Bartholomew couldn't help but smile a bit more when Rojo seemed content with Bart's attempt at Spanish. He had worried that it would have been rather bad but, apparently not. Bart was very glad to see his language lessons paying off. He laughed at the response of Rojo's family. "Thank you, thank you. It was definitely very fun." He paused for a brief moment to straighten up his suit a bit before continuing. "That's great to hear, it seems you have quite the fan base to, both here and at home. I'm sure you'll do very well! Thank you, thank you. I do hope so. Regardless, I am greatly enjoying partaking in the school events that I can partake in. I very much look forward to participating further, but I'll take what I can get." Again, he paused for a moment, straightening his tie it seemed, before continuing "So, Rojo my friend, may I ask what sets you appeart from the other candidates?"

Rojo had her at more parties. She could totally trust a guy who literally had his face painted for this stuff okay.
Heck, it didn't even matter that her copy cat skills weren't exactly up to snuff even though she only seemed to roll high when it was bad for her sigh.
"You n' me, let's party sometime, win or lose," Piper told him after the awful duel (banjos were Jack's punishment for some ancient sin she was sure). A starry temporary tattoo was slid towards the boil. "Good luck on your campaign thingie, spook~"

Thins were winding down now as elections were slowly crawling towards the end. Meixiang had not visited as many booths as she would have liked but she made it a high priority to visit Rojo's at the very least. She grabbed a few pieces of candy and a hug coupon, cause hugs were great and she loved giving hugs as well as receiving them. So she would hold on to it for a later time when she really REALLY needed a hug. A balloon. Ok maybe two. Oh my glob was that confetti? The ghoul was going to start running out of pocket space in her sleeves if everyone kept this up with all the neat little trinkets and goodies at their booths. Anymore and she would probably start to make a lot of noise when she moved! That photobooth cut out was pretty cut as well. She was safe to say impressed by all the activities and things the Undead had at his booth. He certainly wanted to make a good impression and be memorable as possible. "Good luck Rojo! Its getting close to that time, I am super excited for the end~" After giving her wishings of luck, she quickly made her way back into the direction of her own booth. But not after first checking out the banjo on the way out. He was enthusiastic about that as well. Meixiang would certainly have to get to know the boil more after this. She had met so many interesting personalities and creeple.

Having visited a handful of other booths, Lock was feeling somewhat more confident in talking about the political scene at Amityville. It was quite interesting, seeing how each candidate dealt with the competition. Andrew had chosen an ad hominem attempt. Estel was going for humble servitude. Piper- well Piper he was unsure what her attempt was, but she was certainly doing her best at it.
Still, he had yet to form a complete view. He'd only seen a few candidates, and while his knowledge of the situation was vast, it could always be improved.
One booth struck him as particularly standing out- a loud partying booth displaying itself relatively obnoxiously. It had an obscene sign, which made Lock automatically dismiss this "Rojo" fellow from the running. Vulgarity was never a tactic to be used, even in jest. It always backfired in the end.
However, Lock and his father (whom he had learned to love political debate from) had always had a policy of hearing out any and every side to a story. Research was at the heart of politics- knowing your candidates, the issues and more was just as important as being present to sign your name on the ballot. After all, without an educated public, democracy wasn't possible.
With such lofty ideals in mind, Lock approached the booth. He dared not take any of the "swag" being offered (neutrality was key in a healthy voter!) but instead turned his attentions to the somewhat festive booth. At the very least, Lock could say that if decorations could win the war, Rojo would take the gold.
It was more important that Rojo's political assertions were backed up by such a booth though! "Ah yes, hello." He stared at where he assumed the skeleton boil's eyes would be and said, "Would you mind telling me your political platform? What would you do if elected public relations?" He emphasized the word public to make sure Rojo knew just how serious he was.

