Aisha still hungered but Llyr's gentle pleading brought her back to him. He still hadn't even shared his name with her. "We're trying.." The undead was doing her best to ignore the horsewoman's talking. She was infuriating and seemed to feeding off those who were weaker. The lack of compassion ate at her almost as much as the never ending hunger. But the urgings of her loa came through, enough to calm Aisha's anger and have her stay by her new friend's side. "Leave them alone." Her orange eyes burned deeply. "You've no right to take anything from any one of us." --------- Sta: 4 Inv: 1 lit torch

He didn't have to go far, and there really wasn't much room to move anyways. Jove had found him, and with sounds emitting from him that sounded a lot like displeasure, Mathias curled back his lip from his teeth. "I could not vait on otherside of door that smelled like had gone through." His hackles were up, likely feeling a bit more on the edgy side because of the strange place, and the hunger that gnawed within him. He let Jove pull him, however, without much of a fuss. "Vut is place? Vhere are ve, Jove?" He asked, not really expecting much of a response as he was made to stand next to another, very miserable looking....boil, yes, it was a boil thank all the things it was not a ghoul. But then there suddenly was a ghoul, and she was calling him prey. Hackles back up. "AM NOT PREY! AND HE IS NOT YOUR DOG!" He growled, red eyes flashing angrily as he felt his own Fear being stolen from him. With a springing step forward, he lunged at the woman, long, protruding fangs flashing in the torchlight a moment before he sunk them into her arm. And stole back the Fear she took, and then some. 10

"Hey, hey, I'll get you back to your room soon s'I can," Piper assured him with a smile. "It's just dark in here, that's all. We're trying, like she said." If Wonderland gave her anything remotely positive, it was the noting that smiling in the face of evil or darkness of just regular bad stuff helped get her through things.
Even with a stomach begging her to just take his Fear if he wanted to leave so badly.
As it began to escalate with someone calling themselves of the Clans (what?), Brenley did appear in the torchlight; she didn't bother hiding her relief. "I dunno," Piper told him. "Not a great time for intros, I guess . . ." Maybe it'd help distract the boil some, plus, as always, making friends in odd circumstances. "Piper Blacke," she told the two, sounding as buoyant as she could. "Let's say we work together to figure this out, huh? What's her problem anyway?" Her eyes flicked to the woman raving about power.

Lan spun. Hand reaching out to grab the boil's face. "Numbers do not ensure survival. Brutality, determination, those do. Are you willing to eat allies in the end? Are you willing to kill lovers? To watch those who would follow you fall? Numbers are meaningless to conquest, you must rely on will, on persistence, strength. " She smiled. "I hunger, so I feed. Weakness has no place here. You must be resolute. You must understand the nature of what you are- The nature of enemy and ally. Follow instinct, follow a leader, because unless you do, you will not survive. Stamina- 8

"That's enough!" Amrita cried to the quarrelling few, struggling with the hunger tearing through her stomach.
"Lan, you're just as trapped as we are, and the best way out of here is to stop making enemies." The fire demon had been right; there were numbers on their side. If they all took a piece of Lan, she would be no more. "I'm not afraid to do what I have to to protect them, but I'm asking you, as an ally, please, let this go, and let's find a way out. Together."

There was a laughter. A loud, warm laughter as Amrita rose her voice. "THERE! There is the queen inside of you! Embrace it halloweener. Embrace that which you are. Lead them with no hesitation. You and you alone have shown me a determination, and understanding of what will come in the end. What possibly lingers behind closed doors." She walked over, calm, no longer malice or hunger latching into her gaze as she neared the student council vice-president. "As I once advised my emperor let me advise you. Doubt will give them cause, hope will give them strength, but nothing will unite them faster than hate, then fear itself. They are like sheep roaming in a forest alone and unprotected from wolves. You must be their Shepard, you must need a sheep hound to rally them with that fear. As conquest let me give you a hint of what I suspect. Hunters are gathered and pitted against each other- the weak ones go first to motivate the stronger. Yet it is the most ruthless, the ones who are willing to sacrifice others who survive longest. Tell me then, for what purpose would you leave the starved in the same pit to rot?" Her frown was bored, tossing hair back, the mask of her kin returning, if broken, flawed in her hunger. "You have shown me you might understand this better than the others. They will die. They will be consumed. Yet if seek to save them - lead them- direct them as the Shepard would their flock, otherwise they are nothing but lambs for slaughter." everyone in room FYI- I am not 100% sure but I doubt we can go over the HP caps posted in 1st post otherwise FEAR doesn't really have any way of being mutually lost to the group except by over 'eating' or taking actions. Until zoo can confirm deny-be aware of that possible HP fear cap! They all do have runes on them after all and idk what they do/limit

