『Shizuko Yukimori』

Shizuko nodded in thanks to Noire for his allowance, sealed her Zanpakuto once more, and Shunpo'd away, headed for her family home.

Krin raced back to his squad in order to inform Mana of the Vizard intruder he just encountered and also to hopefully land a power nap before he went out training. However upon his arrival the Lieutenant was shocked to find chaos and the ruins of his squad's courtyard in utter array. Upon further investigating Krin noticed a man covered in blood laying on the floor who appeared to be a fellow Shinigami. Acting quick he rushed over to the man only to discover that it was the Lieutenant of squad 12 Chi Kiyoshi. "Chi?! What on earth happened here? Where is Captain Seijitsu?!" It wasn't bad enough that he was so easily defeated in a fight but now his squad was destroyed and his captain missing? This was becoming too much for Krin to handle. Whoever was responsible for this destruction was going to pay courtesy of the 10th Division Lieutenant himself. However at the time being Krin's main focus was to help the comrade he could actually see before him. A Hell Butterfly landed on his finger as he began to relay a message requesting for squad 4 medical attention. Hopefully they would arrive soon even if they were not the most proficient in Shunpo compared to the other squads. All that he could hope was that Chi would stay with him and just hang on a tad longer until they arrived. Perhaps even sharing who did this to him.

Lieutenant Chi Kiyoshi

User Image
Chi awoke suddenly he was still unable to move anything but his left arm "Lieutenant Krin?" Chi said weakly as he tried to push his body upwards with his left arm however the pain got to him and her fell back down he was totally useless to anyone like this right now "I failed didn't I they must of took the Captain with them both him and the traitor" Chi said quietly only loud enough for krin to hear a small frown appeared on his face as he though about his fight with Shizuko she was stronger then he thought she would be she easily kept up with him in their fight just what would she be capable of with her kido Chi pondered to himself completely oblivious to the blood pouring down his face.

But he didn't feel like wearing himself out by using another Hido. As he arrived, he saw two Lieutenants who clearly looked like the boogeyman had smacked each of them around a bit. He walked up to them and spoke in what he hoped sounded like a voice of some authority.

"Stop me when this sounds familiar. A short time ago, an insanely powerful Shinigami named Noire came here with the 2nd Division 6th Seat Shizuko Yukimori...and then they left with something of dire importance...something that no one's supposed to know about."If his hunch was correct, then Krin would know exactly what that important thing was. "And before you answer...remember that at the moment I have orders from the Central 46 to come here and find out exactly what in the actual s**t is so special that the very first Kido Corps Captain would level the 10th Division to get it." While the bit about having orders from the Central 46 was not 100% accurate, he did have those orders from someone who'd given them on the Central 46's authority. All in all, it was immediately clear that Gengyo was not about to be dicked around with.

While the 10th Lieutenant attempted to tend to his fallen comrade Chi's wounds as best as he could he heard Lieutenant Kiyoshi attempt to speak to Krin. At first Krin's instinct was to tell Chi to conserve his strength to not further aggravate his bleak vitals. One could only imagine how painful it must have been for him to muster up even a sentence let alone a full explanation of what had happened but in this particular moment Krin was feeling selfish to say the least. He greatly desired to know what had happened and just could not wait much longer as today had truly placed a test upon his anger management that he once held together for hundreds of years before today. When Chi finally was able to gather his words he struggled to push out each word, it was clear how much of a strain it put on him and yet all that ran through Krin's mind was simply 'Who?' Chi stated that somebody abducted Mana in addition to a betrayal who Krin was uncertain as to who that traitor was but at the very least he would find out upon Lieutenant Kiyoshi's recovery. "No you did great Chi, just get some rest so you can get yourself back on your feet. Thanks to you we have a little information on our new enemies." While Krin wanted to question Chi further it was clear he wouldn't be turning in a report on his fight anytime soon. Shortly after finding Chi another presence entered the ruins of what once was the 10th Division Courtyard. The Reiatsu belonged to none other than Captain Gengyo of Squad 6 who must have already turned the Arrancar into custody which at least provided some positive news today. However it would no take long for Krin's raised hopes to swiftly be shot back down into the abyss they once were at only moments ago. According to the Captains information the traitor was in fact Shizuko Yukimori who had just helped them capture that dangerous Arrancar which made zero sense to Krin. But the real grim news came after when Gengyo stated that the intruders were after something inside the 10th Division of great importance. The 10th Division, which is nothing more than an elaborate prison with simply prisoners inside had very little that most would consider 'important' which meant that what these intruders truly meant to accomplish was...a jailbreak. Taking a pause to recall past memories Krin's face went from a combination of bewilderment and concern to a much more serious and grim appearance. He turned to face the equally serious captain. "If what you are telling me is correct Captain, then the Sereitei now has even more enemies to worry about... He paused, hesitating on what exactly he should disclose due to the fact that he wasn't even that knowledgeable on the matter himself. "As you know Squad 10 contains the Nest of Maggots to hold potential threats to the Soul Society, however like the holding levels under the 1st Division we also hold much more powerful beings that are kept in complete isolation. Captain Seijitsu has it under strict lock down and even forbid me from entering but he did say that if those beings were ever let loose that destruction would shortly follow in their wake."