The student...was a skeleton. And it still moved.
how did that even work?
Sludge was confused, because he was pretty sure you had to have things like organs and mushy stuff that made you move, but Rojo looked like he was all bones.
Xenomorph was way confused, but he still seemed interested in the banjo Rojo was playing, and decided to have a go.
Even if he was a little dense, he was somehow able to play a good enough tune that Pete seemed to like.

Naturally, Ignatius decided he would visit some of the other booths next, one of which being the skeleton's with excellent rhythm.
Considering his booth seemed to be a bit of a party, that wasn't in the least bit surprising to him. What was even less surprising was the fact that the skeleton with rhythm also had a music game--of course he did, he had some serious rhythm and beats--but the fact that it was a game of banjos did catch him a bit. Weren't banjos typically played by demons? It seemed like a demon thing. Of course, that could just be a stereotype. What did he know about banjos? ... Or demons?
Always up for a challenge, even when he was poised to lose, Ignatius grabbed a banjo and strummed it dramatically, eyes narrowing as he became the most serious person in Halloween at that solitary moment.
"You're on."
Apparently Ignatius also had some serious banjo rhythm. In fact, his performances were worth a stunned silence and two different rounds of applauses, which made Ignatius whoop. Naturally, he loved victory, though he shook Rojo's hand after he was done playing the banjo and handed it back to the boil. "We should play again sometime."
Because, apparently, banjo-playing was a skill that Yildirim Ignatius Svarog had now.xSmerdle o hai Also, I guess I won two Tier 1s? XD I'll take the Bunadine and the Shion please~ sn: seiana

Rojo had been on the verge of zoning out when Sorrow appeared and sparked him back to unlife with a rousing banjo challenge. He nodded respectfully at the ghoul when he won—because he was still awesome at banjos, but maybe he was growing a little more humble about it—and grinned when she appeared to take an interest in his candies. Averting his eyes, or rather, his entire face, he subtly pushed more toward her in case she wanted another handful. The next boil to stop by made Rojo sit back in his chair, though the emotion that accompanied his reaction took him a while to find a name for. Intimidation. Yes. When you possessed the ability to lie in a motionless heap of bones for as long as it took your potential attacker to lose interest, you rarely contemplated that sort of stomach-dropping unease. So why was he doing so now?
Maybe it was the horns.
"You are very welcome!" he said with a slight bob of his head, turning off his phone between competitors to conserve what little battery life it had left.Another student with claws! This ghoul also had horns and a tail, and Rojo was intimidated by her as well, this time with good reason. His piles of candy rapidly dwindling, he replenished them while staring mournfully at the banjo he'd provided for others to play. The strings really were on their last legs.He felt a faint twinge of familiarity at the next ghoul's approach. Something about his hand and the teachers' lounge...
Well, no matter! She was a very good banjo player and that was all that mattered at the moment.
"Thank you! You are way awesome too and I am glad you had fun!" He handed over her prize, then stood to take a break from restringing. He had just finished restringing the banjo when Anna approached, and Rojo smiled at her as she took a seat again. After they had finished playing, she caught him off guard with her question.
"Oh, the election has been very fun, but I do not know if I will win. I certainly hope so, but it is not for me to decide!" He smiled at her when she kissed his cheek. "It has been wonderful playing with you! I hope to see you again soon."He didn't have much time to do more than wave at Mia as she passed, but wave at her he did.The tiny cat boil was the most intriguing guest he'd had all day. Rojo resisted the urge to reach out and poke him as he played.Talk about intimidating.
Rojo tried to keep up, but this boil was even more manic than he himself was. First, he wanted to eat his skull, then he proclaimed himself a tesla coil master, waved at Rojo's phone, and demanded lessons in stringed instruments. It was the first time he had been rendered speechless in a long while.
Suddenly, the calaca remembered what a tesla coil was and where he had seen one recently. Instead of properly responding to anything Van had said, Rojo shouted, "I AM A TESLA COIL MASTER TOO!" and stood there breathing heavily, even though he didn't need to breathe.Face your demons kuro stole the exotic inkjar four posts above you i think you should cage fite Now this was what he had expected a ghost to look like. It was very interesting to examine the differences between this ghoul and Estel, given the opportunity to do so up close. Rojo dueled Emily as well as he could (though his hands were finally beginning to tire), then sat back at her question.
Hurrying past I want to talk to eeeeverrrrryyyyonnneee and because PARTIES, Rojo finally said, "I was born and raised in Muerto, a town built around the Day of the Dead. There are many villages like mine in this world, but I would argue that Muerto is the finest! Our job is to help humans celebrate death, and it is not an easy one. They weep and moan, but we remind them that any time with a loved one is time that was spent well and there are better things to do than grieve. If I can make death look good... imagine what I can do for prom!" Rojo clapped once, scooting to the edge of his seat with a smile. The boil had never been anywhere near the human world, but his town's purpose had been drummed into him since he was a scareling and he could repeat it easily and coherently. As it turned out, it was a decent campaign speech too.Unsure as to whether or not he had answered the ghost ghoul's question to her satisfaction, Rojo turned to smile at Sheelah as she passed, then gave his attention to the familiar jackalope.Truth be told, he didn't know much about anyone who was running for any position, including his own. He had seen them all from afar when they had been setting up their booths, but that was all. Anything he said of himself could have been true of his competition as well.
"I can take orders, I can lead, I can play music and make signs, and I come from a long line of sugar skull crafters. I have also wanted to give something back to Amityville for accepting me ever since I arrived." Rojo grinned.
"And I can remove my limbs!" he demonstrated by popping off his hand and watching it skitter across the booth. He picked up the tattoo, beaming up at Piper as she spoke. "Yes! And thank you!" Surprised to realize that he recalled her as one of the other candidates (it was probably the hair), Rojo said, "You too! Good luck to you too," as he gave her a bag of confetti in return."I am as well!" he said, taking great pains to omit the ghoul's name, even though he wanted to address her properly. He was quite sure he would butcher it quite badly if he tried. "Good luck again!" he said, waving as she turned to go.i'll get to everyone else soon omai <3

