 Batsu Watanabe Medic/Archer HP - 204| CP - 311|Mhp - 391 D: 45 | F: 10 | R: 23 |W: 21Well great, here he was on the deck of the boat while the genin were being faced with a giant sushi roll. In the midst of all that, he could easily hear one of those genin crying out for medical attention. Batsu immediately started to run towards Shiro but in route to her he made a set of handseals in order to activate the medical jutsu. After he finished with the seals, he ran up to the girl on the floor and took a knee. As he placed his chakra-infused hands near the girl's wound, he kept his eyes on the octopus to make sure no sudden moves were being made towards the two. A short time later he shifted his focus on the wound to see how well it was doing. Though she was bleeding at firsst, it looked as though no more blood was soiling her clothes. That meant that everything was faring fine. The male waited a few more instances before he took his hands off the girl and cut off the chakra flow to his hands. Batsu then looked at the intruder then back to his fellow ninja. He then spoke. "You are now okay. The bleeding as stopped. So go out there and do some slicing." Batsu gave the girl a smile, stood up, then stuck out his hand to help her get up. Quote: Medical Technique: Minor Chakra Heal

Jinichi Iwao LV. 5 Hp: 50 / Cp: 65 / MHp: 50 Jinichi watched dispassionately as his teammates were roughly manhandled by the octopus. Like fools they charged in, instead of stepping back and judging the situation. As much as he liked seeing them handled like the fools they were, their deaths wouldn't bode well for their mission, even if it made his private mission a little easier. Grabbing one of the senbon from inside his sleeve, he came out from where he was hiding, and threw it with deadly accuracy at the Octopus.Not knowing what exactly it's weak points were, he aimed for the mass that he assumed was it's head.
Sneak Attack: Roll (12) + RAB (11) + Senbon (2) + Sneak Attack (7) = 32 Damage: 21 (Note to self/mods, may need to look over sneak attack. ^^; )

[Mizuiro and Sakurayuki are released. Ummm, I also messed up the holding breath check... you should be able to hold your breath for posts = to 2x your Constitution. For each post you spend doing something that's not moving or passive, -1 to remaining posts you can hold your breath for. Once you use all those posts up, then you have a 10 + 4 per post Con check. ^^; And failing that is very bad >.>]

Just as you ease into the water, you spot a glint heading towards your eye. Quick as lightning you whip one of your tentacles in your way to block the hit. It's tiny, but you definitely feel like you pushed something away with your tentacle that would have hurt a lot.
But just when you were ready to be the bigger creature (quite literally as well) and leave them to it, one of your prey clamps down HARD onto your tentacles. In shock and pain, you let out another roar and are forced to let everything go. You flail around with your tentacles, bringing up another one to replace the one that accursed fish tore, but you're too much in pain to really focus on anything.

(Wait, one tentacle has +42? What? Explain those dice rolls a bit more...) Mizuiro never liked the feeling of live octopus tentacles, he referred them dead, and cooked. When it finally let go, it decided to flail it's tentacles, but he was quick in the water and backed off quickly. He looked over to the girl who had been trapped as well, and she was let go also. He gestured for her to quickly get back into the boat. This was his domain, and he would be able to handle the Ocotpus. That attack he saw just before he was let go with the Senbon didn't seem to help much. But no matter, this octopus was now scared, and was probably panicking now. But he was still cautious, since this beast has more "arms" then he did, more weapons so to speak. But he had to try and take this beast out, since it seemed to be the only way. No one tried to talk to the beast, so might as well kill it, and have it for dinner. He decided to try and go in for another attack, if he didn't succeed, he would just bite yet another tentacle. He would bite that Ocotpus until it gave up. Mizuiro swam fast towards the octopus's head, and stabbed towards one of it's eyes.(1D20) 2 + 8 = 10 + 20% = 12 Kunai Damage: 1 - 4 + str. mod. in melee combat. 1 - 4 + dex. mod. in ranged combat. Range: Melee Special: Causes a Bleeding Wound upon a critical hit. Dual Wield: Yes, -4 to attack roll.
Samekansou (Shark Physiognomy) The Hoshigaki are part shark, and therefore, share many biological similarities with the animal, most notably its great physical strength. Because of their unique skin and physiognomy, Hoshigaki are naturally far superior to normal humans for underwater movement, greatly increasing their ability to move when submerged. The Hoshigaki also have gills on their cheeks and shoulder which they can use to extract the oxygen from the ambient water and increase their ability to smell blood, allowing them detect it with accuracy at far greater distances than the average person. However, their brain being also part animal, their instincts were develloped at the cost of some of their advanced cognitive skills, decreasing their overall analytical and social intelligence. Jinichi Iwao LV. 5 Hp: 50 / Cp: 65 / MHp: 50 Jinichi fell back as the octopus easily knocked his senbon away. He would try again when the opportunity presented itself, but until then, he would fall back and observe the fight. With the Octopus' attention focused on Sakurayuki and Mizuiro, he once again fell back into the shadows of the ship, waiting for his next chance to attack. He wasn't exactly happy though about the way the battle had gone, if it had been anything else, he was sure his senbon would have felled it. In the meantime though he watched his teammates, and wasn't impressed. The two Konoha-nin had done next to nothing, and Hoshigaki had proved himself a hot-head, though to his credit he seemed to have done at least some damage to the octopus. Overall Jinichi figured he could've easily hunted down any one of them.

