"Congratulations on surviving!"
You turn towards the source of the voice, and are unsurprised to find the Gas-Mask wearing Fracs sitting on the tallest pile of rubble, looking down on them. Its head was tilted just slightly and its ears were perked as high as they could go - it was very interested in those below.
"You're all doing much better this time!" It nodded, flicking its tail excitedly. It then looked away, to the back of the room - which was actually what used to be room B3A for those with basement maps - to see the clock on the wall, which hung miraculously undamaged. "You've still got some time before the door opens again~" It said, distracted, before it tilted its head again to look down on the group below.
"So yeah, same rules apply as last time, follow the rules, find your way out, you choose the four however you'd like blah blah blah~" It waved its hoof in lazy dismissal. "You know this, though. Nothing's changed." It sounded terribly bored, but impatient to get started again. "Any questions?" It said, as if it expected none.

Marzena tensed back up again as she caught sight of the fracs, searing blue eyes narrowing once again into very angry slits. The ghoul took a step forward towards the minipet, glowering menacingly, fists clenched by her side. A part of her wanted so desperately to run right after it and wrap her hands around its neck and wring it, but she needed information.
Dead men told no tales.
"Why did you steal from us?" She asked, through gritted teeth, slowly taking deep breaths to calm her nerves. "And what do you mean by choose the four?"

Mathias thought about the key in his pocket, then thought about what the fracs had told him earlier. He couldn't trust them, not yet, so when he spoke again, it was to only say, again, "Vas not given time to search." There was a more surly edge to his voice then before, his eyes remaining down cast, only rising to take quick peeks at those who spoke, and only then when it was a boil, as making eye contact with a ghoul could end in catastrophe. There were only a couple he recognized from those peeks, and neither were friends, though one he knew was a friend of Jove's.... He would keep that under consideration for later, because as much as he did not wish to feel alone here, he still did. The fracs came back, and Mathias listened attentively, ears perking in that direction. "I have questions. You are saying ve have done this vonce before, or more? How many times?" Maybe he was misinterpreting the fracs words, but this would help tell.

"Much…better, this time?" he hesitated. "Do you mean, we personally have done this before like…HE said." He gave a small nod to the boil who had a slight edge to his voice for reasons he didn't know. "Or… do you mean than, the previous time you've run such games. I saw the articles on the trial, I assume that you…. are, or, you're somehow, involved with the Game Master. " He swallowed hard. "How many chances to we have to get to the door, where is the door, and what happens if we can't make it? And they already asked but…what do you mean CHOOSE the FOUR?" He added one last question after an anxious moment. "And why US?!"

The Frac's head tilted to the left, and then the right, and back to the left as it listened to the group and took in their questions.
"You gave them to me, remember?" Fracs said, snorting. "Wait - you guys really don't remember? You've been here for--" The creature paused and turned its head, looking at the boil called Pachua. "Well, aren't you well read!" It cackled behind its mask, and went back to addressing the group as a whole.
"I'm sorry, it's probably my fault - you remembered the last few times! Oh well, no matter ~ I'll explain again -" It cleared its throat and sat up just a little straighter. "You're here to play a little game. The rules are simple: Listen to instructions, and find a way out. There are - were - no other rules, but someone -" It turned its head, looking straight at Marzena for a rather obvious few minutes. "-forced my hand. So there is one other - Don't attack me." It shook its head with a little tsking noise, before continuing.
"But - as I hope you'll recall - I said that four will get out. That part's still true. You can either come to a-" It yawned, loudly, behind its mask "-civil agreement as to who gets out -" Clearly, it didn't like this option. It was boring. "-or you can fight about it! However you want, really. Fair enough? Am I joggin any noggins yet? 'Cause I really don't wanna have to go through this again."

NOPE he was so not falling! Somehow in a desperate attempt to not tumble down into the abyss, as the floor opened up, up he sunk his claws into the closest thing possible - a veeery tiny ledge. Without his claws it would have been impossible to hold on, it was a wonder he was even still dangling there a few minutes later. Maybe it was determination or sheer stubbornness, was there even a difference? Even better? The 'fun house' had caused the lights on the top floors to go out, so he really could not see well. He thought he heard voices from down below, but color him crazy if he did not want to figure out what was down there. That was, until a pair of feet materialized and tried to crush his fingers under their heels. " HEY not cool." Hissing out, he looked up to see the shadowy figure of someone with their hands in their pockets. It didn't take much more coaxing after that, one more fine placed stomp and his holding was compromised. He fell and, after giving out a little high pitched screech, landed rather roughly on something a little boney. And feathery? Oops. The statement made him catch his breath, not the laughter at what he had read, but the statement that four, and only four could escape. Alarm seizing in his chest like a fist.
"…W… Where is Remi?!" He said both wings flaring wide, one more than slightly crooked, its feathers bent and a few even bleeding.
Some questions you just didn't expect the answer for though. He looked upwards sharply to see the source of the familiar sounding shriek, just in time to let out a squawk of his own, and Remi, landed on him.
"Jack….damnit…. Remi."

