Tracey wasn't claws but he was damn well good enough as Rep shrugged off the claws against his shield and charged forward into the demons with a cleave which knocked two of them off of their feet. He was completely immersed in the battle, hardly paying attention to anything other than the fight and the position and condition of Harrison and Jordan.

Tracey made a satisfied sound, a hum of pleasure as he announced delighted and breathless that they had a charge and that they should use it. In time with this, the axe lit up from end to end, runes blazing brightly.

Harrison felt slightly restless. It was B0nez in charge of balancing the tactics- what any of them could take to keep all of them alive. But the deeper they fought their way into the casino, the less satisfied he felt.

It was a relief to hear the electric hum of the charge.

He steadied the long blade of the sword, pointing B0nez's tip into the thick of the goons.

"Hey, hallow-heads," he taunted, before pulling the trigger and sending a ball of energy crashing into their midst.

The crackle and snarl of B0nez's electric charge sent a couple of demons smoking into nothingness, drew a pleased laugh out of Jordan. The group of guards had diminished noticeably by now. Jordan stepped into a quick swing, sent Ferros smashing into another of the demons, and watched with satisfaction as she dissipated and Ferros's runes lit pulsing red with a charge.

One guard remained, and Jordan danced back a few steps and nodded at Rep, grinning again, offering him the kill.

Rep watched the other two do their part in the fray with admiration, familiar with this setting and impressed enough to actually laugh out loud as Harrison actually managed to nail the guards with B0nez' charge. Apparently Vegas and associated things did ******** wonders for his normally dubious aim.

And soon enough there was just one left. After swiping at Rep one last time, reality dawned on him and the last guard looked horrified at the three barely human creatures he found himself up against without any further backup. Rather than dissipate like his fellows, he turned on his tail to run.

All it took was a twist of Tracey's hook to trip the unfortunate demon.

"Maybe the Boss should do the honours." Rep said, and bowed with a butler-like wave of a hand, smirking from ear to ear.

"Don't mind if I do," Harrison said, getting some air. He brought down B0nez's main blade in full force into the demon's prone back, and the fear burst around the sword, some getting sucked up by proxy.

Harrison stood, shoving B0nez into his belt and grinning.

"That does it for the dealers. Now. Let's see how they're running in the back."

Jordan rested Ferros over his shoulder and sidled over to pull Harrison into a quick kiss. "Thanks," he murmured against Harrison's lips, then let him go. "Anything they've got here, we can handle."

Rep could feel himself slipping into that strange and heady place where the other self had more sway over his decisions than he did. The other self asked almost nothing of Harrison other than what was given, and what he did ask was carefully worded. He turned to check out the back of the casino as requested straight away. He didn't desummon Tracey just in case.

Most of the demons had cleared out of the casino when the trouble went down, leaving the place empty, strewn with chips and items of clothing such as hats and boas discarded in the fray. Along the back wall of the place was a token exchange window, under some large blue letters which said the same. What knowledge of blue kingdom lingered behind said that this was the place which fronted up the safe area. It was barred and locked and seemed like it could withstand even a car crash.

Rep tried the door but didn't expect much. It didn't budge an inch.

"I think this is where they keep their good s**t." he said hopefully.

Harrison took his finger off the trigger, gesturing. "What, this is their security system? A big ******** door. They don't even got. Wards and s**t on it."

B0nez lit up, hilt to tip turning a very distinctive shade of blue.

He flipped the sword over, and with almost uncanny speed, made a series of movements only marked by zig-zagged light trails, until Harrison was finished and B0nez sizzled back to pink.

Harrison hung B0nez on his hip smugly.

The door was sturdy, able to withstand a truck at the very least, but its designers clearly had never counted on B0nez. In the wake of the light trails the door crumbled into so many planks of useless wood and steel.

"Not ******** bad Boss." Rep said with a very toothy grin.

Beyond the token counter was a white, tiled room which was far larger than one would expect, big enough to house an Olympic size swimming pool. On the far side there were what appeared to be the casino's vaults

The blue vault was a vast steel door, circular and emblazoned with what appeared to be magic circles and symbols engraved deeply into the steel. Together they formed what appeared to be a familiar crown symbol, all angular arrow-like spikes set with a cold blue central glow. Next to said vault, strangely there was another safe, one far more conventional and apparently more often used. Plastic bagged casino chips and cash were laid out in front of it from where the demons were interrupted by the attack. It raised the question if even the demons themselves were able to unlock the blue vault, the door pristine in every way.

Blinking on the blue door, below the crown was a key pad reminiscent to those present of another one in another place.

"Can't keep you out, of course," Jordan said, approving, proud. He strolled into the tiled room, looking the facilities and their contents over thoughtfully. The conventional safe and the money nearby got a curious once-over. "I don't think they're using the vault," he observed, then grinned sharply and picked up one of the packets of bills. "Don't think they're using this right now either."

"Hoooooly s**t," Harrison whistled, swiping a whole plastic bag.

"This is real too, right? Not pumpkin seeds or...or whatever the ********." He felt the money between his fingers. "s**t. s**t, you guys, just one of these-" He noticed the crown symbol.

Harrison walked like a man out of a dream, still holding the bag.

"What's going on here?" he asked softly.

"Never mind just one of them." Rep said coolly, sliding even further to his other self, his other thoughts. "We should ******** take them all, they don't belong to these demons, they rightly belong to us." He stepped over bags strewn on the floor and eyed the vault alongside Harrison. "Your guess is as good as mine but I think this is ******** ours too if you ask me." Part of him recognised the keypad, remembered a string of numbers.

The casino had not only been the most state of the art of its kind, stories and stories of shining polished glass and blue neon lights but it had been a fortress unto itself. It housed the best and strongest in the kingdom and no one but the triumvirate could open the vault. Each of them had held a portion of the opening code, to truly siege the place, all three of them would have to be compromised.

"Do you think the code would work?" he asked uncertainly.

"I don't think anyone's going to object. Or if they do, they won't for long," and Jordan's smile was entirely that of his other self. He turned toward the vault door, studied it thoughtfully, heard the echo of other memories examining it along with him. A code rose out of those memories, a sequence of numbers. "Only one way to find out," he said.

He moved over to the keypad and entered the code, a rapid series of presses that was as much kinetic memory as numeric, quick and certain. The keypad beeped once. He stepped back, looked to Harrison.

Harrison shifted his grip to B0nez's handle, and waited.

He would have felt more secure with a set of automatics.

Rep stopped fighting the instincts that insistently roiled in his thoughts, stepping forward after Jordan to type in his own sequence of numbers. He had no real memory for numbers but these ones felt familiar to him, like an old friend's face gone but not forgotten. The fact they'd not been presented with any errors as yet was heartening. He wanted to know what was in there, wanted to see what was worth keeping in such an elaborate vault.

His code input fully he looked to Harrison on instinct. "Think it just needs yours now Boss." he said with a grin.
