Time for some daily exercise! Shiki limbered up a moment before leaping into the wheel to run, it seemed his wounds had mostly healed anyway.

Ugh... urk....

Shiki looked visibly ill after that run. It seemed that someone must have been leaning on the speed gauge or something because he had no way of knowing what the heck was going on with the speed.

Stumbling off the kitsune made a few gagging sounds.

Uru didn't stand directly next to Damien, he was off a bit, kinda lurking but close enough to be considered a part of the conversation. Apparently roommates was a thing here at Amityville, he had always assumed that everyone got their own rooms like he did or that he was really lucky and managed to get a single. In either case, he was learning more and more. However, he was a bit taken back to learn that Bul had dropped out. Why would anyone come here and then drop out?

Not his place to ask. Personal choices were personal, he understood that. Uru simply stood there with arms crossed, his leather jacket with white-furred collar donning his torso. Apparently everyone was fit here.

Uru nodded toward the ghoul, Bul's ghoulfriend, Mei, with a half-smile to show his wonderfully charming white teeth.

The demon's jerked around when a young ghoul came up to him. Leaning down, he turned his head as she reached up to place a hand on the back of his nape as she whispered something into his ear. Uru nodded with each word before giving an affirmative huff. "Go, I'll catch you later." The ghoul giggled as she disappeared into the crowd, her pale-cream hip cape dragging behind her. "And don't get yourself hurt!"

"Sorry, that was my sister. Visiting for the Carnival." Normally, he'd be all over her and how he would never see her again and that he had to spend as much time with her as possible. Until he was smacked upside the head and was told that he was suffocating and that while she was here to see him, she wanted to enjoy herself and not be reminded of her current situation at home. Figures.

While her brother's back was turned, the young Hellhound ghoul hopped onto the large mechanical wheel and began running. The beastie behind her snarled and snapped but she kept running, her skirt trailing behind her just a bit out of the dino's reach, but she ran it and she ran well. She had impeccable form for coming off as delicate as she did, but she could keep up with the best of them. Brenna hopped off as she finished then disappeared into the crowd with a proud smirk.

Uru smiled too.

Dropped out. Something about the fact that Bul had dropped out of the school instead of completed it both disturbed, and thrilled her. She'd held a lot of respect for the sanctity of education.. once.

Now his abject unappreciation of it was like spitting in its face. She would have grinned, if she could.

It's nice to see you've found a place in the world to use your talents. And it's very clear you've been using them. She saw you over his shoulder, Mei. She saw you.

Demi's appearance had a strange sort of familiar feeling settle into her. With them around her, things could almost be like they once were. Almost, but not really at all. She smiled, and leaned in to press her cheek against his. Yes. It's nice to see you, too.

Despite so fondly greeting them, she looked like she was about to bolt at any moment. The festivities, the reminders, the happiness was starting to wear thin on her. She could already feel her mind wandering, to imaginations of what the entire festival would look like burned to the ground.

Wally was exhausted. He laid on the ground where the robot had tossed him. The sport drink landed on his stomach and bounced away with a cartoon-like flair and Wally sighed. He shouldn't have even tried.

"Fire and Brimstone!" Damien yelped and tucked his tail in when the dragon fell like a sack of 70 degrees celcius bricks. "Were you trying to squish me?" It was a valid question to ask, after giving Jericho a tap on the shoulder.

It was about that one time where he gave the boil fools gold, he was sure it was revenge for that.

Shiki gasps as he came too close to a repeat of a few days ago. The beast breaths down his neck as he falls out of the wheel, kind of laughing. Not too bad, got his heart pumping at least.

One by one, more students were coming to the attraction which meant that the Carnival was a hit and that this booth was very good at getting patrons to come to it. Bul was apparently very good at expediting his booth and encouraging contenders, in a rather crude but, admittingly, effective way. Students came and went, some stuck around. Uru stood beside his only friend here ((that he'd actually openly call friend)), when more people came. Uru had never seen them before from dragons to creatures he was unfamiliar with. However, he did notice one thing that they all shared. They all appeared older. The demon was eighteen but he had started this school at a very late age due to complications with his family letting go, but he could see that these acquaintances of Damien's were upperclassmen and graduates.

And for some reason, it nerved him. They were much stronger than him, they were much more experienced. He could learn from them about the school, about life, about everything. Yet, his demon wanted to run. And that was what he did.

Uru placed a hand on Damien's shoulder, leaning in to whisper. "I'll be back."

It was his go-to. It was his stress reliever and something to do that pushes his body but lets his mind wander. The demon ran on the mechanical wheel, the dino behind him was nonexistent in his mind as he ran, his instincts guiding him when something flew past his head as he jerked it back and leaned forward to dodge them. He had left Damien with his friends. Was that a bad thing? He was good, he could totally take care of himself. It wasn't like he was protective of the boil. Whatever. He hadn't seen these creeple in a while, the boil could certainly deal with some time apart from his roommate for a while. Jacking negativity creeping in.

Uru panted as he hopped down from the attraction and made his way back to the group. He was his friend, too, he ain't leaving the monster alone. Uru puffed with pride as he came to Damien's side with a half grin as he completed the booth's challenge with flying colors.