"So vhy still here? Have not done choosing correctly before?" He asked, because if it was true that they had done this several times already....No, it just didn't make any sense. "Obviously vas not choice last time." He grumbled to himself, arms crossing over his chest as he peeked up sullenly at the group, eyes finding the bright colored plumage of one boils wings, while his own remained tucked in tight against his back, for the most part undamaged (not that he was able to fly with them anyways). "Gamemaster?" He repeated. Mathias obviously did not pay attention to the news. And then another crash landed on the boil he was looking at, and Mathias cringed, eyes dropping once more.

"He'll be joining us soon." The Fracs said to Pachua, giving a nod of approval as a literal second later, the Kitsune in question fell from the ceiling. Then, to Mathias, it continued:
"Oh, I don't care who you choose~" A hoof waved vaguely in dismissal. "-I only care that you do choose. You guys decided to brand together and find another way - pah!" It didn't hold back any ounce of mockery in its small, squeaky voice. If the Fracs could have spit, it likely would have. "Then you guys were a lot more fun but, alas~" It shrugged.

He wasn't sure what would have been more comfortable, landing on the floor or landing on Pachua. He rather he didn't find out, just in case the prior hurt more so. "Ow ow ow." He whined, taking a moment to roll off his friend. "Sorry 'bout that Pachua" He mumbled, wincing a little. He turned his attention to Mathias, and then to their little 'friend'. What was he going on about now? Quote: oop ILU all being stolen IRL ill be back in a few @__@

“Remi…I ssssswear… if you do anything Ssssssstupid.” He was hissing his ‘s’s’ through his teeth in part because of pain and in part because the memory of Remi and the black crown was all too fresh. “Just…get off.” He shoved at the poor addled blue fox. “Are you alright?” he asked in concern a moment later. “Ssss… so…because we banded together… we had to Ss…Start over?” he was clearly trying to bite back either pain or frustration when he addressed the mini pet again. “What happens, if we chose people who leave, what happens to those who stay?” He swallowed hard, which suggested he had…some idea. “What did you do to those…who didn’t make it out… Parker Freeman.”

The moon eyed ghost's head snapped up. He gave him his shiny? No. He would never give his shiny away. He would never willingly let anyone touch it. It was his and Spiridon was loath to give it up.
The shaking stopped as he stood up, saucer eyes staring right at the fracks.
"W-why di-did you take o-our th-things?" he said, but too soft for most to hear. He clenched his hands, pulling them away from his chest that was covered in scratches. Spiridon took a few forceful steps forward and tried again.
"Why did you take our th-things? Why did you put us he-here? Why let us choose wh-when it cl-clearly didn't work? Why do this at all?" His voice caught in places, but it was stronger than it had been this whole time. He was angry, he was tired, and he wanted his moonstone back.
If it meant killing that little minipet, then so be it.

He kept an ear open as he lay there mostly motionless, finally growing motivated enough to sit up when the fracs spoke of them having been here before. He could believe that he might have voluntarily handed over his things given enough of a reason, but this was more than that. Possessions were nice, sure, but Brenley's mind was far more important than some scarf. He couldn't recall ever having been in this building before in his life. If these claims were true and this thing could prove it... well, he wanted to know more as soon as possible.
Also curious to hear the answer to the quetzalcoatl's question regarding the fate of the remaining students, the reaper brushed himself off and stood up while he waited for the fracs' reply.

"Oh! I am so very sorry, friend! Ulka immediately dislatched from Pachua, flushing in embarrassment. They'd all just fallen- sometimes he forgot that other monsters were more... prone to fall-damage. As silly as it looked, a plush body had its benefits. Stepping a fair distance back from his friend, Ulka looked the other boil over happily. He was so excited to talk, to catch up and reminisce about Wonderland, when once more the Fracs appeared.
Pachua seemed to understand its implications, but Ulka didn't. He frowned, looking between the masked creature and those few monsters he knew. It had been tense before, yes, but now... he didn't know. They had to choose who left? Did that mean the rest of them would be staying here?
"I don't think I like this game. I don't think I like any of these games," Ulka said quietly, ears drooping. Shuffling closer to Pachua, he tapped his friend (gently! gently this time) on the shoulder, to try and get his attention.
"D-does this happen a lot? Because between Wonderland and this, um. I am starting to wonder if I should have enrolled at all.

"I will survive. Thank you, though, Pachua." Aurel gave a tight smile toward the serpent, mostly just trying to block it out. He was sure that it would end up getting to him more and more by the end of it but he was a stubborn little s**t and he'd do his very best.
"I am Aurel. I have been here a long time, but just came back. Obviously, this was a poor choice."
As the Fracs explained and everyone asked questions he liked the entire thing less and less. He already wanted to squeeze the head off of the Fracs - and it wasn't making it much easier to withold from doing.
"...Only four get out. At a time? You said we did this before. Does this mean that we will do it again? I echo what was asked. What happens to those who are left behind? I do not remember, I do not think any of us remember. So you will have to go through it again." The last part was not said kindly.
