It was bad enough that neither of his familiars liked heights, but to know that the ice dragon that they would be riding on would not being going slow, Lloyd he could hear their thoughts screaming through his head. Now, there was no way for him to soothe both his familiars at the same time, not without almost falling off and either dying or breaking a lot of his bones. "Just stay still." Then, they were up in the air. The rapid feel of the wind against his skin was a bit of an adjustment, to say the least, but after only moments of being in the air, the feeling became bearable. What would not become bearable however, was the icy feeling beneath his rear end and he did not think it would become bearable until either he dismounted from Hyroinmaru, or the ice dragon decided they needed to get off. The landscape beneath and around them seemed to blur as they soared the skies. In this distance, their base became a smaller figure until he could no longer see the shape of it, and instead, saw a dot. Naturally, the speed continued to increase until and when it felt as though he would be knocked right off of the ice dragon's back, he leaned forward and against Ignazio. Despite the Knight usually being the brace for their King to hold onto, this time, the roles were reversed. If he did not hold on, he would fall. Celebron dug his claws into the layer of fabric that comprised Lloyd's blazer before the Knight could grab hold of the cat and place him within the pocket of the blazer. It was a bit of a tight fit, and where Celebron generally would have complained, the Cat Sidhe remained absolutely quiet. "I am very much alive, flying lizard." Alive yes, but fine, no. Sirzechs hated heights and the only one who seemed to hate heights more was Celebron. The Cat Sidhe had dug his claws so deep into his blazer that it came very close to piercing into is vest and likewise the shirt beneath the vest. To say that Celebron disliked heights would be a complete understatement. He hated them, and being on top of an ice dragon going way to fast for his own good, he could not have been in more of an uncomfortable position. Sirzechs had pushed himself closer to Lloyd's chest while Celebron clung to his shoulders as if he was going to be taken awat at any time. To ease his familiar's stress, he quickly grabbed the Cat Sidhe from his shoulder before pushing him into his blazer's pocket. It was indeed a bit of a tight squeeze, but the Cat Sidhe was not exactly large, and if it meant he was in a safer position, he did not care much. Watching as the scenery blurred by beneath them, he waved, much like a child would, as their base began to shrink in the distance.
With the changing of the landscape the air around them suddenly got extremely hot. Had the entered the desert? He had always said that he would hate the desert if he ever had the bad luck of being sent there. But, being i nthe desert now, he had to take his former comment back. He absolutely despised the desert. The amount of heat in such an area was completely ungodly. In fact, it was simply uncalled for, but as they proceeded to fly, Lloyd found himself leaning onto Ignazio. He had failed to mention the Hyorinmaru had no sort of reigns for him to hold onto as well, and so as to not fall when they began their descent he simply clutched tightly to the male's back. When they had spotted the ruins, Lloyd managed to peak over Ignazio's shoulder only to see sand. Being in such a position was horrible for Lloyd. He felt utterly helpless, and quite frankly, at the mercy of whatever Ignazio had Hyorinmaru do. With the plan being for him to strike when they were close enough, he nodded slightly before resting his head back on Ignazio's back. Another of Ignazio's familiars soon came to join them in the desert before following the orders of her master. Needless to say, an explanation of the plan itself soon followed, and while he would have listened on a normal day, he still had nothing to do. So, until a plan actually involved him, he would count the minutes until his feet were allowed to touch some portion of the ground again. "I'll leave Titus to you, and trust you to cover me should I need it."
Victor looked back to see that the mist had begun to seep into through the barrage of arrows that bore through the ruin's walls. A good part of the assault squads that had positioned themselves to defend had been overcome by it's freezing effects. Alexandria called for them all to retreat to the lower levels. While Titus hadn't given the order, almost all of them seemed to listen to Alexandria lest they stay behind and freeze. We have Aria, this mist isn't unstoppable. He thought as he looked back to Titus. “Let's follow them. We can't defend a breached chamber. Underground we can at least avoid the arrows.” Victor said as he began to move. He looked at the map in his hands and realized there was several escape routes they could take but that would be simply stepping out to their deaths. Traveling down the stairs and through the secret passage, he saw Alexandria leading the way. The others began to fill the cavern and so Victor began directing them. “Aria, erect barriers in order to plug those passages and keep out the mist. If they want to play, they need to come in and play.” Victor said to himself, looking over to Alexandria who looked eager to retreat yet not too determined to fight. He stayed close by Titus, not leaving his side. He then leaned over to whisper something to him as the others began to huddle in order to keep warm. “Don't join them in the crowd, stay at the back of the cavern where it's most defensible.” He whispered to him before removing his backpack and pulling out his white parka. “Here.” He said, giving it to Titus to wear. Victor was not wearing a shirt and only had pants and his vest for cover but showed no signs of being cold. He led them to a location in the caverns where they could both stand alone. At this point of panic, the traitor would emerge. I know I would take the opportunity. Victor said, looking over at Alexandria before looking up at the barriers the Aria built. He clapped his hands together and made a sign that Aria knew as the sign of Rin. “NamaH sarvatathagatebhyaH sarva” Victor chanted and suddenly, small ghosts of flame rose from the ground and began to circle Victor. He extended one hand towards Titus and these spheres began to dance around him, keeping him warm and guarding him. With that done, Victor began to look over the map for the few seconds he had as the sound of the arrows continued. There were several passages out of the caverns and traps were well placed but Victor wanted them defended. The cavern ceiling above was enough to hold of immediate attacks but the place being invaded was likely. With saying a word, the others seemed to find these passages and put up their guard. They were trapped in a hole and looked like there was no way out. To anyone it would look like the finale to the exam but Victor knew that at this point was when an animal was at it's most dangerous.

