Upon entering Kirigakure, Ren could tell upon first glance that the place was a wreck. It looked almost as though a technique had torn massive holes into the ground--almost the entire village, for that matter--and just...removed them? No, that wasn't quite what happened. Then he looked to the sky and saw the simply tremendous meteorite that hung lifelessly in the air. It was monstrous...completely unfathomable. Whoever--whatever--had chosen to make this village their target...they were trying to make a point. And they did a damn good job of it. However...something about all of this was off. When at the gates, Ren had noticed two things, one of which remained constant in this area. There was an incredibly high amount of loose water around, even for the mist village...but there was also a tremendous accumulation of wood near the entrance to the village. Normally, it would have been a good number of kilometers into the country before any sort of forest started to grow, but there it was. For some reason, trees had begun to grow at that point, smashing into the gate and causing severe property damage.
But there was just one problem. The trees were growing downward from the sky, into the ground. "I think we might have had more than just two attackers on our hands, Chris." Ren would speak for the first time since arriving in the area. Because of his bloodline, he was incredibly fast, and usually quick enough to take people off guard. But by now, Christian was used to it of all people. "At the gates, there were signs of a pretty hefty scuffle...and what appears to be a huge, upside-down forest that seemed to have grown from the air." Obviously, they were coming to the conclusion that their attack team included a Mokuton user, but that was besides the point. "It was a large enough scale to say that the attacker probably used Joutai Koukan...I'm not sure if the attackers in here were ever able to exit the area to battle at the gates...?" This question was more directed at Katsu--or anyone who partook in the fight, for that matter--but if Chris could somehow answer, he'd be perfectly willing to listen. "Not to mention the unnatural amount of water in the area, even for the Hidden Mist. The opponents we're dealing with here certainly don't paint us a very bright picture when it comes to battling them, do they...?"
For everyone, the situation was grim; from what he'd heard, two ninja walked into the village, nuked it, and left without much difficulty at all. That kind of power was the kind that made worlds tremble...if that power was allowed to grow, to bloom into fullness, the would would be in a lot more trouble than they were seeing now.

"...That's fine. I don't need a long life, I just need one that will let me protect my village," Katsu replied, his conviction firm. Those two people, Kleine and Lars, were not humans Katsu could accept. They were tyrants who played with power they shouldn't have, power they had no responsibility in handling. He had mastered the blade in inspiration of the Mist 7, in hopes that, when he became the strongest swordsman in the world, he would be able to strike down dictators like the ones that put his family and himself through hell. His life was only as much as his ability to complete this purpose. If it couldn't handle the Senju genes, killing him, that was only as much as it was worth. However, if it could allow him to stop those terrorists, those better-than-thou god-wannabes, he would gladly cut his span to 5 minutes to do so. Katsu knew, however, that what he was asking was a lot, not of himself, but of Christian. Despite it all, he had to. He had to. "I'm willing to take the chance, if it will avenge the Mist. Please."
Katsu, without any of his pride as the greatest swordsman in the world, kneeled in front of the Raikage Christian on his hands and knees, prostrating himself in humility and desperateness.
Current Chakra: 306 The three Turpi began to work in unison on the task of cleaning up the detritus that was left in the village. As such widespread destruction had occurred, he figured that the best course of action was to wipe the area clean and rebuild from the ground up. Much to his surprise a chuunin from his village began to assist in a manner similar to his own. Even more surprising was his usage of jutsu that resembled a more subtle version of Christian's technique from before. A single clone of the Mizukage split from the group of three and approached the young male. "Initiative. I like that in one of my ninja. I tell you what. When you finish replicating the ramen shop and clearing the debris in the adjacent lots, I want you to come find me. Your diligence will not go unrewarded. "(Improv mission! Word count adjusts your earnings.) As he finished speaking to the boy, the clone departed to leave him to his work.
