Dhati had sat outside the cave while Temari was giving birth, he saw no reason to crowd her. He smiled at Cushti but didn't say a word, his pups would arrive soon.
He laid down and licked at his paws, they were a little sore from all the walking they had been doing, but right now everything seemed good. They were in the pack lands and one litter had been born and another to be very soon. He just smiled, happy and content.

Demani continued to suck on his brothers ear he knew that he must have come from the same place he did then he heard another sound was it comming from another one off the same kind as himself? he crawled over his brother and fell down on his sister...he growled a little and sniffed a little on her...hm this one smell diffrent. He tried to see with his eyes but things where still blure. Then he snugged his sister this one was much smaller then the other kicking thing so he didn't want to kick her back..

 Poki was not please when his brother suddenly moved. The pup made squaking noise, much like a distressed bird. Why he made this sound, he wasn't quite sure. But it made his face go cross with sourness. The weight that was his brother didn't last that long, as he felt his brother roll off of him. He twisted and blinked his bluey eyes, making another squak sound mixed with the same bleating noise that he had first made. He tried to focus on the other noise, one that sounded like him, maybe another brother? No... it was a different smell. He would find out later, he was tired now, and a long yawn came over his little mouth. He blinked his beady eyes and pushed his face into his mother's side and fell asleep.

Lifting her head, Temari saw that Yakuti was slinking forward. She was a little possesive of her pups, but at the same time she wasn't afriad of Yakut. She knew that she would treat them well. So slowly she nosed her little girl over towards her. Kizaki let out a little yip of annoyance as she was pushed, but she seemed to be fine with it. "Go ahead." Temari told the female. It's okay.
Kizaki didn't know exactly what had pushed her, but it hadn't been a rough push. It had been a light one. A new smell met her nose, one that didn't smell like any of the others she had smelled before. A little dusty but really warm, the little female lifted her head and opened her jem green eyes. She gazed up at the other female happily. She didn't know that it was a female or even another dog. She didn't even know that she was a dog really, but she knew that whoever it was, was nice.

Yakuti took a sudden step back nervously but blinked, wondering what Temari was thinking. Yuka was still a nervous mess and she still wasn't used to all these dogs but she knelt down slowly and came as best she could, to be face to face with the femme pup. Yakuti gently and slowly reached out a paw as if wondering how and what to do or say to it. She retracted her paw quickly and tilted her head. Those eyes, such green eyes, they startled Yakuti. She was getting even more nervous she'd do something wrong, so she took a deep breath and then flatened her ears and then tried her best to smile at the pup.

Temari smiled warmly at Yakuti, she trusted the other female even if she didn't trust herself. She seemed a little afraid to hurt her, but from what Temari could tell, these pups were darn near indestructable. She wouldn't hurt Kizaki at all.
She smelled something that she could only define as fear or something scared. Kizaki wasn't sure what those words meant yet, but she knew that the female in front of her was suffering from them. Crawling forward on her tummy, the little female licked the larger one on the nose with her small tongue. It wasn't that she was looking for food or something, she just wanted the female to not look afraid, or something like that she supposed.

Demani seemed a little well shocked when his sister was moved from him..where did that weird smelling thing go? he sniffed a little and ah there it was he started to crawl away to there she was...Temari could anytime stop him because Demani is a very curious baby...he crawled all the way to his sister and what was this another weird smell? he looked up at Yakuti she was the same as his mother but at the same time not..his eyes was still a little blure so he was using his nose more.

Jamaa smiled as he watched Temari's pups crawl over to Yakuti. Even the little ones want to be near her. Jamaa reached down and tapped the remaining pup to go with the other two. But on second thought, it would be better off doing it himself. Instead he reached over to Temari, nuzzling her.
"They are wonderful, no?"

Temari smiled broadly at Jamaa and licked him as he nuzzled her. She was happy, and proud of her pups for being so forward in a way. Demani and Kizaki both. She wondered if she could nose Poki into going over too. But two was probably too much for Yakuti even. All of them was asking too much. Even if the female wanted to change, you didn't change over night. Temari understood that. "Yes they are. I can't wait until they're all grown up and can run around."

The dark dog's ear flicked as she listened, a smile on her maw. Her acid-green gaze turned to Dhati, watching him. "Your paws okay?" She shifted, getting up and going over. "A long rest might do us all good now that we're here..." A comforting smile came upon her face.

Yuka was already freaked from one pup, who had even gone so far as to lick her nose. A shiver was quickly sent down the misty femme's spine as she whimpered. She didn't move though but as Demani came over she wanted to bolt. Two was going a little too far. She tried her best to stay calm and smile at Demani too. The pups were cute, she had to admit, but ... she still was so afraid and so nervous it wasn't going well and she was on the edge. She was trying so hard but she had reached her limit for the day. Her body wouldn't move though and so she remained, staring and smiling stupidly at the cute pups of her best and first friend.

