Lt. Teallite was patrolling on her own this evening, so when she felt a sudden immense energy signature very similar to the shade versions of herself and Ilmenite they had encountered the other day, she seriously considered just... well... not ignoring it, but definitely looking for someone else to accompany her. One time of being strangled nearly to death was more then enough, thank you very much. But even as she thought this, the energy signature continued to grow and grow.
Who knew how big it would be by the time she found Ilemnite or really anyone else whom she knew. She even wished her unlikely hero Luxor would show up, not that he would recognize or even tolerate her presence powered up.
She gripped the arm of her "weapon" and meaningfully took off in the direction of the power signature, grateful to see, and not at all surprised but the fact that she was not the only or first one to show up. As she neared the lake she saw a huge wave lash out and sweep away several people, drenching some, hardly effecting others. She herself was far enough away the water didn't reach her, but she was close enough that one of the shades spotted her and made a grab for the young Lieutenant.
She furrowed her brows and simply whacked it upside the head, the bear giving a laughable squeak. It didn't so much as hurt the shade as startle it and make it blink at her in confusion, like did you really just do that?

Athene had been looking for something else to throw at the towering black-haired shade, when he was approached by a blue-haired Neptune Knight, recognising the other for all that this was the first they were seeing each other in a while.
"Nysa," he smiled slightly at the taller Knight as he agreed "It has been a while, it's good to see you though, although I wish..."
His voice tailed off as one of the shades approached in their direction and Nysa moved to encounter it. It was followed by a second shade and as it got close to them Athene moved himself, swinging out at it, managing to push it back a little.
"As I was about to say, I wish that the circumstances were better" he said quietly, striking out at the shade again as it closed with him for a second time. "And I'm doing okay myself, how's it been for you?"
The queen surveyed the senshi being knocked off their feet, tumbling to the ground as her wave crashed over them. She smirked, eyes slightly squinted in amusement. How easily they would fall. She would destroy them and shade would replace them and the world wouldn't know what hit them.
She produced a muffled laugh, watching as her shade engaged the senshi and she was for the most part forgotten. Not a big deal in her opinion, that was after all what an army of loyal minions was for. They did the grunt work while she reaped the majority of the reward.
A rock came sailing in her direction, but it didn't make it anywhere near to her. "Pathetic," she scoffed at the attempt to wound her glaring out at the ensuing battle.
It was followed quickly by another rock which hit her hard in the arm, causing her to spin around ready destroy her assaulter only to be hit with what appeared to be music notes and feeling her body slow down.
Her blood was boiling even through the calming sensation that followed the attack. "Pest, vermin," she spat raising her arms slowly up toward the sky, toward the eclipsed moon stopping for a few moment before he hand took on a red sheen, something starkly contrasting to her monochromatic look.
"I bided my time, watching you fools floundering with my fairies, but no more. You will succumb to me. This world is mine. I have no need for your kind."
Her hand came down slowly during her small angered speech spat through clenched teeth, stopping at her waste before firing a beam of heat into the crowd.
"Destroy them, use their meager attacks against them. They are no match!"
Finsternis Attack
Heat Ray: Power from the sun. Multi-target beam of heat and light!
Every must roll a 10 sided die to determine if you character has been hit. If you roll an even the heat ray has missed, but if you roll an odd you have been hit. Subtract Finsternis roll from your HP.
*The next round will begin by noon and will be posted every 3-4 hours from this point on! *Please bold all attacks on the queen and the shades.
Maia frowned at the crazy woman who was spouting of at the mouth and insulting them. She could tell her attack seemed to have an effect on the queen, but not much of one. She moved slower, but it didn't matter because it didn't stop her from sending a bright ray of heat at them.
Maia hadn't been exception a laser beam. It was like something out of XMen, not that she wanted to think off anyone as a mutant. She barely dodged the blast, jumping to the side and landing hard on the ground. Her skin ccoling in the night air from the heat of the passing beam, that had warmed her.
Realgar: Really? REALLY? Realgar flinched as a flash of heat and light passed him over, seriously about fed up with getting hit by the leader of the shades. He didn't have a ranged attack to hit her through the crowd, but others did...If they just had a little more organization this would be a hell of a lot easier.
...Right. Like that was going to happen.
"This is ridiculous!" He snarled, attempting to force his way through the throng to get closer to the Queen so that he could try and throw a few punches her way." ((Will roll in a separate post))

