You awake feeling wonderful in an incredibly plush bed. Your clothes are sitting in a nearby chair, freshly washed and folded. A small but nourishing meal is beside your bed. Once you're ready to leave, a gargoyle slides in front of the door to look you over. "Oh yes, yes. You're looking quite well aren't you." It gives you a stony smile. "I'm very glad my meagre skills could be of use to you. Now of course, I would never ask for payment for those services which have seen to both your health and your comfort. Those are a duty and privilege, such an honor, really. But..." it hisses, smiling wider to reveal several sets of shark-like teeth, "...as they say, if you think you're getting a free lunch, most likely, you are lunch."
To leave the Infirmary, you must pay by giving up a key of your choice.
"Here," Rei tossed the PURPLE KEY, as he summoned his Sorrow's Tear. Should he reached the other side of the pool...he know what to do with that darned gargoyle...
Rocks cannot float, yes?
With an evil grin he exited the Infirmary, closing the door with a 'bang'.

But first thing first.
He must regained the key that he has used. He walked back to the entrance-Brutalis was still there.
Then it was simple.
He asked him for a key, he told him to make him a snack---
And voila! A salad-of-everything was in the gargoyle's hand.
In his...was another, perfectly identical Purple Key. How many of those are around, really...

Back to the pool...
He took of his clothes until only his boxers remained.
He stretches his plasmatic muscles.
His aim is to kick the gargoyle sunbathing on the tall lifeguard chair.
A memory plays inside his head. An emulated memories of when he was a member of swimming team who won the regional cup.
An illusion of signal gun being fired entered his ears.
He jumped into the water, forming a beautiful curve! No splash entry! +10!
The sharks, however, started to rush him!

Rei summoned the pair of guns, Sorrow and Rage in his hands and fired. Two sharks stopped on their tracks, a hole opened on their respective heads. He unsummoned those and called forth the scythe, Lost Memories! Using the momentum from its appearance, he pushed himself out of the water---
Redoing this several times gave the illusion that he was a flying fish!

He reached the other end of the pool. The gargoyle lifted its sunglasses and gave him a thumbs-up pose, as well as the black key.
He lifted the gargoyle and tossed it into the pool, smacking a nearby shark into concussion.

When Rei returned from the pool, Gwyn grabbed a key in each hand and put them in the locks. Motioning for Rei to do the same, Gwyn started counting down: "Three... twa... wan..." At the end of her countdown, she turned both of her keys, unlocking the door with Rei's help.

Taking the gesture at face value Gwyn passed Rei with a nod and headed up to the third floor into another room with five doors, including the one she had entered from. Looking at the locks on the door, she was glad they would have enough hands between the three of them to open this door when they got the keys.

Looking at the three open doors, Gwyn decided to head for the black door with music coming from behind it, to see if she could not get another key.
The music swelled and faded as she stepped inside. Instantly, she was greeted by a small, rather excited gargoyle. Its wings fluttered in delight as it saw her. "Oh excellent! Excellent! I've been just dying to see some knew blood here, all the others are lead-footed and have terrible taste in everything. Now what's your style? I can keep up with anything, and wow! A new routine! We're going to have to make a whole new routine for this, how exciting!" It said while clapping its hands. Then gave Gwyn a very firm hug.
"Go on you! Go touch the record-o-thing-player-whatsit, and it'll find a good song for us all to dance to!" It said while beaming happily and urging her forward with an impatient hand gesture. "If you do well, I'll give you a nice reward! And if you do badly...well you know what they say, no gain, get pain. Because grievous bodily harm is an artist's greatest motivator! I'm Dreary Day Raven Sway, by the by, I'm sure we're gonna be great friends!" The room had seemed to grow a bit dim when it mentioned what would happen if she did badly, but Gwyn paid it no heed.
Walking over to select her music and already none too pleased with the gargoyles, she looked through and picked out a recording of Scotland the Brave that was played solely on bagpipes. Most people hated bagpipes, for some reason, so Gwyn thought it would pay back the gargoyle for all she had suffered thus far. Unfortunately, it loved her selection and tried to get her to dance the Highland Fling.

Trying again, This time Gwyn got every step correct. Having appeased the gargoyle, Dreary Day gave her butt a bruising slap and slipped a key into her hand (because its hand was not going anywhere near where she kept her pocket).

Seeing Gwyn exited the door with music playing with a happy face, Rei wanted to know what made her that cheerful.

The music swells and fades as you step inside. Instantly you a greeted by a small, rather excited gargoyle. Its wings flutter in delight as it takes you in. "Oh excellent! Excellent! Returning from the first black door, Gwyn headed for the black door with bright lines of light shining from its frame to see if she could find a key there.
Entering the room, Gwyn was greeted by a near blinding spotlight and a lazy sort of applause. Looking around, she noted that she was on some kind of stage and that the applause had come from about a dozen or gargoyles in theatre seats... and all of them were looking straight at her. Never having been on stage before, she froze up, not noticing the gargoyle on the stage, until it spoke into its microphone.
"Aaaaaaand now! Our next act it the wonderful, fabulous, extremely entertaining..." it said before it leaned over as if to ask her name. Noting how she had frozen up, it continued, "...uh....This Guy!" Then it jazzhands-ed off the stage, leaving her standing there in front of the crowd.
It took a moment before Gwyn unfroze, but something familiar and special begun to creep into her. She found her body moving almost on its own and suddenly, she had a needle, thread, and a large roll of plain fabric. Getting to work, Gwyn started embroidering designs all over it. Flourishes, swirls, knots, animals plants, and even landscapes appeared on the cloth as her needle dove in and out. Gwyn was surprised that whenever she wanted to switch colors, a pre-threaded needle with the color she wanted was always waiting for her.
Starting to ignore her audience, Gwyn began to relax and enjoy her embroidery. The entire time, the gargoyles were siting up and paying attention to her. As soon as the cloth was filled with designs, applause and cheers filled the air until, finally, everything stopped and her performance was done. Confetti rained down from the ceiling. The gargoyle, whom had failed at introducing her before, walked back on stage and placed a plastic crown on her head, while handing her a trophy featuring a single black key and the a placard that reads: You're Super Talented!
Pleased, Gwyn returned to the main room.