"I want to become the best...

xxxxxOverturning the rubble, he awoke wincing in pain. What the Hell happened? I was just sleeping... As he panned the Division, he saw massive damage. Clearly, the 10th Division underwent some serious destruction. Rushing outside, his asauchi drawn, Zaruichi realized he had been asleep during the entire time. That or perhaps sleeping and further knocked out by the rubble as he was sleeping. A hole to where the prisoners were had been ripped open so essentially almost all prisoners escaped. That did not bode well for Soul Society at all. "Captain Mana?! Captain Mana?" It was as though he was not in the Division. Running over to a few friendly Shinigami, as he recognized the robes, Zaruichi fell to a bowing knee and stating, "Captain Gengyo. Lieutenant Krin. Lieutenant... Chi? I'm Zaruichi Yukuya, 20th seat of this Division. What happened?" Staring about the Division, he saw various hints of what went down. Claw marks. Holes caused by spells. It was all evident that a battle caused this. Captain Mana must have been fighting.

xxxxxTurning his attention to the dead Shinigami he yelled in anger, "Kotetsu! Shimaru! No... Damnit..." Falling to his knees, tears welled up in his eyes. "I'll kill him. I'll kill the b*****d who did this... They had families. Wives. Children." Holding up his asauchi, he turned to Gengyo he slashed his hand, "On this blood oath, I swear I will become stronger! And I will become the avatar of vengeance!" He was ready to take on the world now. He had the drive, the will to do so. But, he knew his current strength would be worthless to everyone else around him. So, he would devote his time to training. Surely, with enough training he could finally become useful.

Chi chose to say nothing he still remained on the ground a frown on his face two more had shown up the sixth division captain Gengyo and a seated officer from the tenth division it seemed everyone would want to know though Chi did feel strong enough to say anything he would try and push himself to do so "They are not new enemies by any means they are creatures I created before any of you were ever born half shinigami and half hollow a truly fearsome power....now would someone either call or take me to the fourth division I don't know how long I can keep myself alive..." Chi said then blacked out again though before he did so he tried to reach for his glasses though he was unable to reach them with his left hand.

"Calm the hell down, boy, this isn't some anime. You ain't about to do your fallen comrades any favors by making rash oaths and rushing off to your death." Not terribly inspiring, but this was not the time for flying off the handle. When Chi began to shed some light on exactly what had been stored here, Gengyo proceeded to walk right up to the guy with every intention of smacking him utterly senseless....except that the boy passed out again before he got there.

"Son of a living b***h...you are not getting off that easy, boy. Kaidō #1: Jihi!" At this point, Gengyo thrust his palm out at Chi identically to a Tesshō and like a flamethrower, the green reiatsu flowed out into Chi, but only so much as to keep him from needing immediate attention. As soon as he'd had enough, Gengyo cut it off cuz he could feel all these different Kidō taking their toll. Then he sent a Hell Butterfly for a squad from the 4th Division. They arrived in short order and began to treat Chi, Krin, and the overreacting 20th Seat. Gengyo just made sure that it was all done while all three were 100% conscious. He needed to hear the rest of what Chi had to say.

"Alright," he intoned as he sat down and ate some food that had been brought in the interim, "So you and your nutcase Division took Shinigami and made them into Shinigami-Hollow hybrids and then you had them locked away and for some reason they were removed from, I assume, all the archives and records...cool." Gengyo was smiling as he ranted. Not a good sign."Now comes the part where you give me some good news about all this. Tell me something useful, something that I can have my Division do to make sure that these guys never become a serious threat."

