Yusaki was distracted from the balloon by the captain's sudden decision to point out a particularly wispy bit of cloud. Something about some sort of bird liking them... She paid attention politely, though the words were going in one ear and out the other.

All Cara could do was sit and wait for them to reach their destination. Sure she could talk with the others aboard the balloon but she wasn't really up for it right now, and it appeared none of them were feeling very talkative either. It seemed they all had quite a few things on their minds, whether it was the hole in the envelope that kept growing, how they were getting down safely, focusing on what the 'captain' said, or just thinking about the journey, everyone appeared off in their own world. NaomiNaomi You needs to roll hon so we can see if we stay aloft

OoC: Ah, crud. Sorry, guys. I didn't mean to leave you waiting. I got so caught up in my game, aha. Thanks for the heads up, Snow.
Ever since the captain gave his warning, Magnolia could only curl herself up in a corner and wait in anticipation for whatever deadly ending was to come. However, her expectations were dashed with their others spotting bird Pokemon or just the old fella spouting trivia on the geography below.
Her slowly growing hopes were dashed when an uncanny sound of ripping caught her attention. The fourteen year old's eyes rolled up to the small scar in the canvas of the lofty vessel and withheld a desire to scream. They were going down! Albeit, slowly, but still! At this, Rho suddenly clamored up onto his owner's shoulders and anchored his claws into her cardigan.
If this thing goes down, he thought to himself, I'll use this girl as a cushion!

Katori was not pleased with the balloon, it's earlier promised safety was now a distinct possiblity it could be their downfall ... perhaps they should have stayed on the airship, below decks where the pidgey couldn't have attacked them... He'd seen an ominous Murkrow AND an odd Pidgey already, and more ripping sounds would not be fun at all.

Michelle perked up when she say something new fly by. The black bird turned to look back for a heart beat before it was gone on the wind. Was that a Murkrow? That wasn't necessarily a good sign for this trip.

Yusaki felt tingles running through her foot, and she shifted trying to stave off the impending pain of her foot being asleep.
Wasn't much else to do, its not like she could pace the balloon with all these people in it.

Cara felt the balloon dip. She had a feeling that if the hole got any bigger, they would all start plummeting to the Earth. She decided to make sure that her pack was secure on her back, the straps safely around her arms and the harness around her waist buckled. She decided to hold Spirit safe so she pulled her close to her chest cradling her close.
When Cara pulled her close, Spirit became slightly alarmed but due to the widening hole in the balloon...she figured out why quite quickly. She knew that Cara didn't want to be separated from her and neither did she want to be separated from Cara. If that meant that they held on tightly to each other, then so be it. So, she latched on tightly to Cara as best she could, if the chance came that she could help in her descent, if the need came, she would do all she could.

Michelle watched as a few of the others got ready in case of balloon failure then followed their examples. She secured herself and Remy the best she could and hoped for the best.

Cara didn't really mind the slightly cramped quarters. The only thing she really minded was the hole in the balloon's envelope. Compared to falling to their almost certain deaths, she could handle anything. Being a little uncomfortable had nothing on the fear of crashing. Sure her legs were getting a little numb but whatever, she didn't mind...much.

The Captain zooms by on his Dragonite. "Emergency landing!" He called out to the crew, and the crew immediately maneuvered to bring the balloon down.
Once on the ground, you spotted why the Captain had called for a landing; another balloon was lying in the dirt, deflated. It seems everyone had survived and there were no serious injuries. You were glad that wasn't the balloon you were in.
It seems the Captain was calling all balloons for an emergency landing, as you weren't the first ones down.
(( Congrats for not falling out of the sky!
