The sudden wash of chaos from all sides nearly sent Ida into heaves as her eyes flew wide.

They were here... The hospital! She had to call Chariklo, it was time to set her carefully laid plan into motion and hope to god everyone kept their heads about them.

Sending her signal required powering down and in a flash of falling petals, Ida was once more a drab civilian woman in worn out scrubs. Slender hands fumbled for a small flip phone and Orah hit the speed dial 1 to call the Dark Mirror Princess she was depending on. Please, god, Chari... Know what this means, I don't have time to explain... she held the phone to her head only long enough to hear it ring a few times and as soon as she heard the connection click over, she gave desperate cry.

"They're here! Get to the hospital!" Orah shouted at her phone before she napped it shut and stuffed it into her pocket. Out came the gold and purple pen in its wake and she was running for the door even as petals surrounded her and swaths of fabric and feathers fell around suddenly bare feet.

"Hver! Ganymede! Hospital!" Ida called for those she knew, casting around for others she could drag along after her. There were so many auras... Keeping them away from the Oasis long enough for an evac was going to be a challenge. "Naer!"

Kerberos very, very rarely felt anything akin to excitement anymore, but he was practically bubbling over with it at the knowledge that finally, finally they would be allowed to strike at the heart of Order. (And oh, he would love slaughtering them all - Kerberos was never one for leaving an enemy alive when murder was a possibility, these days.)

And once the order was given, the Ascended General carried himself to the middle of the little Order meeting they were breaking up. As when they had cornered and captured Kairatos, his introduction was no more and no less than his magic.

"Asphodel's Requiem," the Ascended declared, and his filed of black, dead false flowers grew under his feet, blooming out to touch anyone he could with crippling despair.

Break their morale, and break them.

Asphodel's Requiem!

Sailor Kerberos says the name of his attack and spreads his arms, and in a radius of ten feet around him, a field of asphodel flowers grows up. Anyone, Chaos or Order, within the radius except Kerberos experiences crippling grief and hopelessness. In addition, the affected characters see a vision of someone they care about dying or dead. If they attempt to interact with this vision, they will find it insubstantial and untouchable, and the illusion will vanish, but the feelings of grief and hopelessness otherwise induced by the attack will remain for the duration (as they're separate from the illusion itself). This attack lasts for 40 seconds. Sailor Kerberos can use this attack once per battle.

Eternal Thraen

It would come so- a strike of volume all around them while they had to discuss instead if act. what leaving come from this will be meager indeed to call names and sorrows to the skies, emptied slowly, then all at once of all her bearers- daughters, sons, and others. We haven't tears enough for these sorrows.

Quenton pulled his pen, tossed one of his knives on their table for use. It gave Faust a moment to disembark from the sparkles in the henshin before he retrieved the knife again.

"Members of the Guard, now is our hour!" . They had worked together for years. They knew each other's magic. At least some of their purposes had come painfully clear - see those out who retreated, hold the line, end who they could.

And he needed distance, shifting away from the whole of the group to break the charge and accept it, "2's, Faust!"

A call of which magic to warn there would also be vines.

Already in uniform, already standing, Næryofjord brought his hammer to hand while his eyes went immediately to Hvergelmir near Dionysia. Please stay safe. But that was never our expectation, was it? Lo, there, and let us see our forefathers and foremothers, and join them in honor if the call to us. At least I was here when it came. I can see you one more time. Where is Kairatos? Our fierce friend...Themiscyra, Tanais...maidens of blood.

Come, Mars. Come to war.

"Ja, Ida, I hear!"

If nothing else, he could geas and who thought to attack those of the hospital- the princesses, hver, or the wounded.

Sheer, unadulterated panic seized Chariklo's heart as she reacted to Orah's quick message. Moving with a sped that she never would have thought possible, she snapped her own phone shut, shoved it back into her fuku and replaced it with her mirror compact. With only a touch on concentration, she sent out an all points to any Dark Mirror that her babbling mind could think of.

"Remarque, Leto, Damocles, Tantalus, Cruithne. We need a message relayed to any Dark Mirror not siding with the Negaverse. Camp is under attack. Cru and Tanty know the location. Trust their judgement and listen to them. Camp needs evac. There are kids there!"

