I feel like a suspect. That's not the case is it?" He was already considering back up plans for if they tried to take him in. But he doubted that they would take the risk without solid evidence. And worst case scenario, he could always find blackmail to get out of it. That or strike a deal. Assuming he was actually caught that is. But so long as he played his cards right he wouldn't have to resort to that.

But it can calm down a group of screaming humans long enough to get business taken care of. )
Insinuate - By treating the supernatural as people, rather than monsters the she can upset and strain their foes, making it harder for the opponents to focus on subsequent attacks.( It’s kinda like having a really good reputation and it makes you less likely of a target. But at the same time the monsters will come to you when they are backed in a corner. )
Potent Blood- there is something about her blood that makes her heal just a little faster than normal. This also means if a vampire feeds off her, they will get more from her blood than other humans. It makes this power a double edge sword.

She said running a hand through her hair a few times before ruffling her bangs. her hand ran down the side of her neck where she paused for a moment. In her mind she said a few choice words. Amanda reached into another pocket and pulled out a pack of cigarettes, pulled one out and lit it up. She looked to Frank and offered him one. "Need a smoke? Bad habit really, but there are worst things that can kill you." Her long shift was finally coming to a close and she could head home. The news that the vampire she was after had been delt with put her at ease. Still there was the one that bit her. It wasn't something she was going to get over easily. "Anyways, I'm now officially off duty. want to take a walk? Can't sleep myself though I probably should."

"No I understand. It's a tough job and you have to suspect people because you don't know them. So it's alright. But no thanks, I don't smoke. Can't really stand it. And if you want to I won't object." Heinrich decided to try and probe her mind again to see if she was actually on to him or if he had gotten away. "By the way, I know it's early but did you make any progress on that nasty business from earlier? Do you have any idea who did it or why?" Of course he knew the answer to both of those questions, his student did it because Heinrich told him to. But he needed to know that his student had gotten away completely free. He put time and effort into teaching him and preparing him for the Great Work. If he was caught by Hunters then all that work would be for nothing.

She didn't fully trust Frank, but she didn't see him as a threat at this time.
She looked down at the cat and smiled softly. "Aren't you cute." She said as she quickly finished iff her cigaretti so she could pick up the cat. Amanda gently stroked the cat as she looked back to Frank, mostioning for him to follow. " come on, I don't bite." She said as she started walking.

Heinrich was still concerned, her mind had no connection between the two as, as far as he was aware at least, his student had no run ins with the Union. But it was still possible. "I see. I hope you catch the b*****d soon. Just let me make a quick call." Heinrich took out his phone and called his student to make sure he was safe at the Chapter House. Taking a few steps away from the Hunter he made the call. "...Hello?...I was just checking to make sure you made it back to the House alright...Good, you know how I worry. Your not exactly invincible you know...Alright, goodbye." Hanging up, he returned the phone to his pocket. Normally animals of any type don’t come up to me like this.” She replied, still petting the cat. “In fact I’ve never had a pet since I was little.” She looked down at the cat as it seemed to snuggle in. “what say you, are you a lost pet? Should a take you to the shelter?” Amanda added as she looked up at Frank. “Family is a good thing to have. It’s nice to see people checking in on siblings and stuff. Just keep him out of trouble.” There was almost sadness as she spoke about family. Memories came flooding to the surface of her own family’s demise. She also considered the Union as family. They might be a bit disfunctional at times, but it was the closest thing she had. “Is he your older or younger brother?”

As the woman talked about family her head sunk slightly that was one thing she had never had not since the change sure some people who wanted to use her but none that just wanted her around.

Heinrich could hear the faint tinge of sadness, and guessed it contributed to her being a Hunter, that's how it usually went after all. Still, he decided to ask further. Heinrich might have heard it, but Frank didn't. "How about you? You got any siblings?" Heinrich was probably well past a secured cover at this point. Now he just needed to get away so he could continue with his own business. But he had to be convincing. Otherwise she would become suspicious again. "I always wanted a sibling but I have none. My parents where murdered when I was young." she said softly, giving the kitten a loving squeeze for comfort. Her mind swirled with bitter, vengeful thoughts. She had seen it all, the werewolf and the vampire in her house when she came home that night. Her parents torn to shreds on the floor with the walls panted their blood. It was a cold reminder why she hunted and hated every last vampire out there. Amanda blamed them all for the act of one. "But that was in the past. I went to stay with a friend of the family and of cause it's why I'm a cop now. I want to stop that from happening to another family." She turned and offered a quick smile, trying to change the subject some. "So watch over your brother, he can't be replaced."
Amanda looked down at the little kitten and sighed. "I might just take it home and see how she likes my little pad." She said, playing gently with her tail. "So what do you do for a living Mr. Frank? not many people can walk the streets at all hours of the night and keep there job."

