I pushed myself up in to a sitting position just in time to watch Calanar manipulate the earth. Hey, a mage! His control over that element seemed as fluent as my connection with water. Maybe he could trade some pointers for me and show me a thing or two. "You have greater matters to attend to." Oh right, those angry women! The growing smile stunted on my face at their rapid movements. They were practically soaring! With super graceful steps they seem to glide over the land. It was so impressive I almost didn't catch that the guy had spoken in Meritian. As flames formed before us and closed off the street I moved at a brisk pace to keep up with him. "Hi! I'm Naëal! Do you know any Mer? You speak the language really well." Cypress mentally nudged me, warning me that I was avoiding the subject. I shrugged my shoulders, figuring there was no real harm in letting this stranger know what was really going on. As we jogged forward I reached in to my pocket and pulled out the strange stone.
It was blood red, lined with these strange and lightly pulsating veins of white. There was a dim glow to it and it was warm to the touch. "I was asked to deliver this to 14 Trinity Square. Ever since this wound up in my hands I've been chased by those crazy ladies!" The familiar twang of a bow coupled with a strange high pitched whistling had me turning back to see what was going on. The flames had wavered as a single arrow shot through, behind it a wild trail of wind creating a tunnel. It cut through the wall of flames and created a perfect opening for our assailants to leap through and chase again. Quickly I gestured with my hands, swirling a nearby puddle upward to intercept the arrow. "Block it off, slow their movements." Okay, that was a better idea. I pulled more from everywhere I could until it solidified completely. Through the ice, a bit distorted, I could see one of the women running with a super angry face on. It startled me a bit, I didn't know someone could possibly look that mad. I heard her shout from where I was but it still surprised me when she slammed a hammer that must have weighed a ton against my wall. It cracked.
Okay time to go again.
I turned on my heels and bound back to catch up with my new friend, slowing to his pace so I didn't leave him too far behind. "So yes, I don't really know what their problem is. But I'm just gonna deliver this to where it needs to go and call it a day. Do you know any places around here that steam clams?" The street ended in a a gigantic and opulent square. Well, I think it was nice at some point. The square had a large fountain topped by three triangles pointing in different directions. The stones were cracked and the water long since gone from the fountain. We were entirely surrounded by buildings. None of them had numbers on them though. I looked down at the address I scrawled and handed it over to Calanar. "Is this it?"

Reaper / Knight / Templar / Aeromancer
Shinzo had been spending more time in pronta, making new acquaintances and learning more about this nation he had now settled in. He usually dressed down from his war gear to his leather jacket and Reaper gear. He strolled through the streets of the underbelly with a meat roll kind of dish he always got for lunch. It was a local dish he fell in love with instantly when he first tried it. He passed some market stalls selling weapons, backstreet genemods and other junk. Shinzo never really saw the point in those things as they were sometimes uber dodgy and made people deformed. At least the ones here did. He did walk upto one stall that should glowing gems, they did nothing but were decorations and jewellery. Shinzo liked the look of them so he bought a necklace for ten gold. A golden gem that shone brightly. It kinda reminded him of his mother's aura so he figured he would have it as a memento. He carried on browsing until something caught his eye. A Mer girl running down the street being chased by some other women. Shinzo cocked his head and decided to follow to see what the fuss was. He used the winds to propel him to the roof tops where he ran after the women. He finally caught up with the girl who seemed to escape the women. He lept down, the wind catching him and slowing his decent. "Hey there! Seems you angered quite a few people there. What did you do?" he asked as his foot slowly touch ed the ground, speaking in a curious sounding tone.

