Despite the wounds she'd sustained so far, she had no intention of stopping-- she'd learned the hard way that if she really had to, if she felt motivated enough, she could keep moving long past when she expected to collapse.
For now, it wasn't even so dire-- she moved forward as fast as she could, using her own weight as momentum behind the swing of the item.

That seemed to be the trick: to get some speed behind her, and then swing using not only her own strength, but the momentum as well. Amarus replicated the move as best she could.
