Trent would have backed out after throwing Salem back first into the corner, feeling air go through his lungs once again. However, he wasn't done, because he backed up and hoisted the Copperhead on his back completely on his shoulders. Slowly pacing himself back to the middle of the ring. Trent would have than finally done something no one expected, having him in this position. He would look to execute a samoan drop in the middle of the ring right on the Copperhead.

Suddenly, the swing of momentum would turn back towards Trent, capitalizing on Salem's inability to get off the rookie's shoulders by slamming him into the canvas with a savage Samoan Drop! Ropes rattling from the impact, the crowd cheered at the unexpected counter even though it was at the cost of their beloved former champion, who was writhing in pain following the impressive maneuver. His shoulder, his spine, they ached all over again, and this time Salem seemed slower to recover as he weakly kicked his legs, reaching out to grasp at the nearby bottom rope with hopes of pulling himself to a better position!

Trent would have hit the move and would have stayed down after executing it. A big weight coming down on him once he fell, but he had to fight back still. He has yet to get the pin-fall. Trent would begin to roll outside the ring, slowly but surely he would make it and fall near the heap of what he threw himself into earlier. Going through the tools and everything, the crowd would begin to even out on sides surprisingly. Maybe they were surprised The Archangel was fighting back as much as he was. Trent would move through the alarm clocks and waste and pick up a fire extinguisher, of course it wasn't exposed he had it yet, but he would soon show the world and Salem that he had a weapon.

Getting a grip on the bottom rope, Salem pulled himself out of the ring from the opposite side that Trent had departed from, leaving Salem hunched over on the matted concrete where he couldn't see that Trent was sifting through the pile of weapons. All Salem was concerned with at the moment was getting his breath, regaining his stamina, getting back into the fight and putting Trent down for good - things he could only accomplish if he had time to recover, which he tried to draw out by beginning a slow pace around ringside towards his opponent's position. Each step felt like it was weighed down with a cinderblock, but Salem still pressed on - unwilling to give up, even if he wasn't armed. But as he turned the corner to the side Trent was occupying, his eyes caught attention to the fire extinguisher in his hands. Croft paused in his steps, standing at the corner while Trent stood amidst the pile of weapons that'd been offered up by the audience earlier in the fight. Unsure if he should arm himself first or just advance, he hesitated while staring down the adversarial upstart.

Trent rose and faced his adversary while he had the fire extinguisher in his hands. This would definitely put out Salem's fire, and that is what he looked to do. But first, he had to tease the man who had nowhere to go. He would pull the tab off, aim the hose in the air and shoot it, making sure it works and once that was done he looked at Salem once last time before he began to spray in his direction. The place would begin to fog up in the spot, almost as if it would spread around the arena and swallow everyone up, that includes Trent who not only sprayed in his direction, but walked into the fog to make sure he got the man who was the target. The crowd could barely see and they aren't so sure they want to see.

Before he could react, Trent brandished his weapon and started spewing smoke all across ringside - the hose, spewing fog like the arena was descending into the realm of 'Silent Hill'. This wasn't a video game, though, and it was likely someone would end up getting hurt as Trent charged into the cloud he'd created, the fans unable to see just what was taking place in the plume of smoke that had stretched from the barricade to nearly the middle of the ring. Anxious, worried, nervous, the fans let out jeers for Trent's attitude and pleas for Salem's safety while they waited for the smoke to settle!

Trent went from getting a good response from the crowd, to back where he was before. Boo's filling the arena and an arena full of nail-biters, waiting for the smoke to lift and reveal what lied under the cover of fog. Slowly, it would begin to do that, and what showed first was Trent with the fire extinguisher placed near him, and Trent looking around his surroundings, trying to find where the Copperhead was. He was sure that he had soaked the man in a bone-chilling smoke which would make most men fall to the ground and into the fetal position, trying to regain warmth. However, Salem was different and couldn't be seen currently.

Truly, as the smoke cleared it became obvious that Salem wasn't to be found at ringside where Trent had been ready to attack...but rather, the crafty Copperhead had snuck onto the mat during the fogging attempt, and was now perched up on the top turnbuckle of the corner Trent stood! Fans cheering as they finally started to see Salem's silhouette made apparent, Croft wasted no time in trying to leap off at Trent and catch him by the neck - hoping to twist and bring his head down into the exposed concrete that'd been pulled up earlier with his signature maneuver, the Sidewinder DDT!