Now that she was patched up and ready to go, it was time to go on the offense. She was a little dismayed about needing the medic in the first place since in all honest it made her feel week but that was how genin were. The octopus may have gotten the drop on her but it was now time for round two. Shiro pulled out her katana and looked for an opportunity to strike.1D20 (14) + Master B(2) + Attack Melee (5) = 21 After seeing an opening Shiro went in for it. She sprinted across the deck to reach the edge when the octopus came enough she made her strike. Hopefully it would connect with a good slice.

 Hiru opened the door, holding six perfectly prepared fishes impaled on sticks, practically begging to be cooked. Stepping onto the deck, he had a big smile on his face and practically yelled: "Okay guys! Let's cook that squid and have a fe....", he started to say, interrupting his sentence when he saw his team getting tossed around.
"You guys aren't done yet?", he asked the obviously preoccupied bunch.
Crossing his arms and looking at his team with a severe glare, he added "You guys better hurry this up because I'm getting really hungry..." "Is this guy seriously just going to stand there talking about fishes while his team's getting drowned by a giant squid??" couldn't help but wonder the merchant in shock, now a bit preoccupied with the leader's overall mental stability.

A ship in which there was a very disappointed sensei. Sakura growled slightly to herself but held her tongue that was just about to comment something along the lines of 'then go catch it yourself'. As much as she wanted to go and dice the monster up, she really didn't think it was wise to go up close anymore after that incident. However, Shiro and Mizuiro were at it again and Sakura realized she didn't have the luxury of thinking things out. Well, if the two were going to attack, she might as well take the attention of the octopus and hopefully make the octopus ignore the other two teammates. Taking out the senbon that she had procured before, she tossed it, aiming at the head, particularly what seemed to be its eyes. She'd never practiced with one before so the thin weapon felt alien in her hands, but it was truthfully a bit hard to miss the general direction of the head because of its sheer mass. "Oi you fat squid! Yeah you slimy fishy bimbo head! I bet you have a brain the size of a pea inside that head of yours, don't you?! You can't even get a hold on me for 10 seconds, and you call yourself an octopus?? I'm your opponent, you hear? Come at me you fishface!" she hollered, taunting it and trying to grab the attention so the other two could successfully execute their attacks. Who knew, maybe it really could understand her remarks.

It seems like you may have bitten off more than you can chew. They might be doing the biting, if you aren't careful. For the first time in a while you're facing a foe that doesn't die or run away after just a bit of effort. Your tentacle smarts, and you spot the fish who did it coming in for more. Well, you're not about to let him do that so easily. You make sure not to grab him, though. You've learned. It hurt plenty much the last time.
Moving around to get a better aim on the sharp toothed fish, you float back up towards the surface, just happening to get in range of the ones on the vessel. You catch a glimpse of a spine cutting through towards you. Not any more, it isn't. The glowing one is back on its feet, and charges at you. It's not the pink one, but it'll do and you pull it underwater. While one tentacle does that, you turn towards the sharp toothed one. While it's in the water with you, it's a threat. One that you have to deal with. You attack it with all your might, recruiting every available tentacle. When you're done, you spray out a cloud of ink and relocate. You don't think it and its friends above water will be happy with what you've done.
With so many things to keep track of, you don't even notice one of your aggressors melting away into the background again.

Multiply the result by 5. If 1 attack blocked, multiple by 4, and so on.