Shortly after Captain Gengyo's arrival Krin felt another presence appear. This Reiatsu however did not enter from another place like Gengyo, this was more like an awakening which meant there was actually a survivor from this horrific scene. Once he heard the rubble being moved around Krin turned his head to notice one of the lower ranked officers for the division Zaruchi rise up from the debris. A very headstrong irrational fellow who's first thoughts were one of his downfalls as a warrior. When Gengyo heard his vengeful comments he quickly made the comparison to an anime which made Krin slightly chuckle before chiming in in order to direct his subordinate. "Oi, calm down Zaru-dude." For some reason Krin's idea of giving a nickname meant adding dude at the end for everyone."Right now our main objective should be rallying the remaining squad members to contain and apprehend the escaped prisoners. We should probably contact Squad 7 and have them send a mass Hell Butterfly to the other squads informing them of the jailbreak so they can assist. Don't you worry, I'm gonna bring Captain Seijitsu home." The 10th Lieutenant then let out a loud yawn, clearly he was in the mood for a nap and seemed to have calmed down from all the chaos and commotion that just so recently plagued the Sereitei. But his relaxed nature should not be confused for apathy, Krin meant every word when he said he would bring Mana back it was just a matter of him becoming stronger to do so. It was then that Chi began to elaborate more, apparently the top secret prisoners had Hollow powers in addition to their Shinigami abilities which explained the unusual opponent Domon he faced in the streets. Domon was not only able to summon a Cero but before Krin left he felt Hollow Reiryoku emitting from the man despite him releasing his Zanpakuto, it felt similar yet different from the Arrancar's energy. A light bulb immediately popped up in Krin's head after Gengyo lunged his hand into Chi to help heal him to where he could speak once more. "Captain Gengyo, you said this man was a Kido Grandmaster? Surely a man using such high level spells can't remain invisible for long in the world of the living. Is there any way to track him?"

"Normally, you'd be right. For my Division to pinpoint a Kidō user in the Real World would be easy, especially if they were using high-profile spells like the ones obviously used here and especially if the user had a reiatsu similar to that of a Hollow's. However, being a Grandmaster, I know I'd know better than to do something so foolish. As the first Grandmaster, I have no doubts that he also would know better. He was the first 6th Division Captain, and so he knows how my Division tends to operate, meaning he likely knows how to fly under the 6th Division's radar. Just because we specialize in Kidō, doesn't mean we can't hold our own without it...I get the feeling he demonstrated this fact on Seijitsu-taicho." A pause...he got the feeling he'd just gone n circles and so he decided to simplify it./color]

"Lemme put it another way: he invented all of the methods that my Division would use to track him down, so for my Division to find him effectively, we'd likely end up having to break a lot of laws. Besides, by now Noire's prolly back to wherever his hideout is. Our only advantage lies in the fact that he and Shizuko have just been through the ringer with some of the most powerful Shinigami we have, his friends are weak from centuries in prison, and all are prolly taking time to recover. But, as I said, to find tem means breaking a lot of laws."/size]

"I want to become the best...

xxxxxMoving before Captain Gengyo, he fell to his knees in the highest level of bowing. His head and face touched the ground, his hands only inches from Gengyo's feet. "I am but a mere 20th seat. I mean virtually nothing of importance. Let me do this. Soul Society won't even know I'm gone. Captain Mana was everything to me. A friend. A father. Please don't make me sit back idly by. Please, give me some time to train and let me undertake this covert mission. And then none of you can break any laws. I won't fail you." His asauchi had dropped to the side. He really did need training. The young man had yet to even unlock his shikai. And he didn't know how to shunpo. His knowledge of hakuda, zanjutsu, and kido was virtually nonexistent as well. He had a fiery determination and a passion that came with being youthful. While Zaruichi did not entirely know the power gap difference between himself and the Vizards, he knew that their power meant arrogance. And arrogance meant ignoring the weak. He would be an excellent person to send. The Vizards wouldn't expect such a low level Shinigami to investigate them. Not to mention, Zaruichi was not predictable. Furthermore, if he was caught, he knew he was expendable.

xxxxxWaiting for Gengyo's response, Zaruichi maintained the uncomfortable bowing pose. If Gengyo accepted Zaruichi's plan and used him as the center of their strategy, he would not let Gengyo down. Then again, Zaruichi knew that this was to become the test of his life. He had to prove he deserved to be in the 10th Division. And that he deserved to be a Shinigami. All of his life he had been laughed at and considered a joke. No one believed such a young soul could be a Shinigami. And having failed in the Academy in all areas meant that he really was a wild card. However, what the Shinigami did not know was that he had one of the largest hidden reiryoku vaults deep within him. And as for his zanpakuto, his was among the strongest fire elemental types. Zaruichi didn't even know this.

He knew full well that one went full kow-tow for one of two reasons: either they were genuine or they were just stupid. He doubted that this 20th Seat was the latter. It took him a few moments to consider this...and he had to admit to himself that it felt awkward having someone lower themselves to him this way, even if he was currently the highest ranking person present.

