Ferno ↦HimFerno walked on until eventually Enya caught up. "Ideas are for beings who think" He said answering her question for him. Ferno's wicked smile appeared as her other conscience "talked" to her again. He was going to enjoy this. As Blake came up to them and told them there was a map, Ferno's smile turned more contempt. "There is a map." He had just started to walk in a direction, hoping to bump into someone to play with. After a few minutes Ferno got bored and decided to make things akward and have a little fun. As he kept walking without looking at either of the two he gave them a short subtle comment. "You know, you two would make a great couple.." He had no base for that comment and only wanted to see their reaction. Location:19, B Shape:100% Mood: Amused Tune: Perfect insanity

【======== ☠ ☠ ☠ ☠ ☠ ========〗 Ҟale ᾌstaria ζucien -Axe of Lucien- -Malandaia- Kale wouldn't argue further, as Ian made a smart choice at keeping Astaria at bay for longer, to make use of an interesting surprise attack. But it was definite that she should go first. She should never doubt her Roc abilities. It may be a fault of her own- that she underestimated her own abilities. When she was young, she would perform at that low level she thought of herself. Other times, she performed at the highest level of her abilities just because she thought it so in her mind. Kale grew to realize how powerful her own mind was. It was just a question if she would let her body relax and do what her mind says. Of course her mind is slightly biased when it comes to decisions like whether to let Astaria out. It was a good thing that Ian said to wait. He counted 1 vote of confidence in Kale's mind.
Then stepped forward a woman Kale hadn't noticed before. This would make things more interesting. Maybe she should have learned about the other players and their abilities, but she liked the surprise. And certainly, Kale was impressed. Out of nowhere, condensation appeared on Kale's nose and now all around them. It reminded Kale of flight and a lurch in her stomach told her she missed it dearly. Kale smiled at the beauty, but recognized the severity of the situation should not call for any romantic endeavors.
She reached to her skull mask and placed it over her face, hiding everything but her piercing green eyes. She quickly took the lead, running at a nice pace. Keeping her eyes peeled, but even more importantly, her ears picking up on almost every bit of information. She quickly counted the footsteps on the earth, and picked up on little scuttles of different small animals. She wondered how hidden the items would be. Might it be hidden within an old tree truck? Or a bird's nest? "How hidden do you believe these items will be?" Kale was in front, she wasn't sure how close the others were following. Thus, she wasn't sure who would answer her question, but she'd sure like it if Akasha did. She just kept running all the while, looking deep into the fog. Yes, she was most suited for this. SHe was ready to take to crown for Malandaia

Immediately after the gate was fully open she began looking around the ground for a nice medium rock. After finding one she thought was nice and solid with an adequate size she held it up turning it into a liquid and with a quick grip a simple edged dagger replaced the rock. She placed it in the empty sheath on her right hip and made eye contact as the leader finished up his pairing and instructions. Walking over from the shadows to stand next to the two elves she gave a smile ”It’s looks as if I will be a part of your team, it’s a pleasure to meet you both. ~- Kirisiaru 'Kiri' Hideran-~ - The white shade -
Team one: fighter
Like the harshly falling and piled snow, it's too bright... Like a transient fading sound, I'm not crying... I thought it was nothing, but the reality is very painful...
Kiri took the offered hand by Memori first, saying, "It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Memori. You are well known among our people. I also should correct our leader in that I'm quite certain you are the healer in our group." He released the hand and adjusted the naginata in his shoulder absently.
Then Bryn appeared and corrected their leader as well, making Kiri think their leader might not be very well-informed on who was what in this. He took the offered hand from her as well and said, "If any of us here could be considered an assassin, I'm closer to the definition of it than anyone else. Granted, I am... suspended from that role for the sake of the games. I suppose that makes me our group's main offensive force, Bryn, our scout and Memori on healing and communication. In our particular case, keeping Memori safe should be our main concern after seeking out the items. Without her in the game, communications are down and we lose our field healer. Let's hope the other teams don't get a chance to figure that out about you, Memori." His attention came back to Memori on the last sentence, trying to not speak about her like she wasn't there.
He paused and said, "It's not that I doubt you being able to handle yourself, Memori, but you understand why I see you as being critical to the team overall, yes?" Kiri wanted to make sure that he hadn't offended her, but that she also understood what he meant by saying she was as much of a priority as the items were.
... The message I want to convey is 'I loved you' -no, 'I love you.' ... It's difficult, it's painful, I'm lonely, it hurts, I want to cry. ... Before saying 'thank you,' let me say 'I'm sorry'.