The entire room shook, rather violently, a deafening roar interrupting everyone's conversation as rock and debris collapsed on one side. Their exit was sealed, leaving only the trap door, the trap door that had unhinged thanks to the tremours. It was open, and it was dark.
Anyone who dared venture inside would be blinded without picking up a torch, even those with natural night vision. The darkness simply blotted out everything but the torches, and even then the light from the flames was weak, revealing only a small portion of what lay ahead.
Splash.
They would hit water as they descended through the trap door down the stairs. Just water, nothing else, wet and damp but devoid of smell. In the distance was a strange sound, it sounded like a wet churning noise, but it was interspersed, far, far away. Walking forward lead immediately to a dead end, a wall that spanned either direction. Both directions lead to an exit, and then split off into another exit.
It was an underground maze. OOC NAVIGATING THE UNDERGROUND MAZE exclaim IF YOU ARE DEAD: You safely arrive back in Amityville - dissipate back - knowing none the better, other than a little bit of the ordeal you had here. You cannot come back, but at least you're safer than the ones remaining! - DEAD is if you have NO stamina remaining. [ NAVIGATING THE LABYRINTH ]: You need to [ grab a torch ] from the hallway. This costs 1 stamina point regardless. At this point you can still attack people if you want but if anyone escapes into the labyrinth, PVP is over, because it is simply too dark to attack. The hunger still remains though, a gnawing desperation as you feel yourself slipping. - Everyone is SEPARATED at this point, even with best intentions. You occasionally can find people in the same areas, but for the most part you are isolated until you hit the exit. - You can use natural forms, but this area is too NARROW to fly. - Roll 1d100 and match your dice roll to the result. The goal is to keep on going until you find the [ EXIT ]. Each dice roll takes 1 STAMINA. If you reach 0, once again, you DIE. 1 - 20: You walk until you hit a dead end, with a strange statue staring at you. It looked like some sort of reaper, perhaps, and below the statue are words. EMERYS. 21 - 40: You walk until you reach a dead end, but this time you see a pool, warm and welcoming. It glows a fantastic blue, and you feel invited, somehow. As you step into it, you feel your Fear replenish, just slightly. FULLY RECOVER STAMINA IF YOU ROLL THIS41 - 60: You walk until you stop. You could have sworn you feel someone following you. As you turn around you see only empty what look like cobweb filaments hanging from an unreachable ceiling. A rumbling noise startles you as the wall closest to you grows spikes and tries to impale you! Dead end! - 1 stamina 61 - 80: You walk until you hit a strange, open room, filled with treasure. From crowns, to baubles to swords they entice and lure you. You can't help but pick something up (feel free to pick assortment of treasure up, but just one thing ie: crown, cup, sword, dagger, coin, etc). You keep on walking, feeling a little heavier. 81 - 100: You walk until you hit a large open room, but it feels unlike any of the other rooms. It is a chamber, grand and monstrous, and as you keep on walking you feel as if others are watching you from the ceiling. The archways that span across you are all ornately carved with strange-looking shadowy figures, and at the far end is an empty throne. On the throne is a black crown that cannot be removed. Across from the throne to the left and right are two statues of giant black dragons. There are archways on all sides of the chamber, each of them has a door numbered 1 - 15. There is a tome in the center of the chamber. If you are HERE you can go ahead and investigate anything inside this chamber in BOLD RED. Once again this takes 1 stamina point. PVP is on.

Amrita frowned, listening to Lan's speech in silence. She didn't want to be the Queen, she had never asked to be; it was nothing more than a title from a dream, and it was one she was more than happy to leave where it was. It had no pull in this world, and she preferred it that way.
"I'm not trying to lead them, I'm trying to save them, and to get them out of here, and back home." The patchwork repeated slowly. "We haven't searched the area thoroughly yet. There's no need to jump to conclusions and resort to becoming savages. We are Halloween, we are not the filthy scum the Hunters are."
"Lan. If you go after one of them again, I won't get in their way if they want to get their Revenge." Her gaze then shifted to the pair who had started it all. "The same goes for you two. I know you're hungry, we all are, but for now, we need to get out of here. Put what energy you have to an actual use, or it'll be the end of you."
Before she could say more, the room shook with a terrible roar, and as it settled it was clear: the only way out was down the trap door.
"Well...here we go." Amrita said out loud to the group. She wasted no time in picking up a torch, even if it scared her, and went down into the dark, wet depths of what looked to be a maze.

