 Ventera Ven watched as a new guy came up to the group. He was apparently one of their members. This was going to get annoying. And as she had just thought that she was right. He had gone and stupidly fired his weapon into the large brush that surrounded the forest. What an idiot! Ven thought as he did that. Kieth had dodged a tree falling, but after that a large snake appeared. Of course everyone's first intention was to attack. Kieth had done so and in turn pissed off the snake.
As they all stood there the snake hissed and moved its head back and forth as it was staring them all down figuring out which one to go for. Everyone had weapons drawn and ready. Ven too was ready, but as they were all standing there trying to think of what to do the snake lunged. Ven noticed it do so and head straight for Miya. "Look out!" Ven shouted. She rushed toward her grabbed Miya around the waist and in a blurred moved out of the snakes way as its head hit the ground causing dust and dirt to rise. As soon as they were out of the way and landed steadily Ven set Miya down.
They were now separated from the boys on one side of the snake. Ven looked at Miya. She had no problems with the girl. She turned to her. "Listen this thing will not give us time to think it is do or die alright," Ven stated to Miya. She looked out of the corner of her eye at the snake as it pulled it's head from the ground slowly recovering from the impact it had made. "We don't have time to think of something plan wise, but look you try to reunite with the guys, tell them that we need to surround it and attack at different times and dodging on coming attacks. Now go I'll by you some time to tell them what to do," Ven said.
She then drew her short katanas specially made from a special alloy. She held one in each hand before rushing forward. She jumped on the snakes back running up to the snakes head. She got to the base of its back jumping up at a high distance. She raised her katanas and plummeted down onto the snakes head. She jabbed both blades between the snakes scales into its tissue membrane. The snake of course was not to pleased. It reared its head and started shaking violently. Ven held on tightly to her blades that were stuck into the snake.
Riding the snakes violent shakes for a little while longer. As she did she dropped her head, blue sparks slowly flying around her. She then released a large blue bolt into the blades which in turn went into the snake. It froze slightly trembling due to the pulsing lightning going through it's body. By this time she would have assumed Miya to have told the others about the small plan. She then lifted her head. "Attack it now!" she called down to her teammates.

Miya Izukiyaki  Miya was caught off guard the instant the snake moved to attack her, and before she had time to think someone grabbed her and shouted "Look out." Then next thing she knew she was standing next to the other woman of their group, Ven she believed her name was and stared at her for a moment blinking, but taking in everything she had said. She nodded, "Right." Then split ways with Ven to head back towards the guys, she dodged the creatures tail, whether aimed at her or not, and kept running til she saw the others. "Hey! Ven says we need to surround it and attack at different times and dodge what attacks it deals us!" She loooked at them a moment standing amongst them now, she mentioned Ven because it was her idea and she didn't want credit for someone else's idea, it was just wrong. She stood there a moment to make sure they understood before moving on to the right side of the creature and charging for it the crystal glittered and the sword lightened greatly but strengthened hopfully enough to pierce the creatures hide. She jumped up to the raised part of the body and plunged her sword into it cutting deep then sprung back to avoid getting hit.

 Jason caught up with the rest of the group just as the giant snake started its attack on them, he jumped to once side and drew his sword just as Keith fired a shot from his staff which more than anything just seemed to piss the creature off rather than hurt it. He sighed and shook his head and was looking for the best place to attack the thing when Miya came up to them and explained the plan. He was about to ask who "Ven" was when he heard the snake roar in pain and looking up he saw the black haired girl, swords drawn, riding the creature like a horse. So that's your name now is it? he thought to himself I'll have to ask you how you got ahead of me, but right now talk is unimportant
After she had finished talking and attacked the snake he jumped out of the way of another strike and seeing an opening while it recovered ran in and slashed at what looked like a softer portion of the snake's back, his thought confirmed when he felt his sword make contact with the flesh and meet minimal resistance as he made his way through the creature's body. Hearing a loud hiss he looked up just in time to see it's head over him and rolled out of the way, narrowly missing the attack. "Okay who's next?" He asked half-jokingly