Titus nodded as Victor began to move, telling him to follow the rest of the team. As they reached the underground cavern, Victor began to use his authority to the team's advantage. If they were quicker with their reactions to the mist, they could have easily plugged up the mist from entering early on. However, those arrows still posed a huge threat, creating random holes into the stone walls and allowing more mist in. Going underground seemed to be the best move for them, even if it meant leaving their headquarters unmanned. No one could leave or enter the black abyss anymore anyways..
Victor whispered to the young half breed, telling him not to join his soldiers. One reason why he hated king had arose; He was much too important to recklessly fight as he was planning to do during the exam, and he had to be protected. His brow twitched as he listened to the whispers, but he silently agreed with his knight. There was no time to act like a child, if they were going to come out winning the fight. As they moved to the aforementioned spot, the burly man got out his backpack, and handed the silver haired king a parka. A confused look arose on the half breed's face, seeing as the man was only wearing a vest and some pants as a counter for the cold. "Aren't you-" Seeing as how he was standing there firmly without any noticeable sign he was cold, the young man sighed, and hesitantly took the parka. 'Really now...' The half breed shook his head a little as he put on the parka, feeling that it was a little hard to move in. He wasn't gonna wear it for too much longer, that was for sure.
After the half breed finished putting on the white parka his knight had handed to him, he looked over to see he was chanting something. Soon after the chant was done, wisps of fire surrounded the apparent aria. The boy's eyes widened in surprise, as the wisps surrounded him, giving him a strangely warm feeling. "Thanks!" Was all the boy said to the aria, as he watched the fire dancing around him. He was tempted to touch the flames, but suddenly remembered the situation they were in. Shaking his head, he looked toward his remaining teammates who were in battle position. The parka was actually beginning to bother the half breed, but he said nothing as he reached for his sword. As long as it didn't get in the way of that, he would be willing to leave it on for the time being.

The wigged familiar began to move away from the frozen mist spewing from the mouth of the Wyrm as it made its pass. Upon hearing the voice of her master Garuda nodded her head. She didn’t know for sure if her arrows hit any targets, but she knew the arrows of wind were enough to shatter the stone, and with the mist ”Yes, of course master. It shall be done.” Gaurda circled back as she spoke and lowered her body to the ground. Sand flew up as her large wings flapped, keeping her in a hover. Pulling back on the string; wind began to compress into a single arrow before she released the arrow towards the building. As the arrow flew towards the torn building it exploded and scattered into over a hundred arrows which stabbed through the wall of ice, and then through the frozen mist before stabbing into the building. As the arrows made a connection to the inner area of the temple, the frozen mist created by Hyorinmaru reacted; the mist expanded its distance with the connection of the wind creating giant pillars of ice in the directional path of the different arrows of wind. Gaurda’s wing flapped as she pushed her body to the right and began to rapidly fire arrows in a line as she was instructed. She continued to move back and forth along the same line firing the arrows into different portions of the ice wall. She watched as the wind chipped and shattered through the ice and made its way on its own path towards its new target. The Pazuzu’s wings flapped hard as she moved to the next section she was ordered to perform the same task upon the other wall.
”Sure, I can do that” the dragon growled before chuckling and opening its mouth to finish completely sealing off the ruins in the dome of ice. The large frozen wings flapped hard and as the ghostly mist moved across the top layer of the ruins freezing it completely over. Hyorinmaru’s eyes scanned to the left as the dragon watched Garuda perform her task, and with great beauty the demon couldn’t help be give a hard flap of his wings to move away from the ruins after finishing the frosted wall of ice. ”The barrier is complete, so now to find you a good spot to land.” The demon said as his wings pounded against the warm air, chilling it with every beat. Soon the great dragon found himself in front of the ruins, where the entrance was in direct sight behind the icy wall. Hyorinmaru was about one thousand meters away from the main entrance as his body lowered to the sand. The dragon’s icy claws touched the hot sand. Hyorinmaru let out a roar causing the sand under his claws to become a disc of ice. The dragon lowered his body and began to growl happily from his throat, almost as if he was a cat. ”Ah! This feels nice. I’m going to take a little break while you do what you need to, let me know when you’re ready to finish what we started. I am a little upset though master. No one came out of the ruins, but I can sense a lot of human life, as well as the lives of demons within the walls of that place, do you think they were decoys created by an Aria spell?” Hyorinmaru asked as he spread his body along the ice and wagged its large tail in the air, before slamming it into the sand causing it to freeze. Hyorinmaru closed his eyes as he began to drift off into a light slumber. The beast’s mouth opened as he yawned. ”Wake me, when I’m needed.”
OOC: Technically I didn't make up an attack, I just gave it another name. Its two opposing forces that create something else. The two forces are actually demon techniques already, so when Innocentius and Hyorinmaru are used together they use basic chemistry to make a new technique. So I haven't violated any rules in the least. This could also come into place with fatal verses that use the same principles. I'll explain more to you in PMs if you want.
