The boy's eyes widened as Mirai's fist formed into a gauntlet. Her hit landed directly; he obviously hadn't been expecting her to be able to fight back. He bent inward, a look of shock on his face. But the look of shock slowly faded to a smile as he stood up straight again, not even winded. "Oh, what luck!" He said as if he'd just gotten what he'd wanted for his birthday. Mirai's attack had had no effect. "Are you a witch then? Or a demon...?" He asked curiously.

The boy was still grinning like the cat that swallowed the canary. "Oh, either way thank you for fighting back then. This is going to be so much more fun than I thought..." He no longer seemed intimidated by Mirai in the slightest. When Mirai glanced at SC she would be able to see that the cat had taken up a position on a small pile of trash, her large cat eyes focused intently on the boy. They slowly moved all across him, up and down, left and right as she seemed to be intently looking for something. "Well come on then," the boy taunted before rushing forward again. This time he spun and attempted to kick her straight across the face. Just like with other Machinists who were augmented against witches and demons, any attack he landed against Mirai would be a brutal hit.

The boy merely shrugged off Mirai's attack. SC glanced at her when she heard her voice. Normally you wouldn't... she thought back. But in the Machine Dumps, it's really hard to maintain your augmentations; there's not many resources or industrial strength unless you happen to be a whiz at mechanics which this guy doesn't seem to be.....that means that most likely his augmentations are damaged and worn in some way. That means there's a potential flaw somewhere....I'm trying to see what it is. The boy came at Mirai again, throwing a left and then a right hook at her chin.

As Mirai's punch landed the hit seemed to have a little more effect than her resonance powered attack but it wasn't enough to serious injure the boy. Instead he reached forward to grab her arm and then tried to throw a punch towards her face. I will, SC promised. The boy only blinked and leaned back a few inches when Mirai's sword slash hit him. It was obvious he was immune to her powers. It was most likely a combination of witch and demon augmentation.

The boy ran towards Mirai again, the same small smile on his face as he suddenly dropped and slid forward, missing the debris Mirai threw at him before quickly getting to his feet. "You're a feisty one," he told her, seeming to enjoy that fact. He aimed a roundhouse kick at her head this time, wanting to knock her off her feet.

The boy smiled as Mirai launched the debris at him. There was an explosive rush of force as he rushed forward faster than should be normal, arriving in front of her and already pulling back to throw a punch. "Did you think throwing physical objects at me was a way around my immunity? Sorry beautiful, but since the throw is powered by your wavelength you'd have better luck picking them up and poking me with them." SC's ears perked up as she heard the boy. "Hmm..." She said, seeming to see some sort of hint in what the boy had said.