Trent heard the cheering, and that obviously wasn't good news. However, he had to turn around and what he turned to was horrific, seeing Salem on top of the turnbuckle launching at him. It was too late to avoid the maneuver, so he was hit by the Sidewinder DDT which resembled Trent's starbound finisher but it would do a lot more damage because Trent's head would meet with concrete. Trent's head would bounce off the cement, instantly a cracking sound being made which wasn't good. Trent would have than after hitting the cement, done a flip and land on the rest of the cement, back first. His leg leaning against what was the barricade to contain the crowd who was cheering crazily within their cage. Salem may have injured Trent permanently with that maneuver.

As Trent's skull bounced against the concrete, the audience erupted with cheers for Salem, having overcome the adversity of the situation to catch his opponent by surprise with a lethal-looking signature maneuver! Sitting up to his knees, "The Copperhead" placed his hands to the cement and soaked in the moment, trying to muster up some strength to take advantage of the momentum and get this job done. Pushing himself up to a vertical base while Trent was still out cold, Croft approached the nearby barricade and leaned against it, sweat dripping from his brow as he eyed a police officer in the front row near to them. Glancing down at the man's taser and cuffs, Salem gestured to the trinkets idly with one hand and asked a simple question:
"Do you mind?"
Without hesitating, the cop smiled and unfastened the tools of Trent's undoing from his utility belt, perhaps more willing to help Salem against a guy who'd so blatantly disrespected a woman earlier for the same reason. Turning back towards Trent, "The Copperhead" approached with a staggered limp, looking to thrust the tip of one of his steel-toed boots into the lad's ribs, hoping to roll him over onto his stomach while his hands were occupied with his new goodies!

Salem would be scavenging for new weapons while Trent wasn't moving at all, ideas and everything would have went through his head earlier possibly, but after a kendo shot and his head hitting the concrete and popping back up like a rubber ball. No one would be able to think or do anything, but he would do something. That something was roll on to his stomach after enduring a hard kick into his ribs. Trent's bloodied face would cough up spit and his body would turn over in result of the blatant stomp.

Now with Trent on his back, Salem could do what he'd aimed to the moment he'd saw that flash of gold off the officer's shield in the crowd - and that was kneel down and begin handcuffing the rook's wrists behind his back. With Trent so disoriented, it was doubtful he'd offer much resistance to being shackled, but if "The Copperhead" managed to make the cuffs click he'd turn his attention to the other object in his possession...the black, phone-sized taser that'd been given to him courtesy of the Louisville P.D. Fans already anticipating what would come next, the building would rattle with cheers as Salem flipped the device on - creating a continuous spark of electricity at the tip - before jabbing it down and jolting Trent with a few thousand volts square to the back!

Trent would begin to be cuffed, the crowd on top of their feet seeing both tools in the disposal of Salem at this point. Trent would be cuffed completely, and once the razor was pointed out to the crowd completely and began to be sued, Trent began to pant at a fast pace, unable to speak. However, nothing he could do would save him from this horrible fate he has succumbed to. He would have been jabbed with the taser as millions of watts flowed through his body, making his body automatically convulse violently around. Luckily those handcuffs were around him, otherwise Salem would be slapped from his arms going everywhere. Salem wouldn't stop after doing it for awhile, instead he would continuously do it while Trent slowly fell to the ground more, and more, and more. His brain and body barely able to take this much electricity running through his body. Once Salem stopped, it was obvious Trent's movement stopped and he was either knocked out cold or possibly dead from this, Salem taking to the extremes for the win. However, Trent did have it come to him, seeing he could beat anyone within an inch of their life earlier, however it was him who was beat within an inch of his life.

Salem didn't stop until the smell of searing flesh started to singe his nostrils, an ample number of red whelps having formed on Trent's back where the electrodes had made contact with skin. Though Trent was unhappy - or at least, he would've been had he still been conscious - the fans had been gleeful at the brutality on display for them at the hands of their favorite son. Salem had turned a new leaf it appeared following his defeat of Ryan Killman, and as he grabbed Trent by the hair and started dragging him across the ground towards the apron, he sure looked as though not even Hell could hold back the viciousness that had been unleashed within the young man's soul. It was difficult, trying to pull Trent up to the apron and roll him back onto the mat, but "The Copperhead" completed this challenge - slipping back into the ring to a chorus of praise as he crawled towards the center of the ring...towards his prone, passed-out prey...

Trent would have been carried back to the ring somehow, seeing he was completely dead weight and Salem didn't weigh that much and didn't seem fit enough to carry a man like that to the ring. But it was achieved, and Trent's body would be thrown in near the middle of the ring, showing no signs of movement once he stopped his movements. Was Trent alright? That didn't matter to the fans, all they wanted to see was the Copperhead come out on top, even though some realized they took this a bit far, seeing those whelps on his neck and patches of very red skin shown. Even some of the people near the site of where he got electrocuted by the taser had a scent left, of burning flesh leftover. Trent would lie in the middle of the ring, with his predator very close to him.
