Kiyelt could only think that darn he wanted one of these wierd things. His sailscales didn't share his sentiment and they fluttered off out of the way to watch..ninnies. He tugged at his whip nervously. This would be his first time really using it. Ah, well. There was no sense beating around the bush..or rather the beast. He snapped the whip forward and to his amazement managed a hit. He grinned. COOL! Now to wait and see what happened.

Takoda had been so caught up in the battle, his gaze flickering from one person to the next and then back to find his mate. He was checking to make sure everyone was okay, there was people he knew fighting alongside him and what would be the point if he died here if the only reason he came to the battle field was to be able to heal those in need.
When the people from Oba fell back only to reveal the monstrous creatures in their wake. He heard Jacinthus call out, but it was too late and he found himself unable to dodge the entire attack the beast launched. Stumbling he managed to avoid most of the damage though he felt himself bleeding in several spots. Out of instinct he countered with some water magic though he should of been saving his magic for healing.

To watch Rishima rush forward was like having his heart implode a moment. It was dangerous to just rush up to such immense and menacing creatures like these, but at the same time he felt such admiration for his 'lover'. He wasn't afraid and was fighting head long along with everyone else. It caused him to pause and sigh with how much love he felt for him. And then was reminded they were in a war quite quickly when people were getting hurt and screaming from the pain.
It was time for him to swing his sword and try and bring these beasts down. Following Rishima's lead he went forward and slashed at the beasts legs as well.

Up in the tree's perhaps she had a bit of an advantage, she saw the beasts coming, but they were huge and it cause the tree's to shake and quiver with each step. It caused her foothold to be dangerous and she had to keep moving else risk falling out of the tree. Perhaps that was why she lept at the closest of the creatures and using her spear imbeded it into the side of the creature. Scowling she reffed on the spear and withdrew it from the flesh and quickly tried to move before getting hit.

For a moment it felt like time had stopped, all she saw was the approach of these creatures, they were huge and it caused her to hold her breath. Part of her marveled at them, wondering just how much meat they could get off of it and then it crossed her mind on how her son would want to bring it home and she found herself hissing. No. She wouldn't allow him to even see this beast if she had any choice in the matter. Her hammer raised she charged forward swinging it hard against the beasts leg. Perhaps due to her sudden rage and desire to end the beasts life she was able to hit so hard. Either way the hit left her arm feeling a bit numb and she needed to back up.
The breath caught in Chimelu's throat as he stared at the large beast that had come out before them. It was a monstrous looking thing, covered in armor. Chimelu tried to keep a tight clamp on the fear that had risen within him and readied his crossbow in an attempt to just push the fear from his thoughts. If the beast wanted to get to him then it would first have to go through the short range combatants to get to him. It was a terrible thought but the boy was just trying to get himself to calm down. Telling himself he was in no danger seemed to help a bit. His hands shook as he pulled his crossbow up and shot it at the beast, his eyes closed. When he opened them he saw that his crossbow hadn't been correctly pointed at the beast and completely missed it. He gritted his teeth. He needed to pull himself together if he was going to be able to be of any use at all. "C'mon, pull it together." Chimelu whispered angrily to himself as he once more readied his crossbow.
Gaddok yanked his sword from a soldier’s chest, as he watched the invaders retreat to the forest edge. Gaining his breath he gave chase with his comrades, only to have it ripped from his lungs as three massive creatures stood ready for battle. ‘How does one fight that?! A sword would be little more than a thistle; a nuisance…’ He stared for a moment in disbelief, his stomach in knots. How could they take this down?
The obvious weaknesses to the creature were twenty feet off the ground; eyes, ears, and the tamers who trained it… Clearly he wasn’t going to be able to impact most of that. The next, being the armor. If they could strip the creature of its armor, or maim a leg, they have a chance at lowering its defenses and bringing the beast to the ground. ‘Could damage be done to the creatures’ bare skin? Well, One way to find out right?’ He thought as he advanced.
Avoiding the flying fragments of earth from the creatures stomp, Gaddok threw himself at one of the creature’s legs. He thrust the blade forward into the creature’s calf and to his surprise, the hide gave… creating a minor gash. ‘Well, its something.’
Because he had been waiting for his hand to be slaved quickly he was behind a few of the others but after jogging he had caught up quickly enough. It was tiring to have to run before the fighting had even begun but he had to in order to join the mass that had moved out before. He didn’t focus on talking to others but instead on the mayhem around them.
When the beasts attacked he moved forward ignoring his hand’s twinge of pain and rushed to help. Hastily he pulled his bow back and shot an arrow. Twish~ the sound made him wince. He knew it was a bad shot and true to the sound he missed horribly. He only hoped no one on his side was injured for his mistake.
Iroia didn't pause for breath. She simply focused on the beast she thought looked like a good target and ran for it a war cry on her lips. Her ears ringing with sound and her body ringing with adrenaline she slipped around its feet and got one good stab in. She grunted with exertion and satisfaction. Beasts were no match when you were a beast yourself, she grinned fiercely and sidestepped out of the way, not smart to chance being smushed, These beasties were big. Just the way she liked her opponents, a real match.
Hijil took the hit bodily, biting back a cry as she bled from some nasty wounds. She looked behind her to make sure the people behind her were all right. They were.
She gave them a nod and took up a protective stance, hoping that the mages and archers and warriors behind her would be able to help take the beasts down...

The beasts shook out their massive bodies, their newly acquired wounds seeming to irritate more than hurt, as if they were itchy from the attacks on their legs and hides. They moved their heads about, their noses sniffing into the air before the first beast leaned down and with a rush of his head struck out against the small people on the ground.
The other two beasts managed to rear back and cause another round of shattered earth and plant material to launch out from the point of impact and toward the crowd in front of them.

Ray spotted Lasarra getting attacked~
Rayolun dodged back from the stomping legs and looked around quickly. His eyes widened as he spotted Lasarra (and Kelina, but she wasn't as important) far too close to the beasts who were shattering the earth and launching it.
His eyes narrowed and he dodged around the beast he'd just attack to run full tilt towards Lasarra and the creature attacking her. He thrust with his trident at the back join of the creatures knee as he ran underneath it, smiling as he drew a bit of blood. He ducked under a leg that swung towards him and dashed out from underneath towards Lasarra, hoping she wouldn't be too hurt.
Aminah's eyes widened as she saw the giant beast lean down and charge toward her. It plowed through the people in front of her and before she could even think about what was happening Aminah was hit. She flew toward the floor and landed with a hard thud that sent pain shooting through her chest. She struggled to catch her breath, her eyes watering with tears before she rolled over and headed a charge of lightning at the beast, hoping to deter it from hurting more behind her.
