Magnus paused again, unsure how to respond. Technically what she said was the truth. He hadn't thought of that distinction: to him Charlotte and her family had always been part of the larger "DWMA family" to him. He glanced over at Shira. "We killed one of them?" He muttered to her. He waited for her to answer before looking back at Saint Clara, taking a deep breath. "We understand that Divine has caused problems for us in the past, but his daughter is different. She's with us and attacking her involves attacking many of us. As you know, even Lady Death was put in harms way due to the actions of your Machinist minions." Magnus had to push the envelope a little further.

So my Machinists would not touch a single hair on her head." She stretched then "But never mind that. I am not going to talk anymore if you keep swinging things around and making it sound like it is our faults for trying to protect the humans. Something Death City isn't too good at doing since they have decided to ally themselves as the enemy. Therefore I will have to decline to your alliance. It doesn't matter if the monster is claimed to be good, they are all the same. They will all turn around and slit your necks eventually." she said before relaxing in her chair again. Shira frowned slightly. ◈ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ◈ Move used: ---
Navnik/Kornari Destiny The twins just listened to them go back and fourth between what was lying and what was truth and all things related "and yet she has such monsters helping her""we both know shes a hypocrite...no need to keep saying anything" they thought to each other "do we have to sit through all this..i wold much rather have some fun""me too but since theres no one but empty shells o robots...its kinda limits our fun" they continued being quiet as to not interupt but always having their conversations to interject inside of their heads
Deloria was getting a bored to the talking and somehow agitated from the lack of anything getting serious. That tongue slips under from the hood trailing down to the twins only to open the middle part making a mouth as he tells them that he too is getting bored with this as well.
"Does a future exist in wasted time? Do I exist in a place like this? If I want to talk about me, if I make myself heard, I'll say I'm "Bad Apple"."
Magnus frowned as he heard Saint Clara. This was definitely not going the way he had planned it. But then again, he shouldn't have expected to be able to manipulate Saint Clara. She was chewing him up and spitting him out when it came to word games. He had to think of something else. He glanced back towards the doorway. If he took a few steps forward his shadow would overlap Shira's and hers would overlap the nearby guards. If Nano were paying attention he should be able to slip through and out the door with that little path. Still....making an aggressive move towards Saint Clara was not something he wanted to do. But it seemed like the only option at present. "You have no idea what you're talking about," Magnus replied angrily. Though Saint Clara had over 200 years more experience with such things than he did. "You're just looking for a reason to provoke us! Well let me tell you something: make the DWMA your enemy and it's the last mistake you'll ever make!" He took several steps forward with his last statement. As soon as he did so there was a loud *shink* of metal and a wet sound of liquid congealing. In a flash Saint Clara's two bodyguards each raised one arm in front of Saint Clara, forming an X between her and Magnus. Shelle's wrist blade was out and ready while Mary's hand had turned into what looked like a giant red dragon claw. The hand itself was covered in red liquid while the claws that jutted out from long, curled fingers were a shiny pitch black color. Despite their darkness they gleamed menacingly in the bright room. The two bodyguards kept their stern expressions as they waited for Saint Clara's reaction. They were ready to attack if Magnus so much as twitched suddenly.
Kiki cocks an eyebrow hearing Magnus with an angry tone. Finally.....we're getting somewhere, she thinks to herself as she watches her surroundings more carefully. She watches with anticipation as her meister begins to step forward torwards the female known as Saint Clara. The moment the two bodyguards react is the same moment Kiki grins seeing that something is most likely going to happen. Talking was never much something Kiki had liked doing let alone watching others do such a thing. No...to her...talking just led to conversations she tends to not want to have to deal with. Her white pigtails follow her as she runs up behind Magnus. Just say the word.....just say the word....just say the word, she continuously thinks inside her head waiting for something actually exciting to happen. "Just say the word," she mutters under her breathe as she keeps her eyes on the two guards.
