~Shinpachi Saito, Master of the Dark Persona~

"Nng..." A muffled yawn came from the roof of the dormitory set up by the Kirijo as Saito turned over, going back to sleep as he pointedly ignored the rising sun. The door had been barred shut again, and although the door itself was still broken, Saito had made sure to put a lock in the hinge to make a suitable replacement for the time being; juuuust in case Ishimaru made a mistake of coming looking for him again. Of course, the twist was that despite the heavily fortified defenses, Saito was not in fact on the roof; no, in a well planned twist of fate, any attempts to find him by Ishimaru would only arm him with the knowledge that he was in fact being sought after, giving him time to make his mistake. That's why he'd chosen a spot on the couch in the Dorm Advisor's office instead, a room that was normally abandoned unless they were going to talk about some serious business; and that happened to have a camera system monitoring the rest of the dorm, including the roof. The door was normally locked besides, but Saito had gotten a spare key made when he could, and he was putting it to good use now...at least, until his sleeping spot was discovered again. And when that time came, he'd have to change things up once more, or be caught...but he, much like they said of a cat, had nine lives, and even if he shed a few he intended to stay one step ahead of Ishimaru the whole time. "...zzZzz..."

And setting up elaborate decoys on the roof, barring doors, and using tape recorders to make it sound like someone was snoring up there wasn't going overboard...right? Guys? Right? He wasn't being absurd or anything. Riiiight.

Lira Chronicle, the Necromancer

Lira smashed open the door to the roof as, once again, the stupid sun woke her up and forced her to deal with the day. She was actually getting quite used to that sort of thing by now, and stalked onto the roof to grab Saito and drag him out to help her when... well... evidence showed that he wasn't there after all.

Twitch, twitch.

With one quick slam of her weapon, the girl crushed the tape recorder that had been playing the sound of snoring, cutting off the irritating sound. She narrowed her eyes for a moment... then slowly stalked around the roof, just in case he really was up there, but using the recorder as a distraction. Not finding anything, though, the girl turned and began walking back towards the steps as a dark aura slowly started to emanate from her body. "Sa... iiiiiii.... toooooo..."

Haruto Mashiba, Dashing Rogue and Mysterious Fool
"...The silence echoes through me, like the voices of the ones I've lost. It's better to live with their whispers than with nothing at all..."

"Paaaanty Raaaaid~
Youth summed up in a phrase~
Paaaaanty Raaaid...yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah~
It's a beautiful daaaay~"

A voice echoed quietly down the dark halls of the Okina City Dormitory, the short hours before the newly formed team's first day of school in their new location whiling away with a song by the group's laid back Fool. His door was slightly open, allowing the sound to fill the dorm without driving too powerfully to be heard clearly through closed doors and wake the other members of the dormitory. A guitar in his hands felt weightless and easy as he strummed away an impromptu tune to accompany his lighthearted lyrics, and the faint smile on his lips spoke to the relaxed nature of the song in general. Singing was a good way to keep his mind occupied when there were other things which could have been haunting him otherwise. And the events of the last couple of days, when he hadn't been sleeping through them, had been pretty...interesting. One only had to be observant to see the various workings of the dormitory as they unfolded, the silent alliances that were being formed, and which members of the dorm seemed to like and/or couldn't stand which others within the first few days of their team's formation. Of course, in the end, they'd all have to learn to understand one another if they were going to become a real team, but that was neither here nor there right now. What was important right now was the distraction, the song. He had written this one the night before and was merely piecing together some notes to go with them at the moment. Any relation they might have to certain thefts in the dorm were purely coincidental. ...Seriously! Maybe...

"Two boys they crept into the room of a girl...
Searching for treasure that's not diamond or pearl...
They looked in the dresser...they looked in the drawers...
They looked for the silk and yes they looked for the scores...

In one hand a bra, no, they cast it aside!
These brave young adventurers...they came for the prize!
Stripe-ed or spotted...satin or lace...
They scoop up their treasure...and fled from the place...

Yes panties are magical! Panties are cute...
And if we are caught...by them...our heads they will shoot..."

...

Yeah, this was a bad song. Like, really bad. Writing silly songs was certainly one way to relax away the morning, though, and on any normal day his earnest singing of a clearly-ludicrous song might have earned a laugh or two from the peanut gallery. Given recent events, however...well, it could make things very interesting.

