Noah leaned in to get a better look at the varieties on display in America's tray, still carefully avoiding looking at her tray. "Whoa, you've even got the weird flavors," he said, impressed. "Did you, like, go to Japan to get them?" He picked out two boxes of standard chocolate flavor (presents were good) and two of the strawberry cream flavor (the kind with bits of strawberry on them, as opposed to the plain pink ones, because these were better) and then surveyed the available selection thoughtfully before picking out a box of honey flavor. He then willingly handed over his fifteen dollars. "This is awesome," he told America.

Taking the money with a broad grin, she replied, "Pleasure doin' business, name's America Jones if you ever need anything." Spinning around in a flurry of balloons, she let her self out, a little extra pep in her step.

Knocking on another door, Americhu stood in a ready stance for some dynamic victory posing. Because apparently that sort of thing actually worked, and she now had a bra full of cash and a distinctly lightened tray to carry. Well, that or people just wanted snacks, but she liked to think her sales pitch was effective. "Pikachu Delivery Service!"

It took some time before Maebe actually opened her door, but when she did, she was assaulted with yellow. Granted, that was one of her favorite colors, but this was a little over the top. The door swung slow, but wide, all the way open, and she leaned against the frame to give herself a minute to take it all in. Silently she cursed herself for not having her phone on her at that very moment. Was this some girl scout thing? If so, she kind of wanted to join the girl scouts. "I'm happy to let you peek at me, miss, but I really don't think you're properly undressed for it." She really wasn't into furries. The pile of stuffed animals on her bed might have indicated otherwise.

it took America a moment to get the joke, but when she did it had her grinning broadly at the other girl. She'd have use that one later. "Well that's a terrible shame, that is, and you won't accept an IOU? Well, at least I can deliver something nearly as sweet." With a flourish, she held up several boxes of pocky, "And for only three dollars a box."

That grin was promising, and it has Maebe standing up straight and paying attention. "I love IOUs." That particular one was going in the memory vault for later. "But I like candy too." The boxes sure looked like candy, at least. Maebe didn't know what pocky was, but it had strawberries and chocolate on the covers, so what could go wrong?" Three dollars for a box of candy felt a little pricey, but America was playing to the right crowd, and Maebe was less stingy with her money if it meant she might get something extra later. So she picked up a box, and held it closer, trying to read the ingredients. "I'll take a couple." She decided, musing over the unreadable box apathetically. "If you can answer this question correctly." She handed the box back to America, and smiled. "What's your favorite flavor?" America would get an easy A in this class.

Hazel eyes flicked down, then back up, and America cocked her hip in a way that was only slightly ridiculous in her current uniform. The balloons bobbing brightly with the motion did not help. Making a low, thoughtful noise as the question, she traced her fingers over the selection, finally plucking three out three. "Strawberry, mixed berry, and lychee," she finally answered with a smile, holding up the boxes with a wink. "The pink ones tend to be the funnest."

Right answer. Maebe hadn't made the test very hard, but it was always nice to be rewarded for the minimal effort, and she would do the same for America that she would want for herself. So she turned around, and searched for her Hello Kitty wallet. A ten dollar bill was removed, and brought to America. She held it out. "You're right about that. I'll take one of each, because you were such a," She breathed in quickly through her nose, and let out a long, meaningful sigh. " Convincing salesperson." The pikachu suit was given one last, lingering glance, and she pursed her lips together tightly. "I look forward to cashing in that IOU, when you're suitably less dressed. If you're still interested, that is." America had made the sale, which meant she could drop the act at any point, if it was an act. Maebe decided she'd rather know now, than later.

The compliment had America preening, back a little straighter, and the ridiculous tail wiggling every so slightly. Pulling a neat fold on money out of her bra, she add the ten and peeled of a single, handing it back to Maebe. "The name's America Jones, we've never really been properly introduced," the corner of her lips crept up, "...but I'm always interested in fun. If I don't see you before then, consider yourself thoroughly invited to the girls' sleepover next week."

Even if America wasn't quite on the same page as Maebe when defining the word fun, she did peak the girl's interest by mentioning a sleepover. As much as she'd like to convince others of her hard interior, sometimes she was just as much of a girl on the inside as she was on the outside. So she perked, smiling genuinely at the invitation. "Maebe." Of course, it was her introduction, but it sounded like she was being blasé about the sleepover until she elaborated. "Maebe Grace Bertrand. I'll be there." She would not have bells on. Unless America asked really, really nicely.

"Omedetou!" Shouted Allan in God Knows What Language, just appearing from nowhere. He had changed out of his Pikachu costume in favour for a cooler Nine tailed fox demon Naruto one. All nine of his tails were bobbing and it was sort of disconcerting to look at as if those tails would flop over any second, especially with the way the Sun lead was posing, all Japanese superhero poses with V fingers. "It is important to remember that your friends will always be there for you! Sailor Moon says!"
And then in a smokebomb that was made of harmless pixie stix powder he was gone, box and all, leaving America to wonder about suddenly Allan.