Glazadriel
Weapon Name: Glazadriel Weapon Rank: Same as user Weapon Type: Claim weapon: Dual bladed sword Weapon Description:
Ordinary looking to most people, Glazadriel is known as the solar crucibal. First forged by an unknown paladin emperor. The blade was infused with the solstices sunlight and the emperors own aura. The sword can channel light energy and weaponize it in different ways. It can also capture sunlight and either store it or release it to combat beings of dark magic. The bigger blade stores the light and releases it while the smaller blade focuses the light for its different abilities. The sword has been shattered twice during major battles against demi-gods and corrupts kings. One must find all of the pieces to re-forge it completely and bind their own aura to the blade.
Weapon Passive Abilities:
• Flower power [ B ] Glazadriel can absorb sunlight into its blade giving it's attacks a boost in power (+1 rank). The wielder must have the sword in direct contact with sunlight and must re-charge to gain the benefits for every ability. This passive will not work on artificial sunlight as it must be natural.
• Explosive edge [ B ] Glazadriel burns brightly like the sun, a powerful weapon only wielded by powerful templars. When the wielder returns the sword to their dominant hand, a bright light will explode outward sending a mini shock wave of light energy that dazzles the enemy and can blind anyone but the wielder nearby. When the user has alot of energy the shockwave can even blast anyone nearby off their feet if they are caught by surprise.
• Here is the church, here is the steeple, open the doors..... [ B ] To summon the blade initially, the wielder splays their hand toward any surface where a magic rune circle will appear. Glazadriel will fly out of the circle and will be caught by the wielder. This all happens in a flash and if the wielder is disarmed, Glazadriel can be returned to the wielder using the basic knight skill.
Weapon Activated Abilities:
• Ray of sunshine [ B ] The user swipes the blade, releasing an arc of concentrated light energy. The arc flies at high speeds in the direction f the swing flying through the air or along he ground. The arc can shatter through large boulders and dent steel. It deals minor burn damage to the target if it hits them directly
• House built on a rock [ A ] The wielder stabs the ground with the blade and a 10 meter diameter pillar of light engulfs the wielder and anyone within that area. This will do decent burn damage to anyone of an equal or lower rank to the wielder, sever burn damage and can cause temporary blinding to beings of dark magic or dark magic users and it will not effect fellow Templars.
• Solar reflection [ A ] The most intricate of abilities which made the blade famous within the Templar order. Glazadriel can form a second version of itself using light energy. In order to allow the user to wield both swords un-hindered, the second sword is slightly lighter than the original. The light sword will last for 4 posts before shattering or the wielder can fuel more energy extending the abilities active time.

Clever was the woman, faster than she was clever luckily for her in fact. The explosion damage was largely dampened by the arrows impacting them (which for the record muffin isn't really a thing) and causing her to instead be blown away. The beast roared, breaking free of the airconditioner to give chase immediately. As the woman escaped his notice, however, the beast became somewhat annoyed. She was safe... or so it should have been. Instead, waiting for her was another plagued one on the opposite side of the air conditioner. The two would both launch themselves forward immediately at her, but to her surprise an arrow born purely of energy stabbed into the side of the closest to her, clawing a guttural screech from deep within the draconian's body and sending it flying away. About thirty feet out, it exploded in a burst of green energy that washed over the area, claiming the Kiranu, Alassea, and the whole of the area. The full reach of this skill would overtake the mist, brightening the area, breaking the cloudy overcast and allowing the light of the sun to rain down on the area. In addition to killing both plagued ones, it seemed to rejuvenate and heal everyone, even those afflicted by the plague. When the blinding light faded, the dawn elf would find a woman of dark hair, an elf of familiar features to many statues all around. Empress Mahgdala herself, the Goddess Aelothari had descended, bringing with her a familiar grace.
But what had brought the goddess below Justor to Alessia. She regarded the woman as she seemed to weave together from the light, taking steps toward her with a buckler strapped to her left arm over her own bow. "Child of the Sun," the voice began nodding slightly as the sounds of praise and cheer rang out from the newly healed of the plague, even if only briefly. "You have drawn the ire of an enemy beyond your understanding..." she gravely informed, though her tone implied she was not worried, but rather proud. The sunlight, warming the cold streets of Yuran, would seem to intensify between the two. They would be like a beacon to those who were close, and Aelothari's presence alone was more than inviting.