Much to his chagrin, he was met with the sight of Katsu lying prostrate before Christian. As the other two clones toiled away, the third still dallied as he approached the scene that was playing out before him. With each step his indignation grew as the sight of Katsu bowing before the Raikage steadily filled more of his vision. Upon reaching a distance at which he was no farther than ten paces from either male, he began to speak. "Your village lies in ruins, and at this very moment every body counts in its repair. So why is it that you beg to take a risk?!...a risk that may or may not kill you. If you so desire to kill yourself in the name of the Mist, then work alongside your fellow ninja until your last breath is exhaled." He stepped closer as he spoke, until he asked the question. It was at this point that his voice lowered, partially to contain a seething tongue, and partially to maintain privacy to his ninja's dilemma. On one hand, it was admirable to do anything one could to serve their village. On the other, it is hard to contribute when one is dead.

Katsu paused, his kage coming into the conversation, the swordsman clenching his burnt fist. His leaders asks why. Why... "It is because I am sannin. I am the sword of the Mist Village, while you are the shield, my Mizukage. Those who wish the village harm came, and we attempted to shield it and strike down the enemy, but we failed. Both of us. However, a village without a shield is as good as gone. That is why the sword alone must be reforged to be strong enough to smite those that wish to do us harm. That is why I, and I alone, am qualified for this risk." Katsu would not take this risk if he didn't think it was necessary. If he did not think that he would be enough as he was to stop the enemy from coming back.
"So, please!" Katsu pleaded once more, pressing his head further into the ground towards Christian.
Begging and pleading. He wasn't sure what to do, or say. He was put into a difficult position. Katsu could die. In fact he probably would die. Perhaps not now. Perhaps somewhere down the line. And for what? He might not even unlock Mokuton. Christian sighed. He was desperate for something. It might've just been greed for a power that he was simply not otherwise born with. However, Christian emphasized. And Katsu was a grown man. He could make his own choices. The Raikage, after a while, nodded in agreement. "Fine. I'll give you some of my cells. It will be complicated. I'll... literally... need to like, stick my fist into your body and change things around. I'll have to alter your genetic make-up. It'll be extremely complicated, as I said, and you'll need immediate medical assistance afterwards." With that in mind, he sort of hoped that Kisuke would return soon. In case of any unprecedented errors.
"You'll also notice some changes. Your skin might discolor in some places. You might start feeling itchy for a while. Or you'll find yourself allergic to certain things. Or you might feel nauseous in the morning all the time. It could be like that for months. Years. You as a person will literally change. You will no longer have the same genetic make-up." He held his hand out, and allowed for it to blend. However, he did not begin the process yet. "If we do this, you'll have to check in with me every few months so I can see how you're doing. I can check to see if your chakra nature is distorting or if your health is degrading. If I see anything wrong, then... well." He sighed. "I'll try to do what I can to save you."

"...! Of course, whatever's necessary," Katsu said, looking up. The process would be like injecting a virus into his own flesh, yet he didn't back down. Katsu removed whatever excess swords or weapons or armor he had on to allow Christian to "inject" with more ease. In truth, Katsu didn't believe he would have much longer to live, even if the process worked, so the long-term effects didn't bother him much. Once he gained the power, he would request to hunt the criminals down. Few others would be strong enough to face them, not including the kages. "I'm ready." Katsu spread his arms, making himself vulnerable and open for the operation. He prepared himself mentally for the worst, yet kept a single image in mind. The image of everything around him, Kirigakure in all its glory ripped apart by two foolish extremists who believe they know everything about the world. They didn't. Because they did not understand the lengths Katsu would go to bring them down.
Aobi watched as the two clones ran off for paint and supplies. Just as he was finished making the framing of the ramen shop he heard a man speaking to him. When he turned however he was surprised to see who it was. The mizukage! He thought to himself as he let the lord finish speaking to him the look of determination grew upon his face. "Yes sir." Aobi nodded to the man as he began to walk away although a little smile crossed his face. It was the first time he had ever been recognized by the mizukage and he admitted it felt fulfilling. Turning his attention back to the task at hand he looked around at all that needed to be done. Instead of going piece he found an old wagon which still had it's wheels although the frame was in bad shape. Using his mokutin he formed a fresh new bed for it and began wheeling it around picking up debris. Where he could salvage trees bushes he would using his special bloodline.