◈ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ◈ Shira honestly had no idea what Magnus was doing and chose to stay silent still, a worried expression on her face no. Saint Clara snickered after Magnus spoke. "I am trying to provoke you huh?" she asked as her guards were now ready to attack Magnus and possibly kill him if Saint Clara gave the word. Her expression turned serious then and her expression darkened quite a bit. "Your father shouldn't have even taken you in it seems. He raised quite a fool." she said before sighing "Anyway, if anything you are provoking us. We were just doing what we do. We are protecting humans from possible threats. And then you walk on in here. Acting like you want to form an alliance with us when, in reality, you are just pointing guns and knives at us. That airship no too far away from here proves it." she said, revealing that she knew about the airship. Saint Clara's gaze dug into Magnus then "If you thought you could come in here and trick us, you are clearly mistaken. At this point, your title does not matter. If anyone tries to assault the Machinist Order, we will get rid of them." Shira stood there frozen, obviously not sure what to do in this situation. She held onto Takeshi a bit tighter now as she stared up at Saint Clara. "I am rather nice though..." Saint Clara said as she glanced to the side then looked at Shira "How about a trade. I let all of you go free, even the hostages, we won't harm that hybrid again either... if we get Lady Death here." she told Magnus "Your choice though." ◈ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ◈ Move used: ---

Navnik/Kornari Destiny The twins just listened they even heard the one weapon mutter to Magnus which made them chuckle "she wants to fight..." one muttered before hearing Deloria speak one of them turned "dont worry...i have a feeling they will make a dumb move soon" she muttered silently so only the ones near them could hear they simply justwatched as they wanted to see exacty how they were going to get out of the predicament they put themselves into, the twins stayed quiet afterward just listening.
Gee today has been nothing but a bore and its likely the next day will be a bore. Aw who am I kidding? My entire life has been a bore lately.
You would think that a guy like me would have a life of excitement but I'm just as plain as the next guy.
Soul Protect ► On Soul Wavelength Stable/Calm
Takeshi watched as the conversation escalated quickly. Saint Clara was beginning to show more of her true colors after all, she was quite the menacing one when she was aggravated. With Saint Clara's bodyguards at Magnus' throat, tension was rising quickly. Eventually they would have to make a move, especially considering that they found out about the airship. This is bad...things are really bad...or going to get bad anyways. Should we act...? Takeshi watched as Shira began gripping him tighter and tighter, a little more and it would begin to hurt a little. With Saint Clara having the group surrounded and running out of options, all they could do was break out in battle or swallow their pride and agree to Saint Clara's terms. Takeshi didn't like this at all, he wanted to take on the Machinist here and now. Allowing Shira to be taken hostage would clearly cause major issues in the future, so why risk that? Even if the group did hand over Shira, would Saint Clara really allow them to leave, would she keep her word?
Takeshi's Techniques - The ones in use will be bolded.
Spells/Powers:
+ Black Step - Very similar to the original Takeshi's blue step the black step is a variation of it. By resonating with himself Takeshi is capable of moving at super high speeds leaving behind a blur like after image of him. The reason why the technique gets the name Black Step is because of the clothing Takeshi wears, when the after image of Takeshi is left it looks all black and fuzzy due to his clothing. Unlike the original the alternate can use this technique in quick succession due to his stamina so he could out speed anyone he comes into contact with. Anyone that is unfortunate enough to battle Takeshi will have a hard time catching up with him. This technique can't be used in his madness release form because Takeshi doesn't travel the way he does when he is using madness to enhance most of his capabilities. Most people confuse this technique as teleportation but truly its Takeshi's speed. In his kishin form this move is referred to him as the black dance due to the dramatically enhanced speed boost.
+ Soul Protect - A technique that is in constant use by Takeshi. In order to escape Shibusen's meisters and weapons Takeshi will use soul protect. This allows Takeshi to bypass soul perception which would be able to distinguish his soul from an average humans soul. Most with soul perception will see his soul as a human soul and have no clue of his warlock soul. He is also capable of disguising his wavelength to that of a regular cat. Since there are certain people that would be able to detect lies due to the fluctuations of wavelengths Takeshi has learned to keep his wavelength calm so no one would be able to detect his lies.