Ignazio found it a little difficult to breath with Lloyd holding on for him so tightly, so once Hyorinmaru landed it was a good opportunity for him to breathe. ”Lloyd, we’re on the ground now. You guys can relax.” he said smiling as he removed Lloyd’s hands from him and then pulled his left leg over the dragon’s long neck and pushed off before landing into the soft pile of sand. The tamer sighed as he covered the top of his head with his left hand to shield himself from the sun. ”We should finish this quickly. What you see before you is a dome of ice, created by the fog of liquid nitrogen Hyorinmaru released while we circled the fatal verse I cased before. Because of the level of power Hyorinmaru possesses the fatal verse’s Qi signature was recoded with the demonic principles, causing its effect to change as well as the color. Making it one large fog of the liquid nitrogen rather than the outer frozen layers, when Garuda introduces an arrow into the fog the fog will instantly react and freeze everything within that path. You see, everything within that dome is at a temperature no human can survive in. It’s what people call an absolute zero. Which is why I gave it the name Niflheim, a frozen hell deserves a name worthy of its power.” The tamer said as he began to walk away from the dragon. Ignazio bent down and placed his left hand on the hot sand before looking at the talismans in his right hand. The tamer laid the slips of paper along the sand before him and closed his eyes. ”Spirit of Earth, that sleeps within the talisman, hear me, and grant me your power.” he chanted as the sheets of paper merged with the sand. Ignazio stood up and opened his eyes as he clapped both his hands together; with the clasping of his heads together the spell written on the cards activated. A large green glyph appeared under Ignazio; not too much long later the ground began to shake rapidly as the sand began to be pushed away as solid stone formed along the range. The sand sat along the bottom edge of the stone land mark that stretched out for two miles from the caster’s position. Ignazio turned around and looked at the area he had created with his talismans and nodded his head. ”This is the most I can do for you in terms of granting you proper footing. I have to save some of the talismans for other purposes.” he called over to Lloyd, as she showed the recovered stone ground that was buried by the sea of sand. Ignazio sighed as he looked up to the sky and then over at the frozen palace he had created with the help of his familiars.
”Lloyd, do you think you can do me a favor? Do you think you can destroy that whole place in a single go? I was originally going to summon Innocentius, and have him reverse the heat around the frozen area around the ruins in the adjacent region. The bitter cold and scorching heat would easily be divided into two section, and decreasing the kinetic and rotational energy of everything within the given area, from this the surplus of energy could be released into the other section in the form of heat.” Ignazio began to explain as he walked towards Lloyd who was still on Hyorinmaru or to be exact would eventually be coming down from Hyorinmaru if his butt wasn’t frozen to the dragon’s back. The male stepped down into the sand from the stone and walked closer to the dragon. “Thus the opening I’m having Garuda create. This way, conservation of energy is still maintained while applying the principle of reverse entropy from thermodynamics. In short, the whole place would explode in the form of a massive bomb before any one inside could react.” he continued to explain before stopping and placing his right hand on his hip and then extended his left hand outwards and placed it on his chest softly. ”My mission, for the most part deals with Titus, but that’s personal; the official assignment I was given was to get him to admit defeat or destroy the base. Because I don’t want to kill everyone inside, I figure you could destroy the place giving their Aria’s enough time to create a barrier that can at least protect them for the most part. I mean a few may be killed in the process, but it’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make in order to end this. You should have more than enough area on the stones I brought from underneath all the sand. If you need a higher altitude, I can give you a boost.” Ignazio said as he smiled and then turned to face the frozen ruins. ’I still don’t know a lot of information on Excalibur, and there aren’t a lot of books about that demon sword, but legends about the sword’s power is more than enough to peak my attention. I’ve only seen him wield the blade once, and that really didn’t show the true powers of the blade, seeing how it would destroy the whole academy if utilized at its full potential. At this point, I’ll have to get him to use it so I can analyze it as fast as possible and come up with a counter attack, just in case. Hopefully he doesn’t take a second thought and just uses Excalibur.’

Once again, the world around Lloyd seemed to go blank as Ignazio and his familiars spoke. If it did not involve his feet rejoining the ground which gravity constantly tried to make sure they all remained attached to, he was not listening. Why did he have to suggest flying over on Hyorinmaru? What was he thinking, and was there any way for him to go back in time and reverse it? Fortunately, when they continued to lower out of the air itself, his face lit up with a smile. Aside from his face, the faces of both Celebron and Sirzechs also lit up with joy. In his joy, he completely forgot that he had been clinging onto Ignazio, so when the male moved his hand and dismounted, Lloyd cleared his throat once twice before dismounting. Landing soft sand below, his face immediately dropped. This was like a Knight's worse enemy, aside from facing a better swordsman. In order to confirm his thoughts about the sand itself, he began to move his feet through the sand, but was careful not to actually move around too much. "No grip." If he could not place his feet on the ground correctly then he could not wield his sword efficiently. More explanations on what had occurred before them before Ignazio had begun to walk away from them. But, in mere moments the ground shook before solid stone lifted from the sand and took form as a large pathway. Just the sight of the sand alone was enough to cause Lloyd to start moving forwards through the sand. Finally. He would be able to stand on real land and he simply could not wait.
Needless to say, as he approached the newly created stone, Ignazio had stopped in front of him in order to speak once more. All he needed to hear was Ignazio ask him if he could destroy the entire place to know what was required of him. The elder male wished to see the power of Excalibur, and in response to the question, Lloyd looked away from Ignazio and in the direction of the ruins itself. Due to the sheer destructive power of Excalibur, he had sworn to only use the blade in times of emergency, and never simply just because he wanted to. If he was going to decimate the base itself, then there would be no stopping Excalibur once its power had been unleashed. What if one of the students from True Cross Academy had been caught in the blast once Excalibur had been fired? Could he live on with the knowledge that he had caused their death. The inner conflict never seemed to end, especially because of the exam itself. Only those who had been present in the room with him had seen Excalibur, but now, he would be showing any who decided to watch the exams for simply a means of entertainment. Sighing softly, he looked to Ignazio. "I will show you Excalibur, simply because you showed me your Trump Card. Take whatever notes I think you are going to take on my blade." Winking at the male he moved towards the stone before jumping up and onto it. Celebron jumped out from his Blazer as Sirzechs went to the ground as well. Removing his blazer from his body, he folded it nicely and placed it onto the ground. Rolling his shirt sleeve up to his shoulder, he closed his eyes slowly. “Control the skies and rip through the land. From the dragon who bites the throat of tigers and to the lion that seals the Dragon’s Fate. Awaken, Excalibur!”
