Haha yeeeah between that and re-registering my car for the year I'm pretty burned out for now. The joys of responsibility. Ah yeah I remember those boss potions, I only found a few users who had them but still... I don't understand why you'd play something just to ruin it for others. I find it amusing that they gold payout for new users is now 10k, when it was 1k back when I made my first account in 2006. And yet I only know that because I got a random PM from the Welcoming Fairy even though I've been here since '08 on this account.Oh well, 10k is 10k (: Ahaha, my progress so far is 14.5k/ 16~basically 30mil xD I tend to try and save for my quest but I end up giving away all my gold. Not the best strategy for mad monetary gains but oh well. Haha, I might have to start hanging around charities more! Ooh that's cool (in a hot kind of way... yeah, I went there). Ah I remember the days of summer break, they only ended a few weeks ago but they already seem so distant. I hope you enjoy your break (: Hahaha it's worth visiting besides the healthcare! There apparently isn't much to do where I live (Perth), but I believe there's enough to occupy a tourist. I get by just fine, anyway (: Right now it's 7:07pm :3 Yeah, things are pretty tense right now, especially seeing as I keep getting knocked back by any potential interviewees for my stories. But oh well, this phase will pass I suppose. Mm, we probably don't have the best ideology towards assignments but oh well, whatever works! 16

Aah sorry again! I haven't been getting notifications for guild-made quotes for a while. I filed a report, but Gaia hasn't done anything = v =

Hm... why don't you check out the Grab Bags Charity, Chicken Dice Charity, or the Me Wants charity? All of my other favorite charities are on hiatus D;

My week's been pretty relaxing since I don't have much work to do. On Gaia, my quest items are inflating like crazy, but after I finish my quest, I'll probably open a charity (if I have any gold left e.e). How about you?

No problem! Oh well, Gaia doing nothing in this day and age is nothing new (~: Ooh, thanks for the charity suggestions! I'll have to check them out when I have the chance! That sucks about your favourite charities! Oh well, what is on hiatus must always... come off hiatus. :3 Ah I know that feel, my next break isn't until June either. D; But oh well, your summer should be enjoyable, summer usually is. (: Personally I'm looking forward to an end to the warm weather and the onset of the wind and the rain :3 Thanks for the support, I'll reach my goal one day (: Ah that's good about real life, not so much about Gaia D: Still, a break from assignments and such is always good (: Such noble sentiment, planning to start your own charity. I'm doing alright, haven't been able to get any interviews set in stone for the articles I need to write but I still have at least two weeks to get those sorted. Haha true. Most charities take a break to gather more funds, or life gets in the way.
Mhm~ Summer's my favorite season of the year. The weather's a bit hot, but it's great for swimming. I hate the mosquitoes the most though. They always come out at night, and I'll either have to cover myself up with blankets (in the hot weather...) or get stung by them. emotion_donotwant
I just looked up your quest item and it looks like it already inflated to 70 mil! It's insane and ridiculous, really.
Oh I always tend to lose gold by donating, so why not do it "officially" haha c:

Haha fair enough about summer, the best thing about it is swimming! Ahh I agree, mosquitoes are the absolute worst. Still, I suppose that's what insect repellent is for (-: Being in blankets in hot weather would be hell D: Yeah I'm getting really tired of this inflation but the admin just do not seem to care (and with some Oink! offer I got via PM it seems like they're quite happy to keep creating gold out of nothing). Haha yeah losing gold officially would basically make you, well, officially loved by the masses. How's your week been so far? (: Or I guess a more appropriate question considering the time difference would be how was your weekend and how is your week looking? :3 19

Ugh bug repellents never work for me. Some come with weird odors and require you to reapply it every 2-4 hours.. I hate getting up during the middle of the night to do so.
I know what you mean- all of the staff who really cared and interacted with the community left. Even Sisky's title has been changed to "Gaia Staff" instead of "Admin."
Everyone who aren't signed up for Oink got it too. At first the link didn't work because they forgot to put ".com" at the end of the link, so they had to resend the PM. It seems like a 10 year old is writing their announcements and such since there are so many errors.
The week has been pretty exciting for me! I went on an overnight retreat with my class (and other people from different periods) and we did activities that focused on leadership and teamwork skills. I even went zip-lining across sequoia trees and went across a ropes/obstacle course that was built around the trees. How about you?