He stopped for a few moments as the clones spoke to him mentally. Nodding his approval he wiped the sweat from his brow and kept moving. Aobi had made a few adjustments to the scenery but only where he thought necessary. It seemed to take a couple hours but with the wagon loading and moving the debris was a pretty simple task. After making a couple more trips to the debris pile the entire area surrounding the ramen shop and adjacent areas was clear. Aobi leaned against the wagon for a moment taking to collect himself. Although in order to keep himself motivated he thought of it as stamina training.
Clones 3 and 4- Looking at each after the orders were issued they nodded and began moving towards the pile of bodies. It would be no simple tasks but they began loading a body on each shoulder and moving them toward the graveyard. It seemed like such a pointless waste of life and the sentiment was shared between both clones. As they ran back and forth they counted the body total. It was well up over twenty in the one area alone. and there were still three more piles of bodies to go. Deciding it would be best to take another approach they asked the people at the gravesite if they could borrow a couple of their buggies.
"Yes you may have them." The grave keeper said to them. He seemed all to eager to help. Although to the clones it seemed as though the man was just interested in making himself a few dollars. His sly demeanor wasn't indicating he was purely trying to help out the village. However the"y didn't have time to squabble over right and wrong. Taking the buggies they quickly went to transporting the rest of the bodies over to the grave site. Upon returning to the ramen shop after their last trip they noticed the other clones had returned as well.
"Good work you guys this area looks pretty clear. Now let's work on finishing up the ramen shop." The four clones all grabbed a bucket of paint and a brush which the young lady had also provided and began quickly painting the ramen shop. While his clones worked on the outside aobi himself walked into the interior of the building. Once more using his mokutin he began making tables and stools for the patrons to sit on as well as a counter for the cooks to work. It took a bit but the inside formed into an almost exact replica of the ramen shop. Although aobi was happy with his work he didn't dwell on what he had accomplished. Instead walking back out of the shop he quickly grabbed the supplies out of the buggy before returning back to the interior to put things away. The clones had already finished the outside and were awaiting more orders but he figured they could wait till he was done.
" O my god! Thank you lord mizukage." He heard a lady scream as he finished putting away the supplies and headed back outside. "The place looks amazing how can we ever repay you." She said as she stood next to her husband and the mizukage looking at the place in awe. The couple hugged each other and ran into the shop in jubilation. As they went past aobi he simply smiled to the two of them and nodded as he went up to the mizukage. " Amazing such a little thing can make someone's day when they fear they have lost everything." Instead of announcing the work had been done he took a moment to share in the couples joy not caring that he didn't get the credit for it.

Kit stayed for a few short moments while new mist nin appeared. But after receiving his orders Kit bowed giving only a "Yes, my Kage." As an answer. Turning Kit removed a note pad and pen that he had on him at all times. Mostly for sport writing but he knew a few missions would require notes. Removing these object Kit turned and walked away to gain statements from the people of Kiri. Someone had to see someting, hear something, een smell something. Kit would not come back with nothing.
Kisuke's eyes widened when he realized he was given a mission, and it required agility and perceptiveness. Bending down a little, he grabbed some ashes and sniffed it before letting it fly through the wind. The mission was... to get medical supplies! He never knew what enemies were lying around, and since he didn't know there area he guessed by where the ashes were flying. That way! He stumbled over multiple bricks and boards of the destroyed village as he left the area that was currently considered a Ramen place. He soon realized he was heading towards the front of the village, where people were starting to show up. Would the medical center be near the front? He had no idea, but he ended up searching there for a very long period of time before coming across an elderly man rummaging around in what looked like an old home. Kisuke was about to turn away, but somewhere in his heart he felt like the old one should get some help. "Excuse me, are you looking for something? Perhaps I can help?"
