A thought had occurred to Stryke in the process of rallying, and trying to gather more troops. Before things got any more hectic down at the Mall he recalled early that evening the brief interaction earlier that had been radio'd to him. "Phoenix 1, do you copy? This is Just Vigilance. City Hall is under attack any chance you guys can send a hand our way?" he waited. It was a crap shot, but one worth attempting.
[ Things were really heating up now! Rasali had previously been running up and down the rebel-controlled beach. That had quickly grown tiring, even for Rasali's youthful enthusiasm. Instead Rasali switched to primarily shouting commands into her walkie-talkie from atop the back of her lusus--only bothering recruits in person when her batteries began to fade. ]
[ Rasali was tired, but sitting atop her tall lusus's shoulders invigorated her. She felt like she was in the control tower of an airport, or on the bridge of a ship.
This was about as useful as Kappadad had been on this excursion. Unless his dashing good looks were adding to the appeal of Rasali's recruitment spiel. Rasali did not assume this to be the case. ]
[ For all of Rasali's barely-coherent shouting, her instructions were quite simple. She was moving all of her recruits to City Hall. She was determined to make an icon of this rebel base.
Even if they lost, which Rasali wasn't planning on at all, the rebels weren't going to go down without striking the loyalists' pride. Hard. ]

He tried to never stay in one place for too long, as per usual after cleaning up his supplies, radioing in where he'd been, Skae got the heck out of dodge. He was sure he'd heard the sounds of fighting not too long ago. He was a scavenger rust blood, not some gladiatorial trained troll. He'd do his fighting from waaaay over here thanks.
His form of fighting was repairing things.
Yes. He was that troll.
His flight from the Dead Fields took him across the city nearly, to what had once been the fish market. The stink of fish could still be smelled and it made his digestion sac growl. He'd only gotten bits of...something from Taldad for breakfast and it had worn thin. Not that he wasn't used to starving, but still.
He waited a bit to see if any Loyalist were around before starting his assault on their base.

Gritting his teeth against the vibrations he could feel Skae continued to plant more of his bombs, quickly, as the way he'd set them up earlier would make them go off in waves. He was currently in the line of fire. Literally. He yelped as he felt the heat from one of the bombs behind him singe his back.
Not wanting to get blown up Skae scuttled faster, planting, arming, and moving on as quickly as his short legs would allow.