Mijiyou Harusuhei, and Eido Aeroda

A loud snoring could be heard from the room of the Eido. He didn't lose his key for once...and he'd stayed in his room unpacking.
Ninety nine.... he thought, the box that had evidence planted still unpacked. Point...Nine percent..done..Mmmm..
He was cuddled up to his pillow at this, and snoring, still fast asleep as the morning sun came in...Just as the door to his room closed once more, a shadowy figure sneaking out, a pair of white panties set juuuust inside htebox as well.

Deep sleepers make the best targets. Mijiyou's voice called as he slid from the room silently. He figured he'd done good enough with Lira the other day...But it was always good to stack the odds.
He crept through the hall as Lira made her way to the rooftop, the perky green haired teen hearing her aggravation, followed by Haruto's song. It took but a few moments for him to creep up to the Fool user's door, and start singing along.
"Panty Raaaaaaaiiiiiid."
Yes yes....He always was quite amusing....Always quite fun..

Lira Chronicle, the Necromancer

Lira had felt many things in her life. Joy, friendship, a little bit of love, crippling terror... but never before had she had quite so much pure, unfiltered rage filling every single part of her body. The girl slowly paced forward, walking down the steps with all the steady pacing of the most unstoppable juggernaut, her hand clenching tightly around the haft of her scythe as she walked along. A pitch-black aura covered the blade of the scythe as she walked in, facing Haruto.

A moment later, every dark aura vanished completely. Lira smiled as she put her scythe against the wall and folded her hands in front of her body, radiating a sense of pure goodness and light. "Even you're not that stupid." she said. "Still, you love panties that much, hmm?"

"...The silence echoes through me, like the voices of the ones I've lost. It's better to live with their whispers than with nothing at all..."

He hadn't been expecting accompaniment...certainly he had expected someone might hear him with his door open, of course, though he didn't imagine they'd be willing to sing along to his silly song's ludicrous hook...but he wasn't turning down a friend who could see the appeal of his hastily-written ballad to all things lacy and unmentionable. The chances were relatively good that anybody who would be up to listen to the song would just have to react to it, of course, and for some that might have been a deterrent against singing a song entitled 'Dormitory Panty Raid' where they could all hear it. However, Haruto was hardly just anybody, and even when the fiery Lira followed the amusing bro-ness of Haru-Miji into the dorm room with her trademark scythe and a glare that would have sent his spirit straight into the underworld (were it separated from his body) he didn't seem to flinch at the implied threat her appearance might have otherwise offered. Sure, she was dangerous as Hell on the battlefield, and if someone were to cross her, there was as like to meet with the business end of her curved weapon's blade as they were any sort of forgiveness. But did that mean he had to treat her like she wasn't another one of his friends...or, well, teammates for now at the very least...friends if he could help it? She broke out into a smile, even! Set the scythe aside! Something inside of him said it perhaps wasn't that easy, but who was he to judge if she wanted to indulge in a little morning panty raiding music?

The more the merrier, he'd say.

"Doesn't everybody?" the teen answered smoothly, barely missing a beat as he quietly strummed away on the strings of the guitar...letting his singing dull to little more than a rumble at the back of his throat...a hum to keep the tune should he decide to pick back up the lyrics at any point. "Isn't it a classic high school trope? The teenage guys sneaking into the bedroom of the girls they like at a summer camp or in a dorm room, checking out the goods...it's only natural, isn't it?" he reasoned with a perfect confidence in his logic, even if he, himself, hadn't actually been the one to indulge in the so-called 'teenage fantasy' in question, "And from what I understand, a pretty nasty wave of undergarment thefts has been sweeping the dorm of late. I just felt like writing a song about it for my initial Okina City High, Mashi-Ba Punk Radio Broadcast this morning...wanna sneak preview? Haru-Miji seems to like it..."

Lira Chronicle, the Necromancer

Ding!