Unspoken was the sick fear and message that Amytis was there with their own babies. She couldn't see Leto stopping to herd a lot of kids and old folk to safety, but she might be willing to fight. Or at least, not actively work against them.

Orah had said the hospital, she as she flipped to her Princess form, she threw herself into a nearby mirror and ran for all she was worth. Bursting out into the Oasis mirror, the tall Dark Mirror didn't bother with the protocol. Instead, she ripped through the curtain, screaming for anyone who might be around to start moving their asses.

"This is not a drill, people! Let's ******** move!"

Glancing around, she tried to spy Faust, knowing that he'd be able to debrief her quickly. Not to mention she found the fuzzbutt's presence soothing. Like now, when she was crazed with worry. The fact that she couldn't find him meant he was out there somewhere, probably fighting. Most likely causing a hell of a lot of trouble for their ambushers. With a silent prayer, she wished him luck and turned to start organizing who she could while she waited for Ida to get there.

----------------------------

Cruithne was frozen as she stared at her compact, listened to Chariklo's orders. The Camp was being attacked? That was impossible! How could the NEgaverse have known? But clearly, they did know. Which meant that time was a valuable commodity in seriously short supply now.

Pulling herself together, she began speaking intot he compact, setting up the relay that her foster mother had ordered.

Without having to really think, she rattled off the locations of every correctly sized mirror within the hospital and hoped that this wouldn't come back to bite them all in the a**. The Oasis was the jumping point for the evacuation. One that she knew Chariklo had begged to start the moment the rumors had surfaced. Still, such thoughts wouldn't help. It was time for action.

And though Cruithne wasn't a warrior by any means, she could still do her part and help ferry. Or something. Taking a moment to send up a soft prayer to her gods, she ran to a place where she knew there were mirrors she could use and ran through the first one she saw. Just don't let me be too late, she thought.

-----------------------------------------

Nearly humming with anticipation and sheer glee, Haumea didn't bother with pep talks or orders. He simply surged forward, delighting in the fear he saw in those Order forces gathered. Oh Mother Metallia, he thought, truly this will be a glorious night. Glancing around, he tried to locate any of his 'siblings' visually. He knew they were close. He wanted them to stay together. Fight as one.

Kill as one, he sent the thought rippling through the connection they all shared. Brothers/Sisters/Other/Selves, it is TIME.

When Faust surmounted Thraen's shoulder once more, he dug in with claws while the eternal descended into battle. The call felt old and familiar, much like routine drawn between two longstanding friends, and Faust leapt from shoulder to sprint out of memorized range of the magic. While an agent sought to impale him, Faust darted as best he could to lure any who sought his death toward the flowering patch of vines and sleep.

And in his peripheral, whether auric or visual, he felt the presence of Princess Chariklo while she burst into battle. "Chariklo!" He called, though could provide nothing more, with agents tailing.

He knew, already, that this battle would not end in their favor.

He knew that Thraen knew it too, in all those years spent paired up in hunts into the city. And in that moment, in running toward the thicket around the corner of a pitched tent, he wondered how long ago they realized that they lost the fight for good. How much of it, how much of all of this, was just acting out the routines in ignorance of the end? It saddened him, but he brushed the thought away to protect his resolve.

He would see this through to the end.

A harsh yowl of particular tone would notify Thraen of the number of officers tailing, and thus prepare him for their charge. A quick redirect afforded by claws dug into grass let Faust nimbly dodge any grasp of plant while they drew toward the agents.

The wave of Chaos hit them, and Scylla felt her blood freeze in her veins. Others sprang into action around her, and the Eternal clenched her fist around the heavy weight of her Crystal in her hands. The Black Spot was a lovely, useless little extra- but she didn't want to know what ability someone else might gain if this crystal fell into their hands.

Her eyes darted around- women, children, this was their camp. This was the center of their resistance. She could give them minutes, but with this many enemies around them, it was hardly likely to be enough. Still- wasn't this just what she'd said she was willing to do? Fight? Fleeing now, abandoning the innocents- way to suck, right Jada?

In roaring he shall rise, Scylla remembered, and she reached for her planet's power, felt it shake through her with the howl of a hound released, poised and finding the scent. It just sought direction, and her eyes frantically looked for the right people to focus her Hunger on.

