the0racle's best bet was to run, and run she did, the Jabberwocky raging behind her. But, in its rage, it seemed to lose track of what it was really after. Panting and huffing, the0racle ran further down the path and away from the rampaging Jabberwocky. It seemed to have found another, less fortunate victim. She was safe, for now, though she could not say the same for those who were trapped underneath the Jabberwocky's watchful gaze now.

His short pause before cost him precious time. Gritting his teeth, he managed to duck to the side just in time for the large head of the Jabberwock to sail past his head. The creature's chin hit his shoulder and Burn stumbled again, but managed to stay on his feet. A huffing cheer of triumph for the creature's failed aim, and he ducked behind some of the trees. Least had to try and give the blasted thing a run for it's munny.

To be fair. He had been in the woods. That was no one's fault but his own. But how he triggered this quest he'd never know. Because the shaking wasn't a good enough bit of proof something was VERY wrong, the cries to flee added.
Still, he didn't actually run until he spotted the thing appearing from the trees. "That... can't be normal..." ALAS... he should have shut his mouth as the thing snapped soundly at him, leaving his HP in the red as he quickly turned to dart away. OW!
Another snap and he felt teeth nearly tearing his tail off(not that it was all the way connected) as he quickly moved to scamper away.
This was not a pleasant day at all! ...then again what had he learned to expect after going to this school for over a year? Normal wasn't well.. normal by definition in Halloween, but there was a level of oddity that went even beyond bizarre. That school and all the things that seemed to chase along with it seemed to lead toward anything but good and his level of normal.

Speed may not have been her strongest suit, no pun intended, but at least she had agility in her favor. As the Jabberwocky blindly destroyed nearly everything in its path the small dormouse girl managed to evade all but biggest of the the flying debris and trees it sprinkled down from above. She managed to fling off the brunt of it with only some minor scrapes and keep moving.
Of course, there was no time to heal. All she could think to do, all she could physically make her body do was RUN. So she ran. Her strategy: to zig and zag every which way she could to keep the beast guessing and play the odds that anymore falling debris would have a harder time hitting her too.

For the time being, it seemed he had lost the monstrous creature. At least it wasn't in immediate sight, but he could feel and hear its heavy steps behind. Letting out a breath, Shadowstep soon hesitated a moment as he heard something... peculiar. He could hear Mitsu calling for him from behind. He knew he shouldn't have. But it was an initial reaction of his. he turned around upon hearing this. The only saw were teeth. He kept running as quickly as he could, the sting of the last bite allowing him to ignore the voices. Or perhaps it was just the ringing of the warning bell in the background. Either way, he wanted NOTHING to do with those rather sharp teeth and made a beeline in the opposite direction.
It seemed the entire forest was going to be shaking with the chaos around it, critters which normally smiled (eerily mind you) at him when he ran by were either darting away, or missing entirely. Likely having already fled from the scripted event. Regardless, he was less than pleased to be stuck in the middle of this, even if he might have some space between him and that thing for now. Bells meant it was still after him...
And he usually liked bells so much. Actually... that made him a bit cross. The path in front of her separated, and a quick glance down both revealed there to be some sort of item down each. WarQueen was not so sure what either might be good for, but she veered right, scooping up the potion as she ran past, and shrugging, she lifted it to her lips to down in one smooth motion as she continued along. Hey, it made her feel a bit better! That was handy. It seemed that the monster was closing in behind her, and taking swipes and glancing bites as she ran. She ran faster in hopes of getting away from the accursed thing once and for all. The next thing he knew was that he was were he was earlier. Just before the Jabberwock had appeared. Blinking, he really didn't have much of a chance to think before the creature came back out of nowhere, snapping at him just as it did before. He cursed under his breath and began to run. He was a little more aware of what was happening this time, knowing what to expect. Shadowstep managed to move out of the way of another bite, feeling only a slight graze against his arm. More snapping of jaws behind her but she could not stop now, she would not stop. All went quiet and still. She had...she had made it to the end? She stopped, though it seemed like a terrible idea to do so, and turned around to look. Nothing. Around her, other survivors milled about. They had made it, and she let out a long sigh, her eyes closing. That had been a bit awful, but it seemed in the end she had been able to persevere. Oh look! Shiny reward time. It was never, ever a good sign when a crowd of anything yelled that "it" was coming. The moment Nightbloom found herself in the midst of the escaping crowd, she just about turned around and began to run herself despite not knowing what this supposed threat was. For all she knew, these silly bird could have just been spooked by something that would be harmless to her, but uh.
No, that thing staring at her over there? Deeefinitely not harmless.
The fact that her pocket card was telling her she only had 5 HP all of a sudden definitely didn't help.

He only paused when he spotted a potion along the way, quickly downing it and letting a low sigh as he heard the warning noise quiet out. But there was still crashing behind him.

|: This was literally the face Mitfael wore the moment the Jabberwork turned the corner and started heading after everyone, himself included. Was this normal? Sounds that way, though everyone still panics it seems. Being bitten by the giant monster didn't help either. Oh great, his HP's down to 10.

Running would be the best choice of action so he did. The second attack missed him, but left a small cut. Nothing too serious, at least he can still run. While there was a p***k of pain, it wasn't anything unbearable. The girl was relieved to find that she simply respawned when she died, but she wished that it wasn't right in front of the damn monster.