"Ohohoho! I see, I see." the girl said, smiling and nodding. "And how, exactly, would you know that something like that was happening at all, much less multiple times? Haruto-kun, I'd reaaaaaaally like for you to tell me everything you know about this. Some innocent girls have been extremely hurt by these thefts, and I'd hate to think you were actually condoning that just for entertainment or something. You, too, Mijiyou-kun, if you're liking this song so much." she turned to the monkey-boy, still smiling very widely. On the other hand, it seemed she was also trembling, and if the past was any indication, she was just barely holding onto her self-control. Emotional, brash, and not very good at controlling herself once she was upset... that was Lira all over. This was much worse than usual, though. This wasn't just some irritating snoring, or somebody shouting... some filthy, degenerate pervert had actually intruded into her sanctuary, the only one she'd had after her friends had been butchered right in front of her, and humiliated her by stealing something they should never even have seen, much less touched...

Yeah, her facade was quickly crumbling. She simply didn't have the emotional barriers to handle this kind of thing right now.

Mijiyou Harusuhei

"Hmm Hmm? Meeeee~?" the boy called as their Necromancer-persona user turned to him with an accusatory grin, Mijiyou's smile quickly faded, showing a bit more of a weathered, worn expression as she looked.
"I don't know who's going around." he called somberly, his gaze shifting to the left as he glanced outward, as if losing himself. "Ever since we lost Biri-biri..."
The jokers face didn't show any outward expression of playfulness at this, only pain at the lost friend. He leaned against the wall, without his usual bouncy grace, or perky bounce. No...He just...leaned at this.
"I don't really think on that kind of thing much, since..." he called darkly, clearly having had this situation take a turn for the worse on his own condition. "I was just enjoying some of the Mashi-Ba music." he called, lifelessly. It'd be clear to anyone here that Lira wasn't the only one who'd lost people to the horrible accident...And was most definitely not the only one affected. Mijiyou slumped down, almost as if going to shut the world out, and sink into depression once again.
"I never even got to tell her....." he muttered soullessly, his gaze sliding down to the floor. The extravagant headphones around his neck hung heavily...heavier than anything else on his person.... The memories..painful..

~Shinpachi Saito, Master of the Dark Persona~

It was around this time that Mijiyou's phone began to ring, interrupting the mood whiplash going around Haruto's room. The caller ID was unlisted, someone who hadn't exchanged addressed with Harusuhei before...though that it was in fact Saito, using a cheap pay-for-minutes phone, would have been all but impossible for them to guess even if it had displayed the numbers. The need to answer would be nigh impulsive...unquenchable...unsatisfiable...more an inevitability than an option. Well, Saito hoped so at least.

Mijiyou Harusuhei

Mijiyou paused at this, his phone beeping. He slowly, and almost lifelessly picked up the phone.
"Who could.." he called, before flipping it open, and holding it to his ear. "Hello?"

~Shinpachi Saito, Master of the Dark Persona~

"Miji, it's Saito. If you want to survive, you're going to have to do exactly what I say." Saito slowly began to give Harusuhei instructions, a private conversation between the two that showed Saito either already knew that all of this would happen, or that he at least had some idea that Mijiyou, Haruto, and Lira were together in the room arguing over...a panty raid...at the moment. But that didn't mean that Saito would leave the men to their brutal fate; no, they were comrades in arms, and if Miji followed Saito's instructions then they all might just get out of it unharmed. "Miji, I'm going to need you to repeat exactly what I say, alright?" Simple instructions. " I don't know who you are..."

Mijiyou Harusuhei

Mijiyou seemed to pause as the voice called, recognizing it in a flash. It was his old Leader.....the master of the Dark persona.
Though, he couldn't let that slip. His expression turned Deathly serious at this, as he stood up, his lost glance shifting to that of a practiced, angry glare.
"I don't know what you want....." he called, already speaking the first part. "If you're looking for a Ransom, I can tell you, I don't have any money. But what I do have is a very particular set of skills."
He paused, turning towards Lira, so she could tell that he was serious. "Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let the panties go now, that will be the end of it. I will not look for you, and I will not pursue you. But if you don't, then I will find you, and Lira will kill you."
He paused for the lightest of moments, the gears continuing to turn in his head. Before Lira could even go about trying to snatch the phone from him, Mijiyou feinted one direction, and moved back, as if he was going for his Sneaky-Hit....and went to close his phone.
"I know who it is.."

Haruto Mashiba, Dashing Rogue and Mysterious Fool
"...The silence echoes through me, like the voices of the ones I've lost. It's better to live with their whispers than with nothing at all..."

