Again She Visits
Four for four, she says mentally.
It seems like a strangely docile conversation. She makes a mental note to buy soda or just water instead.
"Mmkay. Just let me know." Her smile betrays the way she feels- it's not something easily contained. "Tacos? Mm- yeah sure. If that's what you want." She was sure SOMEONE was bound to have the ingredients for it. Chel wasn't a walking taco factory after all. "You didn't say which movie you wanted."

Again She Visits
Her smile made the decision for him. He didn't want another V incident.
"Lord of the Rings," both Jack said and the giant cheered at the same time. He rubbed his head. "Owain's practically stomping around in my head to see it now; I feel a headache coming on." Well, Owain was also giddily stomping around for other reasons that were not at all subtle, but it still contributed to the so-called headache. "Cook what you want. I can bring something like popcorn."

Again She Visits
"Tell Owain he's welcome~" she purred. The more she heart of Owain (however little it was) the more she liked him. She loved Tenebrae to pieces, but he was so silent most of the time.
Popcorn? Was Jack maybe not good at cooking ...?
"Now get out," she said, with a fake sense of annoyance, "Yer ruinin' my beauty rest."

Bartering System
"I told you, I don't have any ******** money right now."
This nerd was pissing her off.
"I'll give you one of them for either their monetary cost or something of equal value."
This was why she hated nerds.
"Fine, ********. I'll give you my N64 collection. I got Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong Racing and Mario Kart. Bet your a** it cost more than your shitty DVDs."
The guy contemplated it for a moment and said, "Fine."
Chel gave an exasperated "FINALLY." She then said, "I'll go get them. Be right back. Don't ******** move."
She ran upstairs and yanked the cartridges from the device, tossing them into a bag. Back downstairs she thrust the bag into the trainee's face and said, "Now give 'em." The nerd examined the cartidges while Chel looked on impatiently. He disappeared into his room for a moment and came back with four DVDs, all properly runic'd.
"Thanks," she said, examining the cases. They were in good condition. At the very least this guy was honest.

Free Time
Well Chel was booked for the next two weeks. She'd agreed to take over some douchebag's duties in exchange for grocery money. Tacos weren't going to magically appear.

I've Never Been to China
Pod duty is boring. She's covering for that slob. She doesn't like pod duty, because no one ever wakes up on her shifts, and she has way too much time to think.
The figure relieves her of such burdens. She is whisked away to China. On a busy street, no one notices one odd figure. It is nice to blend in for a while. To merely be without having to exist.
She finds a bench and lays down. Most think she is just another homeless person. The sounds of the city are a blissful symphony to her ears. She feels apart of something larger.