Kieth Hietz Kieth stood back trying to think of something to do and before he knew it the beast attacked and separated the boys from the girls. Kieth clenched his teeth as he pointed the bo staff at the large snake. He was ready to send another attack when Kieth noticed Ven attack the snake so Kieth had to hold on. Moments later Miya ran up to them and explained what they needed to do. Surround it and attack at different times. Kieth watched Miya and Jason's attack the now stunned snake and he waited for an opening to attack himself. He was surprised what powered they had and their weapons. Barely noticing that Miya jumped back Kieth smirked he knew what he had to do. Kieth ran toward the large snakes face that was no lying flat on the ground. Before he got up to his head Kieth jumped up and twisted his bo staff in half and he grabbed one end and lunged it into one of the eyes of the snake. He then laid flat on the of the snakes head and grabbed the half that was stuck inside the snakes eye. He reached all the way across to the other snake's eye and lunged the other half inside. He clenched both the halves and focused for a moment. Moments later he shot both ends at the same time sending lead direction into the snake's brain. He heard the pellets bouncing around inside the thick skull. After he shot about 8 rounds he pulled out both the ends and rolled off the snake's head and connected both them together and blasted himself away from the snake's head. He landed roughly in almost the same spot he originally was and looked over at the snake. It wasn't moving now, but he still wasn't sure if it was still stunned or not, so he waited for a few moments before speaking. " Is it dead?" Kieth said as he walked up to it slowly and extended his bo staff toward its bleeding head now and gave it a few pokes. "Yep it's dead." He said wiping his scraped and bloody arms.

Miya Izukiyaki Miya had rolled back quite aways from the snake after her attack and now walked around to its front and was amazed that Keith had stabbed it through the eyes and shot into its brain to kill it. Though she still wasn't entirely sure if the snake was dead, despite the fact. She continued to watch it keeping her distance as she walked by and sheathed her sword, the glow from the crystal receding as she did so. She walked up to the others, "I think I would rather fight people over giant monsters. Let's get this task done quickly and get out of here." She looked around to all, "Yeah?"

Kieth Hietz Brushing himself off again he turned away from the snake and looked everyone. Most of their attention was on him and Kieth felt a little awkward. He had to admit that what he did was a little..brutal. But it was the only thing he figured out to do maximum damage. He turned his attention away and reloaded a new belt inside his bo staff and he twisted to lock it in place and ready to be used once more. He then watched Miya walked up to them saying something about fighting people then to rather fight monsters but he felt that the only people here were the teams and them. Despite that Kieth was used to fighting robots more then anything else. "Sounds like a plan." Kieth said and he faced towards Ven and gave her a thumbs up for stunning the snake. He then told everyone else. "Good job everyone." He felt everyone needed credit since they did hurt the snake enough for him to get the finishing blow, all of them were indeed skilled. He looked at all of the once more and nodded then he proceeded to sprint once more. Time passed and it seemed like luck was on their side since they didn't run anything else surprisingly. Eventually they reached a granite platform with items that were shaped like the teams; animals and were colored coordinately. The green one was already missing so Kieth assumed they've already retrieved theirs.Kieth came to a skidded stop as he walked up to his team's item and picked it up. It wasn't heavy and it was manageable to carry to not get in the way too much. " Great I guess it is time to head back." He said with the smirk but then all of his mood was killed when heard a voice from behind. "Not so fast!" Kieth turned to the direction the voice came from which was the opposite side of his team. It was the red team and the look on their faces wasn't so settling. One of them stepped ahead of their team to what Kieth assumed was their leader and he spoke. " Unfortunately your team aren't going to pass today. He had a sinister look on his face Kieth could tell. He figured that they wanted to eliminate the competition as best as they could but he wasn't going to let that happen. Of coarse he couldn't kill them either so he figured it was best to knock them out or escape. But still Kieth tried to reason with them. "I am sure this is not how the test is suppose to g-" He was cut of a bit early when the supposed leader charged up to Kieth with a long steel hammer like object which Kieth blocked but he was able the bones in his hands vibrate intensively which hurt but he still managed to block all of it. "You want a fight you got it." He said glaring at the red team's leader. It was an even fight when he noticed the rest of their team went after Kieth's. He sure hoped they were able to handle it.

