Naomi Pierce
Naomi entered the class with Miranda and took a seat in her usual spot by the window. They were still a little early and the teacher wouldn't be arriving for another few minutes. She turned her head to look out the window. There wasn't much to look at, just the rain, but she managed to tune out of the chaotic mixture of conversations between the rest of the students. After another ten minutes or so, Naomi felt a tap on her shoulder. It made her jump, but only because she wasn't expecting it. She turned and saw it had been Miranda. The other girl pointed towards the front of the class, Naomi's eyes followed and met with the teacher who was staring at her. "Glad to have you back with us Miss Pierce. I trust you'll pay more attention from here on?" He didn't seem too annoyed, but that was probably because class had only just started. She replied with a simple nod and a quick apology. From then on the school day seem to go by so fast. Before she knew it, the bell signalling the end of school rang out. Naomi sat at her desk stuffing her text books back into her bag. "I have music practise now, but that shouldn't be longer then an hour at the most. If you want I could come around after if you wanted to study again? Or just hang out?" Naomi really did want to hang out with Miranda, but the other reason she was asking is because there wouldn't be anyone else at her house for a few hours, and she hated being home alone.