+ Familiars - Around the time Takeshi was still going to the DMA in the alternate universe he managed to animate his toy teddy bear. He named it Cookie and cares a great deal for it, calling it a him instead of a her since it didn't seem as feminine. Normally the stuffed bear is used for stuff such as household chores or guarding Takeshi while he sleeps. Cookie means the world to Takeshi and so far he thinks of them as the only beings he could truly trust. Always around Takeshi, he wears them on an article of his clothing all of the time which is usually his sweater. All he has to do is say his name and the familiar will awaken and grow a bit bigger in size. Cookie can't speak but Takeshi can understand every movement he makes since they have a unique link. Usually when he awakens the stick on the bear in toy mode will also grow. So far Cookie has been known to be used as a spy, guard, and even test dummy for training. Cookie is surprisingly fast and is able to move without detection, especially since he has no soul. After sustaining some damage they will revert back to their toy form. Cookie can scale tall buildings with a super jump but other than that and the previously mentioned features, that's all he could do. His other familiars are a bit different and are summoned for combat reasons. When using his shadow magic Takeshi can create familiars that are produced from his own shadows. These familiars aren't as strong individually but more of as a group. Usually producing five to ten shadows in order to attack his enemies Takeshi will order them to attack his enemies. The first familiars, shadows, are the weakest and capable of just scratching attacks and more stuff when they're in a group. Stalkers are the next level of shadows and much more quick and able than shadows. Most of the time Takeshi will create just five since they are more than capable of fighting by themselves.
+ Madness Overload - A technique that allows Takeshi to take on even the mightiest of foes. By amplifying the madness already within himself, Takeshi can fight on the level of a human that is undergoing madness release. When under the powerful influence of madness Takeshi's traits and abilities and greatly enhanced enabling him fight on an entirely new level. Upon using this technique Takeshi will also change his appearance greatly such as wearing a black cloak made of madness, his feet will also sink into the ground leaving only his legs. The way Takeshi travels now is by sinking into the ground as a shadow, his body now bends and twists in strange ways. Only when Takeshi uses madness overload is he capable of summoning his unique mask and weapon made of madness which you could learn more about in the description above. Among the new abilities Takeshi obtains he can transform his body into a shadow and phase through an enemys attack. This lasts one post and needs a five post cool down. Towards the end of training to learn how to control his madness he developed this form. Amplifying his own madness was a huge risk therefore Takeshi's master didn't like the idea of using it in battle but the young man will still use it if needed. Because of Takeshi's training with the cultist he is able to control the madness even more now and can freely enter this stage whenever he wants and maintain it for extended periods of time. Despite being able to fully control the madness release his personality will change to closely resemble that of a madman. His fighting style will be unpredictable and hard to follow. Just because he loses some sanity Takeshi will still be able to know the difference between friend and foe alike so his allies won't be in any real danger.
+ Kishin Form - This form is a last resort. When Takeshi enters this form his speed is unmatched and his strength unparalleled. His defense is also given an amazing boost as well as all his five senses. Though when undergoing this form Takeshi makes sure to chain these big morning stars on his arms as a sort of restraint. Even with the restraints Takeshi is able to move at high speeds in this form easily as if the restraints didn't even exist. After eating many pure human souls fed to him by the cult that raised him he began to grow more aggressive. More powers were revealed and he was coming closer to becoming a true kishin however he started losing himself. He would see illusions and go into these panic attacks. It was awful for the boy. Losing his sanity he said he wouldn't eat another pure human soul until his training to carry out the cults mission would be carried out. Later he would get better and regain his sanity but he would still swear off of eating pure human souls. He uncovered this form after eating the last pure human soul he would eat at the abandoned hospital. Everyone immediately thought that Takeshi was in the process of becoming a kishin because his wavelength was reaching levels that closely resembled that of a regular kishin, however this wasn't the case. Quickly his body changed and his eyes didn't even look normal anymore. Just as everyone was about to celebrate his awakening as a kishin he reverted back to his average form. Later he would learn that he could enter this form freely though every time he did his body would be under heavy stress afterwards. Despite obtaining this form he can't maintain it for large periods of time unless he becomes a full fledged kishin. By eating just one more pure human soul Takeshi will become a true kishin and transform into his kishin form permanently. Without the restraints Takeshi can attack using his claws or his legs to cause devastating damage. He also gains the ability to manipulate and produce intense black flames of madness from his body. These can be used for a number of purposes such as using it in physical combat, creating barriers of black flames, and even incorporating a battle style for it. The black flames are extremely intense and are more deadly than average flames. Ultimately this form is stronger than his madness overlord form. If Takeshi uses this form in succession he will grow a third eye on his forehead symbolizing that the madness has nearly taken over him and his mind on the border between sane and insane.