Ventera Ven had removed her blades once the snake had fallen. She replaced them in their sheathes and hopped off of the snakes large head. She noticed a thumbs up from Kieth, who apparently was taking lead of the group. She looked over at Jason. She knew she had finally gotten his attention with what she could do.
The first test apparently was passed seeing as how they defeated the snake. They moved on to their next goal there were three totem like objects it appeared, but one was missing. This must have been their goal to get this thing back as quickly as possible. There were only two left red and blue which meant the green team had already gotten there and started to head back.
Kieth was about to grab theirs until the red team showed up. They didn't look very pleasant and looked like they were the type to kill to get the win. Ven watched as Kieth tried to reason with leader, but it failed and he had charged for Kieth. Ven was about to step in to help, but she had someone coming her way as well. Ven used her lighting ability to flash out of the way, behind her target now she roundhouse kicked them a good ways onto the ground in front of her.
The red team member didn't seem pleased, with Ven's actions getting up and charging again. This was going to take a minute Ven could tell. She ended up starting to trade blows with this girl from the red team as she spouted off nonsense like red team was the best and that they were going to win. Ven grew tired after a while of hearing her blab and laugh maniacally. Ven had her hands and the red team girls hands together. Ven was pushing her and she was pushing Ven. They were locked together not able to move equalling out each other. Ven grit her teeth before she threw her head back then forward colliding heads with the girl. Ven hit the girl so forcefully it had knocked her out, and Ven started to feel a bit dizzy. She fell to her knees everything spinning slightly. It had been a while since she had to head butt someone so hard. After a little bit longer she regained composer quite quickly, but she was in no condition to fight anyone else.

Miya Izukiyaki Miya was relieved that they had not run into anymore giant beasts and slowed when they got to the platform seeing the last two totems and one missing. Sensing movement on the other side of the platform she turned just as another voice spoke, 'Not so fast!' It was the red team and they didn't look very friendly. She continued to watch some more, then took a defensive stance and withdrew her blade when the leader of red attacked Keith. Her attention may have been fully on those two but thanks to her heightened senses she was able to block the attack from another member of the red team. He was caught off guard, she assumed that he probably thought he would be able to sneak up on her and attack her when she wasn't paying attention. "How dishonorable of you to sneak up on me when I wasn't paying attention." She shoved him away with her sword, activated the crystal and watched him carefully. He had a weapon that was part sword, part chain which he was swinging, the sword end came first and she blocked it with her sword. It was a distraction and the chain end wrapped tightly around her sword arm and she was yanked towards him. As she was forced towards her opponent her mind raced as she thought of all the possibilities and movements he would make. He would slash his weapon towards her sword arm hoping to severely injure it, she waited a few moments more, then when the correct distance was calculated she moved away from the moving weapon aimed for her torso just barely dodging it and during the momentum created her shield and slammed it directly into his face. They both tumbled to the ground. A few moments later she rolled off and sat on her knees carefully unwinding the chain off of her arm and rolling up the sleeve, as she did so she looked over to her opponent who lay unconcious on the ground and, quite possibly, with a broken nose. Relieved that he will not be waking up anytime soon she went back to her arm, there were some cuts where the chain had dug into her skin, but otherwise it would leave a severe bruise and will be quite painful for several days, a week perhaps. She would have to fight with her left arm from now on if the need arose, in the meantime she remained where she was and looked around, the woman who had saved her from the snake earlier was down, but she didn't look too badly hurt, and the others still seemed to be fighting. She got up and moved over to Ventera, then sat down again. "Hey. Are you ok?"

