The one running this booth hadn't seemed too mean yesterday. Shiki timidly walked back to it this time and murmured softly that he wanted to try again. Surely he could do no worse than he had before, granted he hadn't really done that bad either. He still wanted one of those yummy fish. With a flush of pride he watched the ball as it bounced around and finally settled right into a bowl. He had done it on the first try again. Maybe he was going to have some luck today! Quillan took hold of one of the ping pong eyeballs and rolled his shoulder several times before flinging the ping pong eyeball randomly. He watched it fly off the counter, hit the booth's roof, and all around the booth until it landed in the prize bowl. Hollandaise looked dubiously at the ping pong eyeballs thrust into her hands. The Nightmare handing them out was infectiously excited, her smile wide and bright. Humming softly, Hollandaise aimed at one of the bowl and missed terribly, lodging a ball inbetween two bowls. Failure. The ghoul gave her a disapproving Look.
"Ah."

Still humming, Hollandaise looked at the people nearby. Garish, too dark, ugly, mismatched. Plants, at least, always matched other plants in some manner. Adalaide was, at least, acceptable, if not green or plant-like. Ducking her head, she eyed the bowls warily. There was absolutely no way she would leave before succeeding at least somehow! She had already failed once today, in fleeing the other students. The warder sighed. She could've handled that better, perhaps, but the undead startled her and that looming dragon. With a delicate creak, she tossed the ball. splishExactly where she had aimed it: right into an Emeraldback Floresce's bowl! "Oh! Did I hit the fish?" Her voice colored with distress and the leaves on her shoulders fluttered.

DarkHeartedSorrow The return and subsequent success of Wally pleased the Nightmare immensely. She clapped her hands gleefully and slid a ticket across to him. "I'll see you later!" she promised. yylaayl "The face painter!" Ada cried delightedly, waving at Quillan as he approached the booth. She watched him prepare for the shot -- and then promptly ducked to the side, narrowly missing the eyeball bouncing off of her, though she was laughing the entire time. "Now that was a fancy trickshot! Here you are!" She handed over the ticket and cherry-topped puff with a gin. The Semblance of Unity Ooh, now here was a lovely new lady! Adelaide perked up as the plant ghoul took to the game, grinning in her easy way. "Don't be too hard on yourself, just -- maybe try to toss it a little higher? It gives it bounce--" and indeed, it bounced well on her second try! The ghoul's exclamation made the Nightmare blink in surprise before shaking her head quickly. "Not at all! That's what the water is for -- it's buoyant so the fish is never touched. Unless it's a little slow and a floater, then there might be a problem...but that's easily solved with making a snack." Addie glanced behind herself at the cooked fish and then back to the other, offering a little grin she hoped appeased her. AnhikaJeanine Laughter escaped her in a friendly peel, clapping her hands when Anna made the toss. "Fantastic! Nothing persistence can't pay off with." Ada was pleased with the ghoul's enthusiasm, bouncing with her gleefully. Quickly retrieving the winnings, she handed them over, chirping, "Congratulations!!"

Shiki flushed as she handed him the fish and he nibbled on the head of the first morsel. Mmm,.. His ears flicked up and tails flagged as he enjoyed it. "T-Thank you" The young kitsune had never tasted a fish like this before, but he could really get to like it. Taking the ticket in his hand and giving another shy smile he skipped away.

Another fish game! Trisha bound over to the fish game like a bee to honey. "Fishy Fishy Fishy!" Her little mantra seemed to have worked because when she tossed the ball it landed in a Diamondback Floresce bowl. She did a little dance. "Fishy." She grinned taking her ticket.

Lihua made her way over to the floresce bowl. She took up her five eyeballs and raised her hands to throw one. She managed to get one in on her first try!!! She was so happy. Of all the people Shiki had met so far, Ada had seemed the nicest. Then again she was the one he had given the best chance to as well, since he was so scared of everyone and everything. Slowly tiptoeing his way back to the booth, lured by the smell of the fish again, he moved to stand next to her. "Uh.. 'scuse me..." His voice was barely a squeak and his ears were folded down. "C-Can you... can you come...with me... fortune.. big.. scary..." His words faded out as soon as she would look at him, and his tails started twitch. The kitsune was clearly terrified she would be mean.

Adelaide crossed her fingers that the chipper one would win -- and luck was on Trisha's side! Addie laughed and slid the ticket across the booth to her. "Fishy," she agreed, grinning. xdeathxbyxlovex Addie beamed at Lihua, presenting her with a raffle ticket. "Nice aim! Hope you enjoy the rest of the carnival!"
"I'd be happy to visit Haruffe with you," she replied brightly, "but in return, you have to give me your name. That fair?" She quickly set out a sign that said she'd be right back, moving out from behind the booth and offering her hand to the demure foxkin. "I'm Adelaide. You can call me Ada or Addie or whatever suits your fancy."