+ Madness Manipulation - The ultimate form of madness is being able to harness that power and control it. This ability of Takeshi allows him to use his madness to enhance his physical prowess and speed. Thanks to this ability Takeshi is able to use his shadow magic offensively as well as concentrate the madness through his sword to enhance his cutting ability. Madness manipulation is the ability to use the massive amounts of madness within someone to empower the user or compress it into the form of blasts and beams. Madness is available to everyone since most people have at least a small amount of madness within them. Only those with immeasurable amounts of madness could unleash the full potential of its empowering properties. Depending on the person the effects of madness will effect everyone differently. Being the new embodiment of fear Takeshi's madness is terror. His magic is the control of shadows. By empowering himself with madness he is covered in a black shadow like aura that makes itself very apparent. Though empowering his body with madness gives him a darker look this isn't a form that can be compared to his other two but he does consider it due to the appearance change. This empowerment transformation is known as Shadow Drive hence the aura that would be emanating from him. When compressing the madness into a destructive force Takeshi can create black balls of madness that cause dome like explosions that range quite far. Compressing it into a form of blast is also possible. Finally Takeshi can alter the form of the madness and change the shape of it, enabling him to convert the madness into weapons. In weapon form the madness is highly weak to an Anti-Demon wavelength and will immediately disperse should a user come into contact with it.
+ Black Shadow Magic - This is the type of magic that Takeshi uses as a Warlock. By fusing Takeshi's magical power with the shadows he can manipulate them making them fall under his command. Now before the madness had made its presence known within the young warlock's body, this form of magic wasn't as deadly. It allows the complete manipulation of shadows within the nearby vicinity. Altering the shape and form of shadows was the original limitation before Takeshi's madness amplified its powers and changed the shadows he controls into a physical form. Much like vector magic, shadow magic is very similar in the way it attacks, although shadow magic differs and has some unique limits. Takeshi can only manipulate shadows when there are actually shadows, he can't function well in areas devoid of light entirely. Despite being able to control shadows only Takeshi's shadow can be used in an offensive manner. After Takeshi's shadows have been amplified by his own madness they've evolved and managed to grow eyes and mouthes with teeth. These mouthes are capable of eating and the eyes link back to Takeshi, basically it enables father eye sight. Takeshi's shadow can take on a variety of shapes, from sharp spikes to tendril-like hands. He can also manipulate, slice through or devour anything that comes in contact with his shadow and it appears invulnerable to conventional physical harm, although it can be deflected by sufficiently hard objects. He can also see and talk through his shadowy eyes and mouths wherever his shadow can extend. Any form of light magic interferes with Takeshi's shadow magic. Madness induced shadows however are much more resilient than the regular shadows Takeshi manipulates. After using madness overload Takeshi's whole body will be able to transform into a physical form of the shadows themselves enabling him to use his shadow magic anywhere. In his madness induced form Takeshi must travel by sinking into the ground and moving in a way as if he was swimming on the ground as a shadow. When under the effects of madness Takeshi is still able to move as a shadow in areas devoid of light, able to use his body as a weapon.

Nano - The Demon of Shadows

Form: Little Demon Abilities
• Demonic Transformation - True Demonic Form / Shadow Hound Form
• Shadow-Melding: Nano is able to meld into the shadows of beings and objects to disapper from sight, he is able to move around inside the shadows aswell as reach an entirely different place aslong as a shadow is connecting to the one he is already in. He is able to leap out of the shadow to strike at his opponents aswell, but is unable to use any abilities while merged with shadows.
• Night vision: Nano is able to see in the darkness at even the lowest of light levels.