Opening his eyes, he put his hand to the tattoo on his left shoulder blade before watching as the tattoo glowed a golden color. Slowly but surely, the blade's hilt came out from the tattoo and as he grabbed hold of it, the entire blade was pulled out from its seal. Holding Excalibur in one hand, he brought his thumb up to his mouth before biting down on it. When blood began to drip from his thumb, he lifted the blade up before placing his thumb against the blade itself. Running his hand down the blade, he made a long streak out of blood before holding the blade before him. There were times in which Excalibur would not accept his offering, but this time, the blood that had been placed on the blade glowed brightly before disappearing within the blade itself. The offering had been accepted. Placing both of his hands along the hilt of Excalibur, he watched as a fierce golden wind swirled around the blade itself before it blade became gold in color. In its change in color, he gripped it tightly before lifting the blade high above his head. With the blade held above his head, golden energy began to swirl around his feet creating a small circle of energy. Closing his eyes slowly, small golden orbs of light began to lift out from the very ground itself near his feet. The sand, the ground he stood on, and soon enough the area around them had been filled with the golden orbs of Lloyd's Qi that had slowly began to move in the direction of Excalibur. As more and more golden orbs of light progressed towards Excalibur it seemed to become something of a golden dust as they all converged on the tip of Excalibur's blade before moving down the blade itself. With each new addition of golden light, the blade began to shine brighter and brighter. "The light itself shines brightly. The sword embodies the dreams that all warriors-past, present, and future- hold as their deaths approach. A sad, yet exalted dream. Through Excalibur, Lloyd carries their will as his pride, bidding them to remain steadfast in their loyalty. The undefeated Knight then sings aloud the name of the miracle he holds within his hands." The pulsing light on Excalibur began to move around as though it were a golden flame and as he opened his eyes, his grip on the Holy blade tightened. Taking a step forwards, energy began to ripple outwards, which would cause those who could not brace themselves in time to begin to slide back and away from Lloyd's position. "That, is Excalibur and the power it possesses is something that can not be described." The Cat Sidhe paused as he saw Lloyd prepare to release the power that made all demons fear the sight of Excalibur.
"Caliburn!" exclaimed Lloyd before swinging the blade downwards at his target, the ruins. The instant his blade went down, the intense light that had been condensed on his blade was released outwards a wave of golden energy. The destructive light mowed through the stone walkway that had been created for Lloyd to stand on and continued on its course smashing through any and all things that got in its way. When the light came into contact with the White Team's base, the base rumbled from the sheer force of Excalibur's attack. Within moments, the light had slowly begun to dissipate, and if any were to look in the direction of the ruins themselves, the whole top portion of the base had been completely destroyed. When the light completely faded, nothing remained in its wake. If their were some sort of underground beneath the ruins themselves then he prayed the White Team had taken shelter beneath the surface. Otherwise, there would be no bodies to find due to Excalibur. For a moment, Lloyd remained absolutely still before his body rocked back and forth. Falling onto his butt, he remained completely still as he breathed outwards slowly. What remained of the stone walkway that had been created was only the small portion he was standing on. The feeling of having all of his Qi taken from him and used by the blade for power was not a pleasant one. Overtime, he would get used to such a feeling, but now was not that time. Holding the blade to his left shoulder blade, it was quickly re-absorbed into the seal before he rolled his sleeve back down. "T-There....What had once been ruins is now no more..." Pushing upwards, he managed to make it to his feet before turning to view Ignazio for the reactions of either him or his familiars. Although, the reaction he did not want to hear was his father's. Before he had left, he may or may not have heard his father tell him not to use the blade but it was too late now.
Ooc: Lloyd, I edited your Qi back to the actual amount. If you remember using a demon weapon, they have their own set amount of Qi and different techniques use a different amount of Qi from the weapon. Because Excalibur has a large amount of Qi it doesn't require the wielder to use their own Qi when the weapon is at it's full amount. Don't forget if you run out of Qi, you will faint. No matter how much mobility you have. Please keep that in mind. Review the Demon Weapon information if you are confused or fill free to ask me. Other than that please continue on everyone.

Akemi was eating her meal quietly, away from where everyone else was sitting. The words of others echoed in the area, so many were spoken at a given time that she really couldn't make out anything anyone was saying. She was enjoying her time alone, she didn't have to worry about anyone bossing her around or talking about mindless things. Looking around the room she took another bite and noticed that Victor had moved over and sat next to Alexandria. The looks on their faces indicated that maybe they two of them were having a serious conversation, perhaps something personal. Titus had got up from his place and started to walk over to victor but also noticed the two were engaged in conversation and turned on his heel, giving the two space.
Akemi had just finished her food when all of a sudden fog had started to enter into the cavern and slowly fill in the air. Some of the students started to panic while others wondered what was going on. Akemi calmly stood up from her seated position. Alexandria Ordered for everyone to escape into one of the areas below them. Frozen arrows came piercing through the fog and the area around them had started to freeze.'He's here.' She knew those arrows extremely well. In fact she was almost killed by them back at the academy. Ignazio and his familiars were always a hassle. Akemi followed the rushing crowd into the chambers the scouts and Alexandria were leading, hoping to not freeze to death.
The caverns they escaped into where dark and only lit up by the number of flashlights the participants had on them. The air started to get colder and colder as if they were walking around in a blizzard without snow. Akemi started to shiver and rubbed her hands together only to breath into her palms."I'm gonna kill him." Akemi complained. If there was anything in this world that she hated it was to be cold. It was the most uncomfortable feeling, she had always wondered if that was the same coldness a person felt when dieing. To keep herself in working order Akemi had to find a way to keep her body temperature warm enough to survive but low enough that people would start asking questions. Akemi begun to focus her Qi into her own body and heated up the molecules within. As her body started to warm up she was able to start relaxing a bit more and allow herself to forget about the freezing temperatures they were in.