The boil's skeletal hand continued dancing through the pile of campaign buttons to his left as the stern, bespectacled reaper approached. Noticing it at the corner of his vision, Rojo lunged to grab it with his other hand, popping it back on and greeting Lock with a wide smile. He pulled his expression back again immediately, his teeth clicking faintly together as he shut his jaws. He had never pondered his political leanings, but he had a decent idea of what he would do if elected.
"I would plan more celebrations!" he replied. "Dances, lighthearted competitions, singing, things to brighten the gloom that sometimes surrounds our school. But my first concern would be to help my fellow council members with their plans. I believe that the one who fills this position is meant to support the team before they explore new ideas." He grinned again, as if unable to help himself.Rojo had never seen a xenomorph before. He stared at Sludge, tilting his head to one side, then brightened when he seemed interested in playing. As worn out as he was, the skeleton still managed a good show, and he smiled and waved at the other boil as he handed over his prize, unaware of Sludge's internal questions about his anatomy. it is a mysterypoke mattix exotic inkjar is gone, but now you have ALL DA SHROOM <3 sorry about the million notifications "Hello!" Rojo exclaimed as Ignatius approached. He'd had a feeling he would see the other boil again, but he hadn't anticipated it would be so soon. He was excited to play along with the elemental, and Ignatius certainly lived up to the promise of his own booth.
Rojo shook his hand once they were done. "That was very good and I would like that very much! Thank you for visiting my booth!"Seiana_ZI i always feel like i force my characters on you but they should totally start a band it would be such a weird one XDDDDD

Bartholomew listened intently to the boil. He thought Rojo's reply was pretty good. Rojo seemed rather well tailored for the position of Public relations- in his opinion at least. After all, the job did entail advertisement and Bart figured Rojo's bright personality would suit him well in such situations. Seeing the boil pop off his hand only further backed up Bart's prior thoughts. He gave a nervous laugh and a nod. "Good, good! You seem like you fit your office very well! I bet your banjo playing will come in handy! Regardless, we'll have together and play some time. As long as you wouldn't mind if I played guitar! I don't own a banjo, although it has been quite a while since I've even played my guitar... I really should get it out again..." He muttered then gave a smile and a shrug. Bart then turned to the table that had Rojo's campaign gear on it, "Would it be alright if I took one?" He figured he already knew the answer, but there was likely no harm in asking.

