☽============Karter============☾ Karter nodded as he came to get it, starting on hers. She had put away the things from his that Karter wouldn't be using, replacing them with other things that she could eat. A few more peppers, vegan things, etc. "Is it alright?" She asked as he started eating. She thought she might've been a bit heavy handed on the peppers, but it was too late to stop him now. She finished her own a few minutes later, putting it on a plate, noticing he was eating with his hands. Not like she had a problem with it. 'I don't feel like doing dishes... and these are paper plates anyways...' She thought, deciding to eat with her hands too as she was putting things away. She pulled a small piece off of her quesadilla and stuck it in her mouth. Pretty good, considering some of the horrible food she had made before. ☽============☼===========☾ Nerdy Oatmeal ACK! Sorry, I think I forgot to post my reply to this >.< Not going to describe how she cooks her quesadilla because I am bound to get something wrong...

He remained quiet for a while, simply enjoying his quesadilla, but then he let his mind wander. He suddenly thought of something... Perhaps it was a little too random but it was something he thought was worth asking. "Do you ever overthink things and then they lose all of their meaning? Like, for example, think about how weird it is that people have words that they respond to and that's their name. It's sorta strange if ya think about it. How people come up with it and all." He said with a little shrug. That tended the sort of thing that Percy would think about. He would overthink things to the point of having no meaning. ○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○★Where am I? ☽============Karter============☾ Karter nodded. "Good. Mine's not bad either..." She said, taking another bite. Huh? Another random question? Earlier he asked about music too... well, it was kind of interesting to see how much his mind wandered. "Hmm... well, I guess so. Names is a good example. My parents were going to name me... Hm... I don't really remember the name, Bella or something. Anyways, the name had some sort of meaning at first, but after saying it for a while it kind of.... lost touch. Now, where Karter came from, I'm curious..." She said, not really sure why she was telling him. She was honestly glad that her parents hadn't given her that name, way too girly for her. Karter probably would've changed it though.
"...Do you think about this often?" She asked, after swallowing another bit of Quesadilla. She was about a quarter way through now. Yay. "What kinds of things?" ☽============☼===========☾

Karter was Karter and, to Percy, that was that; nothing else could suit her so well. Percy then began to wonder what name he may have chosen, if not Percius. He knew that he had taken the name 'Max' into consideration but it didn't really fit him, in his mind. He took another bite of his quesadilla, now just about halfway through it. When she asked about how often he thought of that, he shrugged and swallowed before speaking. "I guess I do... I think about a lot of stuff often though." He said, letting his mind wander again. When she asked what kind of stuff, he assumed she meant what stuff he thought about. Percy laughed. "I think that's gonna take me a little more than a day to tell you about." He took another bite of his quesadilla, chewing and then swallowing. "Anything really, if you think about it too much. The simplest things in life can get really confusing if you think about them too much. Take milk, for example. Don't you think it's sort of weird that human are the only species on Earth that drink the milk of another animal? Goats drink goat milk, cows drink cow milk, and humans drink both of those plus human milk... Sorta weird, right?" He continued. Percy, in all honesty, had no idea where this was going. ☽============Karter============☾ Karter thought as Percy talked about milk. Well, it made sense... She didn't really know of any other animals that drank milk from other species. Were humans really the only ones? "Hmm... well, if you think about it, kittens will drink a cow's milk if it's given to them in a dish. Just like humans in a way, we drink cow's and goat's milk from a glass, not from the animal itself." The thought it drinking it straight from the animal made her laugh a little. "So... maybe it's not so much that they won't... but it's just what's available to them? Or maybe just preference?" She said. It was possible, she thought. It was a bit of a weird topic of conversation, but kind of interesting at the same time. ☽============☼===========☾

That's the real question here, I think. We drink cow's milk knowing that it is from a cow but do kittens know exactly what they're drinking?" He asked. The question was mainly rhetorical but she could've answered it if she wanted to. "I believe it could be either, really... Depending on the animal and the situation, you know? In a survival setting, it'd be what's there and in a domestic or safer setting, it could be preference." He remembered his quesadilla being there and finished eating it. After he was done, he hopped off where he was sitting on the counter. The plate was one of those paper plates, so he tossed it into the trashcan. Upon doing so, he noticed that invitation they'd gotten a while back sitting on the counter. "Say, you didn't want to go to that dinner party thing, did you? I'd be fine with going if you really wanted to." In all honesty, he didn't want to go. Formal parties weren't exact his forte... Percy liked party-parties. You know, the kind with up-beat music and dancing. Dinner parties were too... still for him. He couldn't act all prim and proper if he tried. He just wanted to make sure Karter wasn't hoping to go. ☽============Karter============☾ Karter thought for a moment. "Well, it's a good point, but wouldn't they at least know that it wasn't their usual milk? I mean, most milk tastes different. Cow vs goat, for example. Much different, and most people prefer cow." She said, with a shrug. She was honestly never a huge fan of milk herself... one of the things she did not miss having. "Yeah, that makes sense. Sort of like all those apocalypse movies, where they just eat what they can when they can." She said, with a shrug. She wasn't totally into apocalypse movies, although she did like horror. They were kind of fun to watch people scream during. "Huh? Oh, uh, not really. Sorry." She said. It was a formal event, which meant that either Karter would have to wear a dress or just feel awkward. Neither were things that she wanted to do. Actually, she only owned one dress and.... well, that was for sentimental reasons. But no, she was not dragging it out just for a dinner party. ☽============☼===========☾