________________ ______________________________ I S A D O R A yes A I T H N E ______________________________ ________________thebandit The woman was a tad peeved that the two were continuing to talk, she would have preferred that they stayed silent. The whole point was to try and get to the items without attracting attention from any predators. She said nothing to the mage when he apologized, she simply nodded her head, although she doubted he could see considering he was behind the Nymph. As the two went on about whether the items were scattered or not, Isadora replied, "Their location on the map is in one place. This information would lead me to believe that all of the items are together, but I may be wrong."
The Draconian didn't actually think she was wrong, but she supposed it could be a possibility. Highly unlikely though. She continued to practically fly through the forest, putting a good deal of distance between her task force and Team One's gate. Memori's owl flew above her, watching her group. It was comforting to know that she could still get messages from her leader, and that he would be able to know if they were in trouble. Although, she was sure they could handle themselves without assistance. Well, most of them anyway.
As they continued, the was the sound of...stomping? Isadora screeched to a halt throwing her hand in the air to signal to her team member to be still. She racked her brain for what sort of creatures stomped like that. The woman had studied extensively about the predators that could lurk in this arena during her training. Stomping...Stompers! Just as she realized this, out of the bushes, about twenty feet ahead of them, one made it's appearance.
"Don't...move," she whispered to her companions. It stomped the ground, clearly agitated with their presence. Isadora feared it was calling more, which would be bad news for them. They were too close to move away, it would sense them and charge. What were they afraid of again? Of course! Fire! Moving her arms slowly in front of her, she conjured up a ball of flames. Leaning forward she threw the fire at the creature. It stumbled back, clearly afraid of the flames. As the beast ran to their left, Isadora called out, "Let's go before more arrive."

When he explained they had already been split into groups she cringed. So much for him not noticing she was late. If she went up and talked to him he'd know. Scratching her head she contemplated what to say. Then he mentioned his team being down a person and that maybe she'd be on their team. " Sounds good to me." she said smiling shaking his hand. "The names Andromeda but you can call me Andi." she said with a grin. She realized she should probably talk to Sigfreig but he was talking to some elf at the moment so she figured she had a moment to spare.
He seemed a little uncomfortable around her, and Andi hated that. Smiling she watched him wander to find his other teammate. After waiting a second she went over to Sigfreig uncomfortably. "Sorry for being late sir. Had a last minute equipment change." she said casually. It was partially true anyways. Her great-sword needed a new enchantment and the elf that had made it ran late. Thankfully everything worked out and she did make it here. "I was told everyone had been split into teams. I'm very offensive when it comes to fighting sir, but I have a stronger defense." she said offering her hand to him. "I'm a last minute addition, and my name is Andromeda." she said sternly.

◤◢ ◣◥ Where:Team one's Gate ♦ With:Team One ♦ Thoughts: Time to get going ◤◢ ◣◥ ═━┈┈━═ Adapt or perish, now more than ever, is nature's inevitable imperative. ═━┈┈━═ Memori's perceptive eyes noticed his caution and she frowned inwardly. This was Ithus, not Malandia or Zeladis, why was he so wary? Not wanting to bring attention to a personal detail she simply smiled at him and nodded. "I'll do all I can to keep this link up, however battle can complicate things." with that she gave him a small nod and went back to her squad.
It seemed Byrn had finally arrived and both were introducing themselves aptly. Silently she waited till they finished shaking both of their hands. "It is prudent to know each others strengths and weaknesses certainly." she said agreeing with Kiri. "However I can scout impeccably, where my white magic is strong my eyes are stronger. Though you are correct if put under too much stress the communications will drop." she said nodding to his accurate assumption. He was kind in his speaking and she blushed slightly at his mention of her family. "I assure you I will let you both take the lead when it comes to fighting if that's your wish. The current games limitations on weapons has me somewhat at a disadvantage." she said a sour smile on her face. She was referring to duel wielding her swords but she didn't get into that.
Her eyes focused north instead, "We should get moving, Team 3's territory is located directly north of here, we should be able to slip through our territory quickly and into theirs unnoticed." she said as she began to walk towards the forest. No doubt there would be some predators in between, but they should be able to handle them. "Who would like to take lead?" she asked looking back at them.