A battle was the last thing on Remarque's schedule. He didn't want to be there—he didn't want to fight.

But this was an obligation that might have secured his survival. The survival of his allies. Of his loved ones.

He had heard rumors that the Negaverse had information on Order's locations, but he hadn't thought it was meant to be anything more than a scare tactic. But he must have known he was only deceiving himself. In a way, he had expected the call.

Just not tonight.

There were still things to take care of, things he couldn’t just abandon recklessly. But there were those that he needed alive, for now. And so, he had spoken to Raven. And then he had powered up. And then he went to the hospital.

He did not want to betray his façade of neutrality or disinterest in the war; he did not want to be a target of the Negaverse. He was cautious in his movements, intent to keep as far away from anyone who would report his actions. There were other Dark Mirror Senshi here, though—the Court's fate was sealed. If the Negaverse had not seen them as enemies before, they would now.

Whether they were fighting or not, whether they saw him or not.

This changed everything.

Heaving a sigh of relief as both Cruithne and Remarque arrived, Chariklo reached out to clasp both by the shoulders and smile a little manically.

"Y'all have impeccable timing. If you can both start shuttling the kids and old folks out, that'd be grand. Cruithne can show you where to go, Remarque," she added quickly, realizing that though she and Cruithne and Amytis had practiced this, the Dark Mirror Prince had not.

Doing her best to smile encouragingly, she drew their attention to a set of nearby flares.

"If we can finish the evac and get everyone out, we're supposed to set that one off," she explained. "If the Negaverse get this far first, we set off the other."

She paused, clearly torn between the need to get as many people out as possible and the desire to find Ava and the twins. Thankfully, that last was easy enough to fix as she caught sight of her wife and with a nod of apology to the others, darted towards the other woman, sweeping her up and planting a worried kiss on her forehead.

"The babies are clear?" she asked breathlessly. "Can you help Cru and Remarque get more kids out? I have to get to Faust and help the defenders... I... Be safe. My sun, my moon, my starlit sky."

Voice giving out for a moment, Chariklo kissed her wife again before darting in the direction where she'd heard the cat's voice call out to her. A pang of guilt twisted in her gut as she hunted for the cat within the chaos. Sure, she could be helping with evac, but she was better as a fighter. Remarque was smart and organized. Once he got the location from Cru, he'd have that line hustling.

"Faust! Dammit, fuzzbutt, where are you?"

------------------------

Cruithne turned to Remarque as Chariklo ran and arched an eyebrow inquiringly at him.

"It isn't too hard to get to," she murmured, refering to the location of the emergency site. It might be a good idea to have Lesath and your daughter move there as quickly as possible. I don't think that they," she jerked her head towards the crowd of attacking bodies, "are going to like finding us here."

Even as she spoke, she was gathering up children and getting them into some semblance of order before taking them through the mirrors set up in preparation for this event.

General Jarosite advanced with the rest of his comrades, a smirk on his face. He stayed close to Painite. Her joy was rather infectious and he found himself elated that this was happening. It was a long time coming. These traitors and white mooners had hid too long and now they were cornered. And they would bleed for their crimes.

"General Painite, let's have some fun," he said to the small general with a grin, brandishing his short swords. Such a wonderful day for killing.

---

There was a long since missing face that popped up from one of the corners of the room. Markings glowed along her skin, long bands of gold color that snaked from her eyes over her cheeks to her chin and along each joint of her arms and legs. Not that the later could be seen in her outfit, of course. Short blonde hair was cropped close to her ears still, though one long braid hung from behind her left ear. Her right arm held a small circle shield, while both held chained gauntlets. The Knight's face was grim and she fluffed her shoulders, shifting the nonexistent wings on her back.

Transcended Bifrost Knight had come home to gather supplies and found herself trapped. No amount of calling her wonder could take her back. She was officially trapped on Earth. Now she was trapped in a Chaos raid where probably many people were going to die. The tattoos flared briefly and she stepped out of her corner flinging her shield and chain out in front of her.

"Bifrost Siege Defense!" A rippling energy shield billowed out from the metal disk for a good ten feet on both sides of it. "Get behind the shield!"