The footsteps of them group echoed in the halls as they traveled beneath the surface. ' I wonder what our next move is going to be. Ignazio trapped up like rats, knowing we would be stuck inside his ice prison.' She thought to herself and looked up to the front of the group where Alexandria was, then to turn around and look back to where Victor and Titus were located. 'I wonder what our two strategists are planing.' Then a loud crashing sound was heard from above their heads and akemi stopped in her tracks at looked up a the ceiling. Dirt started to fall from the ceiling as the vibrations shook them free from the walls. The ruins above had just been destroyed, even and idiot could come up with that conclusion from just the sound alone. And if that was the case then their base had just been destroyed, and they had no remorse for who was inside the walls.

The cavern above Team White shook violently as the power of Excalibur flattened the ruin’s above. Large cracks forming across the ceiling as the ancient stone shifted, at first only specs of dust falling down from above. But the Team wouldn’t be given but a few moments of peace- as large rocks began tumbling down: The cavern was caving in!
With only three clear exits, members of Team White were forced to make a decision- head for a south eastern exit, a western exit or for the furthest exit on the northern side. The large group ran in all directions, splitting off towards the different exits as terror set in. Some would fail to make their objective, dying as rock impaled or drug them down into the soft sands. Many however would reach the south eastern and western exits, only to be met by violent explosions of some sort of trap. It would seem a traitor was among them. With the cavern above crumbling away with a quicker pace- only one exit remained. The small tunnel of frozen light on the far side of the cavern.
The tamer smirked as he was caught red handed in his attempt to obtain information on Excalibur from a second hand experience. ’Guess that means I can’t hide anything from you; doesn’t it Lloyd.’ he thought to himself as he listened to the words being uttered by Lloyd proudly. ’An invocation? I see so that’s how he calls forth the sword. It’s seal directly inside of his body.’ Ignazio thought in amazement as he watched as the sword was drawn from the tattoo on his left shoulder. The young tamer didn’t even know Lloyd had such a marking on his body. If that was the case, he and Lloyd were more similar than he thought. Ignazio upper body was covered in demonic markings thanks to a family last resort summoning circle. But to think that Lloyd had to endure something similar was almost not as shocking as he stood there in amazement. His face didn’t change expressions until the blade was fully released; the golden blade and the divine language of the fairies written along the blade was enough to bring the boy’s eyes to tears. The male’s brown locks swirled and spiraled before his eyes slowly as the wind had picked up. The golden spheres of light that came from the sand, and from the sky gathered towards the golden blade. ’This light...’ he began to think to himself before the cat demon began to explain to him what the light truly was. It was the first time Ignazio could say he actually witnessed something so beautiful and majestic on a divine level like this. ’So…they are souls?’ he questioned as the wind grew in speed and strength as Lloyd’s footing changed. ”This Qi, burns like fire but has the range of the wind itself.” he said as he raised his arms up in front of his face to shield himself from the growing winds that was projected by the energy Lloyd had gathered. The sheer force of the Qi alone was enough to knock the tamer away if he wasn’t careful. ’So this is Lloyd’s power…the power of Excalibur. Now I understand; the reason why he’s so refined; in order to accept these wishes and dreams, he can’t allow his personal feelings to distract him. A light so brilliant, that even thinking to call it beautiful would be like spitting on the blade itself.’ Ignazio twisted his feet down into the sand to keep himself supported with his combat boots.
”So this is…Excalibur” the male muttered as he watched as the sand glittered with the same golden light and coated the blade as the energy burned away at the particles converting it into pure Qi. The golden light was brighter than even the tamer’s Qi, to think that such a force could be found within a single weapon, it was all shocking to the male. As Ignazio tried to read the specific sequence of Qi, but the amount of Qi being generated changed too frequently for the tamer to keep up with; analyzing a weapon with this much Qi with his level of skill was impossible, which would mean defending against it or even countering it would be just as difficult. ”Magnificent” he called out as his eyes squinted as the weapon seemed to be ready to fire, right as Lloyd called out the weapon’s name, Ignazio watched carefully as the blade released all the built up energy into a high frequency blast of pure kinetic energy. ’Simply wonderful, so much power’ he thought to himself as his body was being pushed back from the shockwaves spreading from Lloyd’s swing alone. The connection of the burning light to the ground seemed to cut through everything, actually to correct that, it burned through everything. The very land before the swing of the blade was rendered to nothing. With the connection to the Frozen Hell Barrier, Ignazio’s eyes widened as he noticed the effect had originally planned to use with Innocentinus had still occurred ”This is…Inferno…” Ignazio muttered with a slight shaking in his voice, the male’s body began to be pushed in a different direction as the blast took over and completely destroyed the ruins that were encased in ice. The swirling flames reached into the sky, threatening to destroy the very heavens watching down upon the world.
