Zero the Crimson That's true. That's a good question...though, knowing Kubo he'll either find a way to compromise with it all or his personality will suddenly seem as though he's drastically matured over night. He already is pretty mature for his age. But I don't think he has the mentality of other shinigami who has been around for centuries.

Maybe he'll have to give away bits of his spiritual powers to his friends in order to stay in the human world without causing harm.

Siphoning spiritual power . . . . hmm, that's a possibility. But reaching as high as a god like level, would Ichigo be willing to give it up?

Well, Ichigo's done that before during the whole Aizen arc, where he used up all his shinigami powers to use the one skill (can't remember what it was called), so it's a possibility, but I think it'd also be to similar to that too so it might not be too.

The final getsuga tensho. It was really more of a last gambit seeing that it was either that or everyone dies. But after that happened and some time had passed, Ichigo did express his sadness with all the power he had to give up and being weak in comparison to his friends. This is why I questioned if Ichigo would be willing to give up his power once more to stay in human world.

That's true, but if the author uses the whole "for the sake of good" type of thing in the heroes, it might happen.

But if it were for the sake of good then he would stay as a shinigami and forever remain as soul societies protector. However I do think he should be allowed his chance of living a life of a normal human before officially joining the ranks of other souls.

Well, Ichigo's never really been about being stronger than anyone else, he just wants to be strong enough to protect those around him. So as long as he retains some of his power, I don't think he'd have a problem with dividing the rest of it among his companions. (I keep picturing a power ranger esque scene with Ichigo, Keigo, Mizuiro, Tatsuki, Yuzu, and Karin. but with them all being substitute soul reapers...not the whole Karakurizer deal.)

I can see where you're going with this, but he's not the only shinigami left in soul society, so even if he does give up his powers there would still be others who could protect the world

For half a second there I thought you were talking about the Karakurizer lol. But in a sense, that's kind of what that Basch guy is doing with his Quincy.

So I'm a bit skeptical if they'll be fine without him.

I guess that's true, but mostly because this story's focused on the part of pretty much his entire life where enemies start to get really oped and Ichigo gets even more op, but if u were to think about their daily routine, then they would maybe be fine.

We all know that Ichigo doesn't have the personality to play along there. In a sense, but at the same time there are a number of differences.

Very true that they can handle themselves in relation to daily routine. Though I wonder how they would fare when the next big threat comes along. However that's why the always have Kenpachi and his squad 11 around.
