Just as he was about to take a bite, he looked over to Dyani as she stared at him in utter shock and shifted his gaze towards Haru as he heard her question. He quirked his eyebrows in confusion as he looked towards his frightened companion. "Are you alright?" asked the boy worriedly as he realised Dyani was a bit.. Dyani whimpered softly to herself. She looked up at Haru, a soft sigh of relief escaping her lips. She offered an apologetic smile. "Oh. Okay," she said softly, looking at Alvah and nodding gently. She shifted in her seat and pulled her legs up against her chest, her skin it's usual pale color. She buried her face in her knees for a brief moment, then rested her chin on the top of her knees and gazed at Alvah. She got lost in thought, chewing slightly on her coral-colored bottom lip. "I'm not used to smelling so many scents at one time..." she mumbled quietly, blinking out of her daze and offering another apologetic smile. Well. That, and the fact that I'm not used to being around strangers... Or... Flirted with... Her cheeks flushed, and she had to look away from Alvah. Her lips tingled where he'd touched them earlier. Almost unconsciously, she reached a delicate hand up and ran the pad of her finger across her bottom lip.

Noticing as to how both his companions only had a little of the desserts, he picked out some of the desserts from the bag and passed it to both of them. "Please, eat more. Help yourselves." smiled the boy as he picked another macaron and chewed on it. He shifted his gaze towards the brunette as he felt someone in particular staring at him, only to have her shift her gaze elsewhere but one of her actions had caught his attention, she was brushing her finger over the spot where he had touched earlier, possibly even.. blushing? Dyani blinked when Alvah passed a cookie to her, looking at him and smiling slightly. Her legs slid down from their position in the chair, and she crossed them. She lifted the dessert, removing her hand from her lips, and bit into it, squeaking when crumbs went everywhere. As she chewed, she dusted the crumbs from her chest and lap, humming very softly to herself. She had taken another bite when Alvah addressed her. The brunette shifted her gaze towards him, her fingers watching in an almost-horror when his finger touched his lip. More blushing. She coughed in surprise on the cookie in her mouth, forcing it down and clearing her throat. "Y-yes. I am simply not used to... so many sweets," she told him quietly, hoping he understood what she meant. She tucked her hair behind her ears, finishing her cookie and reaching into the bag to find something else.

He gently nodded in an apologetic gesture as he understood her words. She does seem pretty nervous with his flirtatious manner and he couldn't help but chuckle a little before shifting his gaze back towards the bag of desserts. He continued to eat his, minding his own business as he checked the time, Dexter and Indie have gine for quite a while now, and Alvah's just silently praying that they don't break into a fight or anything close to that. "It's prettt isn't it? Haru closely watched the two. Alvah seemed to be a huge flirt, and Dyani was adorable and pretty and looked really shy. After finishing off about five cookies, she sat quietly and played with her hair, braiding and unbraiding it. "Hehe..." She was glad that her hair was so naturally wavy.

Dyani leaned back in her chair patiently, looking up as the glass panels of the greenhouse roof. She felt the sun on her face and sighed happily, closing her eyes. "Reminds me of home," she mumbled softly, breathing in the scent of her companions as well as the scent of the flowers. They assaulted her nose, but in a good way. Peonies, carnations, roses, daisies- and, of course, her favorite, the lilies. So strong yet so beautiful. Wistfully, the brunette wished she was stronger. More outgoing. But she wasn't, and that was okay. Opening her eyes, she glanced between her two friends. Then, she grabbed a final cookie and stood, following the scent of the lilies. She knelt by then, chewing the cookie thoughtfully. "Lilies are my favorite. My brother thinks they smell too strong, but I love them," she said aloud, smiling and tilting her head. Tears began to pool in her eyes. Lilies had also been her grandmother's favorite. She sat criss-cross on the stone pathway, cookie half-eaten in her hand, and she hummed softly to herself a song her grandmother would sing to help her sleep.