Ignazio lowered his arms after the light began to fade and the circular spiral of energy had faded completely. The spell caused by Hyroinmaru had been completely obliterated in the process of a single strike. ’No, that wasn’t Inferno, the energy wasn’t in sync, but it gave the same catastrophic result all on its own. What the hell is Excalibur?’ the male asked himself as he turned to face Lloyd after the sword was sealed away where it belonged. ’He possesses something, so dangerous, I don’t even think an S-Class demon can even stand up to. Something like that…it’s beyond humanly possible, and yet he’s able to wield it.’ Ignazio took a step backwards but stopped his foot before completing the step, he turned his head to face the destroyed area and the destroyed stone and sand path that was perfectly melted. He looked over at Lloyd and smiled. ”Nice job, I don’t think they survived a blast like that, but, just in case. I think we should check the area.” Ignazio said as if he wasn’t amazed by the feat, but his face and body said otherwise, he was hesitant of getting too close to Lloyd after using a technique like that but then again, he didn’t think the male would allow something like that to kill him. Ignazio reached down to his holster and pulled out another tarot card, this time it had the picture of a Knight on it, and it read Justice along the bottom. Moving his left hand towards his mouth Ignazio reopened the original puncture area to draw blood for his summons and ran his thumb down the face of the card. ”Let the gates in all directions be shut, rising above the crown, and let the three-forked roads to the Kingdom revolve. Stand up for your King! Come forth, Innocentius!” the male chanted as his body was circled in flames. He turned his head and looked towards Lloyd. ”Rest up for a bit, I’ll take it from here for now. Innocentius, Garuda, and Hyorinmaru go check for survivors, thoroughly. Even if Lloyd’s weapon destroyed that place completely there should be some form of bone or ash left that was human, and even demons have resistant bodies. Go forth and bring me any that survived the blast!” he called out as he turned and waved his left hand away from him. Slowly moving his right hand down to the holster he placed the card of Innocentius back safely. And stood up before crossing his arms over his chest. ’I wonder…could it be possible for them to have died so easily? Even after my sneak attack with the fog transformation, they shouldn’t have been alive or moving, but some still were moving within the walls. It could be possible they tried to flee the area.’

Flames rapidly rotated around the base of Ignazio’s body before coiling around him into a rage, as the roar of a monster came from the flames. With the tamer being engulfed in the flames, the ice underneath the Wyrm began to melt. A black outline of a body engulfed in crimson and golden flames with two large red eyes came forth from the flames. The creature towered over the boy whom summoned him and looked towards the destroyed area before roaring once again; but this time the roar was more so in the form of a yawn than a battle cry. ”You summoned those two before summoning me? How rude of you, master” the fiend growled with a deep, towering voice that was truly one belonging to how a demon was said to sound like. The beast hissed as he spoke before moving forward in the blazing heat which only seemed to triple from the summoning of Innocentius. ”But I assume, you must really want this enemy dead, to have the nerve summoning me in an area where my powers are maximized.” the demon hissed as he traveled through the sand, leaving behind a trail of melted sand behind which soon began to solidify to glass. The fiend continued to move forward leaving behind a trial of melted sand in his wake. ”So, the young princess is here, I’m shocked she didn’t give you a run for your money yet Hyorinmaru, we all know Iblis kind are the strongest of all demons brought into Assiah. The young princess is still alive. I can feel her.” the demon hissed as he reached the destroyed area and got down on all fours before roaring after noticing the aura of the Wyrm’s power in the area previously. This roar caused the area to catch a mighty blaze; engulfing everything it touched in crimson flames. After the area had been completely covered the fiend stood tall before moving from the area and into the air.
Hyorinmaru was still laying down on his frozen bed after the fact Excalibur had disturbed his slumber, he couldn’t stop looking at Lloyd even after receiving the insults from the fiend. Suddenly Hyorinmaru’s wings began to flap as the demon glared at the fiend. ”Still nothing more than an ember waiting to be snuffed out.” the dragon roared as it opened its large mouth and spewed yet another frozen wave of the fog of liquid nitrogen towards the flames that were created. The dragon soon took off towards the flames and soared over them before freezing the flames completely. ”How’s that you firefly?” the dragon mocked as he turned around looked over at Lloyd. ”That boy over there, possesses far more fire power than you ever could. You missed a display of a great power, Innocentius.” the Wyrm said as he wings continued to flap as he reached the fiend within the sky yet keeping his distance then look to the right as his gaze pierced through the sky. ”Garuda! Your turn!” the Wyrm called out as he looked back towards the ground as he began to glare down towards the ground looking at the area through his frozen gaze. ”I can sense auras under the surface…but I can’t see anything, although my sight is only as good as the distance between the objects and myself. Although Hyorinmaru you can see the heat signature below, but Gurada…”
”I can see everything that touches the air itself.” the Pazuzu said from her distance from the group holding back an arrow of wind through her feathered bow. ”That child, has a gift, although I don’t have a doubt in my mind or heart that our master can’t find a way to defeat such an attack Hyorinmaru, remember there are four of us under his power, and we have all risen to the levels that most of our kind never manage to see.” she said calmly as her eyes closed for a second before slowly opening and she released the arrow towards the frozen flames. As the arrow of wind sliced through the air itself it began to swirl before becoming a vortex of wind upon connecting to the center of the damaged area. This wind ripped through the ice claimed area and banished the flames as well as the ice shattered like glass, the sand that covered the crumbled ruins were rejected from the area as well. With the settling of the wind the Pazuzu had appeared in the very center of the old ruins where her arrow had connected. Her feet touched the open area. She looked around until noticing a path leading underground. She closed her eyes and began to focus on the voices within the wind as a light breeze flourished through the caverns. ”Master, they appear to be fleeing underground. Shall we take care of them now?” Garuda asked as if she was speaking to Ignazio if he was standing next to her; but that’s all any of the familiars had to do; that was the special bond held with tamers and their familiars, their senses were shared and with that their wounds became their master’s wounds. For that reason, Garuda was always careful on the situations she placed herself into.

