I mean, it's been months since Rue, I think the devs username was, said he would put it in Gaia Labs. I was just wondering whatever happened with that? sweatdrop As it turns out, the header was slow to load for a lot of users. He's busy with another project at the moment but should be able to enable the feature on Gaia Labs later.

July 17th, 2018: Lanzer Albern Puppy Features - HeaderAwhile back, a new header was introduced, and taken down rather quickly. There was mention of it going into Gaia Labs, but that still hasn't happened yet. any ETA on when it will happen? No ETA yet, but I'll ask Ruse to have that lab feature added ASAP.

I've used this site back in 09 and i can't tell you enough how much i love and appreciated everything! But I've recently returned and the site is still similar to back then, to me it seems like everything is focused on making new outfits and recolors. I'd just want to know if anything like that will be planned for the future/ near future. Currently we are making massive changes in migrating our server operation to cloud computing, but Codemonkey had been hard at work building HTML5 versions of popular features from dress up to Gaia Towns. It will take a while but I hope to have a fully fledged mobile app in the near future. I'd like to get that ready before changing the look and feel of the current website.

Quote: FEATURESIn the past, it's been promised to me and later on others that pagination would be added to the top of the page in inventory, trade and mp selling page, but they never were. This is a gentle reminder it still needs to be done and I would be very happy once it was as it would save me a ton of scrolling. I've worn out the scroll wheels on two sets of mouse in just 5 months due to all the scrolling just opening RIGs and working with inventory alone, plus lots of trades. That's a LOT of scrolling that would no longer be needed with such a simple change. Thanks. We tried adding pagination to the top, but the page was setup in a strange way where the items and pagination data are loaded after the tabs, so I wasn't able to add pagination above the tabs the way I wanted to without re-writing a lot of the system. I had to defer that feature to a later time. Sorry.

Are there still plans to remove those ones? Hi there, Once you log out, there is no way for the system to know ads shouldn't be displayed since that is linked to your account being logged in. Cloud computing simply means that we won't be buying our own computers. Everyone will be able to access all parts of Gaiaonline after the move.

It was based on the contract we had signed with our provider, they got upset that we were moving away and didn't offer to extend our service for even one more day. scream Lanzer Canicuss Is there a reason I get this error "502 Bad Gateway" if I try to reach Gaia in a regular browser but I can get there if I use an incognito browser? Some servers seem to get nasty errors randomly, we're trying to put in monitoring systems to quickly identify them and remove those servers. codemonkey37179 I x I - A D R I A N I've been away for 10 long years and glade to be back. I notice the site hasn't change much, I guess if it isn't broken don't fix it right. Anyways my question is, do you guys see yourself updating the site for modern times? A lot of time site still run on flash. I can't get to my store, sell, mail box categories, etc without typing in the actual URL. This is happening in both my phone and PC. Is there a fix to this? Please open the Developer / Javascript console on your browser and see what errors show up. We don't see this error in the office but can definitely help you figure out what's wrong I'm having this issue too and many of us. My browser is firefox. I think I did what you asked here is what appeared... I'm not sure if that's a dumb question or not, but I'm not much of a tech person. Sure no problem. On most browsers you can open up the dev tools by using the F-12 key. You are looking for a tab called console. If there are errors then they will be in red text. Try it now, and let me know if you have any problems/questions. codemonkey37179 You can also try clearing your cache (control-shift-delete) and only check the cache files option.

November 20th, 2018: Lanzer Halcyone ter Avest Misc: BugsApologies if this has been addressed, I haven't attended an Ask The Staff in months sweatdrop but whenever I log in on the Gaia homepage, even with my correct password, it tells me that it's wrong and the second time is when I can log in. This has been happening way before the massive password reset. Is there a reason for this? Problems like this shouldn't happen, but I'll check on your account an see if there are abnormalities. Our old search engine was no longer supported so we needed to make some big changes. They should be fixed next week. Please make sure to show your entire screen, not just a part of it. Hi Jak Bauer, Unfortunately, I don't have an IMGUR account to host the screenshot on if I took a screencap of what I am seeing, but what I see every time is basically the first page a person sees after they have logged into Gaia using the usual homepage and in the bottom right corner, their is a picture of the NPC Moira saying to log in. Pretty sure this is what they are talking about? Screenshot of log-in pageOoooooooh! OK. Yeah, that actually is as intended, it is not broken. Lanzer We've recently made some changes so that we don't block non-logged in users from our content, but if that's causing login issues, we will make the right changes to make sure everyone can log in correctly. sweatdrop

I prefer seeing the status comments at the top of the page by the suggested content box pushes it down and is just in the way. I see what items are on sale through announcements anyway so it is useless to me. We'll add that to the todo list.

We had been re-designing a new registration page for mobile, and will carry forward the new design for the web site once we have a chance
