Snalth snarled again as the other brown struck at his neck, pulling away just as his claws connected. That might have been a fatal strike if he hadn't moved and as it was, it would likely scar.
Before he could move to strike at Goroth again, the brown was off, back chasing the gold. Not the smartest tool, but Snalth couldn't fault his desire to chase, to catch, to win. He did too.

Believe me when I say that it would be in your best interests, she sent to Goroth. I will not be gentle with you again.
To the rest, she had said enough for now, given them all acknowledgement at the very least, though some appealed more than others (and everyone appealed more than Goroth, not that that was difficult). But while Magith had to bow out, she yet had stamina left, which she spent on climbing higher, spiraling up. She would have to choose soon, but she wanted more height.
And time, time to see more of what they had to offer. Almost any of them would be a suitable choice, but suitable wasn't good enough.
Banshidheth was still going strong. If she was tiring at all, Rugarth couldn't tell. As only expected of a queen, the largest, strongest, and most enduring of all dragons. A strong Flight made a strong clutch, and only the strongest suitor would sire it.
Rugarth turned up to follow her ascent. He noted the spiral she ascribed in the sky and tried to fly through the center of it in an attempt to get closer. He pumped his wings hard, fighting against the gravity that was trying to pull him away from her.
The gold was climbing now, spiraling up. It would be a good test for them, to see who could follow and who couldn't take the height. This was a good flight, and she should have a good clutch because of it.
Snalth followed her spiraling once, and then twice, following her higher into the air. He was getting closer, but others were still ahead of him.
Brown Gohulmordth 3d20 Strength, 4d20 Speed, 2d20 Toughness

Gohulmordth was definitely not a fighter, and this was getting to be a little too much for the brown, at least for being on the front line of it. He plodded on, however, his eyes focused on Goroth.
Gohulmordth remarked to his rider, who was taking a n** – or two – of his hip flask and trying not to think about how alone he was right now, aside from his dragon which was not the company he wanted.
For that spectacle, he could keep up. He could be patient.
Banshidheth was still climbing and, if he was being completely honest with himself, Acriculeth was beginning to feel the strain of the long sprint towards the stars. It wasn't too bad yet; he had strength and energy remaining but none to spare on anything but the chase. Gaze locked on the gold above him Acriculeth powered onward.
Goroth could feel himself tiring, ever so slightly, but if he was, so were others. The blue had dropped out, not having the stamina to keep up with the larger dragons, though had the Gold wished, she could have chosen, thankfull she had better sense, even a Brown would sire a healthier clutch than a blue would, though he had to admire the much smaller male's pluck.
He strained to gain on the Gold and he kept up... but didn't seem to be getting any closer. He chose not to answer her too, instead just keeping chasing, whether it was because he didn't feel like speaking anymore... or whether he was just wanting to annoy her more, well that was up to HER to decide. He wasn't about to give up ... not until she was caught.
He had missed his chance to once again impress her with his strength. Toroeth was starting to get frustrated. He let his temper show as he attempted to prove how tough he was to her. He Pushed past other dragons to close in on Bandshidheth. Is this showy, tough enough for you? You would push and I respond.
His distance to the gold wasn't decreasing, it was increasing as she flew higher. Ititth wasn't sure if he had impressed her with his flying or annoyed her. The brown could feel his muscles starting to complain though he wasn't willing to quit just yet. Enough of the fancy tricks. He took deep breaths and forced his wings to move faster, attempting to climb to the level of the gold. He had tricks and he wanted to prove he had stamina too.

Goroth was a fool, but for now at least not close enough for her to be bothered with him. There were others closer, like Acriculeth and Toroeth, gaining at last. How much longer could they stay with her? Who would remain once she was ready?
Soon, but not yet. Not quite. Digging into her own reserves, she quickened her pace. How many of them had enough left to do the same?
And now she was going faster, of course. It was her duty to ensure the strongest clutch she could of course so it was only to be expected that she would test them to their limits. Breathing hard Acriculeth forced his wings to work harder and managed to maintain his distance, but not to gain any ground on the gold. ________________
Goroth dug deep as she sped up, he had tp prove his worth to himself now, he didn't particularly care if she clawed him to shreds as long as he caught her,
Despite the length of the Flight, Banshidheth managed to speed up. Rugarth strained his wings to try and increase his own speed, but snorted in irritation when he only managed to keep up.
He beat his wings hard, pushing himself to go faster when the gold sped up. She had a lot of stamina for a gold, but his stamina wasn't that bad either. It was tough keeping up, and he could feel himself falter several times as others passed him.