☩ Akasha, Master of Destruction☩☣☣ Champion of Malandaia ☣☣ Akasha grinned as Kale spoke up, inquiring about the items. As she led the way, her eye couldn't help but venture up and down the woman's body, the skull mask in front of her face giving her a world of mystery. She took a step closer so that she could speak without being too loud. "Well, as far as I know the items will be very well hidden. I have read that the dagger may be stuck into a tree high above the ground so that only the most keen eyes could spot. I personally have never competed in a game before this one, but I am sure we will all be able to hunt them down." Akasha walked up and ran her hand up Kale's back, taking lead for just a moment to get a look through the fog.
She looked all around the mist, not seeing anything out of the ordinary as of yet. They hadn't traveled too far from the gate yet, but she was sure it wouldn't be long until they started running across other teams. The fog continued to give them constant cover, and even if another team noticed it, they would still have the upper hand due to the fact that the slightest movement in the fog would be seen by Akasha. She let out a slow sigh and turned to Kale once more and asked quietly, "See or feel anything interesting yet my dear?" She wished she would have the chance to say those words in another setting. Akasha was starting to feel a stronger and stronger desire for these games to get an end so she could get to know her teammates a bit better. Even her rivals, if they were attractive enough, would most definitely be worth getting to know a bit better. Akasha grinned as she looked at Kale, awaiting her answer.

Nation/Race: Second in Command of Malandaia/Demon Where: Somewhere southeast from Team two's Gate. With: With Kale, Akasha and Cill OOC: -Ian smiled at Kale, noticing that she had accepted his opinion. He was often told that he made the right decisions, but he was new to leadership. Although he was second in command and not the leader, he did have quite a responsibility now. He had to take care of three warriors, who obviously could protect themselves most of the time, but he had to take on the role of guidance. The fog had made things both easier and more difficult though. He wondered if anyone of the other teams had noticed the mist already, if they met in the mist he would have to rely on his senses. He just hoped that they wouldn't encounter another Roc while in the fog, his senses were good but couldn't rival that of those feathered creatures, he didn't have any doubts.
The Demon looked up at Kale's words, searching for her silhouette in the mist. He had stayed on the right flank, letting her walk diagonally in front of him. This way they could observe a wider range, have more protection. ''This whole thing is set up by the Goddess, she wants to test us so I'm guessing they're pretty well-hidden.'' He reasoned, while looking at Akasha, who now approached Kale. Of course.. He thought and shook his head. Ian wouldn't be surprised if Akasha had been a siren in her previous life. Whenever there was someone beautiful; she would touch. Not that he didn't know the feeling, after all he also didn't recognize interesting people's so-called 'personal space' either. Maybe it was because they were both Demons? He raised an eye-brow at the unfolding situation, he knew that look in Akasha's eye all too well. If Kale didn't look as interested in Akasha as well, he would have messed around, like old times. He had often made passes at the girls the female Demon had courted, just for fun.
He walked up to them and put a hand on both of their shoulders. ''As long as you two stay focused and don't make me too jealous, I'll allow this, yes?'' He announced with a slight grin, half serious face. Some people tended to forget about fighting or made wrong decisions because loved ones were involved. He wasn't going to allow such slacking. It probably wouldn't go that far, but warning them beforehand was better than when it would be too late. For a split second Kairyn appeared in his mind. He sighed and returned to his place in the group again. He wondered if he knew any of the other contestants too, that would be problematic. Despite being a Demon, Ian was easily attached to someone, maybe a result of his past in Zeladis. ''Let's speed up a little, shall we?'' He said and made an example by running, though without a sound, ahead.''''

