Salem watched as his uppercut connected, cartwheeling Jarel over the ropes and up against the ringside barricade. The fans were on fire, and standing right next to the ropes, the M.W. Deuce was primed to dazzle them with some high-flying feats! But the rookie's ribs were too sore, and his spine was still numb from -
...Nope, it seemed Salem didn't care about the condition he was in, showing no hesitation as he proceeded to grasp the top cable and bounce overtop it! Flipping forward, the Heir-Apparent of Hardcore tried to show off his credentials by landing on Jarel's collarbone to convert his flight into a Frankensteiner onto the padded concrete!

Jarel's night is about to take a turn for the worst, as Salem lands on his shoulders and he's too dazed to do much about it. By the time Jarel gets his bearings, he's flat on his back on the cold hard ground and the crowd is on its feet cheering. that was an impressive feat, and Jarel would certainly be feeling it later

'Oh my god!' someone at ringside could be heard exclaiming as Jarel's head was driven into the padded concrete like a railroad spike by the freshman's foolhardy Frankensteiner. The stadium was livid with excitement and anticipation after that surprising somersault, Salem showing he wasn't afraid to go head over heels to get the job done. "One!" the referee shouted, starting to count as this was still a normal rules match. It didn't matter, both men were on the ground and probably too tired or in the zone to be worrying about silly things like count-outs. Still, there's no rest for the wicked, and Salem wouldn't be getting anywhere from the flat of his back. Near the apron, the rookie crawled to the curtain and started trying to get back up to his feet to regain control of the match!

why the hell the ref is counting in an all extreme rules fed is beyond Jarel but frankly he's not worried about it. What he is worried about is getting the hell off the ground. He begins to stir slowly, pushing himself up onto an elbow first, then reaching up to grab the barricade to begin pulling himself back to a vertical base

Salem was staggering back to his feet, using the ring apron for leverage as he fought through the fatigue and pain that gripped his body. Clutching his ribs as he watched Jarel beginning to sit up, the Freshman Phenom shouted furiously at the legend, "Stay DOWN!" before forcing himself off the ring's edge to attempt a buzzsaw kick to the cranium of the hardcore colossus!

Jarel finally reaches his feet, vaguely hearing Salem's yell just before he reaches his vertical base. As he does, he finds a kick aimed at his skull, and the Dragon instinctively ducks. as he does, he attempts to repay Salem's favor of forcing him to meet the ground by going for a release Dragon suplex onto the barricade

Salem's kick had been swiftly sent, but The Dragon ducked at just the right moment to catch the rookie from behind for a sensational suplex over and onto the barricade behind him! Fans quickly moved out of the way as chairs were strewn about following Salem's spill into the ringside stands, but that didn't stop the crowd from cheering at the performance both men were willing to put on for the BBW faithful. As the "Most Wanted Man in Wrestling" lay mangled in the heap of steel, the arena shook with chants of "This is awesome!"

Jarel sits up after, his mind already going over what has to be done. Salem is in the crowd, the fans are in a frenzy as he actually did something he's not done to another person before, and still he has to get the man in the ring to pin him. He slowly gets to his feet and walks out into the crowd to pull Salem up by the hair. From here, he would attempt to hoist the younger man onto his shoulder and carry him back to the ring, then roll him inside

Amongst the bent chairs lie Salem's broken body, having succumbed to the pain of being thrown around the arena like a shot-put. Limbs limp, he was mostly dead weight as Damone dragged him up onto his shoulders, carrying him back to the canvas so The Dragon could roll the rookie back into the ring. Barely lucid, the Charismatic Calamity tumbled shoulder over shoulder onto the mat, writhing slowly as the pain wakened his senses.

The audience was hyped up as Jarel went for a cover, hoping to bring a close to this hard-fought match. The entire arena was either on their feet or the edge of their seat, anxious to see what would happen as the referee stopped down for the count.
"One...TWO...Th-!" NO! The crowd burst into cheers as Salem weakly bucked a shoulder up to snap the count and once again delay the inevitable. Still, the rookie barely moved after the near-fall, coated in a layer of cold sweat from the fatigue that'd taken its toll on him trying to put The Dragon down.

Jarel straightens up after the kickout. The rookie was certainly making his job difficult. But Jarel would not be denied. He stands up and makes his cutthroat gesture, briniging a chorus of cheers from the crowd. Reaching down, he goes to pull Salem to his feet and attempt one of his newest finishers,the Dragon Buster (Double chickenwing sitout facebuster)

The crowd popped as The Dragon condemned Croft to death with an ominous drag of a finger against his throat, threatening to put the rookie to rest with a deadly finishing move! Hoisting him up into the air with the double chicken-wing, it seemed nothing could save Salem from the frightening facebuster that awaited him! But as the M.W. Deuce went from staring up at the lights to down at the canvas, his feet would plant to the mat during his descent...the brave brawler, bucking back up to try flipping Jarel head over heels with a Northern Lights Suplex!

in yet another feat that takes Jarel far off his game, Salem stops his descent and counters, lifting the 328 pound dragon up and planting him with a northern lights suplex as flashbulbs go off once again to capture the moment. The end result is the Dragon being down on his back yet again in another daze as pain shoots up his spine

Salem had managed to flip Jarel over his own back, but despite the momentary shift in momentum the rookie couldn't capitalize - the Charismatic Calamity coughing up on his knees as he tried to collect himself. He'd managed to stun the crowd once more with his opportunistic reversal, but the toll had been heavy, both physically and metaphorically.
No matter how much the fans chanted for more, Salem barely had the strength left to execute that daring maneuver, let alone stand back up. He'd expected Jarel to be a challenge, but nothing could have prepared the rookie for what the veteran would bring to the table, or how far he'd have to push himself if he were to win, tonight. Standing up straight at last, Croft contemplated his next move - potentially his final move - while running his hands through his hair...slowly getting back up onto his shaky feet.