• Shadow Scythe: This ability has two functions two it, this first function is a rather basic one, Nano is able to create a scythe made from the darkest shadows, whenever he succesfully strikes with the scythe he infects them with madness.
• Shadow Scythe: The second function to this ability is also rather simple but instead of creating a scythe, Nano fires a crescent shaped blade of darkness at his opponent which disappers after 3 feet, if it connects it also infects them with madness. (2 post cooldown)
• True Demon Form - Pitch Black: Nano attempts envelop the area around the fight he is in with absolute darkness (3 posts to activate, resets or stops if hit) if he is succesful then the area quickly turns black and any light source is either servely hindered or shut off completely until it disappers. This ability is able to turn a fight completely into his favour as he is able to easily shadow meld and leap out from unexpected areas. (Lasts 3 posts, 5 post cooldown)
• Demon Hound Form - Rolling Spikes: Nano rolls up into a ball and proceeds to roll towards his opponent at incredible speeds, upon connection Nano leaves spikes in his opponent which aren't easy to pull out.
• Demon Hound Form - Spike Missles: Nano faces his opponent as the gem on his forehead turns black then spikes begin to shoot out of the gem in a straight line at his opponent,, a momen ts later the spieks rupture causing them to become multiple tinier spikes. (2 post cooldown)

Nano listened to Magnus as he took an angry tone, it puzzled him why he would take this tone when they were under the guise of an "forming an alliance" even if Saint Clara declined thier offer, it was truely puzzling but no matter, he was sure the boy had a plan which he picked up on rather quickly as he took some steps, noticing the alignment of shadows, the demon swiftly moved through the shadows and into the guards one while the proceeding events occured. Nano stopped however when Saint Clara mentioned she knew about the airship it made the demon turn around turn around and face this woman, how did she know about the airship? What she said next though...that bothered the demon, offering a trade for "peace" with shira being the object of desire? Who did this woman think she was to suggest such a thing, did she honestly believe they would make such a deal?
Nano dashed right through the shadows once again, this time he dashed right through the boys shadow and into the shadows of the two bodyguards, he made his way right up into Saint Claras shadow moving up to the top of the throne he exited the shadows standing ontop of the throne "Tik tok, tik tok goes the clock, when the hand strikes high the blade will drop, when the hand strikes low the blade will chop, blood will pool and the crowd rejoice." His tail swang side to side as he spoke the rhyme. Nano began to hum the tune he had when he and Magnus fought, it was becoming more and more obvious that the madness he harboured was close to being out of control for the little demon.
Magnus growled as he heard Saint Clara's offer, but his eyes widened in surprise when he heard her divulge that they knew about the airship. Then they know about this being a diversion. Then why humor us? ...Of course. This is just LIKE Saint Clara; to play along with our game until she's ready to knock it off the table. How could I be so stupid!? I screwed up everything! Magnus's thoughts ran through his head in the seconds after Saint Clara gave her offer. Well...at least Nano probably got the hint and went to look for- Just then Nano poofed above Saint Clara on her very throne. Well...at least they didn't have to worry about pissing Saint Clara off anymore. "Nano you t**t! The plan was for you to sneak out and find the hostages not jump on Saint Clara and sing her a lullaby!! There's eight of them you TARD!" He yelled angrily. Oh no...we are so dead! We are so so dead! He had to salvage this situation somehow. "Kiki! NOW!" He yelled, holding out his hand for her to turn into Weapon form. He looked back at Shira and Takeshi. "Go find Atticus and Vincent!" He told them. "Nano if you're gonna get us killed you might as well go down swinging!" At least Shira wouldn't be killed here. Though she'd probably be the only one to tell the tale.