Shun stared between Amirta and Lan, waiting to see what would happen. To his surprise, Lan had actually backed down. He was just about to forgo his precautions and attack too. Letting out a breath, he shook his head to himself, but then eyed Amrita afterwards. He'll have to quash his urges for certain. He could hold his own but he knew he wouldn't be able to deal with a whole mob of students, regardless their years.
When the room shook, he nearly lost his balance. And just like that, they had an exit.
Peering into the depths, he couldn't see anything but blackness. With a sigh, he grabbed a torch and nodded to the patchwork.
"Forward is the only way."
The reaper closed his eye for a moment, then plunged into the darkness.
He walked for awhile, and eventually came upon what appeared to be a statue of some reaper. The reaper's name was printed out there, but he didn't bother trying to read it. It was just going to expend more energy than he'd like to use.

"It is indeed." The ghoul agreed, mostly muttering to herself, as she moved off to explore the maze. It was time to explore and, hopefully, find a way out before the rest of them decided to kill each other. A couple turns later and she found herself at a pool. It was a rather bright blue and, strangely, inviting.
Amrita took a step into it, and began to feel a little better; at least, she felt the same as she had when she woke up in this strange place. It seemed she wasn't alone though, and she paused to give Shun a smile before she continued on.

Any voices or signs of the others quickly vanished as he moved into the depths of the maze. He was alone now, as far as he could tell. Though, even with that in mind, his eye was scanning around for signs of movement. Trouble. Anything that might be a hazard, whether it be something that lurked these halls or just a hungry student.
That did give him a thought. If he ran into one of the others, he could try to take their fear.
No one would know. Shun gripped the torch and shook his head. No. He had to stop with these thoughts. It wasn't quite the same as trying to kill a hunter. That wasn't to say he hadn't committed 'crimes' against Halloween before, though. This just didn't really seem like a good time for something like that if he could help it.
While he walked, he came upon another dead end. Oh. And here was Amrita too. He gave her a curt nod in turn. There was no statue. Just a glowing pool. There was something about it that drew him in, though not necessarily for a swim. That would go poorly. The Reaper took a few steps into it to investigate and he soon felt fear surging into his body. It was a relief. He waited for Amrita to leave before going on his own way.

The patchwork rounded the corner to see a room filled to the brim with treasure. It had everything in it, and not a single piece failed to tempt her. Which was strange, considering she had little use for random possessions. As she went through the treasure, nudging baubles aside with her heel, she heard something clang beside her; a dagger, it seemed.
She stared at it for a moment before she leaned down, scooping it up and tucking the now stolen treasure into her dress, hiding it. In a place like this, she argued to herself, it was best to be prepared. With the dagger in tow, she turned and headed out once more.

A scuffle had broken out before either of the boys could give her a boost. With all of the FEAR being passed around she found herself swaying on her feet, a snarl curving her lips as she tried not to get caught up in it. It wasn't long after it died down that a second door clicked open. Others were going on ahead, grabbing torches and pressing on. They should go to; best to try and stick together, to not get left behind. Aldara reached up, cursing her lack of height for a moment before finally extending her fingers far enough to [ grab a torch ], pausing to glance over at Pachua again. "Don't die, okay? If we get split up... Keep going and I'll see you on the other side. Don't turn back and don't surrender. Do your ancestors proud." Her words were stern and resolute, carrying a steadiness that her hand didn't have, grasp wavering slightly on the handle of the torch. [ Stamina: 4 ]

...Back at the pool. Was it the same pool? She had no idea. It was just as inviting, and as she stepped into it, it ebbed her hunger just a little bit. The whole situation was easier to handle now that she was alone; there was no temptation, and nobody to try and save. It was just herself and her thoughts, trying to find an exit.

Amrita rounded the next corner, only to find herself in a large room, with--
"Nope." She cried out suddenly, and immediately turned on her toes with every intention of leaving. Everything in this room was familiar to a painful degree, and she wasn't going to have it. The shadows, the throne, the crown, the dragons; not a chance. She was leaving.
Except she couldn't bring herself to actually leave the room. Put her back to it sure, but leave it? That was a whole other issue. She kept looking over her shoulder, temptation urging her back inside.