He sat down on the couch, leaving room for Karter if she wanted to join him. When she'd said that she didn't want to go, he gave a sigh of relief. Good. He didn't either. He shook his head a little when she said 'sorry'. "Oh, no. Don't worry about it. I don't want to go either. Not really my kind of party, you know? I just wanted to make sure you weren't dying to go. Figured you wouldn't be." He said with a shrug. "I don't think I even have a tux... Let alone anything formal enough. I'm not a formal event kinda guy." ☽============Karter============☾ Karter nodded, putting her plate in the trash can. She followed Percy into the other room, sitting down next to him on the couch. She felt a bit like a dog just following him around, but they were in the middle of conversation. Can't just walk away, right? "Yeah, same here. I mean, I don't dislike parties, but I don't really like dressing up for them. And if I don't then it's just weird." She said with a sigh. Yeah, she'd gone to formal parties without dressing up before, and everybody just stared at her. And not the good kind of stare, no, this is the stare of death we're talking about. She couldn't help but laugh when he said he wasn't much of a formal event guy. "Yeah, you don't look it. Er, no offense or anything, you just look more.... casual." ☽============☼===========☾

Then again, he didn't know any better that time. When she said he didn't look like much of a formal event person, he laughed. "Yeah... B-but, I'll have you know, I can clean up real nice!" He sat up, as if trying to show pride in his ability to 'clean up', as he so delicately put it. Percy began to laugh at his own silliness. It had been a while since he'd actually put on a tux... or a dress. Yes, yes, Percy had dressed in drag before. It was one time! One time!! And, to put things simply, he wasn't thinking soberly clearly. Percy sighed, slouching in his seat and looking up at the ceiling. He sat up upon remembering those video games he found a while ago. "Oh!" He floated over towards where he'd set down the variety of games to choose from and carried them over to the couch. It was only four of them but still a variety. He sat back down next to Karter. "Which one did you wanna play? I'm fine with any of these." He said as he showed them to her. There was Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros Brawl, Just Dance 2, and Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword. "I think one of these might be a single player game... But we can probably take turns or something." ☽============Karter============☾ Karter laughed, as he sat up looking prideful. "I can imagine that." She said, imagining Percy looking... formal. He looked nice, but not really... you know, natural. She wiped the thought out of her head, getting back to what they were talking about.
Karter looked at the four games. Well, dancing wasn't really her thing, so no to that one... and the one-player game would make them take turns, which probably wouldn't be very fun. Not that she had a problem, but when there were options for multi-player why not take them? "Either of these two, whichever you want." She said, pointing to Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros Brawl. ☽============☼===========☾ Nerdy Oatmeal ...I am now imagining Percy in a dress... and he does not look terrible, XD

He took the disc out of its case and put it into the Wii. He grabbed one of the remote controls beside the console and tossed one towards Karter. "Catch!" He floated back to the couch slowly. For some reason, those people who he had met out in the rain came to mind. What were their names again? ... He knew two of them started with an "Sh" and the other started with a "D". Oh, right! Shichi, Duresa, and Shizu. He wondered what they were all doing right now... Well, never mind that. Percy had Mario Kart to play! Now sitting back down on the couch, He waited for the game to load up. Karter was first player so she would have to get the game started up. ○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○★Where am I? In my dorm★★With whom?: Karter★★★Out.Of.Constellations: lol He's a pretty lady~ xD Now I feel like I need to have him "dressed up" at some point so Karter can see him in a dress. his dress would have lots of sparkles

☽============Karter============☾ Karter caught the remote, looking to see what he chose. Mario Kart? She'd played it once before, but was never very good. Well, maybe she'd gotten better... meh, probably not, she hadn't practiced or played at all since. She started up the game, choosing multiplayer, etc.
Karter looked out the window after picking her character (Toad, because he's awesome). It was getting dark out... fast. But it was only like 6:30 or something. Particularly around the mistress' manor... ah well, didn't matter. Probably just because of where and how the sun sets or daylight savings/spending or something. Nothing to be concerned about (nyeh heh heh). ☽============☼===========☾ Nerdy Oatmeal Omg yes, this needs to happen, XD.

There must've been an extremely heavy storm brewing. Once Karter chose her character, he chose his: Luigi. He glanced over at Karter, who was also looking out the window. "Kind of weird how dark those storm clouds are..." He said, now looking out the window. "They almost look fake." Percy laughed a little at the thought. Fake clouds? A bit too strange if you'd ask him. He looked at the screen again. Oh, time to choose a race track. He nudged Karter with his elbow, as if to get her attention. "Which race track do ya wanna do?"○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○★Where am I? In my Dorm★★With whom?: Karter★★★Out.Of.Constellations: Alright, it's settled then. ☽============Karter============☾ Karter nodded, noticing that they actually were storm clouds. "Oh yeah, maybe there's a storm or something." She said, turning back around and looking at the screen. Oh yeah, had to choose a race track.... meh, whatever. She moved the cursor around and chose a random one, eventually picking Moo Moo Meadows (which is actually the only course I remember, XD). She watched as the opening sequence played, getting ready to start (and probably loose). ☽============☼===========☾ Nerdy Oatmeal Lol, he could just have it in his closet and be trying it on because he wanted to know what it looked like, and Karter just walks in. ....This is going to be hilarious.