As he expected, he was much more at ease in action. It was only scouting ahead of his leader and their fellow crew members, but it was something and he was finding a use for himself. It was no time before he was able to adjust himself to the forest area. Growing up in an area near forests gave him to opportunity to familiarize himself with what one would feel like. The consistent spreading of trees, uneven ground, thick roots that could be reaching skywards. Also the small forest critters the lurked at one's feet. Easy obstacle to avoid. There wasn't a whole lot of time to muse the land of a forest at the moment. He remained focused on the only two things that mattered. Running swiftly in the right direction and watching out for anything that may be a potential threat. Well... What would he even do if he did find something worth noting? Yell? That could bring the danger's attention to him, wouldn't it? He assumed those flanking behind him wouldn't recognize the voice as his but at least they would be aware. On the bright side, nothing was coming up that he could see yet. Yet being he didn't have very great eyesight at the current time of day, it was just slightly less painful to his eyes now that they were under some treetops.
He buckled down to business. A keen ear was being the most useful to him at the time. Doan ducked under low branches and hurdled whatever lay on the ground before him. Between the colors he wore and the quiet footsteps, there were times that he could just jump over an unsuspecting animal. The way in which he moved made it more clear as to why he left his midsection open on these running errands. If there would be something there, it would just get in his way and slow him. He needed to be able to utilize his mid. Of course, it was a very vital area and a huge target if they were to be attacked, yatta yatta... But he was almost certain he could sprint away from a fight faster than the perpetrator could chase. Speaking of chase. He slowed only slightly to allow himself to glance behind. He didn't see anyone, but it occurred to him that this was obvious. He was in earshot, he was sure. In the light of day, they should have been able to see him if they came closer. He would continue pressing forward until either something of significance forced him to a stop or he was called for.

Cill - Knight Exile Team Two Heavy Hitter Location: With some peopleStatus: Awaiting usefulness.Cill's armor clinked as he moved, yet its weight seemed nonexistent as he walked. He seemed out of place among the streams of light passing through the mist, like some archaic figure born from the age of legends, existing only in rumor and memory. "I will cover the rear then." He said as his current companions took off. He didn't have trouble keeping up with most of them, although if the Roc were to take her winged form, he'd be SOL. "I'm here to protect those with better eyes than mine. If I had to guess, the objects would be hidden in a manner that requires more than a keen eye to locate." His hands rested on his swords as he walked. The girl, Kale, she was a Roc. Cill regarded this statement, exploring all it implied. She seemed different than he'd expected, and her mention of another 'her' seemed somewhat odd. Then again, he was an exile from the Northern Tribes, serving a demon, fighting for a rock made by a magical goddess. Not that he was in any position to determine what was 'odd' in this world. He studied her, she was lithe, moving with a grace a creature of air should. Cill wasn't sure that she *was* a creature of air, but if she could fly, it counted to him. He watched from within his helm, dark eyes barely glinting in the eye slits. The newcomer was a different story. He both liked her and loathed her at the same time. She ran ahead, her form fading slightly into the fog. "Ilixthnabri" He cursed under his breath as his foot caught on a root. It was demonic, although he didn't know what it meant, just that his Demon said it when she was ticked.

A short lived smile was given to the both of them, and she extended her hand quickly to the man she had yet to meet. "Apparently I'm assigned to you two, looks like you could use a heavy hitter anyway." she said sizing up Theo and Gayvn equally. Neither of them looked very strong, nor looked like they would excel in melee combat. Which was good, gave her more room to take over. "The names Andromeda by the way. But you can call me Andi." she said grinning. "We should probably get heading out then, we have a bit to travel." she said looking at her map quickly for a moment.
