Shira continued to smile at Aislin "We all get put in that position occasionally so it is understandable. Just go with a flow or heck even start looking for your partner, they could be stuck in a tree somewhere for all you know," she joked, her feet swaying slightly as they talked.

Aislin admired Shira's positive attitude. Here Aislin was grumbling and complaining and Shira was just smiling. "True. If they're stuck in a tree, I hope it's for a good reason." she said as she fiddled with the hem of her clothes. "Any news I probably haven't heard of yet?"

"His soul wasn't doing too well... and everything that happened with the Machinists... well... yeah..." she said before managing a small sad smile "So I'm kind of partnerless too right now..."

Aislin frowned at Shira's words and sudden change in demeanor. It pained her to admit it herself, but she had heard similar news and brushed it off as silly rumors. If she had known it was the truth, she would have visited a lot sooner. "Oh, Shira..." Aislin said taking Shira's hands in hers. "Things will be okay. I can feel it. We'll always have each other's backs. We can get through this slump." she said encouragingly.

Shira's eyes watered slightly as she heard Aislin's words of encouragement. After a few moments of silence, Shira wiped her eyes with her free hand and smiled at Aislin "Alright. Thank you," she said with a nod.

"Anything for a sister." she replied with a smile. Maybe it wasn't the best thing to cheer Shira up, but it had been enough. "Hm, maybe we need to go back to things that we used to do. Like camping. That was always fun. Really long hours to binge watching our favorite shows. When was the last time we did any of this?"

Shira continued to smile slightly "Not in a long time..." she said as she tried to recall the last time they had done something together. "We definitely should plan something. I could use a nice night with friends," she explained with a grin.

"Right? We can do pretty much whatever we want...within the boundaries of the law of course." Aislin said. "Hm, as much fun as something large scale as camping sounds we should probably just all spend a day in the city. Maybe like a picnic." she suggested before thinking of more ideas.

Shira muffled a small laugh "Right," she replied to Aislin's first statement. When she suggested a picnic, Shira smiled "A picnic sounds fun. We can also go window shopping and such," she suggested.

Aislin cheered and smiled. "It's perfect! Especially now that the weather's starting to finally agree with all my ideas, we can do this anytime you want. I'm always a call away." she reminded Shira. Then again, they used to see each other so much it was hard to forget there were other ways to communicate other then face-to-face.

Shira smiled warmly at Aislin and nodded "Alright... Thank you very much." Shira was very appreciative of her friend. They definitely needed to spend more time together now and Shira felt that was exactly what she needed: some quality time with a good friend.

Shira stood up as well, quickly hugging Aislin back before watching her leave. She smiled and waved at her friend as she left. Shira shut the door gently and stood there for a few moments. The smile vanished from her face and she stared at the ground quietly. What now? Shira eventually walked back upstairs to her room and closed the door behind her. She fell on her bed and stared at the ceiling for a few minutes before closing her eyes. The events that happened at the Machinists headquarters replayed in her mind. They would replay until Shira's heart would begin to race frantically until she felt nauseous. She would force herself to stop thinking about that until she calmed down and then she would think about the Machinists again. This happened again and again for hours until, the next thing Shira knew, it was morning. Shira opened her eyes finally, staring up at the ceiling as morning sunlight shone through the windows and illuminated the room. She sat up, frowning as she saw how wrinkly her clothes were. Overall, she didn't feel too clean. Shira got up then and walked to the bathroom and took a shower. As the hot water poured down on her, Shira couldn't help but wonder why her thoughts were just static now when earlier they were so busy she couldn't even catch an ounce of sleep. After her shower, Shira dried off, did her hair, and then went to the large dresser that was in her room. She glanced at the clothes available to her before something caught her eye. She glanced over and saw a desk with a ton of art supplies on it. In her towel still, Shira walked over and looked at the materials and, with it a note. She picked it up and read it. There were canvases, water colors, sketchbooks, pencils, and so on. All of it was from her parents. She smiled at the note they left her, feeling a bit better now. She was originally planning on just being in her room for the day, aiming to try and avoid Abel. It was nothing against him. She just felt the need to be left alone and didn't want to train or do what Abel had planned. Shira stared at the presents her parents got her before walking to her closet and getting dressed in a rather casual attire. She ran a brush through her hair and put several clips in it before grabbing a canvas as well as some paints. When she was sure she was set, Shira peaked out of her room and glanced around. It seemed like no one was around. With that, she quickly walked out of her room, through the halls, down the stairs, and out the door to go do some painting and clear her head ((shira-exit))
-After timeskip- Shira sat on a rather large comfortable couch in one of the living rooms on the floor of the mansion where her family's living quarters were. This included several rooms that had sources of entertainment. This one for example had a large television and a large amount of card and board games too. Her eyes scanned the sheets of paper in her hand quietly. She had invited Magnus over to hang out and also so she could read some of his writing. Over the past few months, they had become rather good friends which was nice. Going out with Magnus as well as Aislin and Dara helped cheer up Shira quite a bit since she had been down ever since the incident with the Machinists. After a few more moments of silence after sitting there for more than a half an hour, Shira looked up at Magnus with a smile on her face "This is really good!"

As the two were enjoying their, a sudden powerful presence would appear. Outside portal opened up in front of the mansion as strange figure steps out of the portal. The stranger was Max along with his familiar Natsu rest on his shoulder. Three months had since Max had been in Death City, he had been traveling around the world increasing his strength, skills, and magic. Now has returned after training. Why are we here? Natsu said tired and confused as Max began to walk towards the main entrance. I want to see how Shira and the others been. He said as he knocked on the door.
