Just a simple tag could suffice.  With the new feature we're building all Gaians can help add tags that they see fit, including recolors, exclusive and such. Lanzer heavens exiled Features - Avatar Builder (Ghosting)Would it be possible to have a 'friends only' setting for ghosting? Like allowing only friends to ghost? Currently ignored users are still allowed to ghost and this might be something I'd be interested in. If people I ignore are not allowed to see my posts or threads, they should not be allowed to ghost me or my inventory. Is that possible to do? Unfortunately avatar display is much harder to block, as once an avatar is saved, it is stored on another server and served much like any other images on Gaia. Besides, it's not that hard to create a new account to check out somebody...

August 8th, 2017: Lanzer Cookieconquerer Features (?)Any chance we can have the Avis we build in the builder be exported to our customize avatar screen? I know some items if we work outside of our inventory won't show up, but that could just be similar to when you sell an item on one of your favorites, you're told you're missing some items but can equip anyway That is definitely possible. Maybe we can have a way to transfer a look in builder to being an outfit in your inventory.

August 29th, 2017: Lanzer StarIore FeaturesCould Gaia give us the option to favorite the avatars we create in Avatar Builder? A lot of people like sharing their avatar builder creations but they have to do so through image hosting sites. It would be wonderful if we could just add avi builder creations to the favorites system so that gaians can appreciate them without having to rely on image hosting sites or needing to wear/own the outfit prior to faving it. Yeah I wanted to build a feature that allows you to use the avatar builder's setup as a saved outfit. It's in the todo list. Hope I can get around to it soon.

September 6th, 2017: Neko Spenelli ItemsI've noticed there are multiple tags for [animal] items. Paws, Paw, Pawstamp, Animal, that I can think of right now. If you search "animal wings" "paws wings" "pawstamp wings" and "paw wings" you will see none of them give you the same amount of results. That's expected with "animal" but not with "paws" or "paw". It's just confusing to me, and not time effective because I need to search all the terms to make sure I'm not missing something. I don't get why there are so many different tags that mean one thing. Is there just one term that will always show every [animal] item? Hello! Pawstamp is the correct tag. Paws and/or Paw are secondary tags to describe the base, similar to the Animal tag. However, it still shows when I go to my avatars that she still has my avatars on her favorites and I can actually view her favorites as well, despite having her on ignore. Is there a way to have it so we can not view those on our ignore list and if we put a user on ignore to automatically drop our avatars from their favorites? I'll look into having ignore settings be applied to collections. Not sure if it's feasible as the feature is designed for the content viewer, not the target.

When you type in a tag, if it has multiple pages you can only access the first one currently, it glitches with any other. Oh we'll check on that ASAP. It's supposed to scroll I think. Lanzer StarIore FeaturesCould Gaia add the option for people on my friends list to use my ghosting ID in avatar builder while continuing to keep ghosting disabled to other members of the public? There are many instances where my friends would like to view the contents of my inventory for reasons such as gifting, vending, and item lending but I don't want to keep ghosting enabled because I do not feel comfortable with complete strangers viewing my inventory. I don't have much experience with the avatar builder but I can look into it. Shouldn't be too tough of a feature to add.

Its hard to get everything the way I would like it under the option we have now. I am hoping for this idea to become a 2nd way to organize your inventory. With the drag and drop ability. That's something we can look into after the mobile app is released. We will probably do an overhaul on the web side after the release.

October 18th, 2017: Lanzer Riku The Devoted Avatar Builder Features Can the feature for the default mouth items that we are able to pick from in our inventories be added into avatar builder for options as well? We need that access because its really hard to get right mouths and eyes for when we are ghosting avis for other people. I know their are mods. But a lot of the time when I use a mod someone has they don't like the mod oddly enough. So I feel we'd have better choices for the faces if the default options were available in Avatar Builder too. The same ones we can pick from in our inventory. I see. I'll add that to the feature list for Avi Builder.

October 24th, 2017: Lanzer dweebz FeatureBecause there is a vast number of items on GaiaOnline, and the attempt to replace Tektek with the ghosting feature is what we have to settle for, is there a way you can implement a color selector on the avatar builder? Seeing all those items is very overwhelming when using that feature. And since everything is getting a recolor is only seems necessary. And no, I do not mean, me typing blue and all the blue items on Gaia show up because that will never work. I mean a drop-down menu showing colors/color schemes. ex. Red, Blue, Swampberry, Breezy etc. Thanks guys, dweebz After Halloween we should push for the release of the item tagging system which should help with item searches. We do have a long way to go and I'm sorry for the long wait. pyawakit seaiiris FeaturesWould it be possible to make new avatar bases such as one that's feminine bodied and flat-chested? I know theres alot of gender neutral avatar items now and as someone who's agender I really really appreciate that but sometimes you want your avi to show some skin except theres boobs that you don't want and the masculine avatar base just isn't as, imo. I don't think we could make an entire new base per se with the over 100k items non compatibility issues, but i think we could make a torso mod with something along those lines? We'll look into to see what we can do! Excellent suggestion!

October 31st, 2017: Lanzer Wimsicat Features Are there any plans to update the Avatar Builder, to make things run smoother and just generally make it easier to use? I would love it if we could save "dream avatars", look at other creations under a tagging system, etc. The feature currently feels bulky, and I have had countless loading issues, items not showing up when I search for them, as well as occasional crashes. Yes there will be bug fixes and updates for avatar builder. If anything specific is not working, please let me know so I know exactly what to address when working on the avatar builder.

It'd be very much appreciated! smile We plan to add pagination to the outfits page pretty soon, and probably add a way to move certain outfits to certain pages, or mark outfits as favorites and add a favorite filter. Lanzer Nanzzy-chan Misc... I guess?Did y'all change something in the way avatars are saved or something? Lately all the avatars around the site look seriously oversaturated on my end at least @_______@;; It seems to be fine and normal in dressup, outfit slots, item thumbnails, marketplace preview, etc, but my avatar in the header, and all avatars around the forum are weird @3@ Some screenies of how it looks on my end: It's fairly subtle there, but it's so much worse with certain colours, especially poppy which just turns into a red blob gonk We're in the middle of upgrading all our servers to newer versions. There is a chance that some of the tools which convert avatars from 24bit color to 8bit color might also be updated and could create different result. Another situation where this would happen is if you equip different more items, or different items on your avatar. Since there are only 256 colors available, if other items take up colors in different parts of the spectrum, it would leave less colors for red, for example. We can look into the tool once the server migration is complete