---

He did not want to be here. He wanted to be in the safe house, teaching children how to read and do math. He did not want to be here. Yet like Remarque, here he was. Hydrus tried to keep to his Prince's side but he knew it wouldn't be long before both sides jumped him. He may spend all his time teaching young ones, but Hydrus wasn't stupid.

A lot of people were going to die.

His court with them.

"What do you need me to do?" he said to Remarque, glancing at the commotion.

---

In the back of the room Andronicus watched. She'd been pulled here by the energy that pulled everyone else of Chaos, but she was not on the side of Chaos. Nor, in that, was she on the side of Order to be honest. She'd found her neutrality again, and this time, she was going to act like it. The General steeled herself and watched around for who was active. Her eyes fell on Kerberos for a moment before she started moving around the outskirts of the crowd, watching.

She stood on a very thin wire, balanced between both sides.

Andronicus had no intention of staying on that wire any longer. The opportune moment was needed though. So she waited and watched.

Sabina didn't even think twice. She powered up on the spot. There were no worries if they saw her civilian form. If they did, screw it. They could kiss her a** for all she cared. This is what she had been preparing for. She knew a battle like this was inevitable.

The first thing her mind went to was the kids. How could they win and save the future if the future was killed in the process? They had to get the children out of here and anyone else incapable of fighting. There were already others there with the children. Thank the moon! Someone already seemed to have an evacuation plan in order for them. She approached the two, that she had never met before, "Page Seireitei," she dipped her head in greeting. "Here to help and then I'll come back here to fight."

In a fleeting thought, she remembered Fai. Her eyes became huge with worry and she scanned the chaos that lay before her for her friend. Under her breath she whispered, "Oh Fai, please be safe or see me, see us, come here where we can get you to safety."

When Megrez felt the veritable wall of Chaos auras enclose around the camp, she gasped aloud and jolted stick-straight. Dammit, no! They're here! They're really here! As the various Negaverse agents made their entrance, Megrez was left momentarily overwhelmed, unsure of where to go first. Soon, she thought she had found a viable set of goals when she heard a certain Eternal's call to the Guard: Thraen. Thraen was a good, strong fighter, she knew that well. But surely she could assist him in taking down as many Negaverse soldiers as he could? It would be a way to contribute quickly till someone more powerful made their appearance and she could work on removing them from the picture.

Charging to near where Thraen was (but not too close; she didn't want to get caught in his magic), she called out, "I'm coming in to help! Watch your fire, and I'll watch mine!" Not that she needed to watch her fire too much; all of her attacks save her Eternal attack were chiefly single-target in nature. Her Eternal attack could clear a crowd at the cost of most likely getting her allies egged too, though if there was a higher ratio of enemies to allies it might be worth using in this situation. Again, it would be best to wait till someone more powerful entered the picture.

Fai couldn't feel aura's like the others, and thus when the Negaverse attacked, she immediately moved to power up...but couldn't, and cursed the face that she couldn't. Being pregnant had it's up and downs. She started to usher others away, before catching glimpse of her two dark mirror friends.

"Remarque! Hydrus!" She waved them over. "The refugee. Take as many as you can to there?" Unfortuntely she couldn't leave the area since she wasn't powered up. And she needed to get back to Safe haven. "Leave through the woods, Remember Hydrus!"

Among the crowed, she scanned for Sabina, but the page was already powered up and she couldn't see her from there. She saw Chariklo too, but wasn't about to distract the woman from her duty.

She wanted Magiore, and to go back, as such, she was stuck here.

It wasn't very often that Leto felt the call of her mirrored compact these days. Typically the Dark Mirror had kept from calling to her, knowing full well that she was in MirrorSpace and unlikely to come out. Her eyebrows knit as she stood in silence for a moment, deciding whether or not to bother with whatever message she had gotten. After the meeting that took place, it was clear where Leto stood in this war... What could anyone possibly have to say to her at this point?

She summoned her compact to the palm of her right hand and flipped it open to hear Chariklo's panicked voice. Staring blankly at the small mirror, Leto froze. It was time to make a decision and the idea of doing so had her in a panic herself. Closing the compact, Leto moved towards one of the full length mirrors on the wall and emerged on the rooftop of her old apartment building. Powering down quickly, she pulled her cellphone out of her pocket.

