Jack is really bored of Merchant and Mari arguing. Wow. Dog treats, huh. Guy's got some weird taste.
Mari was trying REALLY hard last night to find evidence that Merchant was cheating on her while he was away.
She didn't find any. (It didn't happen.)
Try as she might, she can't hate him either. He's too cute.

There’s a new waitress at the diner. She’s polite and cheerful, but she never stays behind to go out with drinks with her coworkers no matter how much they ask.
She says she doesn’t drink.
There’s a new customer at the diner. He’s an elf that uses glamour to hide his ears, and he always orders a single cup of coffee. The same waitress always delivers it.
He’s blind, but nobody knows from what.
There’s a new worker at the apothecary. They don’t say much, but they’re a pretty efficient worker. Sometimes they buy herbs to take home, saying they’re a chemist who makes their own homemade remedies.
Sometimes, on their breaks, they’re texting someone.
There’s a new police officer on the force. He’s quite friendly with the locals, chatting with them about the latest gossip in town, but he’s not a very good police officer, because he lets criminals go quite often.
He’s a pain in the a** for the man in the cart, though.
There’s a new dwarf in the Catacombs. He was hired by the Council to map the whole tunnel system, because they’re afraid of the unknown. Dwarves can navigate the underground in their sleep, so he’s the perfect man for the job.
In fact, he finished it a long time ago but never told them.
There’s a new…. huh?
Oh. It looks like we can’t talk about her.
Not yet, anyway.
