At least she was still calm. Relatively calm. Calm enough to land another decent blow to the harpoon and with a series of rattles and whirring gears, it finally fired off a shot. She couldn’t tell how strong it was, but it was something.
Alaska still glared at it though. Stupid piece of machinery.
Total damage done (to harpoon): 27 thank

[Solomon Sun Trainee]
Solomon had been sleeping like the dead. Enjoying nice dreams about milkshakes and driving 95 miles down the coast when he shouldn't have been with his hair trailing in the wind dangerously. Then he was rudely awakened -
"ATTENTION ALL HUNTERS. RETURN TO THE MAIN GATES. YOUR ATTENTION IS NEEDED. ATTENTION ALL HUNTERS- "
Solomon nearly rolled out of his bed, hitting the floor on all fours and having his knee scream at him in pain. His first reaction was to grab for his pain killers and down two of them before he righted himself. Pulling his coat over his head and heading towards the door. He hadn't been too worried until he saw everybody running for their lives. WELL THEN.
It wasn't hard to chase after someone to make his way to the gates like everybody else was.
'Red?' Follow the red lights. Okay. He knew that color for sure and Solomon went chasing after them to find where he needed to go. What he got for his efforts were harpoons and a man in a suit who looked kinda grouchy. Okay. Blah blah blah aim blah blah?
Hmmm....
Solomon took a moment to aim the harpoon, setting it against his shoulder.

The alarms. They never failed catch attention when they went off, which, Sherry supposed was the point of them. She dropped what she was going and headed to the main gates, with everyone else.
Green lights. Okay. That part was simple. The rest of her orders weren't as much. She began grabbing runes, doing what she could to ignore the gross things the creature had just done, and set about playing the 'match the rune' game.
Her first hunt didn't take her too long, and two more quickly followed. She was feeling rather proud of herself so far, even if this one rune in her hand still didn't have a home.
She looked up again, at the creature, then shook her head. She should not be focusing on that. Runes. She needed to focus on runes.
HP: 50/50

Harland listened to the alarms for a good thirty seconds before he even moved. He tilted his head up, as if trying to find the source, and gears started to click in his head: the main gates. "Guess I'd better go on down there, then," he said, pushing to his feelt slowly and slipping his coat on over one of his only two shirts. He sauntered over to the door, pulled on his red cowboy boots, and prepared to roll.
☆≼In case of emergency, please leave Harland Leander Belle behind, or he will slow the group to death,≽ Coyote remarked, irritable again Harland was taking his sweet time.
"Hurryin's panicking, and panic breeds mistakes," Harland said, with a shrug and a smile, locking his door behind him.
He made his way to the main gates briskly, however, and Coyote was appeased. Once he made it there, he listened to the voice, and followed the blue lights. "Is not my favourite colour, but it'll do I s'pose," he said, very quietly, to no one in particular.
Harland, thankfully, had been in the process of untucking his shirt when the flash of light had occurred-- he'd been too slow to even look up, so he hadn't been too slow to look down again. Good thing, or he would have been pretty blind.
Once that was done, he realized for now they intended him to use a turret, and a thin voice was instructing him (half in terms he really didn't get) how to go about doing that. Get on, fire turret. That couldn't be that hard.
Harland didn't startle easily, and though he felt an uneasiness in his stomach, aiming the turret was weirdly comforting. Maybe he could, at least, buy the others some time.
He basically missed the first shot, hit the second dead on, and then missed the third: clearly he had basically swung the thing in a sort of arc, thinking it worked like in the movies.
It didn't.