"At least creatures like this don't protest when they are about to be defeated." Jason said with a shrug as he got up and brushed himself off noticing blood starting to drip from a couple of cuts he must have gotten when he dove out of the way, "but at least humans put up more of a fight then this thing did."
He was about to say something to Ven after she jumped down from the snake's lifeless head, when the red team jumped out of the forest and after taunting them rushed in for an attack. He had just enough time to see Keith get jumped by a kid he assumed was the team's leader before he heard someone charging at him and was able to pick up his sword just in time to block two daggers slicing at him and a guy that looked maybe a year or two older than him give a toothy grin behind them. "You picked the wrong person and team to attack today kid." He said, spinning and using the dagger kid's own momentum to throw him into the ground skidding, only stopping when his body collided the snake's, "Com'on given the cockiness of the rest of your team I expected more of a fight than that." That counter taunt did it and just as Jason finished his sentence the boy was on him again swinging quickly and wildly with Jason either avoiding or countering every one all the while looking for an opening to strike back.
After dodging blows for a while, the kid's attacks started to slow down and it appeared that he was losing stamina. It was this moment that Jason had been waiting for and thankful that he had been trained for a situation like this. In between strikes, he saw his opening and switching from defensive to an offensive stance, swung his sword creating a deep wound in one of the kid's arms causing him to scream in pain and drop on of the daggers, stopping his swing he used both his fist and the hilt of his sword to throw a punch into his opponent's gut with enough force send him back down into the ground.
Jason was breathing heavily and had to stop for a second to regain himself when felt someone bump into him and turned around, not quite ready to face another onslaught like that only to see nothing another knocked out member of the red team, this one female, and he could have sworn the one that attacked keith was male so left one of two people left he quickly glanced around the area and after looking on the ground a few feet in front of him saw Ven on her knees and looking a bit shaken up. He walked over to her and held out his hand, "Not bad princess, both on the snake and the girl," He said, "Looks like we both got the fight we wanted, just not with each other. Now what do you say we grab the rest of our team, that totem with our color on it and finish this test before these guys wake up with a vengence for us?" Jason hoped that was the all of the red team, but he wasn't sure given that he had thought that more students had shown up at the gym last night.

Kieth Hietz The two team leaders glared at each other with both their blunt weapons were pushing against each other. Both of them pushing as much as they can. " Better stand down I'm warning you one last time." Kieth said with a stressful look on face. The read team's leader scoffed at him and replied. "You're just a kid what makes you think you can defeat me." The red team's leader's force grew more and Kieth started to skid back. Kieth then smirked with a reply, " I fight dirty." With that he shifted to the side of his opponent. The large hammer came falling to the ground to where Kieth was first at and then came swinging back toward him. This time Kieth dodged it by shooting blast at the ground and jumping up to maximize height. He then threw his staff like a spear but at the same time shooting once more to increase the speed of the staff. The blunt end came crashing down on the red team leader's head. It knocked him back a bit but Kieth then caught the repelled spinning bo staff in mid air and and did a spun with it and crashed it down flat on his opponent knocking him down into the ground. The move he used cause great stress on his body but it was worth it. Afterwards his muscles felt soar as he looked down to see a bruise form on the red opponent who was now knocked out. He slowly walked over to the platform once more and grabbed the item and turned to face his victories team. He looked over all the unconscious red team . Still breathing heavily he spoke. " Lets head back to the camp." Then started to walk back.

Ventera Ven had sat there as she recovered. She held her head and finally gotten over being dizzy. The others had been fighting someone from the red group as well and it appeared that they were fairing pretty well. Ven then noticed Miya walk up to her and knelt next to her and asked her if she was alright. "I'm fine, I'm used to it" Ven stated. It was true what she said. She had used her head multiple times back home in fights.
She watched as the others finished up with their fights as well. Surprisingly Jason walked up to her. He spoke to her, not in a cocky arrogant way, but more of a team mate/friend way. She did have to agree with him as he asked about the fight they got, but it wasn't quite the one they wanted. She then looked up at his hand seeing him offer it to her. That lead her into a moment of flashback. She had a partner that would always help her up when she went down. She almost smile at his offer, but hid it instead. She took his hand and instead of letting him help her up she pulled herself up using his hand as leverage.
"Thanks" she said. She didn't say it rudely though, it was sincere, but didn't quite sound it. She did appreciate his help a little, and they were teammates they had to get along at least until the whole team set up was done and over with. She agreed with Jason that they should head back before the red team decided to recover and recoil. She nodded and waited for Kieth and Miya to come along as well.

