with a small giggle. The human's speech is interesting, much like the hares back at home. They tend to speak in riddles and rhymes so it's nothing new to the animal from Redwall. It was actually comforting as she could at least feel like she was connecting to something back home.
Noticing Suria moving toward the negative aura, the flying squirrel quickly relocated onto her left shoulder, gently clinging onto her hair. Hearing the spirits whisper that danger is ahead, the ring patterns on the flying squirrel started to faintly pulse and glow. Unknowingly, she has started to draw in more energy, the mana, from the air.

{Salvos : Traverse Town : First District -> Alley}
Salvos looked over towards the alley where those who had been in the courtyard heard shouting and magical commotion, tell-tale signs of a fight!. Two of the people gathered were heading towards one of the alleys. It was a dead end of boxes and crates and had often been a spot where Heartless managed to sneak into the First District without being noticed immediately. With a grin the dwarf brought his large warhammer to bear.
"If yer goin' to help em' then let's go!" he bellowed as he rushed towards the alley as quickly as he could.
One might say that fighting was just ingrained into dwarves' minds. They seemed to love it regardless of what other profession they had, and Salvos was no different. He didn't hesitate as he rushed into the alley ready to unleash a beating. He rounded the corner to see two combatants against a continually growing swarm of Heartless.
"Du Bekar!!!" the dwarf bellowed as he rushed in, hammer raised to aid them.
His massive hammer came down attempting to flatten one of the Heartless. For good measure the Blacksmith then took in a deep breath of air and unleashed a massive stream of fire from his mouth. He turned his head slowly from one side to other hoping to hit as many of the creatures as possible.
"Go now to the square!" he yelled at the foxes. "There be safety in numbers."

[Chibi : Traverse Town : First District]
Another calming voice, which Chibi appreciated, but it still wasn't food. Chibi turned to Suria, his animal instincts picking up on and trusting the gentleness that nestled in her heart. His head lifted up, partway into an attempt to touch his beak with Suria's hand in yet another attempt to ask for food.
Then the shouts and concussive blasts reached Chibi's ears. The chocobo's head jerked to the source of the sound in shock and fear. His body was up and standing in no time, and he was slowly backing away, ready to take flight.
There was no Ciel or even Elmina near him to calm him down and make sure he was safe. It was a no-brainer that Chibi should run away, but then Suria stepped towards the scary sounds. Salvos did the same. The only two people that Chibi knew in this strange, scary place--the two most likely to feed him--were about to leave him. The chocobo couldn't let that happen. He wanted food.
Ever so reluctantly, the giant, yellow fowl followed Salvos and Suria to the source of the loud, suspicious noises. He did not charge in like Salvos. In fact, he was lagging behind even the relatively slow Suria, making sure to stay crouched behind her almost as if he was trying to hide behind the slight frame of the relatively small girl.
As Chibi rounded the corner into the dead end, he squawked in shock at the unexpected sight of the Heartless. Without a Ciel around to act gallant for, the chocobo cowardly backed away from the fight. He refused to go any further but retained his resolve to follow Salvos and Suria, keeping the two of them in his gaze.

[Snowstorm .:. First District Alleyway .:. Traverse Town] Snow jumped back as the sudden burst of electricity filled the air. She was almost as stunned as the creatures. A stray bolt flew at her and signed her fur. As she was backing up from the assault to figure out her next move, she noticed a small orb on the ground. She wasn't sure if the other had noticed it yet, but if it came from the creatures, chances are it was better if they didn't have it. The white light of transformation engulfed Snow as she resumed her human form. She whipped out the two katanas that were strapped to her back. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Flames tore from her blades as she charged at the black demons. She took out as many as she could to get to whatever it is that was lying on the ground. A dozen must have fell to her blades as she picked up what turned out to be a bottle of strange liquid. (OOC: I am so sorry for my recent inactivity...I recently got out of school and internet is harder to come by sweatdrop )

[ Narration : First District Alley ] As the new fighters rounded the corner, they came up behind Snowstorm just as she was in the process of transforming from fox into human; Salvos would have noticed as soon as his fire breath had come to a close what had happened. However, what Heartless he damaged with his assault, Snowstorm finished off as she ran further into the alley to grab the strange orb, now bottle. In doing so, she quickly became surrounded by the rest of the assaulting horde--all Heartless in the alley had turned toward her and moved along the walls and shadows to trap her in, away from the other fighters. Without pause or hesitation, they began to leap at her, multiple at a time, claws out and striking her down. If one blow was enough to distract or interrupt her actions, then this incessant attack was likely to keep her locked in place under constant pressure just to hold her ground. If someone didn't intervene soon, she would likely be a lost cause. [[ GM Note: Unless specified for balance or story reasons, friendly offensive magic normally doesn't affect allies. Just for future reference. ]]

{Azuria [Pet: Ted].:. Agrabah .:. Bazaar}
Azuria ignored her brother’s calls—both the vocal and the core calls—and finished wending her way towards the jewelry stalls. She bent close to examine the various gemstones, listening for a call that wasn’t her brother. That peculiar chime that only came from the hearts of her people was distinct, but in a noisy place like this could be very hard to miss.
She heard it, a sound like a tiny bell, but it wasn’t coming from the jewelry in this stall. These stones were no more alive than the average river rock. Some were even fake, and she made an offhand comment to one of the customers when they expressed interest in a particularly large "sapphire." Stained glass was pretty enough, but it was no sapphire. The look on the merchant's face suggested he would have taken offense if not for the rather large snake draped over her shoulders. He'd opened his mouth when the Rattler Boa had raised his beautiful hooded head and stared the merchant down. The poor merchant's audible gulp could even be heard over the bazaar babble.
Again, that chime, a tone different from her brother’s. Higher, more weary, as if all hope had been lost and it now called out of habit. Azuria absently patted Ted as she looked around, trying to pinpoint the call. It sounded so familiar, and her core called out to the other, though she didn’t expect an answer. After all, she’d thought she’d heard another of her people before, and been wrong.
But she got an answer. A shocking one; the tone so filled with joy and hope and despair and fear that, had she been able to, Zuri would have wept. One hand flew to her core, the fingertips pressed against the warm, pulsing crystal. She had direction, now, and once again began weaving her way in and out of the bazaar-goers, following one person in particular.
Could it be?