The female had found a suitable cave to rest in momentraily, however the sharp pains in her stomach seemed to warn her of the forthcoming labour. She wondered whether she should get Dhati... Her stomach squeezed painfully, contractions becoming faster as time slipped away.
Even if she had decided to fetch her mate, the pain would have made her immobile, so she lay stretched out, her large stomach rising and falling with each long breath. Feeling that stabbing sensation again, she tried her best to push the pup out into the world. After a few hard minutes, or what seemed like hours, the first pup was born. As the ebony and cream figure slide out onto the floor, the pain was eased by Matakas awe. He was so beautiful... She could definately feel her maternal instincts kicking in, and moved the pup so he could feed from her.
Though any awe was soon wiped away by another set of contractions. Her eyes were shut tight as she forced herself to birth the next pup, already tired and in great pain. Feeling the relief of the second birth, her sapphire eyes found a rather unsual coloured pup. Blue!? Sure enough, she was looking down on a gorgeous blue and black pup, though were his colours had appeared from was a mystery! Had she had any breath to spare, she would have let out a laugh, but instead focused on the next pup.
As the pain took over her again, she wondered how many more there was, would she have 3, or maybe even 4?! She started to pant, as the birthing grew more difficult with each pup. After pushing as hard as her strength would allow her, her daughter was born. Licking the new pup, she pushed her against her stomach where she could feed next to her brothers. She looked just like Dhati. Though maybe she had her mothers eyes?
As Mataka felt another pup stirred, she became concerned. How many more were there? Would she be able to birth them all successfully? She was saddened at the thought that one or two could even die. Where was Dhati? Did he know she was in labour?

Dhati smiled at Cushti, "Yes I believe a rest would do us good, feel free to find somewhere to rest and call your own." He smiled and looked to the sky before looking around. "Mataka?" He looked concerned and then turned to Cushti, "Excuse me." He then went off following the scent that was turning into the scent of blood and other stuff, "The pups?"
He suddenly ran and found the entrance of the cave where he looked down on the three small pups but Mataka was still in pain. He trotted in and licked at her head, "Oh Mataka, darling." He laid down beside her head licking at it as she went through the pain.
The small femme laid quite happily with her brothers, she moved around squeaking a little. Her eyes were still shut and her body damp but she was in the world. A small beautiful pup that she was.
She started to drink some of her mothers milk before falling asleep, its a hard life when your small, eating and sleeping.

She was glad to see the face of the one she loved. Turning her head towards him, she managed a smile. "Dhati..." She said, words cut off by the constant pain.
Squeezing her muscles together she was beginning to struggle now, her fur was already slick with sweat and her eyes were thinning as she became exhausted. Pushing harder she felt the sudden relief of the fourth pup; an orange and white blur.
She watched her third son fondly for a second, before moving him towards her stomach, maternal instincts told her to bathe and nuzzle the pups, but her stomach told her otherwise. "Another?" She half-questioned, as the pain grew more intense. She was close to losing conciousness now, her body pressed into the hard ground, legs numb. She just wanted to get this over with, she wanted it all to end.
And then, in her flurry of thoughts, the fifth cub arrived, his pelt an array of colours, from Matakas ebony to Dhatis orange. He appeared to have a cross on his leg. Another son. She moved him to join his siblings, and looked to Dhati.
"Look." Mataka said, her loving gaze falling onto each pup in turn. "Our family." She said simply, raising her head to lick his maw. Peace within her body once more. Though it was shattered with another sharp pain. Surely there was not another pup?! Fear was visible in her eyes as she squinted and went through the painful process for the last time.
Vision and hearing were impaired, limbs numb and weak, and minds drifting. However she had to deliver this final pup. After what seemed like hours of painful endurance, the runt of the litter was born. Cream and ebony in colouration, she made sure to clean him and rest him near to her. The remaining strength she had was used to utter three words to Dhati. "I love you."
She closed her eyes and promptly fell asleep.
The pup wriggled frantically, all these bodies closing in on him. He was being squished! Mtanizi began to drink again, only after nudging his sister accidentally.

Dhati looked at Mataka and then at the pups, "How did they get in side you girl? They are so big!" He smiled though and sat by his mate, licking at her head. Their family was adorable, six pups though and one blue?
"Mataka, why is that one a funny colour?" He asked, tilting his head to the side slightly. This was a strange pup, very, very strange!! "You can name them all my darling mate!" He chuckled and laid behind her, resting his head on her body while watching the pups.