Kieth Hietz As they made it the camp it was late in the evening and it started to get a little dark. The green team was already there which made Kieth grow a small jealousy towards them. Deep down he wanted to be first but the green team was something else.. However despite all that he stood their with the items in his hands alongside his team. They waited for a while longer and then the headmaster finally stood up from his chair to speak. "I guess the red team won't be joining us today so let us be-" Soon the red team started to arrive slowly still slightly injured. Kieth's eyes was on their leader and then the one with the deep cut wound which made Kieth think of Jason. Damn I am glad he is on my team. In fact he was happy for all them to be on him team. "You're late." The headmaster said bluntly as he told the red team and then snatched the red team's item away. "Luckily we were just about to begin." "But sir-" "I will not tolerate excuses and neither will the real world."Kieth held in his snicker when the headmaster walked up to him to take the item out of his hands, and as he proceeded to do so with the green. Kieth could tell the green team was also giving looks to the red team. They seem to be the only ones who really got messed up. The green team looked like they barely had a scratch on them. The leader of their did look quite fierce. When the headmaster was done collecting he placed the items on the table, green in the middle, blue on the left, and red on the right. " I think it is clear that the green team came first, blue second, and red last." He said sitting down once more next to assistant. " I believe it is also quite clear who are your leaders as well, and that you have some what have a feel for your team mates skills." He then looked at the red team. "Some more then others." He then turned to everyone once more again. " I am glad you all lived since you are this world's only hope." Kieth was a little shock that he actually said something encouraging. "You all can rest for now, tomorrow we will start sparring." He said standing up and then retrieving a very odd looking cane and then walking up to the items. The blue eagle, the green lion, and the red tiger. "And as for these items." He said and then his cane started to glow a shade of orange and then touched each one with his cane. Soon after all three came to life and they all started to flee. "The gym is open 24 hours if any of you are interested, and if you follow the cliff along the right side, there is catapult that will launch you back up to the academy, the nurse's office is also opened if you need it." Soon the headmaster and the assistant both dissipated into one of the camp's large tents. "A catapult.." Kieth said scratching the back on his head. He hoped to dear god that whoever was operating it that they aimed right.

Miya Izukiyaki Miya had stood when Ventera said she was fine and stepped back as she was helped up by Jason, at that time Keith had announced that they should leave before the other team came to and she couldn't help but to agree. She made one last glance around as her team began to leave, the red team was still unconcious, so she followed after the others and caught up. As they returned green team was, of course, already there, and recognizing that they had arrived and, she assumed, time was up the headmaster began to speak. Not long after she looked back and saw the red team straggle in to join the encampment looking beat up. The headmaster didn't say anything about it but instead took the items and moved on with his speech. After the headmaster spoke she continued to stand there a bit, thinking one what to do now. Perhaps upon their return to the academy she will wash up, then go to the gym to go through her movements and excersizes before going to bed. But the thing that her mind strayed to after her decision was the way back. "I'm not quite sure how I feel about free-flying through the air. They say a catapult will launch us back up... What's going to catch us?" She would hope that there would be something soft, or at least something, to land on.

"Sure, no problem." Jason replied to Ven's thank you, it was the last thing he was expecting to hear from her and when she gripped his hand he only gave a slight and hopefully barely noticeable tug to help her up, nodded and turned towards the direction of the camp and began walking back.
When they made it back to the camp Jason noticed that only the green team had made it back so far Figures... he thought with a scoff as he saw them and heard the head master begin his speech just before the red team came limping back and he started to smile at how beat up they looked and the reaction, but he lost the smile when he noticed something off about their team.
After the headmaster finished his talk, Jason joined the rest of the blue before they headed back to the "catapult". "Was it just me or did the red team that came back here seem a little smaller than the red team that left this morning and the one we fought at the totems?" He asked them in a hushed voice.
((I hope this post didn't throw anyone off, please tell me if it did and I'll change it.))