The old man had no emotions in his eyes when he turned to look at Kisuke, he looked lost. "My Nana..." Kisuke blinked, is that his cat or something? He thought to himself, but didn't question it. He smiled at the old guy and started to help rummage around the destroyed shack. He hoped the Raikage wasn't looking for the medical kit right away, because the poor old man needed help. A lot of it. The broken down house still had its overall foundation, but all the wood and bricks caved in making it look like a burial sight. Before Kisuke could find anything, the old man let out a loud scream that made him sound young again. Kisuke rushed over, assuming that the old man had fallen or something but instead he came to find something more horrible than that. A dead old woman, covered in blood in bruises laid beneath a pile bricks and wooden planks. Kisuke couldn't help but feel bad for the old man, the way he threw his body over his dead wife, sobbing her name over and over. Nana wasn't a cat, it was a human being. Kisuke's eyes drooped a little, and he couldn't stand to watch what was happening before his eyes. He called out to some people out on the street, asking if they knew the man and would help him. Some shook their head, but a few people seemed to know who the guy was and started to help emerge the dead body and console the ugly wails to soft sobs.
Kisuke was lost in thought for several moments, sending a silent prayer for the dead before wiping his mind of the death and focusing his mind at the task at hand: Medical supplies. The more he waited, the more people could die without the Raikages first aid! He zipped through the front part of the village, the hospital obviously not there. He checked towards the back, and all he could find was a giant palace. It was obvious where it was now, and the minute he opened the doors he was greeted by some nice- cute- looking boy nurses. "Hey, can I get some medical supplies?
The sexy nurse smiled, nodding while he left him there. Kisuke, being his usual self, didn't stay there. He wandered around the Hospital, it was packed with injured ninja and civilians. Some people were dying before him, but he was too distracted day dreaming about the wonderful Raikage to notice. How hot Christian was... And he was super powerful and smart! His daydreaming had him tripping over a few people, in return he apologized a lot and waited for the person to find him again. It took a while, but they finally ended up slamming into each other on accident. The sexy nurse gave him some stuff... and his number. Smirking, he walked out of there feeling accomplished.
When he arrived at the ramen shop, he found the Raikage quickly. "Here ya go, gorgeous." He smiled flirtatiously as he handed the Raikage the supplies. "Anything else you need me to do?"

He brought his fist forward, and took a deep breath. Then, after a brief wait, he impaled Katsu through the chest. But it was not like being wounded; instead, Christian's flesh literally merged with Katsu's. It looked as if there were a seamless connection between the entry point and Christian's arm. The boy closed his eyes, and tried to perceive Katsu's chakra as adeptly as possible. He began to move his hand forward, until eventually it cautiously melded against the real center of Katsu's genetic data; his heart. The first contact would be extremely painful, and Christian cautioned him of that. "Don't move," he said. If Katsu moved, then he would die. "I'm going to deconstruct my arm. Yeah. Seriously." He sighed. What happened next was extraordinarily complicated; Christian began to spread his chakra, his cells, his flesh and his blood across Katsu's body. He reconstructed his body to literally pump different cells through his veins. He tried to suppress a scream, as it was akin to having your arm ripped apart by a horde of ravenous maggots or something like that.
It took some time. When Christian was done, he didn't exactly have to remove his arm from Katsu; it was completely severed. The place where Christian's arm impaled was discolored, and the skin looked scarred on the outlines. That was a permanent side-effect. Christian lifted his stub of an arm up, and slowly, painfully began to regenerate it using his medical techniques. Before his eyes, his arm reconstructed from scratch. The Uzumaki exhaled, and knelt down to try and recover from that awful process. He was so worn out that he barely even noticed Kisuke returning. His sight was blurred. His mind was all over the place. "Huh?" He asked. "Oh, sorry. Uh... set them down next to me. I'll get to that. Thanks, Kisuke." He rubbed his eyes, and gripped his arm. It was painful, still. It'd be painful for a while. "Well, you're done, dude. If you unlock the bloodline from that messy transformation, then congrats. I'm glad it was worth it. If not, then I'm gonna kick your a**. Before you inevitably die anyway." He laughed slightly. "What's your name, by the way...? I don't think you told me... or maybe I don't remember. I'm kind of in a daze right now. I might actually need a rest... or something."