While booths Yuki had visited had him honestly feeling like maybe he should go have a rest instead of visiting more booths for right now. However, when he heard a curious sound of a banjo playing...
The ghost was wandering up to Rojo's booth, following the sound, and his mood was lifted by the colorful display. Thank goodness for the festive and friendly candidates! Brought out of his funky and kinda gloomy mood, he offered the skeleton a smile to try and mimic the one constantly on the other student's face... Skull? Was a skull still technically a face? Yuki was not positive.
When Rojo scooted forward one of his pins, Yuki picked it up and put it into one of his pockets. "Thank you!" Given the friendly go-ahead to help himself to the gifts at the booth, Yuki collected a few candies as well. Who could pass up free candy? No one, that's who.
He was about to say something about the boil's banjo, but he actually only needed to open his mouth and it was like Rojo just knew what he was going to comment on.
"I'm not a good judge of banjos, but it sounded great to me." Yuki replied, and chuckled in a sort of nervous surprise when the boil inquired about a duel. He even had another banjo. After a long moment of standing there with a dumb, amused grin on his face, he reached out for the instrument. "Why not? Just don't laugh too hard at me when I fail at this, okay?"
And suddenly he had his phone on the tabletop and Yuki heard other voices. "I'm flattered that you're so confident that I'm not about to deafen your loved ones." He chuckled, fiddling with adjusting the banjo in his grasp and experimentally plucking a few notes to get some semblance of swift practice before they began.
He actually didn't do too badly! He grinned, too, when Rojo declared that he won. "Of course! You're much better at this than I am." He offered the spare instrument back, taking the prize he was offered. "Thank you very much. Good luck in the elections! I think you'd be a wonderfully fun person to have on council."
[Not sure if I pick from both Tier 2 and Tier 3 since I rolled two winning matches, or if it's one win per day. So, whichever applies for me, I would love to get the x20 Super Aromatic Mushrooms from Tier 3 or Foxfires Heart and Fatal Crest from Tier 2. Thank you so much for the cute game and great prizes! <3 My minisite SN is Hitsuzen. c:]

"Yes, we should play!" Rojo agreed. "Guitar is no problem at all." He really should have been playing guitar or guitarron himself all of these years, but he had been drawn to the instrument favored by his demon father instead. It had the most delightful twang. "Find me in the Undead dorms and we will see what we can do!"
When Bart asked if he could take some campaign stuff, the skeleton nodded brightly. "Please! Be my guest!"jackiee153 sorry about the wait! i've been feeling gross this week <3 Still inexplicably intrigued by the ghosts he'd met during his campaign, Rojo was all smiles for Yuki as well. It didn't hurt that the boil was good at the banjo too!
"Thank you!" the calaca replied, handing over Yuki's prizes. "If I am elected, I will try to do my best!"Hitsuzen you get all the things! XD thanks for stopping by!

Bart gave him a light smile and a reassuring "I most definitely will. It would be nice to practice with someone else. Hopefully I'll be able to play at your level, it has been quite a while, but I gander it will come back to me pretty easily." Bart took one of the pins shaped like Rojo's head, as he had already gotten a few round pins from the other candidates and variety was good on occasion. "Alright then! Thank you, sir. I should probably leave you so you can talk to some others and such! Best of luck! I look forward to seeing you around." He said with a polite bow before heading off. He was very much looking forward to seeing who made it onto council. Smerdle No worries! I hope you feel better!