Kat gave a soft mew before she looked back across at the vampire gazing at him. why didn't hunters have the sight she sighed softly to herself but then she guessed it was good for her that they didn't. The last thing she wanted was to be hunted she was tired of running but then she wasn't much of a fighter so it was run or find someone who would protect her. hopefully this girl might prove to be helpful and maybe she could help the hunter herself she could tell the hunter was sad and wondered what it was exactly that made her turn was it only the murder or was there more to it...

It seemed Heinrich was correct in his theory. A small victory he supposed. Though he had once killed man to follow the Dragon's Tail, as instructed by his mentor and as he had instructed to his students, he wasn't a heartless monster. Vampire or not, he was human once. And he still remembered his family. "I'm sorry to hear that." Keeping quiet for a bit, he let her talk to the cat and answered when she asked him the next question. "Well, I'm a stock trader. So I don't really have to do much. I started as a day trader, buying and selling stocks over the course of a single day for dollars of profit. Once I had something established I worked with more stocks and more money and it kind of just went from there."
Disciplines:
-Can enhance his senses to razor edges, and with that can see in the dark. Vulnerable to overstimulation when used. -Capable of reading a person's aura to determine emotional state and supernatural type and influence. -Can read psychic imprints on objects and locations left behind by powerful emotion. -Telepathy allows him to read a person's mind and probe it for information, and can even send mental messages. However strong minds can resist the intrusion if they can notice it and line of sight must be kept at all times. -Mind Pulse, capable of extending his mind to his target's and sending a sort of mental pulse to cause pain and hindering the target's movement and ability. Can be resisted as Telepathy and causes a drain on his mental powers for a short time.
-Touch of Shadow, able to hide objects from the minds of others, causing their senses to ignore its existence. Meaning they will not see or feel the object. Certain powers can detect and counter this. Video is not affected and will capture the object regardless. -His very nature as a Vampire is hidden, his aura appearing normal and his Predator's Taint being undetectable. Certain powers can see through this. -Cloak of Night, can hide himself from the minds of others, meaning they will not see him, they will hear no sound he makes unintentionally, and they will subconsciously move out of his way. Video cameras are unaffected, but a person viewing through a live feed is. Certain mental powers can detect and penetrate this power. And activating it with witnesses makes it harder to do. -Able to disguise himself as someone else, but can only affect small groups at most. Certain powers can see through the disguise.
-By combining his mental extension and his disguise, he's capable of creating illusions. These are not real, but if a person believes they are they can cause psychic trauma unless the person knows without doubt they are false. It causes much greater drain on his mental reserves and can leave him drained and vulnerable if he isn't careful. Again, certain powers can see through this, or worse.
-Capable of moving five times faster than normal, but rapidly drains his blood reserves. His movement becomes a blur that most can't keep up with.
-Coils of the Dragon allows him to use his blood more efficiently, to feed from even beasts, and to gain greater sustenance from feedings. He can better control his beast, and has managed to unlock a Coil to reduce the damage from fire, allowing him to heal far more easily.
-Mind of the Dragon, through constant study and strain, he has gained a perfect memory. In addition in the back of his mind he constantly compares the present to the past to guard against mind and memory tampering. Lastly he's able to set part of his mind side, making using his mental powers much harder, to suck in any kind of tampering.
-Ritualist, Heinrich is a master of rituals. these rituals can have nearly any affect one can think of, however the greater the affect the rarer the reagent must be. In addition to incantations in usually a dead language and magic circles of complex natures that must be exact. Possibly along with certain locations and times or events that it must be done under.

The Edge :
Most hunters are nothing more and mere humans, but a few have an edge to their fight. This edge isn’t supernatural nor can it trump any supernatural ability but it help to give a slight hand up in the fight against the monsters that go bump in the dark.
Be Calm- This ability is just as it sounds. She radiates inner calm inhibiting drastic action and slowing down reaction times, while also stifling anger, relieving fear and lessening senses of urgency.( It can’t brain wash or make a person do something against their will. But it can calm down a group of screaming humans long enough to get business taken care of. )
Insinuate - By treating the supernatural as people, rather than monsters the she can upset and strain their foes, making it harder for the opponents to focus on subsequent attacks.( It’s kinda like having a really good reputation and it makes you less likely of a target. But at the same time the monsters will come to you when they are backed in a corner. )
Potent Blood- there is something about her blood that makes her heal just a little faster than normal. This also means if a vampire feeds off her, they will get more from her blood than other humans. It makes this power a double edge sword.
Amanda came to a stop in front of a few downtown apartment buildings. She looked back to Frank "No reason for you to be sorry. It's not like you did it." she replied before giving some thought to being a stoke broker. her nose scrunched up a hair as she quickly shook it off. She loved her job, it got her into places that most people couldn't go. "I don't think I could handle such a slow passed job. I like my fasted passed line of work."
As they spoke a man stepped out and looked at her. His eyes narrowed he waved then headed off once more. "Oops, think I might be in trouble. guess this is where we part ways." Amanda looked down at the cat and smiled. "lets get some sleep. I have a busy day tomorrow."
"Night Frank, it's nice talking with you." Amanda said before turning and headed into one of the building with the cat still held in her arms. the man that waved her down also entered the same building.