Now, Titus had some thinking to do. Their backs were up against the wall, or rather, trapped underneath some ruins, and time was running out. Ignazio obviously had a thought out plan, summoning his familiars to attack the base instead of using his own men. The young man sat there, in the spot that Victor brought him to, trying his hardest to think of a way to counter however many familiars the tamer had used in his arsenal. 'Now's not the time to be a dumbass! Think dammit, think! He's not invincible...There has to be a flaw... A hole in his techniques!...' The young man rubbed his temples, still feeling bothered by the parka. Sure, he was warm, but the damned thing was too thick! Shaking his head, the silver haired boy took it off, and put it to his side. 'He obviously has some type of fighting experience; But those were just dumbasses who didn't know what they were up against...' The young man pulled on his hair, and remembered something from before the exams started. 'The time I got up in his face! He was gonna hit me, but with Qi! If I can just get up close and personal with him... Maybe I stand a chance. But what about those familiars? ' A large explosion rang throughout the cavern, and the ground began to shake. "Aw s**t! They really just took out our base?" The young man could hear the screams of some of his fellow team members, and cries for help within throughout the underground cavern. 'Its all crumbing...' Shaking his head, he turned to Victor, with a stern look on his face. "We're getting out of here, now Victor!" The young man knew the burly guy next to him would listen, since now this was a life or death situation. Without any hesitation, or waiting for his assigned knight, the young man began his sprint back to the crossroads of the cavern, where he could find an exit. There was no time to waste, and from the sound of it, Team White had very little of it if they wanted to get out of the ruins alive.
Large rocks began to fall from the cracks of the cavern, killing the exorcists that happened to run under the debris. The silver haired half breed saw a few of his teammates succumb to a rocky death, and clicked his tongue. 'Dammit..' This was no time for mourning, or remorse for the fallen. Shaking his head, the silver haired king pushed on forward, heading for a possible exit. He ran forward, and could finally see the cross roads leading toward the exits. Before the half breed could make a decision, another set of explosions rang out throughout the cavern. He clenched his fists as he looked toward the south eastern and western exits, remembering what the blonde doctor had said about rigging the main passages to blow. Had the woman planned this all along? Was she the traitor? Thinking of all the possibilities, the young man heard a yell from one of his teammates. "Oh f-"The silver haired boy looked up, seeing one of the many large rocks falling down, and immediately jumped toward the northern exit. The half breed had slipped, rolling into the sandy flooring below him. As quickly as he could, the silver haired boy recovered, his balance, and began to run toward the exit he presumed to be "safe". With a stern look on his face, he headed toward the light, prepared for what he had to do next. A battle with some type of overpowered demon, or a possible human was sure to ensue as soon as he got out of the cavern; He was expecting it. "Victor!" He called out behind him, hoping that he wasn't too far behind. "I need your help to take out Ignazio!" Even though he was still a ways from safety, he knew he had to beat the tamer somehow if he was going to pass the exam; And using his allies was going to be key.
The boy had one more ally that he knew of that he had not seen since dinner time as well; Akemi. Her skills would be needed as well, and hopefully, she escaped along with the rest of the team. Maybe she was in front of the pack? Then there was Alexandria. Since Victor had brought him to the back of the cavern, he had not seen her either. Had she escaped before the rest of team white? Or maybe she happened to have gotten caught in some of the debris? No, despite the fact she could very well be the traitor, he could not accept that someone of True Cross died during the exam because of some rocks. Clicking his tongue, the young man pressed onward, hoping to hear his knight respond to him from behind, or maybe even in front.

Victor stood with the others in the cavern as it shook and threatened to fall on top of them. A wave of Qi had came through the ruins overhead like a tornado and obliterated the old buildings. When it seemed that everything was over there was a rise in Qi in the area. Victor knew who's it was and it meant that the enemy King was indeed there. The cave was caving in around him and everyone was scattering in every direction, heading for the exits. Traps went off where they weren't supposed to and Victor looked to Titus in time to see him fleeing and calling out to him. Victor didn't move as he saw the students around him die and be crushed by the falling rocks. His fist clenched in anger at what was being done to his fellow humans around him. He felt an array of things as he realized who had betrayed them and who was to blame for the countless deaths of Team White. The last of the escaping teammates might have seen Victor stay behind as the stone fell around him and entombed him. After the sound of shattering glass and the arrival of the avian demon, the rubble seemed to vibrate underneath. Suddenly, ruined stone and earth burst upwards revealing a meaty arm that reached out to take hold of the winged demon. Victor took grip of the demon's leg and looked to pull him down into the shifted earth. With the bird demon inside with Victor, he would wrap his arms around the demon's neck and use all of his strength to snap it.

As the appearance of the escaping member of the opposing team ran out of the exits like rats, Garuda prepared for combat, pulling the two wings that were once her bow into two long swords. The Pazuzu being demons of the Demon King of Wind, obtained a special feature about their wings; most exorcist knew better than to even come into close quarters with a winged creature of the wind due to a single feather being as sharp as a blade; especially a Pazuzu due to their enormous wings and versatility. The cracking of the changed glass ground underneath her was enough to alert the Pazuzu of trouble, she began to flap her wings and push off of the ground, but it was a little too late to dodge the gripping hold that was placed upon the S-Class demon’s leg. Garuda watched as the veiny arm took a strong hold against her feathered legs. She let out a scream as she dug her talons around the male’s wrist and pulled herself upwards with a strong push off of the ground utilizing the power of the wind to pull them into the air. Garuda’s wing flapped harder and harder as she pulled the male high into the sky. She looked down to look at the male who was foolish enough to grab on to her. Upon noticing the body and then the face of the male the demon squawked as she hovered the two of them within the air and pointed one of the large wings at his face and glared. Due to a majority of her body being coated in feathers, her legs were not an exception, she could smell the fresh blood from the human along her lovely emerald colored feathers ”Don’t make any sudden movements, if I drop you from this height, either you’ll die from the fall or Hyorinmaru will devour you before you can hit the ground.” she warned as her wings continued to flap, keeping them in the air, she moved the second winged blade towards the males neck, as she held him by her single talon. With a winged blade pointed at his left eye and another at his neck, then the fact there was the talon stabbed through his forearm and not to forget about the cuts in place on his bare hand after grabbing hold of a Pazuzu’s feathers directly without proper protection. Garuda was serious, and didn’t have any problem slaying the foolish fighter if he made any sudden moves. She was an S-Class demon, but for a human, the male’s grip was impressive, she only dug her talons into his arm in order to loosen his hold upon her. ”Now, what shall we do with this one?”