Looking at Naëal out of the corner of his eye, Calanar allowed a soft practically unnoticeable sigh escape his lips before responding to both her introduction and her question. "A pleasure to meet you Naëal, my name is Tenrai Hiragi, however you can just call me Tenrai, as for your question; I do not know any Mer on a personal level, but I picked up bits and pieces during my travels as a mercenary and decided I liked the language and wanted to learn it, and began doing so." With that said he returned his focus to the path they were running through, making sure he didn't into anything on the street or miss a turn that could potentially help them escape the people chasing them, while still giving the occasional glance behind him to look at the wall of flames and the people trapped behind it, temporarily trapped at least.
Looking back at Naëal when she began explaining about the rock she was given, Calanar raised a single eyebrow before reaching his hand out towards it in an attempt to spread his magic around it to get a feel for it and what it could do. After a second of this he merely shook his head before frowning at not being able to help identify what was so special about it aside from appearance. Hearing an arrow sail through the air before colliding with what sounded like water, Calanar turned his head sharply; seeing the remains of his flame wall with their pursuers coming through it, one with a bow in hand. Shifting his attention to Naëal next to him, the elf watched her form a wall of ice that was almost instantly cracked by one of the women with a hammer in hand, causing Calanar to let out a low whistle of surprise towards it. After a second of thinking he grasped his staff tighter, channeling energy into it before tapping the ground with it. Instantly the earth and walls around the women chasing them seemed to come to life, lunging towards them in an attempt to envelope them. However he didn't finish there, and the moment the now moving walls came near the women spikes made of earth erupted from the walls, creating five spikes in total to try and impale them with.
With that done he would speed up again, having slowed down for a brief second to do his attempted attack. Hearing Naëal ask about steamed clams the elf reached up to pinch the bridge of his nose in irritation, wondering how someone could ask such mundane questions when they were being chased by people who weren't afraid to kill them as shown by the arrow that was shot at them imbued with what he assumed was magic. After a few seconds of running the emerged in a run down city square, cracked fountains and buildings all around them. Perhaps in another lifetime this place looked good, but in the current one it did not at all. Grabbing the paper from Naëal he looked at what was written on it before reaching up to scratch his chin in thought. Returning the paper to her he looked at her with a serious look in his face before speaking in a grim tone. "I don't know where we are, or where that place is. This is my first time actually being here." With a slightly embarrassed look on his face he shifted from scratching his chin to rubbing the back of his head to show his nervousness and awkwardness at the situation.
• Dementia This ability allows them to store a tiny fraction of Justor's magic into their own body. The result is simple and yet very efficient. Not only are their casting times reduced by one post, but their spells are increased in size and range (and speed... slightly). This makes their magic harder to dodge, further solidifying them as the most efficient magic-users. The rate at which size/range are increased = add 1/3 of the base. So, 15 feet in length would become 20 feet in length. Speed is increased by about 1/5th, although this can become overwhelming if you constantly sling spells.
• Mania *Can be used at any time The Dark Elves may project their immediate conscious into the moonlight, and projecting your conscious into very nearby mana allows you to directly connect to Justor's energy. This allows for a wide-range of spells that are not possible with other bloodlines, simply in concept. Furthermore, these spells are all free of energy, as they use the mana nearby, not your own reserves.
These abilities, as listed: The Dance of Veils By projecting your magical conscious somewhere else, a very quick and easy process, you may warp to that location, similar to a teleport. Upon disappearing, your location is wrapped in a dusk-colored shroud, and re-appearing is animated by a bright white flash. Of course, this is a very useful spell, but it may only be done once every other post. You can only teleport up to twenty feet away. It should be noted that you only project your [magical conscious] here, meaning you don't go blank or lose concentration while using this.
The Scion of Justor In legend, it is told that Empress Cirstec - the first Dark Elf - was brought to a state of immortality and divinity by Justor. This ability conjures her influence in the mana rather than his, allowing for a unique spell. Cirstec will allow you to twist the light around you, making you invisible to the enemy's eyes. Those with good hearing/smell can still sense you, but many people will be unable. Casting or attacking ends this spell. This means all you can really do is walk and run. It's useful when cornered, as it's a very potent hiding skill. It's also useful when trying to use a surprise attack, although the technique will end the moment you begin the attack. The most common use of Cirstec's shroud is waiting for the cooldown on the Veil (teleportation) to come off, so that you may make distance between you and the target. The Veil will not end the shroud until it has already teleported you.
I Am Loved This is a legendary ability of the Dark Elves, only spoken of in stories for its heartwarming take on the relationship of Justor, Solonor, and their children. If a dark elf is to die, their light fading and their blood running cold, they may call upon their God and hope that he answers. Those with mark three and above can use this once in a real life year, though they will be ejected from the fight and teleported far away after being brought back to life. This will simply not work for someone with a lower marking.
• Detect Magic Passive The magus can detect magic. This means when others cast spells, or emanate high amounts of energy, you can see their aura. This also means you can detect magic in an area, meaning if an area has something magical about it, you can feel it. At expert rank, you can determine the source in an area. Each source of magic has a special signature, meaning a magus will be able to recognize the energy of a person if they are expert rank or higher.
• Chosen Element - Earth Passive The element that the Magus chooses to gains a substantial increase in potency, making them larger, more refined and generally easier to cast. They cannot change elements once they have chosen.