Nano's biggest advantage and the reason for his success in sneaking past Saint Clara's two bodyguards was that no one had expected him to do something so crazy. Though he was clearly being influenced by madness. Mary Weiss blinked in confusion and hesitated as she saw Nano appear above Saint Clara. "Wha...!?" She said. Shelle didn't even break a step. She spun in place, both blades out as she tried to behead Nano right there on Saint Clara's throne. "WOAH! Holy cow there was a demon in their shadows!?" Becky yelled excitedly as she quickly changed her angle and continued filming. "Stay back Becky!" Naomi yelled she got got into a fighting position. Were they actually trying to piss Saint Clara off!? She thought in surprise. They couldn't have done better if they had been; letting a little drooling demon hang over her head. Last time one had gotten that close to her without her permission several people had died very painfully. They might as well have spit on her. "Oh my gosh!" Becky cried from behind the camera lens. "Saint Clara's about to go all 'off with their heads' on these guys! Let's see how our Saint purges that filthy little demon!" She zoomed in on Saint Clara's throne where Nano still stood over her singing his strange rhyme.
Unbeknownst to all else, a tinny voice spoke in Saint Clara's earpiece. "Target in range... it whispered to her quietly.

◈ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ◈ Saint Clara looked back at the demon that was on her throne "Let's not forget about this thing and the kishin..." she muttered, knowing about them too it seemed. She looked calm but the sudden violent wavelength that filled the room said otherwise. She wasn't too happy about a demon on her throne. She stood up when she heard the voice in her ear "Machinists! Let's go ahead and lock these little guests away... I will figure out what to do with them after I take care of their friends. Leave them alive but you can go ahead and play around with them if you want. Especially the little demon that messed with my throne." she announced. A serious expression on her face as her gaze went to Magnus "You should have accepted my offer. Now I get the Shinigami and all of you will be wiped from existence in less than an hour." she told him before smirking. Saint Clara adjusted her earpiece then "Take out the airship." she said. She glanced towards where Shira was and saw that she had disappeared along with Takeshi. Her smirk grew "You won't get very far." she sung under her breath. "I may not know the full story here...mainly since I wasn't paying all too much attention to things...but couldn't you have played things more cool or something? Either way I don't mind how things are....In all truths I kind of prefer it....but...I say if we fight that when it's over you should let me at that Becky. Her voice annoys me and she talks way too much."

• Shadow Scythe: The second function to this ability is also rather simple but instead of creating a scythe, Nano fires a crescent shaped blade of darkness at his opponent which disappers after 3 feet, if it connects it also infects them with madness. (2 post cooldown)
• True Demon Form - Pitch Black: Nano attempts envelop the area around the fight he is in with absolute darkness (3 posts to activate, resets or stops if hit) if he is succesful then the area quickly turns black and any light source is either servely hindered or shut off completely until it disappers. This ability is able to turn a fight completely into his favour as he is able to easily shadow meld and leap out from unexpected areas. (Lasts 3 posts, 5 post cooldown)
• Demon Hound Form - Rolling Spikes: Nano rolls up into a ball and proceeds to roll towards his opponent at incredible speeds, upon connection Nano leaves spikes in his opponent which aren't easy to pull out.
• Demon Hound Form - Spike Missles: Nano faces his opponent as the gem on his forehead turns black then spikes begin to shoot out of the gem in a straight line at his opponent,, a momen ts later the spieks rupture causing them to become multiple tinier spikes. (2 post cooldown)

Nano simply laughed at Magnus when he yelled at him had he still not realised that this little demon had many many tricks in his head but the question was just what kind of tricks now that he was finally influced by madness "Shadows are what controls this world, not the light, do you think i fear them? That i fear these....these humans, these weak frail humans?" Nano grinned wickedly as he watched the weapon meister duo come into play "If you want to live boy, i would advise getting to Lady Shira before the blood bath begins in here." Nano knew even in his influced state that there was no way that they were going to really get out of this without a lot of blood spilt be it thiers or these machinists, the least the demon could do was give these two time to get to shira and work with her after all, he could take care of himself against multiple opponents. Nano noticed one of the bodyguards moved her speed was impressive but so was the his, Nano swiftly melded back into the shadows, dodging the attack and made his way back to Magnus, rising up out of the shadows changing into his true demon form "So who wants to feel what it likes to have thier spine ripped out through thier chest?" his voice changing into a very deep demonic tone as he watched all of the people here. Leon had disappered from the room in pursuit of Shira, this move by the demon was very stupid and but he knew exactly why he did it, to protect his "master" as Leon put it but no matter, he wouldn't be able to stop Leon with all the others in the room.
