"Oof!" She gasped when he flopped near her, which didn't ultimately affect her but was still within reasonable distance to have her vocalizations be plausible enough.
"Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" She continued, though her hands had fallen away in favour of curling into as tight a ball as she could manage, as close as she could get to his side and under his jacket. Then, stubbornly, she went incredibly still to fake sleeping...and, within seconds, she went limp for real, out cold.

Xavier made a small snort of amusement as she huddled closer, tucked against his side; for a few moments he thought she wouldn't actually fall asleep, that she would be too restless and too hyped up - but in the next second she was out cold, and some of the tension eased from his shoulders.
He watched her for a few long minutes after she'd fallen asleep, making absolutely sure that she was not still awake; and then, biting his lower lip, Xavier twisted a little, ducked his head, and pressed the lightest and quickest of kisses to her cheek before pulling away hastily.
Then he promptly turned and burrowed his face into his arms and the blankets and tried to sleep too and not think about what he'd just done.