Honestly everything started happening so fast that I wasn't even sure what the heck was going on. An energy so friendly and inviting washed over the land like an explosion. But one that didn't kill anyone. A nice explosion. All of that creepy mist was pushed away in an instant. Cypress had clamped his skull over my head to shield my eyes from the sudden bright light. I still maybe shouted a little bit in surprise. Just a little. I wasn't really sure what this energy was that had washed over everything but it felt almost familiar. "Godly, even." Oh right, that's where I recognized it. That one time in Kusana where the God of Crime was uncomfortably close to sticking his large revolver in my face. This was decidedly more comforting though. I turned to Tenrai and whispered my question. "Does this happen all the time? I never really had contact with two many deities and then I come to the surface and suddenly- BAM!" I shouted, clapping my hands together and wiggling my fingers as if spreading some magical dust around. "There are loads of them! Life is so strange!" A whizzing noise sounded off and Cypress' tail lashed through the air, forcefully spinning my body as he swatted three arrows out of the air. From that turned position I noticed there was someone else standing here now. "Hey! Is this Trinity Square?" There was little time for conversation though.
From the alleyway we had emerged jumped the four women pursuing us. A few of them were bloodied, presumably from the earthen spikes though mostly left undaunted. The lady with the warhammer stepped forward and banged her gauntleted fist on her breastplate. "In the name of the New Yuran Republic, hand over the gem or suffer the consequences!" I screwed up my face in confusion. This lady seemed to seriously be confused because Yuran was most definitely a kingdom. "Blow it out your hole! I shouted back at her, reaching for my spear and holding it in both hands. The armor on my body shifted so that the wings were slightly parted and the tail was half lifted in the air. This was our battle-ready stance.
All three of the women raised their weapons and shouted in unison. So I screamed back. Golden energy flew between them, enshrouding them in an aura. Why were all these people so tall and blonde and intimidating? "Valkyries, the children of angels and mortals. Blessed by their lineage, they all have access to powerful holy magicks. They are always on some sort of crusade and you are on the wrong end of it. Watch yourself." Valkyrie #1 stepped forward and slashed her hand on the sharp part of her hammer creating some sort of rune upon the weapon and launched herself with scary level of power. She was coming right for me, swinging that warhammer around with all her might. The siege master took off in great bounds, spinning up her minigun and releasing 10 shots at Shinzo, followed by a bullet that transformed in to a missile which would hunt him down, even around corners. The third valkyrie held her blade to the sky and in an instant summoned forth a blast of lightning that she absorbed in her. After closing the distance she would release the bolt from her chest at the mage, then proceed to try and run Calanar through with her sword.
The crackling of that energy so close to me nearly made me poop my pants. I knew one blast from that and I'd be a fish fillet. It made my hand stand on end. So I did the one thing I knew to do and jumped twenty feet away from the scene. Valk #1's hammer came smashing down on the ground where I had been, cracking the earth beneath it like it ain't s**t. Channeling my energy through me I crafted the Trident in my free hand. It was reminiscent of Belfast, though I doubt anyone here would know that. With all my might I chucked it down at the valkyrie. Even though that warhammer must have weighed more than my entire body she moved with relative ease. Dragging her hammer away the valkyrie managed to move from the Trident's trajectory. That wasn't too much of a problem for me though, it would serve its purpose. When I landed I wasted no time. Sure maybe she could whip that thing through the air and crush my head like a melon if it connected, but she'd be in my territory soon enough. Already the water was pulling forward, trickling in from every direction towards the Trident.

Technique
• Trident B Using their water energy, the Mer creates a strange looking trident in the designated area. It sticks out from the ground, and while you'd think that would mean it is tangible and easily destroyed, it is not. It acts like a mirage; indestructible, you only may pass through. The effect of the trident is that it draws water directly from the ocean. It will continuously draw large amounts of water from the ocean and flood the area. Every post, the water level will rise by two feet. Trident can actually remain for the entire battle, and because of its long-lasting nature, it can even be used to totally flood cities if it remains for long enough (this would require many hours). If the Mer leaves the thread that Trident is set in place, it will disappear.

Unlike a bullet, however, this shot does explosive damage in stead of piercing.
• Valkyrie, Cleric 8(+3)/9(+3) 1300/1350 - Sword/Shield - Adept • A Warrior's Bond C The Valkyrie will let out a battle cry, rallying themselves and any others on their side while also inspiring fear in their enemies as they rush forth. At anytime after, you may send an arc out that deals heavy damage to anything it hits. While it is still within you, your entire body radiates electricity, extending to any weapons as well.

"I think I do but it is not here I am afraid," he managed to say before the women he saw chasing the girl finally caught up to them. Something familiar to shinzo was coming off all three of them but he could not quite put his finger on it. The one in the middle spoke like an officer saying something about the Yuran Republic and a gem. Shinzo raised an eyebrow at the statement and demand. "Yuran is a kingdom and you are not the law here sweetheart!" he shouted but he got no response. The women just began to glow and that same golden energy seemed similar to shinzo's own energy. "How peculiar," he muttered as he watched the three women prepare themselves for a battle. He did not move as the first one came charging towards the girl but he did notice the second who open fired at him. "Oh bugger," he said as golden energy flowed to his back to form wings [+1 speed]. He shot off into the sky to avoid the first round of bullets but the second transformed making it change direction towards him. "Oh that is not good," he muttered as he quickly veered off to the right and swerved in and around the buildings. he looked back and formed several needles of light in both hands and quickly turned around and threw them at the bullet. The wave of needles whistled in the air catching the missile causing it to explode. "Nice!" he exclaimed before flying back to the fight. He swooped dowwrd right ontop of the seige master and using his right hand he gatheered compressed air and shot it in several snaking streams that bolted downward ontop of the girl.
