The initial interest was in the fact that when I tried to look up an image to see if anyone had tried to make such a weapon (disregarding the fact that you had quite probably tried to before, for references), I didn't find anything.
And yet I can almost swear I've seen one. Somewhere. In a movie or a game or something.

Something post-apocalyptic.

I mean, I saw an IMAGE of this.

But I couldn't find one online. With several searches.

...that means my muse quite possibly made up the image.
And why fight the muse? Right? P:

Ah, I can see that being a dilemma. S'all about finding someone willing to really work with you on that one.
...unfortunately, probably the better-at-detail artists are swamped with commishes already and/or probably costly with services.
Though for a reference picture of an item,...
Well,... I guess it might depend on the detail in the item.

Speaking of detail, now that I'm thinking about it... I might have to give you a few wips between phases to make sure of something or another specifically because this will be for a reference, and a reference should be as clear as one can make it. My op.

XD If I had $100 I would rather put it towards food or savings for the new TV I want because mine is breaking XD

I need all the info people have and some people are not even willing to write out the info they just draw the char and are like him
I am like
tell me about him. How would he react in these situations.
Though sometimes seeing enough ref pics can be helpful if the artist draws their own char; I can get a feeling of their personality through pics
I wrote the personality for some of Dez's chars.
But anything done from the imagination needs to be done as a group and back and forth
I always wanted to be in a screenwriting room with the group of writers and fuel off that energy O:

xP That... sounds frustrating. lol.
And actually reminds me a bit of people asking for character art sometimes. Though I suppose they do generally seem to know they should be descriptive appearance-wise... it still often seems like they leave out crucial-seeming details. Like personality. Which is why my old OC art request skele had a section for that, if I recall... xD;;;

I think I'm stalking Dez on dA, actually. Think I'd followed a link from their sig or something one day and... *shrug*

It is why I rarely write for other people. XD
My talent is more with personality; I sometimes forget to add the 5 senses when I write, but If I am given enough time to slow down and really write things out I can get super descriptive XD

I am/was till his classes started/ helping him get the plotline for his story. He wants to have a webcomic for one of his chars.
I am gonna try tossing him more personality profiles for his chars once he has more free time so I can ask some more questions. ^^
