Raven ShadowI'm the part of the bird that's not in the sky.
I can swim in the ocean and yet remain dry. What am I? Except, Raven wasn't going out of the mansion. He was actually going to another part of it. The new neko's room. "Did you have a bad dream?" Raven asked. He had been waiting for her to wake up. He had no idea what the neko dreamt about, he wasn't that powerful. But he was powerful enough that he only had one weakness. Well, he had several, but only one would kill himself. He kept himself from even thinking about it, in fear that anyone, at any time, cold be some sort of mind reader.

 Kali let out an involuntary mew at the sound of a voice near her door. She looked at her door to see a young man standing there. She nodded when he asked if she'd had a bad dream. "Who are you?" she asked. For some reason, even though he was male, she wasn't afraid of him.

But getting back to the subject, what did you dream about?" He didn't really need to know. He was just delaying the inevitable question that he had to ask her. Her dream didn't have anything to do with it.

Kali blinked when he asked what she had dreamed about. "I was dreaming that I was with my family," she said. "Then my family were led away in chains. I was left alone in our empty house. Then bad people came and put me in chains and locked me in a cage." She didn't want to think about the dream, but she wondered why he had asked.

Kali thought back to when her family was all together, smiling as she spoke. "I actually have two sisters," she said. "Both of them were older than me. Ali was gentle and understanding; Sara was always happy about something or other. Emili reminds me of Sara in a way, since Emili appears to be happy all the time."

Kali nodded when Raven asked if she had any other siblings. "I have an older brother," she said. "His name is Brad. He was always quiet and reserved, unlike our dad, who was always trying to make us laugh. Mama was more serious."
