Mili carefully approached the sound. It as a rattle of dust and boards. Someone was there. Taking a breath, the teal blood compiled all her energy into her stomach and crept forward. Each step made her gut harden more and more until it was naught more than a stone.

In the light, Mili spotted a red, young troll. Odette! Relief swept through her. Stepping out slowly from the shadows, so Odette could see, she approached her friend. Owl mom flapped out of the darkness too and preened her feathers.

Mili wrapped her arms around Odette and nodded. Taking her book and pen up, she scrawled a quick note,

| Yes! Let us go and find Vremea. We need to fight these Royalists off. I'm glad you're safe. |

Odette smiled and returned Milieu's hug. Her hug was tight and friendly, and Odette didn't want to let her go. Tears welled up in her eyes, she was so thankful her friend was okay.

Milieu separated the hug and began to write. She told Odette that she was glad she was safe. Odette bit the inside of her lip, but she couldn't help it. The tears came rolling down her face. She wiped them away with her fist hurriedly. "I'm sorry, I'm just so glad you're safe, too." Odette apologized.

Odette took out her walkie talkie to contact Vremea. "Yellow Yak to Red Swan. I am with Teal Owl and we are both safe," she said. "Can you send your coordinates so we can find you? Over."

For now the two of them had to keep moving, Odette thought. Odette travelled due east, and once again encountered the Loyalist beach shack. Upon second look, Odette could see some flaws in the foundation. She wasn't surprised, half of these bases were made by kids after all. She turned to Milieu. "Stay here and stay safe, I'm going in." Odette told the girl before sneaking in for the attack.

Waiting was taking too long. Odette was so incredibly worried for her friend. If the royals were attacking, Vremea could be hiding in any number of spots, or worse. She contacted the nearest rebel base and asked if they had seen her.

      Even while Vremea was with another group she wouldn't shirk on her duties! As soon as they were off to the next area with Ganyma and Kursha, Vremea managed to get a few people to join in. Hearing Odette's voice from Ganyma's radio, the girl asked for permission before taking it and responded to Odette. "I am away from there for now. I am accompanying Teal Hulk and another whom I shall deem... Green Robin as they demolish and construct areas. I will be returning to City Hall afterwards-- Coordinates are [4,3]!"

      It was almost too easy. Vremea was practically humming each time she managed to wrangle more trolls to help them out, how ever many or small of an amount there were.

      Vremea honestly felt like she looked like utter bullplop when she approached other trolls. Oh well, whatever. She'd manage-- even if only 3 of them cared at the movement. They'd see!!

Milieu held a stiff stick in one hand, and marched in front of a flock of older defenders. She, a child, leading teens to the City Hall. It was where they were now deciding to form their defense. City Hall would be their place of mobilization. Better here, she figured, than nowhere.

After some debating, the group of defenders left moved towards the Pale Flush district. It was good to keep some defenders there at all times. If they were careful with what they did, they could save many lives just by having their resources spread better.

The club was still a tough base to work with. Mili sighed and rubbed a hand against her brow. Even after all her training, she was still unable to make any major dents one way or another in a structure's integrity. At the very least, she thought glumly, I'm finally being useful.

Taking her walkie talkie she flipped on the com line and began to tap out a new message.

      Vremea had notified Milieu of the new defenders before, so it was no surprise to hear her comrade respond to her-- and to her, Vremea responded back while recruiting more trolls. "I will take care of myself. Please be careful as well, Teal Owl."

DAILY REFRESH!


It's a new day! The realities of the conflict are finally starting to sink in. Rebel attacks are becoming more severe. The Alternian Military now proudly lists a fair number of rebel casualties. Injured royalists and those willing to assist in the injuries from demolition and conflict in Old Hemisect are told to report to the Coastal Base immediately. Captain Puchen's offer has been taken back now that the rebels have a greater edge than the royal forces in the tide of battles. "Attention, all recruits," she barked over the radio. "Force is necessary to win this battle. If we cannot will them to our side, we will capture and punish them. Take them down."


Today's Happenstance: If a Royalist Team destroys a rebel base, they can quote a user whose rebel troll they have captured. The troll must make a post in the Royalist Team's thread and roll 2d6 to unlock a new coordinate. If they fail to find a new coordinate, they must roll 2d6, then 3d6, etc until they do so (accompanied by RP text). The first new coordinate rolled will be used (only 1 coordinate is to be unlocked through this effect). They cannot roll in their group thread until this is done. This can be used once per Royalist Team.

If a Rebel Team destroys a Royalist base, they can quote two trolls who have unlocked the coordinate that the destroyed base was on. These two must post once in the Coastal Base attending to their injuries and the injuries of others before they can roll again in their group thread. This effect can be used once per Rebel Team.

Each troll is refreshed and ready to go with 2 available actions.