Hyorinmaru noticed as Gardua was captured but managed to spring away and bringing her assailant to her domain within the sky, and to be honest, it was also his domain as well. The giant dragon flapped its wings and began to beat it’s wings forward, sending an icy wind around the two, to alert them of his presence. Hyorinmaru’s body blocked the sun from Victor’s sight if he turned around to look at the massive black demon. The Wrym’s icy eyes and fangs locked on to the male as he began to circle around the two. ”You’ve caught a nice big fat one. Master, did say I could devour anyone who got in the way.” the Wyrm calmly stated with a hint of elegance and class behind his voice before letting out a light crackle before bursting into a full laugh. ”Just drop him Garuda, I’m sure the shock would kill him before the landing.” the beast hissed as he took a sniff into the air and soon his mouth opened and he exhaled. ”An Aria, but not a very good one, are you boy? You foolishly grabbed hold of a Pazuzu with your bare hands, what were you thinking? Oh wait let me guess…” the dragon started as he stopped circling the two and hovered behind the Pazuzu and looked down at Victor with his frozen eyes. ”Tamers suffer internal injuries if their familiars are killed in Assiah and forced back to Gehenna, so if you could take out even one, then you’d gain the upper hand? Too bad, no one told you this, but S-Class demons aren’t so easy to defeat. You see, we’re on the level of that of a Demon Lord, and you know why?” Hyorinmaru asked as his voice trialed into the wind, with a proud and booming voice so all could hear him proclaim their victory.
Meanwhile, Innocentius returned to Ignazio’s side as the troops began to appear and circle the tamer and the knight. The fiend released a mighty roar before calling flames to erupt from the ground around his master and Lloyd. The flames then spread outwards, lashing about towards the different combatants in order to burn them alive. The heat of the desert only seemed to increase with the presence of Innocentius. A fiend’s demonic aura was strong enough to melt even a car within a few seconds. The fact the group hadn’t passed out from the simple fact the fiend was in the area was a miracle on its own. But Innocentius wasn’t one to be shown up by his teammates. ”Master, shall I assist Gaurda and Hyorinmaru dealing with that one? Or would you rather I deal with all of these humans?”

The appearance of Victor hit Ignazio’s senses as his Qi became apparent in a change, before he could alert Gaurda, he notice she felt the male’s Qi but she appeared to have been gripped rather tightly by the fighter. The tamer bit down on his lower lip as he watched the male be taken into the sky. Suddenly flames circled around him and Innocentius was at his side ready to fight. Flames lashed around to frighten the people whom dared to approach. Ignazio closed his eyes and connected his sense with Hyorinmaru and Garuda, he knew everything they could hear, see, and smell. The tamer’s eyes opened as he began to chuckle and then started to laugh as he threw his head back. ”What a fool.” Ignazio muttered under his breath before crossing his arm over his chest and then looking up at the hanging Fighter. ”Are you dumb or something! You’ve seen how Garuda fights before not to mention we’ve done homework on Pazuzu demons, you should know their feathers are as sharp as a blade, yet you were foolish enough to go and grab hold of her personally. Man, talk about cocky.” Ignazio called up to the male as he turned and looked at the surviving members of the army, he shook his head and sighed. ”You know, I didn’t bring the full force of my team, for the simple reason that you’re all going to be eliminated by two men. Victor, I’m taking Titus back with me, this whole war situated assignment, is boring, and you’ve proven to only be as smart as the muscles in your biceps.” Ignazio called up to the male as his arms lowered to his sides and he looked back to Innocentius and then out to the surrounding army and with a devilish smirk, he once had in the restaurant Ignazio called up to Garuda. ”If he makes any sudden movements, start by cutting off his p***s and then his arms and legs. Save his head for me. I don’t want to deal with any screws because a certain muscle bound idiot got in my way.” the male said before taking a few steps forwards and then moved his hands towards his chest and placed his hands together, interlacing his fingers and creating the seal of Rin ”Bai” he called out boldly. His Qi raged outwards injecting itself into everyone within its range, in order to make them immobile. ”Do you know why I’m so strong? It’s because I don’t rely on a single skill or talent to slay my opponents. I’m more so a man of many skills. Like this for example.” he said as he took another step forward and extended his right arm forward as the flames from Innocentius began to rotate around his body and soon the fiend became a part of those same flames and began to form a sword before the tamer’s hand. ”One of the five elements that build the Earth, o’ great creator of flames, the light of salvation that gives birth to life, the light of judgment that punishes evildoers, while bringing peace and stability at the same time, it also destroys the cold and dark misfortune. Fire is the name, sword is the title! Swallow myself, turn me into power! Now show yourself!” the male chanted quickly as the flames rolled towards Ignazio’s hand and soon revealed a crimson rapier with a wigged guard.
Ignazio took hold of the sword and soon flames raged around his body as he claimed the power of the demon for his own. ”This is what it means to be an Aria and a Tamer. Now, watch how two men destroy your army within ten minutes.” Ignazio stated confidently as he took a step forward leaving the stone and entering the sand. ”Lloyd, I’ll take the left side, you can have the right. Don’t worry we don’t have to kill any of them this time, unless you really want to.” the male said smiling as his fudge colored hair covered his eyes for a second and his raised his left hand slightly above the guard, pulling the blade close to his waist. ”Now, the fact none of you can move, is really a pity, but that’s why I’m not going to kill you. I’ll just make you suffer a bit before your commander gives up.” he said with a nice and genuine smile upon his face. ”Let’s not have this slaying end ruin our friendship.” he said before pushing off of the ground with a great force before his body vanished, or so it would appear to those who couldn’t keep up with his movements.