"So, you're prepared to put yourself among individuals who are, as a point of fact, significantly more powerful than your Captains. I'll make you a deal...if you're serious about this, then I'll have you transferred to the 6th Division where you'll be instructed in every conceivable facet of Kido. Further, I'm going to push you to achieve your Shikai." A stiff deal, but then again he was promising to basically take this young nobody under his wing directly so that he could do what he knew was proper. Of course, there was another reason Gengyo wanted to do this for the man. In that moment, he reminded Gengyo so vividly of himself a long time ago: Small, weak, and powerless to protect those you cared about but refusing to accept that fact as an excuse not to make it otherwise..

Walking ever so calmly, a slight sound could be heard. Tap... tap... tap.. tap as he walked and his sandals clicked against the ground, the sound of wood clashing against the floor. It wasn't overly loud but it was enough to hear someone approaching, if anything the sound was small, as quiet as a mouse. Covered in a black open shirt with his Squad Two Captain coat adorning over his black shirt, he would walk into the situation that seemed to be happening with not much of any real look upon his face. Did someone mention Kido? What was Kido? Wasn't that the thing I was never able to learn? Damn. They must be kido users here. The last time I had had an encounter Kido users was on my mission, they all died though. To be fair, didn't the ones who weren't so adequate at it die as well? Yeah I think they did. Hard to remember since everyone die... Oh riiight. No one lived. Well, outside of me of course.

His long black and purple hair would sway gently beside his face and down to his chest as he walked, he had a small stick protruding from his mouth but that only seemed to be from the sucker he was currently indulging in. It was his one weakness. He couldn't help but adore suckers. They were colorful, tasteful, and they were cheap. What more could anyone even want? Well, guess what, he was here and he seen a lot of stuff going on.

I figure I should try to figure out, nah, well screw it. "Hello everyone. How are we all on this wonderfully horrible day?" Did I just contradict myself? Of course I didn't. Everyday was horrible and because everyday was horrible it was determined by his standards that everyday was also beautiful. Funny how that worked right?. . . Right? While it was true that he just kind of hijacked the situation, he was sure he would get some naysayers about him. He still had not met any of the other Captains or well anyone to be frank. Wasn't he to be summoned soon for the actual ceremony of the Squad 2 Crowning? Who knew. He sure didn't. But he figured he could at least witness some stuff happen before he was denied and sent back to go kill more bandits in the rukon district.

Despite his optimistic wishes it appeared as if there was no way to locate his captain who had been captured by this new mysterious group of Ryoka. To make matters worse he was stuck on damage control duty instead of leading the search party so order could be maintained within the squad. Krin always found taking the lead to be a drag but also a necessary evil in order to get stuff done. Also the whip cream and cherry on this crap sundae of a day was that the last man who actually saw Mana's kidnappers was recovering from what could only be described as a massive beat down and the only captain on the scene to help Krin was apparently trying to recruit one of his own subordinates who was ignoring Krin's orders. The stress of the situation was quickly beginning to build making Krin thank his lucky stars that the horde of Hollows and the Ryoka named Domon sapped him of most of his energy. In the midst of yawning away his worries Krin noticed yet another presence appear within the ruins of the courtyard wearing a white Haori yet Krin did not recognize this man as a captain. The man was surprisingly pleasant whether is was sarcastic or genuine which made Krin wonder if this new captain could truly grasp the gravity of what had just transpired, or even was able to notice the destruction and chaos that surrounded him. Either way, with 4th Division having finally arrived and treating the injured along with several Squad 10 unseated members chasing down and apprehending the escaped prisoners to transfer to the 1st Division prison little was left for the lazy Lieutenant to do. With a heavy sigh Krin rose from the injured Lieutenant Kiyoshi's side and let out a loud nonchalant yawn. "Well things seem to be a little less hectic around here, if anyone needs me I'll be in the barracks grabbing a power nap." Little did they know that sleep was the last thing on Krin's mind for once in his life. His primary concern was finding his captain and having a rematch with the Ryoka that made him look to foolish and useless in battle. The only obstacle was going to be sneaking out through the gate without a limiter to seal away his power.

"Lemme guess, you're here because of your former 6th Seat Shizuko Yukimori, who went rogue and assisted a dangerous ryoka in creating the wreckage you see here." The way he spoke, it was no real surprise that Gengyo held the 2nd Division in a bit of contempt. After all, no one with any self-respect would hide in the shadows and strike at the unsuspecting. No one with honor would be a spy. Even if the 11th Division hated Kido because it wasn't right up in your face, at least his own division had the decency to face their opponents when they did what they did best.

((OOC: yeah no limiter would have been something he'd have had to clear with Gengyo if he wanted it done. xD. since the Kido Corps maintains the Senkaimon, if he wanted to fly under the radar, all he'd need is to ask Gengyo and he'd make sure his Division didn't apply it...totally against regulation of course))