Refreshers:
POSSIBLE ACTIONS ARE:

Build: Roll 1D6 to build on a coordinate that you have unlocked – the roll result determines the durability of the base. You can also build on friendly bases to add durability, up to a maximum of 30 durability. You cannot build on a coordinate that already has an enemy base on it.
Trolls with training in Construction get a bonus to their roll:
Apprentice: Roll 2D6 Journeytroll: Roll 3D6 Master: Roll 4D6 Grandmaster: Roll 5D6

Rally: Roll 1D6 to organize defenders, which can be assigned to any coordinate you have unlocked. The roll result determines the amount of defenders you have rallied. Defenders will be on stand-by until you mobilize them. Defenders are the second level of defense that can be assigned to protect a base. You must use defenders to take out defenders if you want to demolish an enemy base!
Trolls with training in Recruiting get a bonus to their roll:
Apprentice: Roll 2D6 Journeytroll: Roll 3D6 Master: Roll 4D6 Grandmaster: Roll 5D6

Demolish:
Roll 1D6 to destroy a base on a coordinate that you have unlocked – the roll result determines the amount of damage done to the durability of the base. At 0 durability, the base is destroyed. You cannot demolish a base with defenders assigned to it.
Trolls with training in Demolition get a bonus to their roll:
Apprentice: Roll 2D6 Journeytroll: Roll 3D6 Master: Roll 4D6 Grandmaster: Roll 5D6

Intelligence: Roll a new coordinate (2D6). If you roll a coordinate you have already unlocked, the roll is wasted.
Trolls with training in Intelligence get a bonus to their rolls:
Apprentice: Roll 2 new coordinates (4D6)
Journeytroll: Roll 2 new coordinates (4D6); if at least 1 of the coordinates is not unique, re-roll 2D6 until a new coordinate has been unlocked.
Master: Journeytroll effect OR select one new coordinate from another team and unlock it. You must post with roleplay in your own thread and the other team’s thread for this to take effect.
Grandmaster: Journeytroll effect OR Master effect OR… Roll 1 coordinate (2D6). If your allies control the coordinate rolled: add 5 durability and 5 defenders to that coordinate (may surpass the maximum durability/defender limit by 5). If your opponents control the coordinate rolled: it loses 5 durability and 5 recruits (does not apply if the numbers would decrease past 0). You additionally unlock the coordinate.


Mobilize: Choose one of two options:
1. Send defenders from your stand-by or a friendly-base you control to any friendly-base on a coordinate that you have unlocked.
2. Assault an enemy-controlled coordinate that you have unlocked using defenders from a friendly base. Defenders must be deployed to a base before they can assault an enemy base and cannot attack directly from your standby.

You do damage to a base

Odette scanned the horizon, looking for royal bases. A few stuck out like sore thumbs, and it was evident to Odette that they had their children building on the front line as well. She felt bad having Mili in that situation. Children really shouldn't be here. It was too dangerous. Odette was an exception, being well, not really an adult.

She had to bring herself to take out these smaller bases. They were the rebel's only hope in taking back the city. She could go in silently, do some internal damage... Yes, she could make it work without hurting anyone.

Odette landed on the small barge off the coast. It was filled with seagulls and it smelled terrible, but Odette wasn't one to mind about things like that. It was an easy flight over for her, but her friends might have more difficulty building a base there. Still, it would be difficult for royals to approach, too. Well, not including the seadwellers.

"Red Swan of Totally Spies here..." she said. She missed her friends. She knew she had to keep moving, but she really wanted to see Vremea again. "I've discovered an abandoned barge a little ways off the coast. Might make for a good base. Over."

News finally crackled through the receiver. Surprisingly, the little troll didn't make any motions to leave quickly. She was worn out from worrying. Everyone had split, which was understandable, but it left the teal troll worrying. Owl mom was acting oddly too. Didn't Lusii become strange when something big was going to happen? Shoving those worrying thoughts to the back of her mind, she noted the coordinates and went down to the barge.

It was one of the furthest points on their map. Definitely not accessible by any easy means. Eyeing the layout, Mili grumbled under her breath. Actually making some sort of decent base with the rusted material was going to be difficult. They were able to peel off pieces here or there, but overall it was puny.

The work crew that had joined her was dispersed to parts of the barge to make sure it wouldn't sink. They would remain as defenders of the territory. Milieu was starting to adjust writing down quick, concise orders. The trolls were, likewise, starting to get used to taking orders from someone who couldn't speak. It felt comforting in an odd way.

Just like learning morse. The fact that Troll!Morse had made a special militarized code that used long beeps, short beeps, and spaces to spell out words was phenomenal. And Vremea... She had learned it, just so they two could speak. Mili felt bad Odette hadn't the time to learn, but she was doing amazingly well with her master spy tactics. Vremmy translated for Odette too. Over all? They had a decent chance. The Loyalists seemed in disarray.

Maybe, just maybe, they could win.