Hara Berezaiti had better luck dodging the flash of heat and light, side stepping as it passed so close by she gasped. Others weren't as lucky, and she found it a close thing herself, but it wasn't a good time to let herself get caught up in their troubles unless someone fell and didn't get up. Stopping the Shades, or trying to stop the queen herself was a better use of her efforts for now.
Another scary speech and another, very different and very frightening attack. How many did she have!? Light and heat streamed though the battle field, barely fizzling to the right of Polaris. It was too quick to even try to escape from, so she had just been lucky to have been in the right place at the right time.
Suddenly her eyes turned to Maia, had she been hit!! "Are you alright!?"

The smirk on Juno's face was quickly stripped as a beam of hot light creamed her right in the back. Lurching forward both from the force and pain, the Amazonian hissed with anger.
Had it been the lady at the center that had done it? Juno's eyes narrowed, trying to size up who she assumed had done the attack, even as she tried, unsuccessfully to reach back and rub the searing wound on the exposed section of her back.

Oh hell no!!
While Bimini was a fan of light shows and harmless lasers, it was pretty obvious that this were not harmless. People that were getting hit cried out, clothing touched was looking singed and darkened. From his place far back he had brief seconds to side step and make sure it didn't hit him, though some of his ribbons did singe.
Noooope. He wasn't get any closer then this, not if he didn't have to.
They needed to stop this as quickly as they could. It was the only way to keep people from getting hurt or even, heaven forbid, killed. The sooner that witch was gone the better for everyone. Who did she even think she was? Coming to their home and trying to take it over for herself?
Giving her wings a few quick and focused flaps, Princess Polaris managed to lift herself a couple of feet from the ground, bringing herself, for a few short seconds above most of the people and monsters around her. Hopefully it'd allow her voice to carry further and not get drowned out by the sounds of battle. It might even draw the attention of the Shadowed Queen to her.
"Please watch out for flying metal, this attack has very little control." It was the best warning she could give in her brief seconds before gravity once again tried to pull her downward to the earth. "Magnetic field!"
((Magnetic field - Any small metallic objects in the vicinity of the battle will find themselves targeting and flying towards the intended target (The Shade Queen). Unfortunately if someone or something gets in the way of the metal they too will get hit. The metal comes from all directions so if you'd like to get hit or almost get hit feel free. If you'd like to avoid it completely that'd totally cool too. :3
Objects in this attack generally include anything from nuts/bolts/screw up to smaller trash cans (aka, not dumpsters). Anything metallic in between those sizes is far game))
Juno was far away from her target, but she was also pretty quick. Years of playing sports and goofing off had left an athletic body, and senshi boosts didn't hurt either.
Juno bolted through the crowd, trying to weave between people to get herself closer to the Queen, motivated by her desire to return the pain. Though she may have let her elbow hit one of those monsters as she bust her way through.
Unfortunately, between the crowd and the pain in her back that pulsed as she ran, she didn't make it, having to stop for the moment. She was closer though, maybe after she caught her breath.
Hiding in the back was a pretty good strategy against the shadowed lady tossing out the crazy attacks near the lake. However she wasn't the only one here. Her minions were running around causing havoc too and Bimini didn't even notice until one of those monsters latched onto him.
Struggling he focused on trying to keep from spilling all his waters as the monster tried to crush him, fingers digging hard into his side. Squirming and growling Bimini finally managed to touch his ring, unleashing his Aspect. The starlight sheen that enveloped him was very pretty, but the sudden feeling, along the lines being chemically burned, was enough to make the shade combatant let go, at least for the moment.