Her thumbs moved across the keypad quickly as she sent one quick message to Clarisse. No matter the outcome of this, she needed to make sure that Clary knew how she felt.

Text to Clary
I love you.

Quinn starred down at the screen for a moment, took a deep breath, and pocketed it. She knew that Clary wouldn't see the message any time soon as she was likely powered up herself, whether at this ambush or not, but it comforted her to know that it was sent. Just in case.

Pulling her henshin pen back out, she called out to her asteroid and powered back up into Eternal Sailor Leto. Pushing herself into her Princess form, she pulled her compact back out, remembering that Chariklo mentioned that some Dark Mirror Senshi knew the location of the camp, and called to Cruithne's compact.

"Cruithne. Camp location."

Short and to the point. Leto was of no help in evacuating as she wouldn't be able to move fast enough and her leg made her clumsy. But battle? Battle she could do, because there she could use magic and that is where she thrived.

"Yo! Megrez!" The eternal's debut on the scene proved incredibly priceless at that moment - the ranks of the enemy swelled tremendously against their lesser numbers, and any backup in the fray helped offset their already slim chances to somewhat less so. The cat darted into a tent temporarily to lose an agent in the darkness before shooting back out of a corner not entirely secured.

Finally he managed to dash up to her temporarily, though he kept Thraen in his sights. "You see that general over there?" He huffed out, already short of breath. "That's Painite - she been around for a damn long time, and the Negaverse kinda rallies around her. If you could get in there and- s**t, look out!" Faust cut himself off, dodging in a feline somersault to avoid an arrow shot in their direction. Luckily the marksman was of relatively poor aim, or Faust would've sustained a significant hit.

"Nevermind that for now! Help us break up some of these damn soldiers before they jus' overwhelm our asses!"

"Ach, perfekt," Bischofite grinned to himself when he witnessed Bifrost's display of a significant shield, spanning a good portion of the battlefield in a brilliant display of energy. He approached slowly, still, in measured steps until he saw enough of their siege setting to begin his teleportations. Shortly before he left his position, Bischofite closed his eyes temporarily to allow the nigh intolerable heat of sticky tar roll over all portions of his body. Once the ground was thick with it where he tread, he blinked out of sight.

With each teleport, he drew closer to the battle at hand - closer to the shield bloomed not far from where Order gathered so quietly before. And in his wake came pools of tar, sticky and black in the already dim night. The battlefield would soon become a treacherous place as the individual skirmishes fanned out over often rocky, and occasionally trapped territory.

Another blink, and he knew their facial expressions in the dim din of the fight.
Another blink, and he heard the words of their speech.
Another blink, and he saw the whites of their eyes.

He snarled at Bifrost from beyond her shield, though made no move to attack her - acknowledging her presence was enough for the time being, and he already left a veritable wake of tar pools before his energy for such antics waned. And soon, with little more than a few glances, he recognized an aura rivaling his own in a different flavor of Chaos - and sure enough, there she stood. Chariklo, her wings spread wide in entry to the battlefield, poised for strike against their officers. She lingered near the entrance of a tent marked with a red cross, and that was enough of an indication for him.

Another blink, and he stood feet away from the princess.

A low snarl left his throat and wings while he lashed out toward the princess, claws splayed outward to catch her in a thickened, sticky grip in hopes of dragging her to the ground.

Penthesilea practically charged into the meeting-hall, a gleeful madwoman's giggle escaping her as she did. To her, striking down her former comrades was a particular delight - and she hoped rather much that at least Megrez and Thraen would be there.

And she spotted them, and laughed, but most of interest to her was the cat. She remembered him - and she knew that he would be a very good way to ensure she caught and held the attention of the two people she most wanted.

So she darted in, teleporting the last few feet.

Amytis nodded, an agreement to help ferry, and an acknowledgement that yes, the twins were off the battlefield - safe. She would, even, have done it, and ferried people to safety. In fact, she would have preferred that, because battles were frightening when she wasn't always sure of her voice.

But then Bischofite came, and he was headed for the hospital, and for Chariklo.

No, no no no, not in front of her!

She shoved her wife out of the way, moving as an intercept, and she was caught, certainly, in the hot, sticky web of the General-King's tar. A small, choked scream escaped her - the most she could do, these days.