It didn't take a genius to read the room when Lira started shaking in her repressed anger, and at that, Haruto supposed that his laid-back approach to dealing with the affronted, panty-less party would have to be put to the wayside in order to confront this very credible threat with the severity it deserved. Before he could offer any sort of a real explanation to the girl or even relate where he had heard the interesting stories of the nighttime panty raids that had begun to plague the Okina Dorm of late, however, Haru-Miji was already in the midst of executing a perfect Chewbacca Defense to deflect any intense anger that might be directed his way. Who could hit someone who seemed to be so deep into their own emotional pain? Sure, it was an absolutely sneaky move to play a card like that, with such gravity for all of them, simply to deflect the rage invited by ganking a lady's skivvies, but if you had the nerve to pull off a move like that and follow through with it like he was? At the very least someone who could appreciate a good trick, like himself, had to tip his prankster's hat to the green-haired joker. In the back of his mind, he always knew there was a reason he liked Haru-Miji...the two of them had very compatible personalities in this regard. Haruto wouldn't have played that card, sure, but he could appreciate one who did.

His lips curled into a faint smirk of amusement and disbelief at the unorthodox response to Lira's inquiry, but he hid that as quickly as it had dared to creep upon his visage, knowing the red-haired necro-girl would love to try carving up a twenty-pound side of Haruto should he play this event for anything less than absolutely grave. What he needed was a game plan, and no sooner had one come to mind than he rolled a kink out of his shoulder and spoke up to break the heavy silence.

"I wouldn't say we were condoning th-" and with a sing of the phone, his need to speak was stolen away. Judging by the twinkle in the eye of the green-haired trickster, something like a plan was brewing now between he and whoever was on the phone. Or perhaps it was just him...either way, he kept his lips almost comically sealed shut as they spoke over the phone and Haru-Miji began to repeat...something that had him holding back his laughter in an instant. Did they really just...?! The teen took one glance at Lira, wondering if there was any possibility she was buying this, but seemed to understand when at last Haru-Miji hung up the phone and announced, rather definitively, he knew who the culprit actually was. "And it sounds like you've found your panty thief," he echoed the definitive confidence of Haru-Miji with a nod and a smile, looking positively relieved that such a menace might finally be brought to justice...all the while thinking to himself, 'And this is where some poor sap finds himself on the wrong end of Haru-Miji's trap. ...I missed this sort of thing...'

Lira Chronicle, the Necromancer

"Get to the point, monkey boy." Lira hefted up her large weapon, the weight a familiar comfort in her hands. Yes... a thousand deaths or so ought to suffice, or at least getting close enough that she could simply pull them back from the brink and proceed to pummel them once again. Over and over, until they engraved the lesson onto their very souls and never so much as thought about panties without feeling the grasp of the Reaper. That still wouldn't be enough to satisfy her, but she couldn't waste all of her life giving someone the punishment they deserved.

Despite that, however, her vision slowly began to blur as liquid filled her eyes. After all, those particular articles of clothing were more important to her than it was likely anyone there realized. She just... couldn't stand losing any more than she already had, and if these feelings were going to get any stronger, then she'd have to let them out somehow.

Mijiyou Harusuhei

Mijiyou turned at Lira's hurried him up, the orders from Saito giving him just the opening he needed. He gestured towards the door of their newest member, and the victim of his very plot from the previous day.
"The voice was close...." he called, gesturing with a serious glance in his eye. "And it sounded like it was coming...From inside the building."
He paused just enough for dramatic effect, before turning back.
"After all, if it was one of the members of the group, wouldn't it be most likely to be one of the ones that didn't know the rules here? Someone who didn't know just what forces he had messed with.."
He may have sounded like he was ranting at this, but as the door stood ominously, with the promises of answers behind it, would Lira really be able to turn away from them at this?
"Oowada got Destroyed by Noelle, Saito's nowhere to be found....And Takeda is off getting 'Treasure'." Miji called, as if putting together pieces of a puzzle that never really existed. "But Aeroda's been holed up in his room all night. 'unpacking', or so he says."
His eyes seemed to flicker at this, as if hitting the turning point of their investigation. "And since he's let nobody in his room..That could only mean...One...Thing."