Maia rose and dusted her self off, "I'm fine. Almost got burned I think though, or something," she called out to Polaris, before watching the girl fly up a bit and call out an attack.
Maia frowned slightly as her earring fluttered, the buttons on her shoes pulled, and even her tiara had a slight tug. "What the," she called out forgetting that she had metal on her fuku.
She just tried to ignore it and called out her own attack, her basic, "Sweet Melody." She sang out the sweet notes watching them fill the air and charging the toward the queen!
Shang turned at the voice of Acrucis happy the girl had made it save and sound. It had been tonight just about meeting Maia quickly and a possibly a short patrol where they avoid chaos because Shang was too overprotective of his young patient.
"Good, to see you. There a problem though. Something's happening toward the center of the park and Maia ran off to help out," he said frowning deeply.
"We should probably get you out of here," he said more to himself than to Acrucis, but he was distracted as more and more powered signature ran by. He knew he need to help, but he was very worried about Acrucis, it was currently a lose lose situation.
Shang frowned as yet another signature ran by, he was at a lost, but everything in him was telling him he needed to help and Acrucis might be very useful in a situation like this. He grabbed her hand, "stay close. Don't wonder off. I need to help them. Let's go!"
He took off on a run toward all the gathering energy only to be accosted by a heat beam dancing over his skin, which he tried to shield Acrucis from.
One second she was alone, attempting to ignore whatever action was taking place around her so that she could focus instead on what needed to be done (the fewer distractions, the better), and the next Ganymede found her clone being elbowed forward by a girl with dark hair and the aura of a page. Ganymede dodged her clone as it stumbled toward her and watched as it took a brief tumble to the ground.
Then she turned to the girl with an expression of mingled thankfulness and curiosity. For a moment she was confused as to why this girl had approached (of course, it could very well simply be a case of an eager page helping a Senshi in need; such things were not unheard of), but the girl's question soon processed and the name attached to it easily explained the sudden arrival.
“I... yeah, I suppose,” she said, tossing a quick glance around to try and spot Valhalla.
They hadn't been patrolling together that evening, but Ganymede thought it'd been pretty foolish of her not to think that Val would come when there was obviously trouble brewing. It was reassuring to have him there, and she was relieved to think he'd at least had some company in all this madness. She didn't like the thought of him wading through it on his own.
“Ganymede,” she gave a brief introduction. A quick “Thank you” was all she had time for after that, as her clone had recovered and grabbed onto the long trailing fabric of her train just as the leader shade unleashed another attack.
It was hot and painful. This time the impact knocked her off her feet, and Ganymede found herself joining her clone on the ground. She hissed in pain and winced as she fought off the hands that grabbed for her, shoving violently until she was able to extricate herself and stumble back up.

They were talking about...bikes...on the battlefield? Zircon glanced with slight incredulity from Realgar to Iris, though her expression blanched once again when the senshi acknowledged her. "Oh...y'know...fighting monsters, trying to stay alive. Typical night," she responded, trying to keep her tone as casual as the other two were. She was visibly much more tense, however, and turned her head back to the fight ensuing.
It was then that she caught a glimpse of Penthesilea, fighting in the distance, her eyes widening in recognition. She didn't want anything to do with the violent senshi if she could avoid it, and made it a point to be opposite the redhead's line of sight.
Of course, this careful maneuvering left her blissfully ignorant to the change in dynamics at the lake itself, and so a beam of searing light struck her from behind, causing her to hiss in pain and stumble backwards. It turned out the Shade Queen could deal some damage after all.