"I used to braid my sisters' hair. Forced to, that is." said the boy as he brushed over his fingers with his other hand. Recalling the sweet memories, he couldn't help but smile. He looked over to Dyani as she sat on the stone pathway as he nodded. "Indeed it does, nostalgic, if I must say." he placed a small macaron in his mouth, savouring the taste before chewing and swallowing it. Lillies? That's rather unique. Dyani stood, gently wiping her eyes, and strode back over to her companions. She sat down in her original seat, feeling her stomach rumble. She hadn't eaten since she'd left home. And a whole bunch of cookies and pastries didn't quite count as a meal. She leaned back, hands folded gently in her lap, and she yawned sleepily. It'd been a long day already, yet she'd failed to attend any classes. Oh, that was alright. It's not like her brother would care much, they were just supposed to be in hiding. School simply made her blend a bit better. The brunette reached up, moving all of her thick tresses over to one shoulder and beginning to pick out all the accessories from her hair. They were traditional in her village, the delicate-looking flowers. And she'd received them as a going-away present from her mother. But, after a few days without water, they were beginning to look sad. She vaguely thought about replacing them with flowers from the greenhouse, but decided against it. "What is life like? Uhm... as an incubus, Alvah?" she asked him softly, trying to be polite, and offering him a curious smile.

He gently pushed the bag towards her, hoping she would eat more of it, since they had gotten a little of everythinf back at the shop. "Don't starve yourself. Desserts won't satisfy yoy much but at least eat some more." said the boy with a worried tone as he proceeds to finish the remaining of his food. "Life's normal, like a normal person. Except family rules were strict and we were made to speak and do everything formally by father, that is. Well, the bloodline remained hidden, and I had manage to get a job outside." he shifted his gaze towards Dyani as she started to take the flowers out of her hair. He remembered he had a blue hyacinth that Indie had gave him and he proceeds to tuck it behind her ear. "There, that'll do." said the boy as he held the fake flower in his hand. Dyani shook her head, gently pushing the bag back. "I'll probably go find something to eat here in a little bit,"she told him quietly, then listened when he started to talk about his life. She nodded quietly when he finished, looking at the dying flowers that were cupped in her hands. She was startled when she felt a strong hand near her face. She flinched back a bit, but let him put the blue hyacinth in her hair. Her cheeks flushed deeply. It was such a sweet and intimate gesture. She reached up and touched it, already able to smell it's fragrance. "Hyacinth bulbs are poisonous," she murmured quietly, tilting her head and looking at Alvah's light eyes with curiosity and fondness. This boy intrigued her. She smiled at him, crossing her legs under her and looking down at her hands. She felt her stomach rumble once more. "Lilies are poisonous to cats only," she said simply, looking back down at the flowers she had discarded from her hair.

"I'm terribly sorry, what have I done.' he gently brushed the sides of her hair out of her face and placed the hyacinth in her hands. Feeling a little bad to have placed it in her hair, what if it had come in contact with her face? What was he even doing, placing something like that behind her ear.
"You.. know a lot about flowers, don't you?" asked the boy with curiousity. He opened the dessert bag, which seems like it's about to finish. He felt relieved as he grabbed a pudding and started eating. Dyani looked at Alvah wide-eyed when he took the flowers from her hair. She was almost insulted. And then she laughed softly, reaching out and gently grasping his hand. She shook her head, "No, no. The blooms are hardly poisonous. It's the bulbs. When you plant them?" she clarified, smiling and receiving the bundle of flowers. She blushed softly at him, biting her lip. "Im so sorry," she apologized gently, placing the hyacinth back into her hair behind her ear. She glanced between her companions. The brunette nodded at Haru's question almost sadly, and nodded at Alvah's wordlessly. She stated down at her hands. "My grandmother taught me all about them," she told him quietly, giving a very small shrug and offering a sad smile. The very though of her grandmother made Dyani want to burst into tears. However, she'd cried enough over it. And she didn't want to seem like a basket-case or attention-whore to her new friends.

Haru happily took the rest of the sweets and gave Alvah a grateful smile. "Thanks." But then, Dyani had a rather depressed look in her eyes. Unable to leave it alone, Haru walked over to where Dyani sat and gently wrapped her arms around her. "There ya go." She hoped that Dyani wasn't a person who disliked hugs.