That sucks about bug repellant not working for you D: You have fun times ahead of you in that regard then... Ehhh, I'm sure things'll get better by mid-year at earliest (being overly optimistic) and start of next year at latest. I just don't see how the current business model is sustainable. They also seem to be getting more desperate with cash sales, I mean the last 3 announcements I've gotten have been for extensions on a 5% and then 10% cash sale. I'm undecided as to whether that's a good thing or a bad thing, probably somewhere in between. Oh wow that '.com' mishap is, well, childish. You'd think when writing out a url that part would be automatic. Haha sounds like a pretty intense week for you! Must've been good to get away from the school environment too! My week was pretty good, finally got some interviews sorted for my articles and finished off my photo essay so I'm doing well as of now. Now I just have two articles to write by next Monday, which is definitely doable. 20 (Finally I can stop numbering my posts!)

Ugh I know! Gaia's also been saying that items will be leaving the cash shop, but then extend the time from 2 hours to the next day, and so on. It's pointless,really.
Mhm! The retreat was lots of fun, and the weather cooperated nicely. This Saturday I'll be go-kart racing with my friends. It's nice to have something take my mind off of schoolwork.

Oh well, the admin haven't exactly seriously acknowledged the userbase so I doubt the attitude to such sale extensions will change anytime soon. There is something amusing about seeing a 5% off sale be extended though, I mean, it's such a minuscule sale that there doesn't seem to be much point in extending it at all. Oh that's awesome about the retreat! Something like that would suck in the pouring rain... I'm not much a fan of go-kart racing myself but I hope you enjoy it! (-: I agree, sometimes it's nice to just completely forget about schoolwork, even if it's just for a short while. Haha thanks for the luck, I've had a lot of success this week getting interviews and such, even some on-location interviews that I just happened to get because I was there at the right time. So it's been a successful week so far! Pretty confident I can get my last two articles finished before Monday's deadline. How's your week been? Happy (belated?) April Fool's Day to you too! Mhm. There's something strange with how Gaia's staff thinks. They believe that by discounting the GC prices, more people will buy GC items.
I think that it'd be a better solution if they'd lower the cost of the items themselves. Earlier I saw a bundle going for $75!
I've actually never been go-kart racing! I guess that I'm in the mood to try new things haha (:
Congrats then! It's always better to finish things early rather than on time. My week's been work filled. I have to prepare for an in class essay for English that's coming soon, etc.
(Yet here I am on Gaia xD) The weekend won't be very.. "light" for me either. I'm attending two birthday parties on Saturday and Sunday, and I still have to get presents O;

Oh! Some great news~ I'll be opening a charity earlier than expected since I just quit questing after inflation got out of hand.
(I calculated my account worth on tektek.org and it's now around 2.5 4.5 BILLION! Just a couple of weeks ago it was only 400 or so million, which is still very surprising to me.)

Yeah, exactly. It makes no sense to lower GC prices themselves when one of the main concerns I've seen regarding it is the ridiculous cost of the actual items... Lowering the price of GC itself won't convert any of the current naysayers. Looking through the Site Feedback forum, I feel like this is the worst vibe I've ever felt coming from the community. It's a disgrace that the staff don't even seem to care about what's posted there. Anyway, enough negativity! How'd the go-karting... go? Ahh I remember the days of in-class English essays. I've had two articles due and an oral presentation yesterday which I totally botched. Oh well, it was just one assessment. I think I ended up handing it in with two minutes remaining or something ridiculous. Now I have two weeks break from uni which is gooood, but I still need to organise interviews for my next articles and report on a court hearing, so that should keep me busy. How's your week been? By the way, sorry for not responding for ages, as you can tell I've been majorly busy over the past week. (-: Hey, I recently quit my quest too (hence my giveaway thread)! Account worth these days is pretty damn ridiculous! There must be almost no satisfaction in having an account worth so much.