Varuna kept her distance while she could, still shaking off the strange spectral wave that had fallen upon them, causing her breath to catch in her chest and made her feel a bit weaker than before. Was this really the woman’s objective — killing them all? Why now? Why Earth? Was it because of the power they had uncovered by becoming senshi and knights and even corrupted by chaos?
She remained behind the trees, but an approaching shade was soon to catch her attention. It had long hair, braided by her neck while the rest hung free. The grin on its face, so like her own, was hardly friendly. Just by its stance Varuna could tell there was some kind of bloodlust in the air and that it would stop at nothing to see the one it was mimicking gone.
Without a moment’s hesitation, she jumped back, just as her copy called out “Snow slip!” and a large pile of snow suddenly formed on the ground beneath where she’d been standing. Unable to see where she was going, she ended up crashing into another shadow as it lunged for a young woman — a negaverse Lieutenant?
Varuna groaned and rolled off the doubly stunned shade, and tried grabbing onto the young woman’s arm to pull her out of the way before her own shade used another snowy attack.

Valhalla nodded to his fellow knight as he continued to look around for the senshi in question. “Sorry!” he sputtered in exasperation, growing a little desperate as it seemed as though the woman at the center of the lake was gearing up for another attack. There were many ways he could describe Ganymede, but in the midst of all the chaos, he figured it would be best to go by basic details… like color.
He almost missed Themiscrya saying she’d found her, distracted by a shade that had tried attacking another. The magic from his compass was all he needed to send the shade falling to the ground, those around it time to flee. He still didn’t like the idea of hurting anyone, even these shadow things… but he knew what they were capable of, and that they would use any means necessary to kill.
There wasn’t enough time to turn around and try to find where Themiscrya had gone before another attack swept over the park, and he winced and stumbled back as the heat wave washed over him. With attacks like these, Valhalla was wondering just how much power they really had, and if it was possible to even defeat these creatures and their leader.
Pushing himself back up, he finally caught sight of both Ganymede and Themiscrya, as well as the clone who had the ability to use Ganymede’s attacks. Hopefully she would be able to keep it at bay long enough to stop any urges it might have.

Oberon frowned when he was completely and utterly ignored by the woman in the middle of the lake. “Rude,” he called out at her, cupping his hands over his mouth. Here he was, asking her important information and all she did was make screeching noises and try to kill everyone. That wasn’t any way they were going to come to any diplomatic agreements.
The chibi didn’t even realize there was a copy of himself coming towards him until he saw it be tripped out of the corner of his eye. “Woah, hey!” he yelped, jumping back a bit in surprise. “That’s me!” he sputtered, staring at the clone before making a face. “I’m not that short!”
But there wasn’t any time to take measurements as another senshi caught his attention and… “What’s *********> doing here?? This isn’t a good place for cats!” he frowned, looking up at the cat in question. He’d seen her at the eclipse viewing, and before that had been introduced to her much earlier that year, in the spring, but why she would be there he had no id-- but that wasn’t true. There were reasons a cat would be there, but…
An attack had him reeling back, and Oberon yelped at the sudden pain of the heat wave that had descended on them. Well that wasn’t very nice… The chibi glanced towards the lake to see just what was going on, but from this distance, it was anyone’s guess.

”Metis,” he greeted, watching as she tripped the Shade, sending it to the ground. “Before you start attacking people you shouldn’t… The kid isn’t a Nega, and he’s not some monster from the deep. He’s just a smaller version of a senshi. Okay?” he said with deadpan sarcasm, wondering if she would think he seriously thought she didn’t know the difference between a chibi and a Nega. “I know you can’t see very well, but…”
Hey, after their first encounter, he was allowed to give her a hard time. She’d attacked him without knowing what he was, after all.
But as for his own shade… “No, it’s been killed already,” he told her with a glance towards the small shade as it pushed itself back up. “Don’t be fooled. It’s capable of killing just as easily as the older ones,” he said, readying his storm glass when the heat wave hit, although he managed to somehow avoid it, his brother didn’t.
“Will you stay close??” he hissed at the chibi, not wanting to have to be the one to explain to their mother why Peter had gotten hurt.