(Saisei: Regeneration) Description: A healing technique is useless when a portion of a patient’s body has been destroyed. Burns from fire or acid, nerve damage from toxin, lung damage from some diseases, all simply can’t be healed away because the body has literally no means to correct them. This technique remedies the problem. By using healthy skin, muscle and other tissues, portions of a patient’s body can be reconstructed. This technique can correct most forms of damage but requires great effort on the part of the medical-nin and in the case of injuries that have gone unhealed for too long, the technique is only partially effective.
Katsu grit his teeth as the arm sunk in, feeling as if he was turned to liquid and being probed and stirred with a stick. Obviously not the most pleasant thing that's happened today... but not the worst.
As Christian pulled out, detaching, Katsu breathed in and took the pain, trained to ignore physical alments from young age. However, this was different. The pain was more than physical, or mental. The pain was beyond something the brain was capable of comprehending, something it was never ment to comprehend.
"My name's Katsu... Naikiri... And... I'm alive?" Just as Katsu began to wonder whether the process worked or not, like a sign, a strange energy surged through his body. It hurt, yet was powerful. If he had to compare it to something, it would be a river. The power could flood out, drowning him, yet he instead found his vessel, his creek to be large enough for it to flow through. Tattoos emitted from the scar on his chest, moving like living thing across his skin until completely covering Katsu in its mark, dressing the man as a devil. And then... he passed out, a river in healing after destroying a dam.
He had zoned out for several moments, just staring at the ground with a small cold expression that was hard to spot on Kisuke these days. The Raikage thanked him, and then turned his attention to a very injured guy. Should I help him? He asked himself, wondering if he should take the time to help an enemy shinobi that was doing nothing but taking his precious Raikage's energy. Katsu was the guys name, and he asked if he was alive. Hah, well obviously he is what a stupid question, the Hachiba inside of him revealed his voice after a while. It seems the old demon had been asleep. While Hachiba couldn't understand, Kisuke might know why he was so quick to assume he was dead. Lord Christian was an angel, and to look at him while injured you don't mind if your dead forever. Kisuke watched for several more moments, until finally reaching his hand out to the fallen guy- just as he closed his eyes to pass out again. Kisuke rushed forward to keep his fallen body from falling anymore. "Lord? Should we burn the body with the others?" Kisuke asked, not understand one bit of medical jutsu. [/exit/poof/disregardhewaseverhere]
Aobi was happy with the progress he had made but knew there was still work to be done and that he needed to get better. As a clone approached he nodded to his wooden duplicate. "Stay here in case the kage needs something I am going to go train a bit." Nodding to the clone he waved as he headed towards the training grounds.

Katsu, after certain circumstances that made it extremely difficult to post, got up. He felt different as he stood up, calmer, the insecurity of strength fading away into the background. Looking at his arms, he found there were no tattoos as he had thought earlier. Perhaps they had simply been for show. Maybe they receded for now. Perhaps his body had proven stronger than the Senju cells anticipated, eating them up. Whatever the case, Katsu was weakened for now and needed time to rest and recover before attempting his crusade. Oh, that, and he only has a kindle for six days of the week to keep up with his favorite guild. He believed he would recover from the process in two weeks.
"…Okay, enough of that. What does the village require of me?" Katsu asked, blunt unlike his specialty. He didn't care for political talks and communicated more through his blades than little gossip. However, if this was all essential for the survival and thriving of the Mist Village, he would cooperate.