DAILY REFRESH!
It's a new day! The realities of the conflict are finally starting to sink in. Rebel attacks are becoming more severe. The Alternian Military now proudly lists a fair number of rebel casualties. Injured royalists and those willing to assist in the injuries from demolition and conflict in Old Hemisect are told to report to the Coastal Base immediately. Captain Puchen's offer has been taken back now that the rebels have a greater edge than the royal forces in the tide of battles. "Attention, all recruits," she barked over the radio. "Force is necessary to win this battle. If we cannot will them to our side, we will capture and punish them. Take them down."
Today's Happenstance: If a Royalist Team destroys a rebel base, they can quote a user whose rebel troll they have captured. The troll must make a post in the Royalist Team's thread and roll 2d6 to unlock a new coordinate. If they fail to find a new coordinate, they must roll 2d6, then 3d6, etc until they do so (accompanied by RP text). The first new coordinate rolled will be used (only 1 coordinate is to be unlocked through this effect). They cannot roll in their group thread until this is done. This can be used once per Royalist Team.
If a Rebel Team destroys a Royalist base, they can quote two trolls who have unlocked the coordinate that the destroyed base was on. These two must post once in the Coastal Base attending to their injuries and the injuries of others before they can roll again in their group thread. This effect can be used once per Rebel Team.
Each troll is refreshed and ready to go with 2 available actions.
You guys rule! Keep up the good work!
Refreshers: POSSIBLE ACTIONS ARE:
Build: Roll 1D6 to build on a coordinate that you have unlocked – the roll result determines the durability of the base. You can also build on friendly bases to add durability, up to a maximum of 30 durability. You cannot build on a coordinate that already has an enemy base on it. Trolls with training in Construction get a bonus to their roll: Apprentice: Roll 2D6 Journeytroll: Roll 3D6 Master: Roll 4D6 Grandmaster: Roll 5D6
Rally: Roll 1D6 to organize defenders, which can be assigned to any coordinate you have unlocked. The roll result determines the amount of defenders you have rallied. Defenders will be on stand-by until you mobilize them. Defenders are the second level of defense that can be assigned to protect a base. You must use defenders to take out defenders if you want to demolish an enemy base! Trolls with training in Recruiting get a bonus to their roll: Apprentice: Roll 2D6 Journeytroll: Roll 3D6 Master: Roll 4D6 Grandmaster: Roll 5D6 Demolish: Roll 1D6 to destroy a base on a coordinate that you have unlocked – the roll result determines the amount of damage done to the durability of the base. At 0 durability, the base is destroyed. You cannot demolish a base with defenders assigned to it. Trolls with training in Demolition get a bonus to their roll: Apprentice: Roll 2D6 Journeytroll: Roll 3D6 Master: Roll 4D6 Grandmaster: Roll 5D6
Intelligence: Roll a new coordinate (2D6). If you roll a coordinate you have already unlocked, the roll is wasted. Trolls with training in Intelligence get a bonus to their rolls: Apprentice: Roll 2 new coordinates (4D6) Journeytroll: Roll 2 new coordinates (4D6); if at least 1 of the coordinates is not unique, re-roll 2D6 until a new coordinate has been unlocked. Master: Journeytroll effect OR select one new coordinate from another team and unlock it. You must post with roleplay in your own thread and the other team’s thread for this to take effect. Grandmaster: Journeytroll effect OR Master effect OR… Roll 1 coordinate (2D6). If your allies control the coordinate rolled: add 5 durability and 5 defenders to that coordinate (may surpass the maximum durability/defender limit by 5). If your opponents control the coordinate rolled: it loses 5 durability and 5 recruits (does not apply if the numbers would decrease past 0). You additionally unlock the coordinate.
Mobilize: Choose one of two options: 1. Send defenders from your stand-by or a friendly-base you control to any friendly-base on a coordinate that you have unlocked. 2. Assault an enemy-controlled coordinate that you have unlocked using defenders from a friendly base. Defenders must be deployed to a base before they can assault an enemy base and cannot attack directly from your standby.
POST IN THE WAR ROOM THREAD IF:
You build a new base on a coordinate You reinforce a friendly base You assign defenders to a base You assault a base You do damage to a base You destroy a base You use the Grandmaster Intelligence perk to affect a base
Lunear was determined to keep city hall. But it did beg the question- where were those dang loyalists coming from? "Heading out to find where those loyals are coming from."
Having gained more intel on the enemy bases, Lunear went further, probing to find more hives of scum and villanly. Though, he wasn't sure from an objective standpoint who was the real villian given how both sides were going about the whole situation. Sighing as he clambered over a broken wall, the troll teen rolled his eyes as his gerbils started to chirp at him. Yes yes he'd feel you later. Daddy just had some people to spy on. While he ran into to some other rebels, he also found the market unoccupied.
"Lune to Phoenix 1- Old Market is void of Loyalist forces. Get someone here to build because ******** if I'm doing it."
"Good evening Phoenix 1, thanks for your support yesterday it really helped!" Stryke remembered he hadn't called in t heir beginning the mobilization and calling on forces. He'd never met the voice on the other end, but he sounded fancy enough and like he knew his s**t. It was worth checking in with fellow contacts. "How is your current situation? Over." Leaning back resting his chin in his palm as he held onto his radio.
The radio, buzzing on, made Lunear stop his scouting, taking a small break to chat it up. "You're quite welcome. It's good to know that some can appreciate the fine efforts of a top notch troll team." He would ham it up and bask in any praise he could find.
"Ah well, it's fine enough. out and about looking at what the loyal blunders have built. They seem kind of terrible really. No attention to details or refinement. You'd think them slightly uneducated." He shrugged to himself. "What of you're team?"

Stryke held up his radio squinting at it briefly before pushing the button down. "Well it was pretty quick thinking yesss...you were awesome! Uh, as for us? We have about 43 troops placed still, we'll have to look for more recruitment options." He shrugged even if the other couldn't see it. Praise well deserved, their asses had been on the line afterall. This guy deserve it in Ryk's books.
"Gross, hope it goes down quickly." He sighed wistfully, less loyalist bases was good news for them. "They are under pressure for sure. Our teams good, we built on a few places, and have troops deployed in three locations." Stryke replied back, in a fairly up beat mood by this point. The little chat was nice, it was a break from barking at trolls off to defend and got a feel for how others were doing.
Lunear grinned, 43 troops- ha, just showed how loyal trolls were to the current rule. Pathetic really. Marian chirped from his pocket and Gabiel wiggled, as if knowing his mind's thoughts. Pulling them both out he pet them, content to laze about and ignore work.
"Have you offered beetles? That net me a few decent trolls. You could also offer favors and gifts, though some might be..skeptical of that." Merian chirped at him. "Ah, and saying that they'll get gerbils might work. Fad and all."
Said gerbil wiggled contently at the additional remark.
"Overall our forces seem to be spread thin, and unlike them we lack a great deal of fighting power. We must bolster what we can and maintain our holds as strongly as possible. City Hall if anything will be the largest blow to the morale of those loyal losers." He laughed over the radio. "Good to hear that another team is doing well. Hard to say how we're fairing over all."
